It was strangely warm and beautiful for a winter day. The sun was peaking over the mountain tops and sending bright rays of light to the ground, coaxing out animals from their prolonged sleep they liked to call hibernation. The scene was truly one of beauty to behold; the famous Dog's Paradise mounted against a bright blue, clear, winter sky....
And of course, the one dog in the world who wouldn't care less was walking around on this fine day. White Tiger, better known to some as "The Son of Rage and Love", was making his way slowly but steadily to Gin's famous territory. It was in his nature to explore, and learn new things, as well as lend a helping paw here and there. He was thirsty for new adventure, new rivals, and new friends.
And so the Coydog padded along the snow happily, mumbling an upbeat tune to himself. It made no difference to him if someone was watching him. He'd be able to sense it anyway, with his special ability. In fact, his entire journey through the Ohu had been with a blindfold, for training purposes.
Of course, this also completely obscured the beauty of the mountains from his view. Bat's Mind Eye only painted an outline of the scenery, not a full picture.
Really, what a shame....
In any case, Tiger would remain blissfully ignorant to nature's gifts to the world as he continued on his way to Gajou. Thoughts of the olden days of Ohu wandered through the young dog's mind: what if he were alive back then? If he had been in that fight, he would have been just as big a hero as Gin himself! Or, he would have tried.
You know, Tiger thought to himself. I think I'm a lot like Gin. Or maybe Weed. I wonder if I would have been able to take down someone as mighty as Akakabuto or Hougen though....
The thought of him in the place of one of the famous leaders got his blood boiling. Tiger was excited beyond all measure now! His paws were itching for him to get there already. The time for leisure was over, he was going to RUN the rest of the way!
"Gajou here I come!" Tiger yowled, taking off at top speed towards the direction he thought was correct. Unfortunately, in all his excitement, he was not paying attention to what was to the side of him. Suddenly, a figure shot out in front of him, and the Coydog was unable to stop himself in time as he crashed into the poor creature, and the two of them went tumbling down the snow rather comically.
Tiger found his footing on the ice at the last second, and leapt up, only to land and skid several feet away from the dog he crashed into. Unfortunately, the fall had pulled the infamous bandanna off Tiger's head, revealing the grotesque scar over his left eye. Immediately, the coyote hybrid panicked. Whoever this dog was was going to run off immediately looking at such a horrible disfiguration: Where his eye once was was an empty socket, stained by blood. The scar itself was a clear sign of a weapon, or claws sharper then knives. It was so fine cut -- clearly done on purpose -- in the shape of a Bio-Hazard sign. No fur grew over it, leaving it a stale pinkish-grey color that stood out more then his midnight stripes. The whole set up made it all the more disgusting and horrifying to look at. Surely, whoever this dog was would run off....
And so, Tiger did the first thing that came to his mind: he ducked his head into the snow, knowing he looked completely ridiculous....

