“So, is this the thanks I get for saving your ass? After all, you know good and well you couldn’t have killed it without me," Zehel said, earning a huff of air from Tzila. Okay, so she had messed up... but she didn't ask for his help. It was a... voluntary thing.
“Don’t worry though, This wont be your first kill out here, once I’m done with you, you’ll be able to take down one of those on your own,” he continued, breaking Tzila's thoughts. She blinked up at him, tilting her head as he let out a smile. Take down one of these herself? Well, that was all fine and dandy, but she didn't belong out in the wild. What use would knowing how to kill a boar be if she was going to go back to Tokyo anyway?
I mean, she did have a reputation to keep.
Finally, the scents Tzila had picked up on the wind came into view. Five wolf hybrids, from what Tzila could tell. Thankfully though, they didn't seem to be looking to steal her food: "Do you know anything about a young she-wolf named Lyca?"
With an unwavering, cold voice, Zehel responded, “We have not seen anything of the sort, nor have we heard of her. We too are just travelers, on our way through these icy parts.”
Tzila sat down, lifting one skeptical eyebrow at Zehel, who was tensing up.
"Yo ninja boy, they said they were passing through. I don't think they're going to leap out and attack us. Relax. It's one of those things you gotta learn to do on the streets, otherwise the stress would kill you," she said nonchalantly, bringing up a paw and wiping some blood off her muzzle. She continued in an indifferent tone, staring down at her claws like a cat, "That is, unless they want to fight."
She put her paw down, her non-caring attitude vanishing as she gazed icily at the five hybrids, "I don't know of a Lyca either."
[OOC: Lyca, a good way to know if you should post is if your character or characters are being addressed by someone else, but if you JUST posted, wait for another person to respond first. That's how I do it.]

Oh fun fun. This boy had yet to be discovered by the others, but with the way the wind kept shifting, he knew it would not be long. Either way though, he was not here to fight nor eat. With the pack, he would not eat with them, usually going out and catching something small or a fish if he had the taste for it. Such a sad possibility. He knew things were unwanted right here and now, should he go ahead and press on? Oh yes he would, maybe after the others were gone and the two down there had their fill before he confronted them in a friendly chat or something to the liking. The words ninja-dog and a few others kept passing his ears, what a strange day this was. Passing by a group of half starved maneaters, who tried to force him to join their group, instead he just tricked them into doing somehing else as he stayed behind and continued on his way. Then he comes across these two fighting a boar and lo and behold a pack of brothers come by and try to ask questions before long. Funny how Mew was sitting in quite plain sight and yet had not been addressed while the five made themselves quite known by allowing their other inheritance like his own to befall on the dogs nose. Of course you could be scented right off the bat. No one could mistake a wolf hybrid for a normal dog unless it was a Hikoku Inu. Now those are annoying dogs.
"Do you know anything about a young she-wolf named Lyca?" One of them asked, his head tilting to the side, though it had not been directed at him. He was one who did not rely on names much anymore to remember who you were. He was obviously much older than any of these dogs but that would not stop him from being able to bring most of them down. He had proven that just because he was old it does not mean he was helpless. He had proven that to Mugen when she helped him take the creature down. Even if she had not been there, he would have taken it down and feasted on it flesh while it was still on its dying breath.

"Yo ninja boy, they said they were passing through. I don't think they're going to leap out and attack us. Relax. It's one of those things you gotta learn to do on the streets, otherwise the stress would kill you,"
Zehel laid his ears back and turned his head to look at Tzila. She thought he was going to attack? He had no plans of attacking; he would rather avoid another fight if at all possible. She obviously didn’t know how he functioned, the way his mind worked – always be alert and ready, no matter when, where or what’s going on. Even if he was in the most peaceful of places, Zehel would still be high strung.
Not that it was entirely his fault.
No.
His past certainly didn’t help with that.
Besides, when would he ever go to the streets? He had a clan to keep up, not to mention more assassinations. His job out here was never done. Even if he were to go into the city, he was sure he’d do relatively fine… not that it mattered. Snorting softly, he closed his eyes “I had no plans of attacking… Rather, preferring to always be ready for anything. Rule number One of the wild, street dog.” He opened his eyes, growing tired of calling her street dog, “You got yourself a name? I’d rather call you that than Street dog.”
To his surprise, his blue eyes saw something else, something that he didn’t expect behind Tzila.
Another dog.
He knew he smelled something earlier, and the scent wasn’t as far away as he had fist thought. Oh? Who’s this now? He silently wondered how long the dog had been there, for whomever it was seemed to have no plans of attacking or stealing from them… not that he cared. I’ll deal with that one in a bit… for now… He turned his attention back to the hybrids as Tzila addressed them as well with an icy gaze. God, and she tells ME to relax.

