Bandit watched as Toshi began to understand what his faults were in his thieving. They were not as bad as they could have been, and should improve with time, if Toshi lived that long. Bandit knew that Toshi had things he still had to learn. Bandit kept his eyes locked on the crowd, searching for the dog which seemed to have an authority around here. Where had he gone? Bandit's ears were kept fixed on everything, as his one remaining eye moved with the feet of the crowd, keeping a look-out for the dog. He had to be ready to escape, or ready to fight, if the dog appeared.
"What's next? But I think...I'm sure that the other dog you saw will be back. He needs to be taught that this isn't his city...nothing but a dumb bully who can't do much for himself."
Bandit's ears flicked in Toshi's direction, showing that he had heard the younger dog, and was now thinking of a way to reply. "To be taught? Kid, thieves are not fighters." Bandit turned his head to look at Toshi, "as much as we would like too, we cannot become to wounded or else we will die. If it had not been for my owner when I lost my eye, I wouldn't be standing here now. The only way we could defeat him is by evading and tricking him. A bully can't very hurt what he can't catch, now can he?" Bandit had to make his point clear to Toshi. He was not a fighting dog, he was not built, nor trained to fight. He was trained to thieve, and built for speed. He was not the dog which would take over the city by killing the opponent, in fact this city was no longer his true home, but he missed coming here. Missed ruling the streets and the fear on the humans' faces. The Desert which he lived with the Ebisu pack grew to lonely for Bandit. How could he have pride, in something which he could not demonstrate to others? What good was having his skill, his mastery when he was in the middle of nowhere?
However, Bandit knew that Toshi had his heart set on getting revenge on this dog. "If you truly think that you could take him on and win, go on ahead. A dog like him could easily break one of my legs." Bandit turned to the dagger he had stuck in the wall, and he now pulled it out, holding it in his jaws. He was not the most experienced with them, but he knew generally, how to use them. "Which is why you need to learn to have a fast reaction time." Bandit then flung the dagger at Toshi, not trying to wound him, but trying to test his reaction time. The faster he dodged it, the better.