'...Hot...hot...hot...'
Sunlight beat down heavily on the small dog as he trudged onwards, wishing that whatever idiot had created thickly furred animals with enough hair to shed all the way across the mountains would die a horrible, horrible flaming death of doom. Though it should've been icy cold (it WAS winter after all; winter + snow = COLD usually), it was much warmer than it had been for the past few months. Ras supposed it must be the first few signs of spring. Hibernating animals would be awakening soon, flowers would burst in bloom, and, once again, the dog would be on the verge of just collapsing on the ground and wishing he'd die of heat stroke already.
'Heat...I hate heat. Winter's the only time of year that's actually suitable for a husky in this bloody country.' Red furred ears twitching slightly, the dog heaved a sigh and sat down in the lightening snow patch. He brought his hind leg up again as usual to claw at the blasted collar; so far, it'd been the twentieth time this morning in his attempts to tear the contraption from his neck. So far, it was also the twentieth time that same morning he'd gone without any success. As usual, of course. Sometimes he had to pause and wonder if the stupid thing would ever come off before it choked the last bit of life out of him some day. 'Of all the shameful things a human could bestow upon a dog, it had to be given to me. A collar. And one that gets SMALLER, too. JEEZ.'
Obviously Ras had yet to realize it was not because the collar itself grew smaller, but that he grew larger...but his increasing denial in being the cause of the problem aside, the canine shook his head quickly and stood up again. If there was one good thing about being in this place, the one that dogs had come to call 'Paradise', it was the scenery. The mountains reached to the heavens, barely even visible among the clouds; the trees stood out against the white of the frost and snow, and though their branches were still bare due to the natural order of things (meaning, winter made all their leaves fall off for some weird reason Ras didn't care enough to understand), the trees held some sort of beauty among them.
Had the dog had an ounce of appreciate for art in his veins, he would have stopped again to admire the view. But nope, this was of course Ras, who put his own goals ahead of his admiration in beauty. And right now, the main thought driving him onwards was the thought of finally reaching Gajou. Sassafras ran a paw over the snow, anticipation welling up in his body. Gajou, a place of legends. Supposedly two great leaders of Ohu, Riki and Gin, had rose up there to fight a demonic bear known as Akakabuto, or 'Red Helmet'. They'd led hundreds of dogs from all over Japan to fight, and to take back the land that had been theirs....and they had. The surviving leader Gin had stood up and howled with the rest of the pack to honor the dead and the future, and as the story went, Gin led the troops to lead even more adventures, each more deadly and dangerous than the last.
The tale of Gin and his father made Ras's spirits rise in excitement.
Ohu was a place where legends were born. It was truly a paradise for dog kind...and he was sure as heck going to see it. Ras grinned slightly and took a rather ungraceful step forward...and immediately was send flying through the air.
"GYAH," he barked shrilly as the snow gave out under his weight, causing him to slide uncontrollably down the path. Ras's paws groped desperately for something to catch onto, but with his luck, there was nothing except sheer ice. This was not extremely helpful in his situation. So, instead, the dog continued to slide with increasing speed until his paws hit firm ground...only to be knocked back another few feet when his karma once again hit him like a truck. Only instead of being in the form of a truck, it was another animal, similar in height to Ras.
Ras was thrown head first into the snowdrift nearby. With a gasp, he thrust himself out and fell back on his rump, shaking flecks of snow from his head. "OI," he snapped, turning his oddly colored eyes to the mutt that had hit him. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THA--" Ras broke off, blinking slowly as he took in the sight before him.
A dog had apparently crashed into him....and weirdly enough, it had then decided ducking its head into the snow would be a good idea. '..The hell?'
"Um...may I ask what the hell you think stuffing your face with snow will accomplish?"
(sorry for the extreme crappiness of this post lol ><)

Tiger gave a muffled response from under the snow, wondering if the dog he crashed into would even understand his pathetic attempt to explain himself. At first he thought about saying he was stuck, but it sounded as though Ras had seen him stick his face into the ground.
How embarrassing, the coydog thought to himself as he contemplated what to do. Was it worth it to bring his head up and scare the small dog before him? Or should he continue to look like an idiot and keep his head underground? Maybe, if Ras was nice, he could help him find his bandanna and agree not to look while he figured out how to get it back over his mutilated eye.
Tiger shifted so that the right side of his face was visible to Ras -- his un-scarred side. The dog before him seemed to be well suited for the kind of weather they'd been having lately, but at the same time, looked extremely uncomfortable and hot. Strange. Tiger thought it was quite pleasant today.... or it had been before he crashed into the poor mutt before him. Now White Tiger was a bit stumped.
"Uh," he started, his voice still slightly muffled by the snow. He closed his good eye for a moment, letting his unique ability scan the area around him. The bandanna was off to the side. "C-can you do me a favor? See that red cloth? Can you bring it to me...? And then, once you do, can you... not look while I put it back on? Believe me, if you saw the other side of my face, you'd be glad I stuffed my head into the snow."
Tiger attempted to hide the fact that he was thoroughly self-conscious in this situation, but his fur was fluffed out like a nervous cat. Maybe... maybe it would have been better to just let Ras get terrified....