Zin bowed his head to the dogs."I'm sorry that we troubled you.i suppose we'll have to continue."Zin told his brothers. --------------- Basa sighed in annoience. He wanted to know why they left in the first place. It made no sence to him at first when he was only a pup even though he was a year old he acted like an old adult.Zin looked back at him."Stop your sighing Basa!Warriors like us have no need to sigh no matter how annoying things get.Now straighten up and keep on your toes.I know you miss Lyca,we all do,but for now our main goal is to get back home and help her grow up to be a strong warrior just like us.Show her that you've changed Basa from a weak pup to a strong pup!"Zin barked at Basa who flattened his ear against his head.He knew Zin was right but he was also tired of Zin always telling him how to do things."Yes big brother."[/color]Basa said in almost a whisper to Zin.[/tt]

“You got yourself a name? I’d rather call you that than Street Dog.”
"Aw, but I kind of liked the name Street Dog," Tzila whined sarcastically, flicking an ear.
However before Tzila continued, Zin bowed his head to them and said, "I'm sorry that we troubled you. I suppose we'll have to continue."
Tzila watched as the five brothers collected themselves before turning to address Zehel's question. Should she tell him her real name? Or her street title? Did it matter out here in the wild? Probably not. She would not be here for long she supposed, and highly doubted she would be seeing much of Zehel again once she returned home.
Too bad, she thought rather solemnly. He's amusing. Doubt I'd be able to convince a serious personality like him to come to a city. Plus... he's not right for the job I have in mind. He's too... uptight....
"My name is Tzila," she said at last. "Though that's not my title. They call me The Shadow Of Shibuya back home. What about you ninja dog? You've gotta have a better name then what I've been calling you...."
She trailed off as the winds changed and a new scent washed over her. She'd noticed Zehel glance behind them for a moment beforehand, but hadn't really thought upon it. Now it was clearly obvious someone else had been watching them.
"More company?" Tzila sighed, standing up and turning around. "Well, you may as well join the party bub. There's no point in staying hidden over there."

Hiding? Who is hiding here? We certainly are not.She better get that right or next time I'll take over your body and... "Oh hush you. Obviously she had yet to see us and realize we had been here the whole time. Besides i find this confrontation... amusing somehow. What with upon arrival getting a show.. but you are right, she needs to learn to be more alert if she plans to stay out here any longer.." His thoughts trailed off as she called him bub. "Great, so now I'm being called a pet name." He grinned in the utmost sarcastic way. No, he was perfectly fine where he was sitting and having a good sight of them all made him feel better. At least for now he would not have to watch his back.
Grumbling a bit, he layed down and sighed as he continued to watch. "Nye. I like the show from right here. Besides, none of this stuff concerns me." His head turned at just the right angle to show the scars that often cracked and the ones along his neck where the bear had gotten him when he was last with Mugen. Hell, he might as well force her home with him if all he could think about were times when they had been trying to find their way out of here. Ears pinned back at a thought as he turned his head away from the group. He hated that he allowed someone to grow on him, it was completely unlike his nature. This really put him in the gutter now. What better luck than to be moping about trying to find another who more than likely did not give rats tail about someone. Afterall, she did act rather surprised that he was even part wolf. It never surprised him how others reacted to his breeding.

Zehel watched as Zin bowed his head, feeling himself relax, growing slightly curious about the five brothers. Curiosity wasn’t a good thing for Zehel, but when it began to rise, he couldn’t quiet it down. damnit… he growled at himself, sitting down. “Good luck on your quest.” He spoke, once again in an emotionless tone. Despite his seemingly cold demeanor, he was sincere with his words as he too knew what it was like to have someone you care greatly about to suddenly be lost.
"My name is Tzila,"
His ears rose again, somehow he had completely forgotten that he was in company. Turning his head to Tzila, he nodded softly, repeating the name, “Tzila…” She continued on, but he barely caught what she had said, as he was still lost in his thoughts. This was wrong… no, this was bad. He couldn’t, wasn’t allowed to get this lost in his mind, it made his guard and façade flail like a fish out of water. “Shadow of Shibuya, eh?” His curious tone seeped out with his words, and he mentally kicked himself for that one, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME TODAY? He shook his head softly.
“What about you ninja dog? You've gotta have a better name then what I've been calling you...."
He rose his head to look at her, trying to recover his façade as his thoughts faded away, “Zehel.” He stated. Standing up, he made his way over to the boar and sniffed at it before looking up to her once again, “Kuroshi” He finished, stating his alias as well. This was the closest he had become to any dog in a long while and he was beginning to wonder if he would regret this.
Zehel turned his attention to the other dog, still standing far away as he turned his own head. Battle scars. His face grew serious in thought, “Come on over, we wont attack.” He was really trying his best to be friendly and social, as he normally wasn’t – with the exception of his clan back home. He smirked suddenly, thinking of a way to possibly toy with his newfound ‘friend’, “Perhaps we can shove queen of the kill off over here and you can have a bite too.”

