Yaguu lumbered on, spotting the mountain of paradise. "Ohu..." he thought. "Finally... I'm here!" he had been traveling for days, facing countless threats and forcing himself to leave behind his beloved neice Shadora to come and join the Ohu army. It was any dogs dream... to live where their ancestors had. Gin, Riki, and Weed... Yaguu looked up to see the joining of dogs. "Hey, whats all the commotion?" the huge beast laughed and lumbered over. "Wheres the leader?" he saw the injured wolf. "Hey there. Are you ok?"

Hero watched the leader speak. He kept his eyes trained on him, and only him. A former alpha himself, he was checking to see if this dog was worthy of being the guardian of this paradise. His yellow eyes studied the way the alleged leader held himself while standing in front of his subordinates. The tone of his voice, the disposition, the Beauceron's aura.
The pure Akita found good in this rather young dog. And there was something in his eyes that Hero found himself rather interested about. [shadow=black,left,300]We are kindred spirits.[/shadow] He thought to himself. Hero just knew that the two of them both have a sacred and strong oath in their hearts, to serve and protect the good in others. Hero sheathed his Wakizashi, and turned. There was one major difference between the two of them. [shadow=black,left,300]He made his swear out of love, mine was out of the selfishness of my own guilt...[/shadow] His paws began their usual rhythm of the lonely march that they were all accustomed to Well done, young leader. I expect great things from you. [shadow=black,left,300]If any dogs here were to lead this great land to a utopia, it shall be you...[/shadow] Constantine had stumbled upon a gathering of all sorts of dogs surrounding a wounded wolf. A black and white Akita passed him by. He sat as another new comer spoke. The Molassian decided it was best to let others talk for now before he decided to ask what was going on. Constantine didn't even take time to think that this could have been a secret meeting or that he was being rude. His clear blue eyes happily gazed at one dog in particular, he was a slate gray with unusual blue markings. By his stance, Constantine knew that he was the leader of this assumed pack...

It was funny how one day, he'd think of how alone it was up here. And now, a plethora of dogs (and other canines) had showed up. At least they were all peaceful typed, the Beauceron would not want his currently small pack to be forced into battle so soon. While he and they would protect this place at all costs, senseless bloodshed was not his forte. Perhaps it was why he had been unable to fight in the pit. Though his breed was strong, he was of show dog blood and forced into a ring. Stark didn't like either bits of his past. It seemed to him that there was nothing more suitable than being an Alpha in the wild.
A brow would raise as he watched the new arrival wearing armor and carrying a sword of all things. Stark could think nothing except how he'd never seen that before, but let the unexpected visitor's appearance pass. After all, it was none of his business if one wished to wear collars or human clothes or ... well whatever. He nodded slightly towards him, but did not let his stance leave a leader's poise.
))xD ok. Fixed!((

A Great Pyrenees stood tall on the top of a hill that gave view of the legendary Futago Pass, his fur almost as white as the snow this season carried. A broad smile spread along his jowls as he thought of his grandfather, Hiro, and how he helped Weed against the feared Hougen. He breathed in the scent of the mountain before him. It made him feel refreshed and alive with energy as he started on the short trek toward Futago Pass. Perhaps... Yeah, why not? I could use a place to rest.
As he got closer, a group of dogs came in to view. "Oi, which one of you is the leader?" The words came out of his mouth in his usual deep, gravelly voice. He plopped down on his haunches next to the group. His eyes caught sight of the beaten wolf but he thought it would be best to give the wolf some space.