Ras stared down at the coydog, confusion mixed with clear amusement etched upon his face. The right side of Tiger's face was the only part visible; the rest of the dog's muzzle was pushed against the snow, hiding whatever secret the young dog had on his left side. His curiosity only grew when the dog mumbled "C-can you do me a favor? See that red cloth? Can you bring it to me...? And then, once you do, can you... not look while I put it back on? Believe me, if you saw the other side of my face, you'd be glad I stuffed my head into the snow."
What's this dog got to hide? A face is a face no matter what; still a face regardless, albeit it may be a damn ugly one. Still..just simple ugliness wouldn't get anyone this worked up about losing a bandanna. Ras frowned and tilted his head, wondering why anyone would be so bothered by a bit of a facial problem. He supposed Tiger had an extremely terrible looking left side of face...but was he scared of showing himself out of embarrassment or, as the dog's words implied, was he afraid of scaring Ras with whatever the heck was on his face?
Must be one hell of a scar, Sassafras mused. Tiger had asked him to retrieve the bandanna to save himself of further discomfort; however, it was not in Ras's nature to abide to requests just like that. More over, he was much more interested in the secret on the coydog's face. So, as to be predicted by the oh so predictable husky, the reply poor Tiger only got was a grunt of: "I'm not exactly partial to taking requests. Get it yourself. You have legs on that body of yours, don't you? Or are those sticks with a crap load of fur stuck to them to resemble legs?"
The small dog turned and padded over to where the bandanna lay in the snow. He stamped a front paw on top of it to hold it down, ears laying flatter and flatter to his head as the seconds ticked by. His red white fur crawled as though ants were climbing up his back; somehow, Ras figured that whatever he saw on the left side of Tiger's face would be something that would disgust him, possibly even to the point of total revulsion. Too late to turn back now though, he thought, flicking his tail to rest over his paws. Might as well see it through. Better than going the whole way to Ohu with no excitement whatsoever anyways.
Sassafras's eyes narrowed. "C'mon," he barked, shaking his head from side to side. "Don't you want it back? It's just a few pawsteps away."

"I'm not exactly partial to taking requests. Get it yourself. You have legs on that body of yours, don't you? Or are those sticks with a crap load of fur stuck to them to resemble legs?"
At hearing that, Tiger let out a snarl, his pearl colored teeth sending a warning to Ras. Tiger would show him just how well his legs did work. He was a prodigy, or, he had been told so by many a dog older then him. He was faster then a Kai-ken, and stronger then your average canine. This cocky fuzzball had no advantage over him.
Sassafras walked over to Tiger's bandanna, putting a strong foothold over it. "C'mon," he barked, shaking his head from side to side. "Don't you want it back? It's just a few pawsteps away."
"You should know better then to start something with me," Tiger muttered back. "I could kill you with my eyes closed." And the fact was, Tiger could easily fight with his eyes closed. Ras didn't have to know that he had a unique ability at his disposal though. Either way, now that the coydog was enraged, Ras was not getting away from him without at least the scare of his lifetime.
He glared at the dog before him for a few moments, wondering if Ras would back down or if he was really going to fight. It seemed that the husky had no intentions of moving.
Well, Tiger had warned him....
And it was much too late to turn back now. With that thought in mind, White Tiger closed his eyes, and leapt up out of the snow with ease, dashing forward; Ras attempted to move out of the way, bandanna in his maw, but Tiger used his Mind's Eye technique to predict what direction the husky would go, and quickly tripped the canine from under his paws, sending him sliding across the ice once again. Unfortunately, this didn't make Sassafras drop Tiger's prized piece of clothing....
Tiger waited for Ras to regain his footing before turning so that his entire face, scar and all, was in full view of the husky. Against the mountainside of Ohu, White Tiger might have looked like a battle-scarred soldier, but the thought never crossed his mind once as he snarled at the dog before him, "Give me back my bandanna. Now."

