Stumpy glowed with happiness, her bangles jangled as she fidgeted with exitment, "I've got a monster problem back home!" she yipped, "Littraly" She said making light of the situation. She looked up at all the tall faces, he couldn' wait to get home and see 'normal' sized dogs again. "I left as soon as i saw the monster to get help, so I can't tell you much of our plite. Only my pack are all my size and this monster is the size of a horse, and this other one the size of a great dane but looks like a nightmareish wolf" She said barking dramaticly.

Cry'Tal listened carefully, flashing a smile to Fai as he called him Cry. The nickname did not bother him, afterall it was better than being called 'hey you' or 'whatsyourface'. As he was about to respond to Taiyo and Walaro, Raziel seemed to descend upon the scene like a ghost. Sometimes I wonder why I'm never surprised he does that... He thought to himself, furrowing his brows momentarily. Hearing about the monsters, his pointed ears perked forward as he lowered his head to Stumpy's level. Watching her almost intently, he then looked up at Raziel. "She isn't lying, alpha. What shall we do?" He could tell Raziel did not seem to like the title alpha, but in Zehel's place he was considered as such. Odd colored orbs watched the leader, flexing his muscles he stretched the scar tissue on his shoulder until his shoulders popped and relaxed them. Whatever the verdict, he was ready to do some fighting. All the skills they were learning, he already knew. he was raised by a father who drilled him even as a puppy. Practicing for years to perfect the technique. Even if his skills were a little rough, he knew them well. But whatever the verdict, he would understand it, even if he did not like it. Waiting for the answer, Cry looked at the rest of them, trying to see the looks on their faces and trying to see if they felt the same. Even if some were not ready, this pacl needed help.

Kumiko and Rouka who had been training together that day,saw that of the small terrier.Kumiko and Rouka had not expected to see the she-terrier in this area. The female akita mix walked up to the small group who had gathered around the beta's and the terrier. She now looked at the alpha who had come to listen.
Rouka followed her hoping that the terrier would remember who they were or they had helped some time ago.

"I've got a monster problem back home!" the small dog yipped, "Literally." Raziel blinked. Monster? Regardless of the rather... intense situation, Stumpy didn't sound too upset. Perhaps she was making light of it to make sure they weren't scared? Raziel continued to listen to Stumpy, lost in thought....
"I left as soon as i saw the monster to get help, so I can't tell you much of our plite. Only my pack are all my size and this monster is the size of a horse, and this other one the size of a great dane but looks like a nightmareish wolf."
Nightmarish wolf eh?, Raziel thought. His mind once again flickered back to his strange sightings of the she-dog during the previous nights. His train of thoughts was cut short however, when Cry'Tal spoke up:
"She isn't lying, alpha. What shall we do?"
"Raziel is fine," the giant mutt responded. "I may be your superior, but I'm not too into formalities. Anyway though.... I think it's wise that we lend them a hand." Raziel paused, giving the situation some more thought. He glanced around at the dogs present: Kurogane, Fai, Cry'tal, Walaro, Taiyo, Kumiko and Rouka. Many of them were not skilled enough to send off by themselves, but perhaps with the right dogs leading them, they would be fine. "Kurogane, Fai," he said seriously, his alpha status showing through his voice. Both dogs turned to address him. "I want you two to act on this. Take all the dogs present back to Stumpy's territory. While you are there, you two will act as Alphas. Cry'tal, you will act as Beta and strategist. Everyone else, do as well as you can. Use this as training."
He paused, staring at everyone for a few moments, "I will not be joining you. I am going to stay behind and keep watch, at least until Zehel returns." Raziel knew it was dumb and selfish of him to stay behind, but what could he say? The situation with the female wandering around the territory had him stuck here until he could figure it out.
I'm only protecting the pack... he reassured himself. Kurogane and Fai will be alright leading them.

“Wow, that’s a first time for you, Kurogane.”
Black ears perked up at the sound of the familiar voice as Kurogane backed up a step, turning his head to look at the approaching dog. It was true. Kuro wasn’t one to generally show kindness, patience or any sort of gentle behavior. In truth, he really didn’t want to show the kindness he just had, but it was indeed a must. A lot of things rode on his current behavior, Kuro knew this – after all, this was the first contact with any other pack that Koga had had. Offering Raziel a smile, Kurogane nodded, acknowledging the co-alpha’s status before looking back at the small group that had gathered.
“Don’t expect it to happen again.” He chuckled darkly.
”She isn’t lying, alpha. What should we do?”
Fai laid his ears back suddenly. He knew more than any of the other kogas that she wasn’t lying. He hadn’t seen the beast with his own blue eyes, no, but he had smelled it. Whether or not Kurogane had smelled the strange things on the wind as well while they were on their trip wouldn’t make a difference in his proclamation he was about to make to Raziel. The Beta could only hope that Raziel would believe him, though, why would he have any reason not too? “It’s true, sir. I smelled it. It burned my nose…” His voice held a strange note of seriousness to it.
Red eyes shifted from the others, to his partner. Fai was once again so serious. The serious, almost dark edge to it sent a chill through Kurogane. Why? Why did the damn kishu have so much effect on him? It seemed so ridiculous to Kurogane, especially since Fai was the only one Kuro had let himself get so close to. What the hell was it about the strange dog? Idle thoughts quickly made their mark and faded away as Raziel opened his giant maw once again to speak, drawing the attention of both betas.
"Kurogane, Fai, I want you two to act on this. Take all the dogs present back to Stumpy's territory. While you are there, you two will act as Alphas. Cry'tal, you will act as Beta and strategist. Everyone else, do as well as you can. Use this as training."
Fai and Kurogane both nodded instantaneously. They both knew this kind of situation all too well. But, there was a new edge to it – a small group joining them. It was usually just the two, possibly Zehel as well who went out and did this. But with a pack now, they had to learn, and this was the perfect opportunity.
Zehel…
Fai looked back at Raziel, a question clear in his eyes. “And, what if Zehel returns? Will he come to us in the field?”

