The bright, blazing globe had been hidden hours ago on the lands of the militia. The large orbs of the night owl pierced the foggy, thick air. Rodents rustled silently as they tried to keep clear from the tracks of those larger than them.
A form appeared into the eerie scenery, strides short and quick. The silhouette had an air of aggression, dominance, and some sort of craft. Using it's powerful hind legs, it darted through the air and onto a large boulder. Tail located, rigidly, over it's back, and head held high. This was the beast's lair, its domain.
The dog squinted and opened it's mouth,"Welcome to the Sanguine Hollows." It spoke with a voice of that of a female. Yes, people, the boss of these, soon to be powerful lands, is a bitch. Literally and figuratively. "Those interested in joining, step forward, address your name and skill" demanded the she-devil with a strong tone.
"I am Hatshepsut, boss of these lands. However, each and every one of you must call me boss." Wasn't she cute?

Paws pressed deep into the damp earth, fog swirling around the muscular figure as he stood before a large boulder on which the so called leader of this area perched on. Orange eyes were closed as he listened to everything around him, taking in the steps of others as well as listening to her annoying cackling. A female as leader he thought with an inner sneer. It was ridiculous to hear and see a female hold herself as leader. There were very few who can pull off such an important mission, they being too emotional and caring to do what a leader had to do to survive. Yet from the way she held herself he can tell other she was very confident she can do this...or was very cocky and thus won't last long as pack leader. He would see for himself if she was a worthy leader or not.
At her command at joining Hades opened his eyes and was the first to step forward. "Hades" he said, voice raspy and low from obvious damage. He stared up at her without any fear, his stance rigid and confident, apparently unafraid of her or her status. "I don't need to state my skills." What he was capable of doing was either obvious to her or would be shown in the battlefield. Not standing around here where just saying it means nothing. He was fast, he was strong, and he had previous training as the scars on his body show. Each one telling their own story about his past. He was also not afraid to do what needed to be done, regardless of what others thought of it.
"If you're worthy" he said, pausing as there was much doubt in that she can pull that off, "then I'm worth having around."

((OoC:: Hey, does Joy still have to 'prover herself?'))
Cerule smirked, he always had a soft spot for the ladies. Males were always overly testosterone-ed. Way too hormonal for the calm blue Dane. The idea of females leading a pack didn't bother him at all. From what he could tell, dog packs are always led by the most willing to rip your throat out. And if in this case, the one most blood thirsty happen to be a female, well Cerule did not care in the least bit. He listened to her little speech, considering how he could specify his 'skills'.
The dog named Hades spoke. His body language spoke paragraphs of confidence that emphasized his claim that his skills did not need to be stated. And by the look of his large powerful body, he truly had some pretty legitimate beef backing up all that bark. Not that Cerule was a weakling himself.
His heavy light-blue paw sunk into the soft dirt. "Cerule." He said in his ever deep tone, "Your defensive muscle." He added with a smirk, "Boss lady." His regal stance was accentuated by his long legs, poised head and heavy chest. The blue Danes body seemed to stand protectively near the small pink and black female looming in his broad shadow.
Joy gazed at her precious friend, Why are we here, CC? There is something wrong here, don't you sense it? She stepped forward, "J-Joy." she manage to stutter out. "I can run fast and I can help others heal."

A female Doberman held herself with lean, rugged beauty. Her purple shaded eyes took in everything around her, automatically assessing threats and assets. Kana's muscles rippled under her short black and brown pelt. The small purple insignias on over her paws and one between her eyes seemed to glow against her dark fur. Kana took in the two males, Cerule and Hades, and the female, Joy.
Kana stepped forward boldly, her eyes dark and foreboding. She shouldered the males aside, placing her weight on one side and in a malice-dripping voice she spoke, "Kana... pro assassin and tracker." Her light frame and long legs proved her claim to tracking, as well as the dust currently stuck around her nose from finding the place they were all gathered. She parted her long jaws to reveal a set of needle sharp fangs, each glistening and blood tipped from earlier hunting.
Though she stood forward, bold and keen, she was usually secluded. When it came to joining a pack she knew you had to leap on the chance... and take down any in the way. She decided showing off her skills would at least get her accepted... seeing as the male, Hades, looked intimidating.