The small husky's ears twitched with uneasiness. Tiger had had an air of carefreeness, if somewhat embarrassment, before Ras had refused him the bandanna. Now that Ras had picked up the cloth in his maw and sat defiantly in front of the dog, sharp rage seemed to come off Tiger in heated waves. 'Seriously, why is he this worked up over a stupid thing like this? It's not like the world will crash and burn if I take it from him for a few moments.'
"You should know better than to start something with me. I could kill you with my eyes closed." Irritation made his temple twitch. 'Kill me with his eyes closed eh? Modesty sure isn't in your vocabulary, is it?' Of course, Sassafras completely disregarded the fact that if anyone could go by the title of 'arrogant prick', it was him. But hey, some dogs are just too thick to realize the beings they consider lowlifes could beat the shit out of them on a mere whim.
"Oi oi oi, don't go talking about yourself that way," Ras snorted and picked himself up from the snow. "A dog like me dying at the paw of someone too cowardly to even show their face? Who do you think you--HOLY--" One second Tiger had been squashing the left side of his face to the ground, simply glaring up at the husky with complete dislike. The next, the dog was speeding towards him with eyes shut tight.
"Aw damn!" Ras pushed off with his hind legs to the right, hoping to dodge the blind Tiger. Unfortunately, it didn't seem as if lack of sight was a problem to the white coydog. Ras felt Tiger's paws hit his legs quickly and the next moment he was flung to the icy ground.
SMASH.
And once again, Ras hit the snowdrift headfirst and was left trying to claw his way out. Amazingly enough, he had managed to hold onto the bandanna without having his teeth knocked out. Still, in the span of five minutes he had crashed into a the same bloody snow twice. Now was not the time to feel accomplished for a little red cloth.
"BWARGH." Ras dug himself out of the snow and fell back on the ice. Jumping to his paws hastily (and nearly dropping the bandanna in the process), the husky turned back to Tiger. "ALRIGHT, THAT DOES IT. NO ONE SMASHES ME INTO THE DAMN SNOW TWICE. TWICE! AND OVER A STUPID PIECE OF--" The dog stopped. Finally, he was able to see Tiger fully. Left side of face and all.
And that left side of face by was no means pretty.
Tiger's left eye was completely gouged out; in its place, an oddly shaped scar stood out. It was so precisely cut that Ras had no doubt that a human had inflicted such a wound on the poor dog. The pink and gray skin looked like it was staling as no fur had, or would ever, grow over the injury. Ras had only one word to describe the hideous scar: Grotesque. Grotesque in both appearance and how someone had been sick enough to carve a sign into the side of an animal's face.
'He wasn't kidding when he said I'd wish I hadn't seen it.' Disgust bubbled up in Ras's stomach. How could someone do that to an animal? And a dog at that? Supposedly 'man's best friend'? It was all too wrong. Still..who had given Tiger the scar? A human obviously, but did it serve some sort of purpose? Throughout Ras's memory, he had never seen anything like it. 'Would this dog know what it is?
Interest and curiosity quickly overtook Ras's revulsion. Eyes blinking slowly, he barely caught Tiger's command. Instead, the first words to tumble out of his mouth were "Where did you get that scar? Actually, what the heck is it? Some sort of human marking? Were you a lab rat or something for those flat faces?" Ras threw the bandanna over to Tiger's feet. His interest always overpowered his blunt rudeness, and this was no exception. The small husky had a thirst for knowledge and no way would he pass up an opportunity to learn about the mysterious sign that haunted Tiger's face.
"What's your name by the way? Mine's Ras."

