A young bull mastiff began to wander the land lookng for dogs that he could force under his rule with the group he had or they could join without harm and be a loyal pack member.The mastiff was of no ordinary littler at a very young age he killed his own family and has never thought of other dogs being nothing more than allies who served him and he would kill them if they betrayed him.He has never been anything more than a pure evil dog known as Zetsu.

A Striped dog rested under the sun in a warm patch of grass sensless to the world. Rum had come to the island with hs master but as normal wadered off to see the sights. After watching some Bull-Baiting and getting a free meal at a trade stand Rum was rather tired out.
He new his master was going to go home soon but it didn't bother Rum or his master. Rum would often wader free for days. He opened his eye for a moment to see a pack of children standing round him. He closed his eyes and opened them again but the kids were still there.
'Do you think he's alright?' 1 child said. 'What if he's dangrous?', 'I bet we could sell him as a bait dog, he looks mussled' The Childrens chattering was making Rums rest imposable, he got to his paws quickly making the children jump. One kid nevusly walked closer t pet him. Rum snorted fritening the kids again and trotted off to have a rest in the woods. "Bloody kids" he barked as the followed him to the edge of the woods.
As he walked clear of the children and out onto a dog path, his eyes set on a grey mastiff, tosa looking dog. Rum guessed it was a feral fighting dog and thought best to keep away from it. it looked like it was walking towards him so he walked back though the bushes comuflaging well with the reds in the autumn leaves.

Zetsu heard the sound of children and now raced toward the small group of children who stood at the edge of the woods.The kewl autumn breeze blew through his pelt in way making him look bigger than what he really was.The scent of another dog filled his mussel.Zetsu came to a sharp halt and looked around but didnt' see the dog who he smelt.

Rum could see the Mastiff clearly though his thick bramble bush he layed under, He watched the chuldren get frighten off back towards the houses. The Mastiff looked about as big as a Bear. Rum flatened his ears and crept backwards slowly. Autumn was great for hiding his caot color... not so great as new there were dry brittle leaves scattered over the hard ground.
Rum hoped the wind would cover the sound of his paws on the earth. He turned sharply ready to leave the island not feeling comftable on the island.

Zetsu heard the sound of leaves and quickly dove into the bush that Rum had been hiding under.Zetsu's massive jaws lached onto Rum's shoulders and squeezed tightly.Zetsu's mussle ruffled from his smell.The scent of Rum made Zetsu's blood boil for Rum was new and Zetsu didn't like new dogs or old dogs for that matter.A leaf fell on Zetsu's snout and he sneezed releasing Rum.Zetsu shock his head to regain his composure and once he did.Zetsu's massive paws slammed down onto Rum's chest."Who are you?"Zetsu said in a vail hateful tone.He stared at the strangers who he now pinned down.

Rum had a look of shock and horror in his eyes, "I'm Rum" He barked trying to pull away andstreching out his back legs to keel Zetsu's head well away from his-own throut. "I'm just a pet dog fighter, I mean you no harm" he said his eyes burning at Zetsu as he stopped struggling.

"I don't care about you being a pet.What I care about is that your fighter.You will join me or die."Zetsu told Rum.
What Zetsu didn't know was that a young ninja dog was wandering around near the area that Zetsu had attacked Rum.The scent of blood filled her mussle as she ruffled it up and was now on her way to find out who had been fighting.

Rum had a look of ditermanation on his eye, he pushed his back paws into Zetsu's chin. "I'd rather die" Rum said proudly spitting at Zetsu's face, and growling loudly.

Zetsu smiled evily at Rum."As you wish."Zetsu said.Zetsu sunk his fangs into Rum's Chest squeezing tightly on his lungs hoping to break his ribs forcing his lungs to collaspe.
The young assassian dog who's yellow stripped fur shined in the autumn sun followed the scent of blood and soon came upon the Mastiff trying to kill the striped covered dog.She raced toward the mastiff.
Zetsu looked at the blur of white and yellow.Suddenly his mussle began to bleed he didn't know what hit him.Blood followed from his mussle towards Rum.Zetsu released Rum and looked around but didn't see any dog.Suddenly he was bleeding from his back and then his legs.Then as he looked around,the young assassian dog stood infront of him.Her eyes showed no fear and she wasn't about to let a monster like Zetsu go and hurt an innocent dog like Rum.
Zetsu began to growl but could tell from her speed that he had no choice but to retreat.He walked around the female assassian keeping his eyes locked onto the assassian dog.He then ran off into the woods.The assassian dog looked at Rum.

Once Zetsu had relesed his chest Rum took a deep breath and choked on it, as he got to his paws he had hid head low splutering a little blood and gaging a little. His chest was in pain but he could breath easily now. "Thankyou stranger" he said still breathing pretty fast. "I am in your debt" he said raising his head with a sigh and a smile.
he looked at the dog that saved him, "Your fast" he said blankly with a smile, Rum was usauly a pretty happy dog and now that Zetsu wasn't round his happiness returned, "My names Rum, Whats yours?" He asked walking a little closer.

The assassian dog looked at Rum."My name is Kumiko,nice to meet you Rum.the assassian said with a stern face.
Mean while Zetsu raced up the mountain to heal his wounds.

Rum wagged his tail playfuly, whoever this stranger is who saved him, she needed to lighten up. "So, were you from?" Rum asked trying to make conversation.

Rum took a unsteady step back, 'oops i've only been talking to her 5 minutes and i've already hit a nerve' he thought as he composed himself and sat down. "I come from a small village close to Shirahama, I hunt for my master near there" Rum said semi-proudly. having a master seemed to be his only downside, he never really needed a pack or wild-food he was always content.

"So your a pet well dont' feel bad about it.I use to be a pet but I left.Shirahama is a good place to live,I've been there at least if I remember right.At any rate I should go.That demon dog is still out there and I'll have to keep my eye on him in case he trys to kill anyone who is a pet again.I don't need humans coming around looking for their pets and find me and the demon dog.You should head home its dangerous out here."Kumiko said with a faint grin.