A small, fluffy figure stood up, a little nervous. The canid looked around, then finally announced: "I am Rexan. My skills are in stealth and slyness. I am a quick runner, and I would like to put my life into your use." The figure revealed himself to be, indeed, a fox. He had barbed wire around his neck and paw, and a tricky gleam in his eyes. Rexan had awaited this moment; the moment when he put himself into usage. He stood there, proud and tall, awaiting her judgment.

The tall, lean, handsomely elegant figure of a second Doberman stepped forward. A faint crunching sound could be heard as metal met the small stones on the ground and crushed them underneath synthetic pads. His sleek, shiny black coat easily showed off his muscular body and matched the starless night sky above the group. His mahogany brown eyes were cold yet playful, like a predator that doesn't mind toying with what it catches. They glanced over at Kana and winked, a smug smile splayed over his face.
"Fabius," he uttered nonchalantly in his deep voice, ((not any deeper than John's voice though)) "The best attack and guard dog of the Ash Hollow Testing Facility. I'm strong, fast, and I don't mind getting my paws dirty." The Dobe eyed the 'competition' and he smiled darkly displaying his teeth as he added, "And then there's this." He raised the bionic leg, displaying the razor sharp claws at the end of it, to show what he meant.
Fabius couldn't believe his luck, the rumor was turning out to be as good as he hoped. The thought made him excited. His broad, wedge shaped head was held high in pride. His smile went back to a simple smirk and his predator eyes remained the same, though now he stared up at the the boss bitch. He asked a question to show his willingness to follow under her leadership. "What are your commands, Boss?"

Thud ... thud .... thud. He plodded slowly along, there was no need to hurry. Time was plentiful these days, after all. The dane mix wasn't one to be impressed by much. All he saw were trees, trees, and more trees. Grass, rocks, dirt. He was a city dog by nature, and by nature, he didn't really care about nature. If it had been all up to him, he would have continued on his way, passing by this territory and on to other places. but the pup had insisted, she'd runoff on her own into the depths of the hollow and this left him to searching for her. Silly pup. Was he ever the same way?
Whatever.
Continuing on, a golden ear twitched at the sounds of barks and growls. Conversation. And the pup's scent followed all over the place. Great. The little mutt was going to get herself killed! He knew she used to be a pet but how many times had he told her that trespassing into the territories of other's was not easily forgiven? The dane had a bad feeling about this, but then again... Now that he thought about it, perhaps the pup had planned it all along. She was the one that wanted a pack even if the dane could care less. And she knew he'd give in eventually.
He listened in on the conversation his ears detected. The alpha which owned these grounds seemed to be looking to add other ranks. Boost still didn't really care about being in a pack himself, he'd never had much contact with other dogs until recently. One thing he did know though, was that the pup would jump in at any minute. And she'd probably get them both into trouble.
So it was with a sigh and the trek of heavy paws that he meandered into the edge of the ground. His body was somewhat thicker in built than a full blooded great dane, it was obvious that he was some sort of mix. But his shadow black coat kept him somewhat enigmatic among the treeline. When it grew more silent he replied with a voice rough from disuse, his words simple. "Boost. I endure." His gaze drifted as he kept an eye out for the hapless pup to stumble in at any moment.
))I had a different entry post in mind but got tired of waiting on Karma to be approved. xD So here you go.((