Tiger was ready to lash out at Ras once again, but was completely taken off guard when the husky spoke up: "Where did you get that scar? Actually, what the heck is it? Some sort of human marking? Were you a lab rat or something for those flat faces?"
At that, Ras threw Tiger's bandanna to his paws, leaving the coydog to try and absorb everything that had just happened. He shook his head to break out of his trance after a few moments though, and reached down to pick up his prized cloth. After a few awkward moments of struggling, the bandanna rested upon his head once again, covering the horrid scar that normally would scare away even the toughest of males. But.... not this clumsy husky in front of him. Why?
"What's your name by the way? Mine's Ras."
Tiger blinked, wondering what changed the mood so suddenly, but was mostly perplexed at why the dog known as Ras wasn't running for the hills. Still, he was obligated to answer, "I'm White Tiger. Tiger for short. And..." he trailed off, lifting his head and tail up high with pride, "I've also been called The Son of Rage and Love."
Though most dogs would question what sort of idiot would be proud of such a strange title, Tiger really didn't give a damn. He was just more happy that Ras had not run away from him. And of course, it was only then that the weight of all of the husky's questions hit him like an anvil. Tiger seemed to deflate, his tail drooping at the memory of his scar.
"I used to live on the streets," Tiger said simply. "Humans are cruel creatures. One such human left this thing on me. I don't know what it means. My alpha, however, seemed to know, and sent me away after looking at my face. That's when I first got this bandanna. It's the last thing I own from my old life."
Tiger sighed and looked up at the sky. The sun was still out, but overhead, dark looming clouds were threatening a storm. Tonight would be a blizzard, which only meant things would be more difficult then ever for the young coydog. Still... perhaps he could convince this Ras figure to join him. He seemed just as curious as Tiger about the scar on his face anyway....
"I'm traveling through Japan in the hopes that I will find a wise dog that can tell me what kind of thing this scar is supposed to be. That and to find a new pack," Tiger finished, bringing his head down to look at Tiger. Idly, his mind wandered to thinking about if he would ever even have a mate due to his horrible disfiguration. The thought was shaken off quickly though, because Tiger was not one to linger on sad thoughts. Instead, the other question buzzing its way around his mind made his way to his maw, "Why did you not run away from me? No dog has ever stuck around after looking at my face."

Thup, thup, thup, thup. His tail swayed from side to side. Ippan, platoon leader of Ohu, had been watching the little exchange. One good eye turned towards the mutts, he almost laughed. Everyone with a scar on their face thought it was so much worse than any one else's. What was with dogs these days? They all wanted to act like heroes but acted like pups instead.
Ippan gave a sniff; his tail stopped waving. Witnessing the whole ordeal from his hiding spot in a cave of snow (yes he had dug it out himself as a matter of fact), he finally decided to announce his presence. Unlike others, he did not hide his marred face, the missing eye and torn ear predominant from past injury. Who cared? Vanity was such a human thing.
Climbing from his cave, shaking his fur, the Hiro ancestor leapt down from the snow drift. He landed evenly, avoiding the patches of ice so he would not skid. After all, no decedent of Ohu heroes should fall face first to the ice. It would be embarrassing! Ippan dared not show any disgrace and sully his family's great name.
”Hey, you two!” He called out, putting on his best general's voice. ”Have some respect! You're in Ohu. Don't act like a bunch of spoiler pups.” A huff, and he tilted his one good eye towards the duo. ”You're being addressed by Platoon Leader, and you'll call be as such. Now … what ar you doing in Gajou ?”

”Hey, you two!” a voice called out, snapping Tiger's attention away from the strange dog known as Ras. A canine came trotting towards them, the air of authority clear in his demeanor. Tiger tilted his head, wondering why he had not sensed him before. His Mind's Eye should have kept him attentive. ”Have some respect! You're in Ohu. Don't act like a bunch of spoiler pups.” The dog let out a huff, and he tilted his one good eye towards the duo. ”You're being addressed by Platoon Leader, and you'll call be as such. Now … what are you doing in Gajou ?”
Tiger's tail twitched in annoyance, but he knew better then to talk back to a Ohu Platoon Leader, especially when he was hoping to join up with them... well, maybe. It was all relying on his gut feeling in the end. Still, the egotistical pup's judgment was a bit crooked at his need to out-due everyone else. "You're a Platoon Leader?" he asked skeptically. "If that's true, you'll have to prove it. I may not be the oldest or wisest dog on the block, but you don't look strong enough to be part of the legendary Ohu. Once again, I bet I could beat you with my eyes closed...."
Tiger glanced over at Ras, letting out a smirk of absolute confidence. Little did he know that Ippan was actually the real deal, and could probably wipe the floor with him if he was caught unprepared... and well... Tiger certainly was not prepared to fight an Ohu Warrior. At least, not yet.