“Zehel," he answered as he took a sniff at the boar Tzila had killed rather ungracefully. “Kuroshi” he continued, stating his alias, just as she herself had done. Tzila's attention shifted however, when Zehel addressed the stranger watching from not too far away: “Come on over, we wont attack....Perhaps we can shove queen of the kill off over here and you can have a bite too.”
Tzila snorted, "Keep that up and I won't let you eat anything either Zehel."
She smirked outwardly at her comeback, but inwardly wondered why talking to this dog seemed so easy. Everything seemed to fall naturally into place with him. And you saw it yourself Tzila. He was strong enough to push over that boar. He might be the person you need to get your job done....
Fatigue suddenly washed over Tzila, breaking her thoughts completely as her stomach twisted with hunger. Tzila looked over at the bloody mess of a pig, her tongue lolling out in anticipation. Still, it was much too big for just her. Perhaps Zehel did have a point. It was no big deal to share her kill.
"I suppose sharing wouldn't hurt, but I totally call the first bite," Tzila finally concluded. Without another word the female dug into the meat, tearing off a rather big chunk for herself and scarfing it down in a matter of seconds. The warm taste of blood and flesh quieted her snarling stomach, but she knew one bite would not be enough to satisfy its rage.
"Not too bad," Tzila muttered. "But... cooked meat definitely tastes better. Ya haven't lived till you've tried a steak with all the right spices. I don't like humans, believe me, but they know how to cook. Well then, what are you two bozos waiting for? Take a bite... before I change my mind."

Having another talk to him, this was also surprising. However, it pulled his thoughts away from something that had been bugging him for weeks on end. It had been sometime since they had walked through this place, but that did not mean he missed her as soon as they split, but it gradually happened. And for some odd and puzzling reason, that feeling of wanting her back grew worse after having joined the pack of savagery he had always longed to stay away from.
Wolves nary made good company, and as far as he could tell, those others were only half. Unlike them, Musou took on more of his fathers appearance than his mothers, but his blood and everything else about him gave out the true nature of the wolf. He was older than the others around here, but he was not a cripple and slow by any means. He was old enough that he should have been in a home being loved on, instead he was still out here, hunting, gathering more battle scars and becoming even more of an unlovable creature. He was course, cruel, he even ate others dog if he went too long without eating. But these ones did not know any of it. He was only here for a short while before he would go off on his own way.
As the female now known as Tzila, the Shadow of Shibuya, started eating, she also seemed to have invited the male who spoke too, Zehel, and himself to eat with her. He sat up and stretched a little, but he hesitated. His ears were put back as he thought for a minute. Perhaps he should. It would be a while before he would find himself another meal. That is if another dog comes in his path at that point. Stomach growling slightly, he slowly inched towards the carcass. Honestly, he had never though about eating a boar before. With Musou it was either bears or something else that the others would not even challenge to bring down. He had brought many down on his own and it would not be the last one from back then. Slowly, the older hybrid came close to the carcass, sniffing at it and pulling out some of the coarse fur in the area he wanted. After clearly the hair rather well, he bit down and ripped the back shoulder off of it. He wolfed that down and began to dig into the tender muscles the boar had previously used in the fight.

Zehel looked at Tzila, slightly amused. I'd like to see you try and stop me he laughed inwardly, and suddenly, Zehel felt insecure of himself. He had never acted this openly before, and it worried him more now than before. Looking down at the dead boar, the steady stream of blood falling from the creatures neck caught his eye. He ran his tongue over his fangs as the taste of the blood flooded his senses once again. When was the last time he had eaten? Seeing as he couldn't remember, he figured he should eat at least a little of the kill.
With a small huff, Zehel stood himself up and padded closer to the boar, sniffing at its bloody neck. It had been awhile since something had smelled this good to him. He opened his maw to take a bite and paused as the other dog finally came closer. Closing his maw, he looked at him, studying him as he tore into the boar himself. "Do you have a name, stranger?"
"But... cooked meat definitely tastes better. Ya haven't lived till you've tried a steak with all the right spices. I don't like humans, believe me, but they know how to cook"
He looked back up at Tzila, who was also tearing into the boar. Laying his ears back, he snorted, "Cooked meat? That sounds rather distasteful..." Though, he had never had cooked meat, he had smelled it as he passed through the small neighborhoods now and then. He did have to admit, sometimes, it did smell rather good. But, scents could be rather deceiving.
Moving his head back down once again, he finally tore into the neck, pulling away the skin. Licking the blood off of his muzzle, he began to eat, careful to keep any stray blood or bits of meat off of his paws.

