The white and silver wolf looked at Goldie as she spoke and asked him a question. Phoebus, in reality, hated others' help. He just hated to thank someone for their duty of help, but as much as he hated it; this dog did help out. "Thanks" he simply replied, voice very raspy due to the obvious abondment of it. Phoeb was a man of action and not of words, which is why he had "tons" of friends. Heh, yeah right.
Snout muscle wrinkled as he saw the orange dog's reaction to something. What the hell? he thought, seeing her run off somewhere. Should he follow? Or should he go on his way? Honestly, as much as his pride wanted him to leave these dogs, his brain and instincts told him to stay. So he turned his attention to the blue dog, once more and asked,"What's with her?"

Goldie smiled at the mystery dogs response. Ah, so he's the 'Strong Silent' type.... I love males, they're always just so... "You're welcome," she said in a pleasant voice, "Do you have a name, sir?" The hybrid lifted her head off the ground and looked at him with twin yellow eyes, "Mine is Goldie..."
It had been a while since her chest had been acting up like that. It only happens when she was pushing herself too hard. I should be okay.... I just gotta rest for a bit. Her mood changed and became more worried, ...The thing is that... This kind of thing has been happening more often... Could my chest be getting worst?... I am under alot more stress than usual... Her gaze drifted off to the surrounding trees. They stood erect and never changing, silent sentinels that watch and never act. Is that why those demon dogs have been coming around more?... Will.... it be my time soon?...
The sound of the other dog's voice snapped her out of her trance, "Huh?" And boy was he right, Goldie didn't even notice the small pup run off. "Oh... no..." The dark blue hound struggled to get to her feet as though she were on ten foot stilts.
Her legs gave out and she fell onto a heap on the ground. "Dammit...." Goldie cursed her self for not being rested enough to even rise to her own four paws...
Cerule stared at the pup before him. A shocked expression took his face over. Why... Was all he could think. The Dane began to think about Joy. The way she seemed to accept every one. She casted aside anything bad and always sought the goodness found in every dog. ... Just like the dog standing right in front of him..
Anger and rage filled his body as he stared at the innocence and kindness of the tiny pup before him, "What are you doing?" he said in a rumbling voice, like the onset of thunder. "These are dangerous lands and you go up to every dog you see with a smile?! Fool!!" It wasn't that he was truly mad at the young dog, it was that seeing her brought on unwanted memories of the death of a dearly beloved dog. He bared his teeth at her, "Should I show you a lesson in.... FEAR?!" His voice rising to a fevered pitch as his usual blue eyes turned red, shadow seemed to twist and distort around him as he began to look more and more like a demon...

Fu was slightly surprised at the dane's reaction, but it wasn't anything she hadn't seen before. She usually got strange reactions out of other dogs. "Well, you don't seem that dangerous to me," she barked, not the least be threatened by the larger dog. Why did she have to worry? Its not like he would ever be able to catch up to pup; that thought made a smile appear on Fu's muzzle. Though, not as big of as the smile that appeared when Cerule began to look demon-like. "Your like those red-eyed doggies. Oh, are you maybe, not you can't be..." She knew that this dog couldn't be one of the demon dogs; he lacked the aura that those others held.
Her eyes watched him with interest for a few moments before she grew bored. With a bored expression she began to look around; "Have you met one of those red-eyed doggies? I want to meet one, but they always disappear before I get close enough." She called over her shoulder to the blue dane, it would be great if he had met one. Maybe he could even tell her how to get close enough to one.
