thought Ramachandra, as he gained his energy. Not to worry, I'll just use my power. So the sun kissed hybrid closed his green gemed eyes, and put his skills to exercise. Aha, hiding in an ally. Classic! Quickly he dashed toward where he thought his enemy was located. And sure enough, that's exactly where that damned husky was. "How dare you kill a weak pup!" snarled Ramachandra, as he stood stoicly at the entrence of the ally. The husky's blue eyes widdened out of shock and fear. "How did you-" But the husky could not even finish his sentence. The large hybrid didn't even give the dog a chance to explain himself. But man, did he give him a nice tingle in the throat. Ramachandra smiled, peacfully, as he dropped the limp body of his 'comrad'. "Served him right." With that being the last thing that came out of his mouth, he shook the blood from his mouth and chin and walked out of the ally- resuming with what he thought were his "duties" [/ul]

Tenka raced after a dark colored pit who had tried to kill two females and their pups. At the site of the dark colored hound's eyes, the pit ran. In hot persuit of the almost murderer, this brown colored hound chased the criminal. The male's long legs carried him fast as he kept up with the dark male. On the cold hard streets of Tokyo, Tenka had always believed it to be his job to stop anyone from commenting crimes. He had seen to many canines killing for food and a home as well. The humans of the city didn't care about the canines and wanted nothing to do with them. Tenka took it upon himself to do his best to stop anyone he saw harming others. The pit ran down a dark ally and at the end was nothing but a brick wall, the dark grey hound that had been on the male's trail now stood not but a foot away from the male. The pit turned with a snarl, "Who the hell are you to stop me from doing what I need to do to survive?!" the pit spat at Tenka, who simply stood silent, his eyes cold and empty. "I'm one of the few who cares about the weak, and you had no right to attack those females and their pups. Now you'll get what's coming to ya." Tenka launched at the male, fangs sharp and ready to rip through flesh. The pit tried to bite into Tenka's back, but the male's speed was unlike the average canine in the city. The brown grey hound raced past the male cuting the male with every strike of his fangs ripping through the pit's flesh. Blood stained the ground and the brick walls that surrounded the two males. The pit laid at Tenka's paws, the crimson color of blood on the hound's mussle and paws. "Who are you?" the pit asked, "Who I am is none of your concern you worthless piece of canine flesh." Tenka sank his fangs into the pit's throat and ripped it out. The brown grey hound now stood at the entrance of the ally. He walked down the street a block and spotted a large yellow canine, blood on his mussle and chin. A snarl escaped Tenka's maw, "Did you kill anyone?" the grey hound asked, his body in a fighting stance, ready to attack.

he spoke as he walked, still with the taste of blood in his mouth. He needed it off, right now! He hated the taste of blood. It reminded him of the corrupt and the ill mannered canines that had the audacity to roam the streets..looking for trouble. Pfft..how pathetic. So, the bright male would look for some water..Yes, water! Ah-ha. That is what he would do. Now switching his target, he began his trek for some H2O. As he did so, some canine barked at him if he had killed anyone. Well by the looks of yours truly, that was a stupid question now wasn't it? Rama rolled his eyes, but it didn't look threatening as it would look if another dog had done so. He just seemed like a spoiled teenager rolling his eyes. The sort of action that would get him killed. "Yea, what does it look like?" he casually barked back. As he eyed the Sight Hound even more, he noticed the sight of red on his very own jowls. Immediately, the wolf hybrid's attitude changed. It was as if he turned a switch or something! His body tensioned and lowered, bracing himself with a fight with his faster counterpart. "And yourself?!" he boomed, teeth exposed. [/ul]

Tenka glared at the bright colored hybrid, "Yes but for good reason, the canine tried to kill two females and their pups. And what about the canine you killed?" Tenka snarled. The sight of the blood on the large yellow male's mussle made Tenka's blood boil even more.

