Jishin hid a small smirk when Clancy thought that he was talking to him. Defiantly a strange one, that's for sure, he though with an inward nod. Either that or really out of it. I mean really, did the husky think that Jishin wouldn't remember his name. That was almost an insult to the pit bull. He could remember names, he had remembered his when he's forgotten everything else. He just put on a show that he had the average memory, pretending that he didn't get names that fast.
He let himself smile sightly when Goldie hadn't really thought of a place, but that smile faded when she let the husky choose where they went. Where's he going to take us? The slaughter house? Jishin thought bitterly, still not trusting Clancy a bit. "Yes, what do you have in mind Clancy?" he asked with a small smile placed on his maw. There, that was done perfectly. No one would know that its just a little facade.

"Well, not exactly sure..." she grinned, "But I'll let you know when I think of something!"
Clancy felt a tiny bit better, but remebering something his brother had said, about how all females made you feel good, made the husky feel like hiccuping. He turned his head towerds Jinshin, trying to not make eye contact with Goldie. He felt his paw gently shape circles in the gorund, an old habit he got when reciaving a lecture from anyone. It was a way to block out everything. Of course it didn't stop selected hearing.
"Sorry about that. What did you have in mind? Your choice."
"Oh" was all Clancy could think to say.
"Yes, what do you have in mind Clancy?"
The red husky held down a hiccup, though not relizing he smiled instead when Jinshin had also asked. Clancy knew the perfect place. It one direction you would end up it the city of kai, the other direction a small pond, and between them was the moutain swamped in smells of a old pack, now deserted. Yet none of these were the places he wanted to take the two. No, it was much better then all of them combined.
"Ok....how...how do you think...I mean feel about seeing the caverns"
He smiled. Just thinking of the place gave Clancy goosebumps.
"It's really pretty" and he was very right. Near the moutains, one of the caves lead into a maze of tunnles. But the best part was, that if you new the way, you would see the stalagmite. Beutiful rock formations, and deeper down something Clancy wanted to surprise the two with. Getting up, not relizing some of his fur was forced to stay behind due to the dried blood gluring it too the ground, and totally paying no attention to his little "Meal" Clancy pointed his head in the direction were he wanted to go.
"It....it is now very far" tail still under his belly, he hopes they would accept.

Goldie grinned at Jinshin's smile, though slightly coerced. Maybe it's cuz there's still an awkward tension in the air. the hound reasoned. "Pretty caverns, you say? Aren't those like caves." she chuckled, "Either way, I can say for sure I've never been to a place like that."
She looked to the two male dog's, each one individually. Jinshin the rather silent pit bull and the very cute Clancy, a red husky. The two companions that she will soon be traveling with. "I don't mind a small walk, how about you Jinshin?"
"Lead the way, Clancy!" her tail wagged with sudden excitement. This is gonna be great- I just know it!

The pit was surprised that the husky had mentioned going to a cavern; though he didn't show it. "That sounds like a very good idea, Clancy." Jinished barked. This should be interesting, I don't think I'd ever been to one of those before... Though he really didn't know what a cavern was, but he did know what caves were and he had always fround them rather intriguing.
"Yes, please lead the way," he sound much kinder then he had a few moments ago, his distrust in the husky suddenly dampened by his interest in the caverns.

Though he didn't want to smile too much, for fear of looking stupid more then he did, the husky tried to hide his enthusiasm. It had been a few weeks since he himself had traveled down to the cave, winding his way down to the secrets it held deep below. Just thinking of it made his spine tinge a bit.
"Pretty caverns, you say? Aren't those like caves,Either way, I can say for sure I've never been to a place like that."
A quick thought back towards what was called the "Science Channel", Clancy nodded his head at the question, and confirmation that the female was willing.
"Yes. Ca..Caves and Caver....ns could be...be.. be considered that same thing. Caverns ju...ju...just are more like big tunnels...tho..though the mountain"
He sighed. It had been such a long time since he had a conversation with something of his own species. Squirrels were cute but it was questionable weather they understood a thing Clancy said.
"I don't mind a small walk, how about you Jinshin?"
Clancy glanced towards the pit-bull. Before he hadn't really looked at this other male, but now really thinking about it, it reminded him of something he had heard once about them. It was common in the kennels back in Vermont for the radio to be on, all the other dogs howling to the music. Of course there was the one time, a talk host came on. Talked a lot about fighting dogs, and about a fighting ring bust down in New York. Clancy didn't quite understand what it meant but looking at Jinshin, thats what he reminded him of.
"That sounds like a very good idea, Clancy."
Clancy's smile broaden, the geeky embarrassment draining out of him, returning to were it came from. Two who seemd willing to follow him. How long had it been since another dog stayed longer then a few minutes to "chat"
"Yes, please lead the way,"
The defining ring of the bell, or at least that what it seemed like to the husky. He yipped in excitement, but quickly shut his mouth out. That was uncalled for he thought.
"Ok Then...Jus...Just Follow me" Getting up fully, the dry clumps of blood havening tuned the color of mud, and if not for the smell/scene some could have mistaken it for that, Clancy stretched his sore bones out. He always seemed to be more tired lately. Completing not noticing, one of his paws left a small trail of blood as he walked. His breakfast was no more then that. Clancy passed forward, stepping on the cats small, almost unrecognizable skull, a delicate crushing sound emitting out.
"Be careful, ther....there are boars arou...around" With that he rounded a tree, motioning the other to travel in the path he was setting.

Goldie pondred. Wow he sure is smart... I wonder how he learned all of that? "Cool..." his sentence was a bit scattered and difficult to follow, but it wasn't a task at all for the blue dog. Her mind was quick to adapt to his particular way of speaking.I wonder if one were to consider that an accent? She was really begining to like this male, he was so easygoing and excitable. Goldie began to wonder his age, He acts like a cute little puppy! The shortened yip that sounded from his mouth seemed to cement her thoughts.
The only thing that contradicted her innocent thoughts of him was the mutilated body of the cat. The bood had quickly been drying at a rapid pace, it was nearly dry. A small skull crushed asunder his paw, a muffled sound followed. Goldie decided to ignore it. I can defend myself... if the need arises, that is... And this Clancy fellow, well.. He seems really nice... So long as you keep on his good side at least. The mix had knoticed many of the unspoken rule among dogs. One of them being to never look another in the eyes. I guess I'll just have to watch my step around this fellow... She carefully began to follow him and turned to say, "C'mon, Jinshin! You don't want to be the last one there, do ya?" she teased him.

As Jishin watched the husky stand to lead the way, all of his doubt and mistrust for the dog resurfaced. He's covered in dry blood, what an eye sore he is, the pit though, narrowing his blue eyes ever so slightly. But that wasn't the only dark though he had about Clancy, no, more were surfacing every second he watched the male. All he is, is a murderer, his thoughts growled, pounding the thought throughout his skull.
But at the wolf-dog's call, he preceded with his little bit of deception; "I'm coming." Then he started to follow after the two, though he increased his pace until he was next to Goldie. She seems to look past all his flaws, he looked at the female out of the corner of his eye; then focused on the path ahead. After a moment of silence, Jishin broke it with a question; "So Clancy, have you ever entered these caverns?"