((Wow... this is a pretty long one... *shrugs* well enjoy ;D))
The two dogs listened intently to the dogs around them, the leader of the territory escpecially. Thoth had to make a double-take when he saw one of the dogs wearing a suit of armor. 'That is peculiar,' he thought to himself.
The sleek ibizian glanced at his companion and could see the whites of his eyes, something was upsetting him, perhaps the scent of the wolf's drying blood or the large crowd of dogs in the gathering. Whatever it was, he touched Tac's shoulder softly and made a subtle motion with his head. Without being sure if the Beauceron would see or not, he offered a slight nod as a farewell, so as not to completely sacrifice his manners and still get away from the group relatively unbothered. Quietly, the pair stalked away into the brush, heading deeper into the paradise.
"Don't fret Tac," he spoke calmly, "there is a place out there for us. Perhaps somewhere we could contribute and not merely live as freeloaders." His trotting pace was controlled to allow the Anatolian to keep at his shoulder where he was comfortable. "We can't help protect this beautiful place, but there's no doubt in me that that strong group will have no trouble doing so."
Silently, several yards away from the rest, a new pair of dogs arrived to join the group, curious to what was going on. From a distance, they were able to hear something about joining a pack. The black and white dog stood stock still and stone faced next to a large, brown, three-legged retriever with a friendly smile curved into his muzzle.
Aspen, the retriver, glanced over at his companion and nudged her with his shoulder. Echo, the border collie mix, let her body relax slightly when he touched her. Without turning her head, she looked back at him and her lips made a small smile back as she thought about how she had found her long lost friend not moments ago.
A black and white figure stalked through the grasses on the trail of something to eat. She froze as a hare entered her range of sight and her body tensed in anticipation. Slowly, the border collie mix creeped forward until she could see the breeze rustle the fur on its back, and crouched. Without hesitation, she darted forward, multicolored eyes locked on her target. Unfortunately, another figure shared her train of thought and she suddenly felt a great weight plow into her side, throwing her to the ground.
Echo lifted her head in time to see her would be meal scamper away, literally running for its life, though she could swear it was laughing at her about now. Her gaze narrowed as her head snapped in the direction of her apparently brown-haired assailent. Struggling to get to her feet after the wind had just been knocked out of her lungs, her voice was dry, yet sharp and aggitated. "What the hell were you thinking?! That was my hare, you don't just go around knocking into people." Yeah she was pissed, but mostly because when the stranger rammed into her it aggitated her shoulder and now it was throbbing.
Or at least she thought it was a stranger. The other dogs form tremored slightly and she could hear him chuckling under his breath, this didn't help her mood. "What is so God damn funny?" she asked in irritation. Slowly the brown dog lifted her head and her anger washed away, in fact she couldn't speak. The leg supporting her gave out and she stumbled, almost ending up back on the ground.
She fixated her gaze on the figure as if she were dreaming and if she looked away then he would be gone. It wasn't until she heard him remark, "You know you really need to watch that temper Echo," that she was able to find her voice. "Aspen..?" She still questioned what appeared to be in front of her, as the word came out in just above a whisper.
"I thought I would never see your face again Echo," Aspen shook his head, his eyes were smiling as they continued to meet Echo's bi-colored gaze. Echo could only stammer, "I.. Aspen... you.. you're dead..."
((Don't worry, the renunion won't be that long, I will clear it up in the next one))

Constantine spoke out loudly, "Speak up, Alpha! You have alot of dogs here that all want some answers!" He sat on his haunches, next to a great Pyreneses and a a pair of sight hounds to his left. All sorts of different sizes and colors of dogs were present and all were encirlced around a silent wounded wolf and the black and blue male. Everyone's all waiting for some fun, he thought to himself, Wonder when that male's gonna step into his role....

"Those who have questions, ask me directly. Those who wish to stay and hunt, and live, and fight, can. Ohu will not and never has refused anyone!" He stood tall and proud, looking down on the gathered dogs not as a tyrant but as an understanding leader. As he was about to state simply, in reply to the question of leaders, 'me', the odd stranger interrupted. "Ah, patience friend." He finally responded with a hint of mirth.
"I am Stark. Leader of Ohu. These are my pack thus far. Platoon Leader, Odysseus. His mate, dame Primrose. Platoon serving under Odysseus, Passion. And or other dame, Holly. Other platoons are elsewhere on patrol, though you can meet them at a later date. That is, if you wish to stay and call this place home. Otherwise, you may rest here as long as you need. As long as you are in Ohu territory we will do our best to make sure you are safe and comfortable. Just so long as you do not wish harm against anyone else, you are welcome."