Stumpy wagged her tip of a tail, relived she'd came all this way for somthing. Her mind was ticking over on the next step. 'I Bet Mole and the rest of the pack are at Lyca's, I'll ead them there first. That way we'll avoid the monsters all together' she thought to herself looking at the faces above her. "We'll go to Mount Tsurugi first I'm sure Mole wouldn have taken the pack there for safty. We can come up with a plan there" she said looking back at the gates and getting ready to go.

“And, what if Zehel returns? Will he come to us in the field?”
Raziel paused, thinking it over. In all honesty, he hoped that Zehel would not put himself into more danger right after a mission, but it was not his choice. Instead of speaking his mind though, Raziel merely shrugged, "Whatever my brother decides is what he will do. If he does not go, I will meet you there myself." Now Raziel was no assassin like his brother, but he himself was a force to be reckoned with, if his size wasn't a good enough hint. The giant dog rolled his shoulders, earning a satisfied crack from his upper back. "I have not seen the battlefield in years."
Part of him itched for the old days, when he could still be leaping from tree to tree effortlessly, but his current style of fighting was brutal; he had never had to use it yet though.... and against a big target like a monster... well.
It was tempting.
But Raziel knew his place. There would be a time for him to fight. Right now was not it.
"We'll go to Mount Tsurugi first. I'm sure Mole would have taken the pack there for safety. We can come up with a plan there," Stumpy explained.
Raziel nodded, taking in the information in case he or Zehel would appear later. Mount Tsurugi was the destination. In his brief travels, Raziel had only heard of the place once, and so he did not know exactly where it was, but it was not completely foreign to him either. Still, the sky was beginning to grow dark. Now was not the best time for Stumpy and the others to leave. They needed to prepare.
"I open my lands to you Stumpy. Stay here for the night and rest. I'm sure you are tired. My own packmates will need time to get ready too, if we are to be prepared to fight a monster. Well, come now everyone, let's double the training ethic before tomorrow. Your goal is to master one new tactic before dawn."
Raziel smirked, wondering how many of the canines before him would be horrified at such a proposition and how many would be excited. For the most part, it would be Fai, Kurogane, and Cry'tal teaching, but perhaps today someone would come to him in search of a move or two.
((OOC: I kinda figure that we can continue the thread from here for those that want to train and just make a new thread for when the ninjas go to Mount Tsurugi. Sound okay?))

((we can use the 'A Tragic Return & A Surprise Secret' thread when we're ready))
Stumpy shurgged hoping to leave and get to Mount Tsurugi at dawn. "if we have to" she said with a smurk then looked back at the gate again, "I think I'll go hunting" she said looking towards Raziel then trotted away her bangles jingling as she did.
As soon as she passed the gate she could hear her own guts grumbling, "shh or we won't catch anything" she said looking in at her belly. "Like we'll catch anything anyway" she sighed wishing she'd eaten at the last human village she passed.
But she looked ahead with a confident stance. she looked back once seeing the ninja's then darted off into the forest with her nose to the ground. Her bangles clanked as she ran, and her red bandanna stuck out like a sore thumb in the bare snowy tree's. She slowed down to a slow walk, quietening her bangles as best she could, but they still jingled, just a little quieter and less often.
The first lot of prey she came to was a small lone deer, even though it was small it was three times the hight of her. She began to crouch down and slowly walked very carfuly moving her bangled leg. She was careful not to make a sound, but when the deer spotted the red bandanna round her neck it bolted without a second glance. "Crud... Well it was alittle too big i'd waist alot" she said to herself standing and looking round again. She slowly walked the same way the deer had fled, hoping to find the deer or maybe somthing else. Sure enough she spotted the deer again in the far distance, but instead set her eyes on a plump rabbit. Again she slowed right down, lowered her stance and head and carfuly walked towards the rabbit. She was getting close without making a typical jangle, Then a shadow from above spooked the rabbit and it darted to the nearest hole, "Gah! I was close that time, Damn birds" she hissed presuming the shadow to be a large bird.
She sighed and sniffed the air for the sign of water, she was plesently suprized to find herself close to water and jangled her was towards it. She lowered her head and laped up the still water, watching the ripples distort her figure and acceserys.