It was somewhere between a half choke and a half cough as he stammered on a piece of meat he was trying to get down before the question was directed towards him. Finally getting it down, the hybrid licked his maw mostly clean, wiping the rest of it off on his already dirty paws and finally looked at Zehel from over the back of the boar. He had to watch and study the other before he finally raised an eyebrow, curious now as to why they would even be interested in him. Then again, both of them were sharing a meal they both took down. The male probably thought it only fair since everyone before had given a name and yet he had not.
Musou must admit that he was getting bad about that, however, it was time he should start getting back into the groove of things. "My name is Musou.." He spoke quietly, sitting down instead of immediately starting in on the meat. cooked meat did not sound very good nor did he want to try and taste it again. He had been around humans, but for reasons of his own, he would rather kill and feed off them then eat from the palm of those hands that tried to kill him.

"Cooked meat? That sounds rather distasteful..." Zehel responded. Tzila snorted in response, backing off from the kill to clean her fur off and make herself at least somewhat presentable. She watched Zehel eat the food rather carefully, rolling her eyes at how serious he seemed to be. Eventually, Zehel asked Musou what his name was to which the dog nearly had a choking fit.
Tzila smirked, somewhat amused at the response.
"My name is Musou.." He spoke quietly, sitting down instead of immediately starting in on the meat.
The air went silent, and Tzila grew board extremely quickly, "You guys ain't talkers. Too serious for your own good. Neither of you would last on the streets. Sure, I get that the wild has its dangers, but when you're dealing with a bunch of street wise animals and humans, you can't afford to let stress get to you, or you'd be stiff as a board."
Tzila stopped and sat back on her haunches, bringing her tail around her front paws again. A breeze rustled her midnight fur, bringing a wave of scents from where she had come. Absentmindedly, The Shadow Of Shibuya stared in the direction of Tokyo. She wanted to go home... a longing so strong that she couldn't describe it.
But she could not.
Tzila quickly snapped out of her trance, and got to her four. She briefly looked at the two males before padding away without a word. She stopped underneath a tree, staring at the top branches for a moment. It didn't take long for Tzila to decide that she was going to go on a little climbing expedition again, and so within a few quick seconds, the street dog had made her way to the tallest branch that could support her weight.
Again, she stared out over the mountainside towards the city.
"Mark my words, I'll return," she muttered to herself. "The Shadow Of Shibuya will never give into the will of you street rats."

"My name is Musou.."
Zehel looked at the other as he spoke, his voice quiet. Musou seemed to be as on edge as he was, which didn’t seem too surprising, but it also made him wonder. What had the dog gone through to make him like that? He wouldn’t think that something like him would have had a hard past, but then again, nobody could be judged by how they looked, or acted for that matter.
His hard blue eyes focused in on the spot he was eating on as he sat himself down. Everyone here seemed to be so uncomfortable, like they were all outcasts of canine society. Zehel didn’t doubt this. He knew that besides his Clan back home, most dogs avoided him, whether the reason be for his aura, his attitude, his size or looks – it didn’t matter. Sometimes, as much as he hated to admit it, it bothered him.
He wasn’t a bad dog, he could be rather gently and carefree if he wished so, but past happenings and life had made him the way he was. Steeling himself as he drug a paw through the snow - creating a small ditch, Zehel snorted softly. Who cared what others thought of him, who cared what he looked like, or how strange he may look to others, he was damn proud of himself, and he liked the way he was.
Snapping himself from his thoughts, Zehel watched as the blood from the boar flowed down the snow to pool in the “ditch” he had made, the thick red liquid gaining a milky look to it. He looked up at the sound of claws against bark and he tensed. With a growl, he looked around before seeing Tzila climbing the tree. Part of him wondered what she could be looking out to when he realized that Tokyo was in the direction she gazed. So, Tokyo is her city, hmm?
Relaxing, Zehel stood up and allowed himself to stretch, biting back a yawn as he did so, his tail curling over his back. With paws outstretched forward, he cleared his throat. ”So, what happens now?”