Taweret an akita x huskey mix walked through the snow, her white underbelly, under tail, socks, and cheeks.Black stripes on tail, legs,a big black mark on her face with two marks on each side of her mussel, her back in black. She has orange fur that fits her muscles extremly well. Her left eye is blue and her right is grey, though her grey eye has two scars that long old for she had occured them when she young.
As she walked through the snow, she soon her the sound of other canines talking, and in hopes of meeting an Ohu Soldier, with out knowing it ran in the direction of the talking others.
She ran and now stood facing three males. One a large male, the air of authority surrounded this male. One of the other males wore a red bandanna on his head, though he did not resymbol a warrior of Ohu,something told Taweret that he was well skilled in fighting. The last male was a huskey with red ears, this male seemed to be a little arrogant to the female huskey mix.
Taweret took a deep breath and dipped head in respect to the platoon leader."Are you one of the platoon leaders of Ohu?"Anxious to know the male's answer, the huskey mix step forward so that she stood infront of the platoon leader and the other males.

A laugh. The mutt wanted him to prove who he was? He'd regret it. Half face or no, he was still a soldier. He was heir of Rika and Hiro! "Cocky for a half bred, no?" Though Ippan was not familiar with coyotes, he knew of wolves. And the scent was close enough. Half dog half wolf mutts seemed a new plague running amok through Japan these days. Ippan raised a paw. "I could squish you to the dirt with one paw. Don't be so hasty pup."
His humor faded however. "If you're here to join the pack. I'm not the alpha. But I am in command in his stead. If you're here trying to claim Ohu. You got another thing coming. Do you really wanna try me?" He was serious, he would fell the kid in one blow if he thought he was so bad.
Before either of them could initiate a combative state, a female showed up from the trails. Ippan twitched an ear in the direction of her approach, turning his good eye towards her as well. "Indeed! There are three platoons in Ohu. I am Leader of Platoon J."

Ras glanced at the white and black striped dog known as Tiger. Or, as he'd so quaintly put it, 'The Son of Rage and Love.' He'd bitten back a snicker at the absurd nickname; for once, curiosity for the strange scar had held his tongue. He'd even sat through the dog's tale and questions without complaint. However, the final question caught him off guard. 'Why did you not run away from me?'
Well, there were numerous ways he could reply to that. To have a good hold on information could be one; Ras was far too immersed in his random daily findings that he'd become obsessed with finding out knowledge and data. The scar that had found itself on Tiger's unfortunate face was simply to interesting to just let it be to Ras's mind. However, he figured it wouldn't go over well if he said that he only wanted to be near the dog because of his disfigurement. So Ras went with plan B. Make up a bunch of bull, make it sound intelligent, and be on his merry way.
Half opening his maw to respond, Ras quickly shut it as he heard a loud, bellowing bark sound "Hey, you two!" He turned sharply to see what only could be an aging war veteran. One of the dog's ears had been torn, and his eye was missing, yet the dog still carried himself with a sense of dignity. Which really only infuriated Ras more. Especially when he was told to 'respect' such an annoying 'Platoon Leader'. 'Blegh. Give a dog some power and they're acting as if they're king of the world. Who the hell does he think he is? Or, rather, who the hell does he think I am?'
Temple twitching, Ras opened his jaws again to make some witty retort--only to be interrupted. Again. This time by Tiger. And his...challenge. Ras blinked slowly as this cocky mutt threatened to beat the Ohu soldier to the ground with his eyes closed. He was absolutely certain Tiger was crazy. This certainty only grew when he glanced over at him, smirking as if the fight was already won.
He nearly felt like covering his eyes with his paw so he wouldn't have to watch the stupidity go on.
The bubbling irritation that threatened to burst from his skull nearly exploded as yet another interruption found its way to the little pack of misfits. A little husky mix, from the looks of her. However, just because she was descended from the same breed as himself didn't ease the rage snarling inside.
Biting his tongue so hard he tasted blood, Ras waited until the larger dog had responded to her and Tiger. He had no doubt that the older dog could crush Tiger, despite the young mutt's speed and strength. Ras wasn't going to tell the others that (much less the platoon leader) though. Heaving an overdrawn out sigh, he flicked his ears down to rest on his head and clawed at irksome collar with his hind leg.
"Oi oi, who cares if it's Ohu or some other part of this stupid world? Why should I give respect to someone I've never met? Just because you tell me I should isn't a very convincing argument. For all I know, you might not even be an Ohu soldier. Just some old hag pretending to be one so they'll feel better when gullible mutts find their way here. Really, if you're an Ohu soldier, won't you be so kind as to prove it? Where's your big strong army?"
Deep in his mind, Sassafras already knew his plan to take them to the inner part of Ohu without a fight would probably backfire. Still, there was no harm in trying. Or, at least, no harm to himself. Ras didn't particularly care if Tiger or the female husky mix got harmed. He'd just do what he'd always do when the trouble was too bad for its worth : get out of danger's way and leave the baggage behind.