A Boxer was the very first dog to make it's self known. He was a normal sized, blue brindled male who seemed to carry some sort of negative vibe within himself. The female, being up on a boulder, could see why having such a dog on the pack to be beneficiary, seeing as he had muscle on him and signs of a fighter.
"Hades[/s] spoke he, in a raspy voice. Dont speak much she observed, predicting that he probably used more of his body than his voice. Her large eyes narrowed a fraction, as he stood quite dominant and rigid, as if not to properly address her. She lowered her head, to get a better look at him, lips pulling to reveal the sharp tips of her canines.
Is that so, mutt? she thought with a quick sneer to her face. Apparently, the male thought he was better than her. This made her flash her teeth in a mocking smirk. How could an individual be so stupid as to not respect an alpha in her own turf? Oh, was she going to make this dog pay, but not right now. She had others to look at.
The next to introduce himself was a tall, blue Dane. By the looks of him, he seemed to respect her and have a gentle air to him, without being mushy. Hatshepsut, flashed "Cerule" and kind smile as she nodded at his remarks. Her ruby orbs than shifted towards the smaller female who stood by his side. Good, we need some speed she thought as she nodded to address the fae.
A dark figure shouldered the males aside, making her self known. She went by the name of Kana, and by the looks of her, she seemed to know what she was doing. "Assassin? though it came out as a question, it was obvious that the alphess was impress. Again Hat cracked upon a smile, to only see a dark, small figure coming into the light. Oh, wow she thought in sweet surprised. She never, in a million years, thought that a fox would be willing to roam with rabid like dogs. This, she was looking forward to.
"Good, that's what I like to hear" replied Anima to Rexan after he said he would put his life in her hands. Her gaze shifted to wards the soar boxer, grimacing at him once again. He would have to learn to respect her tremendously or become Macabre Militia's very first exile. Hmm an exile the shepherd thought with a malice look in her face. Oh the possibilities.
The alert ex cop sharply turned her head at the clicking sound she heard not too far away. It was another Doberman Pinscher, but this one only had three official legs. Her red orbs glistened as she saw his fourth, metallic leg. Hatshepsut's tail began to sway from behind her right before he had introduced himself. Hmm Fabius pondered the boss, trying to think if she'd ever heard such a name. Oh well, she liked him, nonetheless.
Thinking that was all the dogs that showed up this night, the female began to get ready to speak. "Welcome, once again, to Sanguine Hollows. The land of the blood" Hat took a pause, just to examine each of the dogs' expressions, right before a smell of another dog entered her nares.
A black and yellow dog finally made it's way toward the group of soon to be pack members and spoke his name and position Boost. I endure[/s]
Hey, the female had to admit, that was a new one. Though not too flashy like the other's, the bitch had a good feeling with this one.
"Alright, I've already know where each of you will start out as" announced Hatshepsut, stance standing rigidly on the large boulder. "I for one, am a strong believer of proving one self to progress in the hierarchy. With that said, everyone but Hades will start out as a Dame and Gent" she spoke. Her eyes were gleaming and the evil smirk that she had earlier plastered on her face was know there again as she watched her only omega. "You, Hades, will be omega until you prove your worth." The male just got the taste of his own medicine.

More then expected made themselves known here. Some looked promising members and others looked as if they would die on their first ever true battle. It didn't matter to Hades since it wasn't his job to keep any of them alive. You either could save yourself or at least die trying. While everyone was busy with the introductions he waited patiently until they were all done to see what the alpha's next move would be. But when it seemed like it was over there was one left, another dane, to run into the seen. Like the other dane he looked somewhat young but all members of the breed were large. Still, size only got you so far but he looked more promising then the blue one in his opinion.
Finally it seemed that would be all that would make an appearance tonight and the alpha would be able to make her decision. Not surprisingly, at least to him, she gave those around him a position while giving him the lowest position there was. One would normally be outraged and try to strike at the alpha and he'd be lying if he didn't say it didn't bother him a little. But on the contrary to what most in his position would probably do he merely smirked and gave a nod. "Whatever you think is best" he said in his raspy voice. "You are the alpha." Whether that was a sign of respect or not would be for her to decide. He had to admit that it was pretty gutsy to do that to him but he did like being given the task of proving something. So this kind of turned out for the best when you think about it the right way. Besides, just cause he was given the omega rank did not mean he was going to act like one.
Unlike the others he wasn't going to kiss up or roll over for their alpha just cause she carried the title. Put their life into her hands? Without even seeing yet if she was worth it? Never. He will follow her, he will obey certain commands, hunt and fight, whatever. But until the day he sees her with his own eyes doing something that sparks true loyalty from him that these others are foolishly giving up like eager puppies...she will not be a true alpha to him.
"Like yourself I approve of proving oneself in a pack, especially those in high positions. Like the alpha so excuse me if I don't pant and wag my tail by your mere presence." He sat down calmly yet kept his orange eyes on his leader both as a small sign of some respect but also to let her know that he meant what he said. This is not him wanting to take over but she could very well be taking all his signs as that. He could care less about ruling a pack so there was no threat of overuling from him. All he wanted, was to see her in action. "But just cause one calls themselves an alpha doesn't mean they are one. You asked us what our skills would be without giving any of your own."
Hades stood up and shook himself as a thought ran in his head. "Better yet, why don't you show us why giving our lives to you is worth it." By 'us' of course he was talking about himself since the others didn't care whether or not she was worth it to give their lives up. "That's not too much for an alpha now is it? You prove yourself, I'll prove myself." Sounded like a reasonable deal to him but the alpha could refuse of course. Why wait till later? But as he spoke he stared at her with a serious expression. This was not a joke, he wasn't mocking her when he said that, this was serious. Body wasn't tense yet wasn't relaxed and he felt almost anxious at the prospect that she might actually do it. If by some miracle she actually pulled it off...a different attitude towards her will be shown. And once again he'll have a purpose even if he was at the bottom of the ladder. You had to start somewhere right?
((Omega? Interesting. Can't say he didn't deserve it in a way though XD hope she agrees though. It'd be so much fun to see how they both prove themselves to one another =D and it'd make things easier if he wasn't always questioning her moves for the future lol might even get a better rank once they're on the same page, hopefully anyways))