And they kept rolling in. The dogs. Oh these damn dogs. Why so many? The ivory wolf wanted to growl, wanted to lash out. As many knew, Phoebus had a very unpredictable demeanor, which lead him to plenty of trouble. And this gathering of dogs was starting to bring out this demeanor.
The Silver Knight's ears perked as he heard the large dog with metal speak. A growl erupted from his throat, showing his "allie" that he did not accept what he had to say to the leader of this here pack. What did he think he was? That large tin-canned of a dog. He made a mental note of his aditude, remembering it came from such a dog. He turned his head toward Stark as he replied and talked once more. As much as Phoebus did not like to admit, he actually admired the leader's reaction to what he had said. He was cool, calm, and had humor! Something that the wolf lacked big time.
Once his little speech was over, Phoebus got up and dipped his snout lightly,"Stark, I dont have any question. Gonna leave and take a long nap" he spoke, finally releasing his raspy voice into the air,"And nobody better bother me" he threatened, looking at the others. With that he left

Constantine smiled at the alpha dog's response. I always like to see a good leader in action, and he seems to be the right kind of dog to be the sentinle of this land. Calm and a will to serve and protect others. A raggedly cropped ear twitched for a moment, thinking to himself; Hmmm... you know, I have been wandering about for a very long time. And my paws are getting a bit weary for the road. A wide grin spread accross his maw and his eyes closed in delight, That settles it then, I'll be resting here for a while!
A growl had sounded from the white blood covered wolf that all the dogs were centered around. He let the aggresive sound roll of his shiney metallic hide, this canine was obviously a friend of Stark, the alpha, so he's gotta be an alright guy.
Constantine inhaled a deep breath after the white wolf silently left, so as not to 'disturb' the fellow. De shook himself before saying "Good day to everyone! I, Constantine the Armored Knight, shall be taking my stay here, in the paradise Ohu. My services shall be to you, Stark, Alpha of Ohu." Another smile graced his broad face.
Two large tan colored paws streatched out before his massive body, "...And if you need me..." he turned his steel encased body toward the forested area, "I'll be by the nearest body of water, re-lax-ing!" And with that he began to hum to himself again and made his way to a nearby river.

The alpha nodded towards the wolf, before turning his gaze to the spitz mix, Holly. "Go with him. Make sure he gets some rest." With a hop to follow the wolf, the femme nodded. "Ok!" She would ensure that the injured male was not disturbed and take care of any injuries which needed tending. Though she could not fight, Stark made sure that everyone in his pack did something to earn their keep. It could be hunting, serving in the platoon, or taking care of the elderly, pups, or the hurt. "Then Ohu welcomes you, friend. Passion! Those who wish to move on shall be escorted by you. Odysseus, round up those two sisters. We're off on a hunt." After all, they'd gained a pack, and had many guests. It was time to feed them good meat and hospitality.

Aspen's ears perked forward at the mention of a hunt, it was one of his favorite activities. Limping a few steps forward, he approached the dog who called himself leader of this territory. "Excuse me, Sir, would you be in need of some extra bodies on this hunt? My companion and I would be happy to assist you and the rest of the pack," he gave his plumed tail a friendly wag and glanced behind him at the border collie.
Echo didn't say anything, simply nodded in agreement to Aspen's offer. Her gaze, however, followed the wolf as he stalked off to rest, to her the male seemed unstable, or at least grouchy, and she could feel the hair on the back of her neck bristle. The feeling subsided though as she once again turned her attention back to Aspen and thoughts of hunting.
"I.. Aspen... you.. you're dead..."
The statement made the retriever mix smirk playfully and look over himself, "I guess I'm in pretty good shape then, all things considering." Despite his three legs, the dog got up smoothly and approached her, reaching down to take the scruff of her neck in his gentle mouth to help her to her feet.
Once she was standing, went on to tell him about how he died, "Aspen, you fell of that cliff, Tyr threw you, there's no way you should be here now." There was a churning feeling in the pit of her stomach as she uttered her deceased half brother's name, he was dead for sure, she was positive of that.
Aspen just shook his head at her, "When I was falling, I didn't think I was going to survive," he paused, thinking about the near deadly drop he took and shuddered before continueing, "but somehow I did. I woke up washed up on some shore with my last memory being you hanging from that cliff and Tyr standing over you."
Oh how she hated hearing his name spoken outloud, she was just glad that he was rotting in hell now. "He is no longer a threat to me..." was all she said. As the words hung in the air, the two overheard a group of dogs somewhere nearby.
Aspen looked in the direction the voices were coming from, "Lets just lay the past to rest then..." He bagan limping in the direction of the pack and glanced over his shoulder at her, "Come on lets go see what's going on." Echo didn't reply, merely followed him to where the group was gathered around...