"Who cares?!" The scarred warrior all but snapped at the impudent husky. Did these dogs not know the glory of Ohu's past? Unthinkable! All but bristling, the akita mix took a breath. Exhaling a sigh, he stood tall. "Other than the extensive history of heroes and warriors for generations and generations..." His voice went wistful as he thought of his own bloodline. Would Hiro be proud of his grandson?
But his thoughts were shaken with a snort. "The Alpha of the Reborn Ohu welcomes and shelters all who may need aid. No villainy shall ever harm the pack. And anyone who tries to intrude upon Ohu with dark intent shall be swiftly dealt with. His tone darkened as he glanced down to the two rebellious youths. "I'll be making sure you ain't up to no funny business."
Truth be told the pack was quiet ... small, right now. That coupled with the leader currently being away helping another smaller pack, and him taking two of their warriors with him, made the situation a bit more dire. Ippan must keep Ohu safe in the leader's absence! Of course he could not just tell these two to come back another day. Revealing the alpha to be away from his lands was invitation enough for evil hounds to try and nose in on the territory. That simply could not be. "You think an entire pack would abandon their duties just to come see you?" A laugh. "Don't worry, I'm more than enough and then some for dealing with you pups."

Taweret stared at the huskey male who had spoken so rudely towards a paltoon leader of Ohu.Though Taweret did not know if it was true she was going to join Ohu no matter what.
The female akita mix looked at the paltoon leader with admiration in her eyes."Sir,are there any positions open in your paltoon or the other two?"Taweret did not care what the other males thought. Both were rude and disrespectful to the male that stood before them. The female warrior dipped her head...waiting for an answer from the male.
She had heard many tales of Ohu and the heros and warriors that lived in Ohu.Of all things in her life, being accepted into this pack would mean the world to her, though she dare not show it. Taweret stayed in her bowing position, not moving a muscle and not caring who saw.Her determination and pride was what drove her to do the things that she did and nothing that anyone said would change that.

He looked down at the akita female, is gaze softening. Now that, that was more like it. At least she knew how to show some respect! He puffed out his chest with pride, before assuming a relaxed seated position. It was usually not up to him to invite new pack members, that was the alpha's job. But he had taken it upon himself to act in Stark's stead. So.. "Hmmm."
An idea came to him. He could kill two birds with one stone this way! After all, there was no use for a dog in a platoon if they were not capable of combat. "To be part of a platoon you need some combat skill. Otherwise you'll just get hurt. If you can't handle that you can help take care of pups and the injured or sick."
But the idea! Yes. Shaking his head, he stood, and took a few paces back. "If you want to join my platoon, you have to prove you can fight! And those fellas seem raring for me to prove I can fight. So we'll make your test to join Ohu's J Platoon my proof too. You can handle that, right miss?