Cerule was glad to hear that everything was working over rather smoothly. Joy was accepted despite her dainty appearance. It was the best new he had gotten in a very long time. His blue eyes looked down at her, brown eyes stared back with apprehension. He would have nuzzled all her worries away, however he was in a pack setting, and by the looks of all the other members, you have to show your strength or perish.
The raspy voiced Hades had the Omega position, while everyone else held the higher Gent and Dame positions. The orange eyed male voiced his opinion. Although he was making a good point to everyone, he was making a mistake in challenging Hatshepsut, the ruler of this territory. He's going about it in an all too quick manner. It's still too early in the game to go around mouthing off and say that your speaking for 'us.' Sure has got some guts, I'll give him that. Cerule thought, Wonder how the Boss is gonna handle this?
Joy did not like the confrontation that was bubbling to the surface. Many of the dogs were very dominant, exuding auras of aggressiveness. The names of all the other dogs. Do I have to remember all this? The pink collie began to remember CC's promise. He said he would protect her. He said that joining a pack meant security, for life. Food and safety, a place to lay your head down and sleep. What about being a pet to humans? Is that not the same thing?. The look in his deep blue eyes, how could she refuse him. Her head started to hurt. A dull throbbing behind her brown eyes. No... Not now, please. I need to be strong. I want to be with Cerule. She managed to steady herself, rising on her black paws alongside Cerule. Suddenly the air seemed to change, she shivered slightly...
The mist was thick, making it difficult to see two figures traveling through the fog. One a solid gray with twin black streaks running down a pain of vacant white eyes. Her head held high as her dark paws traveled the moist earth. She was staring straight ahead, thats the way it seemed at least. You couldn't really tell since there were no pupils.
Her companion was a dark red male, his head was low as opposed to hers, much more closer to the ground. A sick green tongue was out, lolling in the air. His large white fangs glistend from the moisture in the air. The dark red hound's pitch black eyes surveyed the scene. Guess we're a little late to the party. I hate talking infront of such numbers. Pain watched a large one with a raspy voice speak. Trouble in paradise? Either way, I am going to have to introduce us. Wouldn't want the pack leader to be angry with a couple of tresspassers...
Pain found the boss of these lands on a boulder, her tail was held high as her head surveyed the others below. Thats the leader, alright. Female? Heh, wasn't expecting that... His white paws stopped in their tracks. With Sorrow close behind him, glancing at each of the dogs before looking off into the distant mist. "This must be the gathering to be in the pack, I take?" Pain didn't want to seem rude, he knew he needed to be deft in a situation like this. His dark eyes watched the leader, and no one else...

Kana smirked as the fellow female's face was crossed with suprise. Assassins, she guessed, weren't to common anymore. Most dogs now were hefty fighters or blinding runners. Many dogs never had the focus it took to be an assassin, the ability to lock on the target while senses are wide. Her paws prickled at the questioning word from Hat.
Her eyes flicked to Hades, "What daft dog threatens a queen on her throne? I'd advise you not to looked down on a dog for being a female." Kana twitched an ear and waited through the rest of Hat's talking and watched as two late comers showed up.
Next to be set on by her gaze was Fabius... she had noticed that wink and wasn't about to let it get to his head. She wasn't the type to flirt or let things like that pass by unpunished... she would deal with her fellow doberman later and put him in his place. Her purple hued orbs traced back to her new boss.

Consideration etched the mind of yet another lurker to the misty scene; of decision, not manners. It had been far too long since the current dame had found a decent pack to catch wind of, at least since that ramshackle 'pack' the black monster had taken her pups to. Oh but he had been an attractable brute, aggressive, large, a good candidate for the kemono-inu bloodline. It was a shame Chiyoko hadn't sought him out after that last meeting, he would have made good pups, and better soldiers than her previous litter. She supposed her mind had gotten away from her, but the decision to really join hadn't quite become apparent for her just yet.
Besides, the brute female, a bone-i-fied mutt of the large breeds, wasn't in any hurry to cut her freedom short. The months without Daichi and Manabu constantly at her side had been relaxing, but it was missing something. Perhaps the only attachment she would ever have with a pack was the sheer purpose she got out of it, for lazy days did get quite boring. That, and Chiyoko was down right tired of pussy-footing around other's territories as if she cared enough to respect it. Really, it was just a hassle, and would it not be better to have a territory to lounge in without getting any fuss from its residents?
She supposed that because of these reasons and others, her mind was made up. There came a grunt from her throat as the behemoth lurched herself forward from her haunches and rose to the full height of her paws. The alphaess had already begun speaking, as did others who had shown up for this exact reason, but Chiyoko ambled forward nonetheless. Besides, two others had shown up nonchalantly not long before, so it wasn't like she was breaking the mold just yet. Not only was Chiyoko as tall as a fair portion of the group already assembled, her body and limbs ballooned into a firm roundness that while even hidden under her shaggy coat was apparent to any who happened to look upon her. One would be, after having the attributes of Tibetan mastiff, saint Bernard, and countless other large breeds within their line. The kemono-inu had just perfected it.
When the brute female had ever so laxly made her way close enough to the assembled gents and dames, as they had been declared, to be heard and seen by the alpha she paused to simply stand. Chiyoko's heavy frame held itself evenly upon her large paws, although her muscles seemed to be relaxed as she bothered not to address any of the others before formally introducing herself to the one in charge. "Chiyoko, of the kemono-inu bloodline, I specialize in protection." If the alpha wished to hear more, then she would explain the term, but Chiyoko had thought it best to leave it open ended and free to translate as the other female wished. However it was all the same, Chiyoko could stand her ground against attacks to keep enemies away from their targets, a sort of personal bodyguard if you will.
Sure, she had shouldered her way past a conversation between the current omega and a few other members, but in all likelihood Chiyo didn't like waiting, nor was she prone to having a dame's hesitant nature and 'waiting for the proper time'. As she awaited a response, her oddly triangular ears pricked to detect the answer, while her fluffed tail took a more feminine arch despite her body's obvious fierceness in the way she so disconnectedly stood while in contrast to the overly confident dogs. There was no need for Chiyoko to be alert when her teeth were more than capable of latching themselves onto the neck of an attacker. Most assuredly, making the mistake to get close enough for something like that would spell their downfall when it came to the behemoth female.((Note: This is what she means by kemono-inu: Record book ))

Rexan was filled with relief when he heard that he had been accepted. Yes! He thought happily. Then, he turned his head to the reddish dog who had just arrived. Hm, he would be a great addition, I think. But that shall never be my decision, only Boss's. He pondered. Then, Rexan, feeling his anxiety around such huge dogs, wanted to back up to the entrance. But he had a feeling that it might degrade his appearance. So, instead, he sat down.
He looked around, then was startled to see Chiyoko. She's so big! he thought. Are there any small dogs here at all? Then, Rexan shook it off. There was NO backing out, not that he ever wanted to. Rexan intended to stay for the rest of his life, as long as Boss wanted him.