? What was he, a vigilante?! That was obscured..Who the hell would roam the streets to help others-Then he stopped. What the yellow brute was looking at was an image of himself. "Just killed a husky who had killed a small pup" he spoke, almost monotoned as his expresion seemed to be blank. Not mad, just plain. He had just realised what had just happened. There were others like him out there! [/ul]

Tenka's tense muscles loosened up thuogh not enough to make him relax. The grey hound started at the yellow male. "So this male is like me... We want to help others stay safe from harm." The male said to himself. Tenka easied up a little, his once snarled mussle was a simi-snarl. "I see. Sorry for my reaction, but I haven't met a canine like you. Who are you if I may ask?" Tenka asked in a harsh almost snarl like tone.

- for a lack of words. The hybrid cocked his head to the side as he narrowed his eyes. The sight hound seemed to be either bothered, or interested in Ramachandra's very own life style. That of the quick dog's. "The name's Ramachandra. But you can call me Rama." spoke 'Chandra, his voice seeming quite casual and laid back, but his eyes seemed to reflect uneasiness. "And who are..you?" he lowered his voice, as if someone would hear. It was nice to be Ramachandra, but being such a canine had it's falls. For one, being so damn bright only caused trouble during the day. So it wasn't a surprise that the hero had adopted 'paranoia' as his child.[/ul]

Tenka walked towards the bright canine, stopping a few feet away from the male. "My name is Tenka. Everyone calls me Lighting and to all the canines who've killed, I'm known as The Avenger. Nice to me Ramachandra." Tenka's ears fell flat at the sound of a can falling out of a trash-ben. The grey hound looked behind and saw the two females and their pups.
The small group froze at the male's site, his green eyes, cold and empty but deep in them a sign of emotion feeled him. Tenka had not really shown much emotion to any female or male. It had been at least three months when the grey hound had finished buring his parents, siblings, and cousins who had lost their lives in a fight against a two great danes. The brown male dipped his head to the females and the pups telling not in words but in his actions that the dark pit wouldn't harm them again.
The eyes of the group grew wide with happiness and also at the site of the bright Rama, the brown male's eyes looked back at Rama. "I know you think this unusual but how would like to join forces and stop all this crime. I mean weak canines like the old ones, females, and pups need to be protected and I think we'd make a great team, hell maybe some more canines would join us... So what do you say Rama?" A gental grin spread across Tenka's maw as his body relaxed now.

Yeah, folks, Rama was a softie to those who did good. There, happy I said it? Ramachandra looked back at his new found friend, who proposed an idea. Such and idea that would make the largest of 'superman's' quiver. A police force? pondered the intrigued male as he cocked his head to the other side. Damn, what a splendid idea! It was so splendid, that Ramachandra didn't even know when he ever used the word 'splendid'. "Yo man..That's a 'splendid' idea!" exclaimed the he-dog, as he jumped out of place and everything. "It would be The Police Force. The official Police Force." Oh the possibilities.[/ul]

Tenka smiled at the name for their new group, The Offical Police Force. It had a nice ring to it, the male gave his new friend a smile. "That sounds good to me. But how do we tell if another is capable of upholding our rules and doing what is asked of them?" The gray hound asked the yellow male.

were they going to tell if those interested in joining had morals in them? I mean the "Police Force" could not have corrupted individuals in it. That was just.. messed up. The hybrid sighed and lowered his gaze as he tried to think of an idea. Would their followers have to prove themselves in some fashion? If this was the case, how? "Ehh, I'm not sure,Tenka." replied Ramachandra, abit embarrassed for his lack of idea, "But we could do a background check. Gonna' be annoying, but it's possible. What do you think?" This was the only thing that could guarantee if the dogs were criminals or good. I mean once a killer always a killer, right?[/ul]

Tenka dipped his head in agreement with Ramachandra. "That sounds good, and your right about it being annoying, but it help prove if those individuals were worthy enough to join our cause." The male said, as he now thought about how to get information from others and how to find those who were suitable to be police canines and follow orders that they were given.
To be honest, Tenka didn't even know where to begin, he had never thought about things like this and frankly it had never crossed his mind, the male was always on his own, stopping crimes where he went, but now it made sense to make a police force and were else better than the city. Tenka thought long and hard and yet still nothing came to mind of what to do or how to test those who simply wanted to join them. Looking at the yellow hybrid, "Do you have any other ideas on where and how to begin recruiting others for the force?" Tenka asked his friend.

Elsewhere, a couple blocks over...
"Come back here you bitch!" She could hear the stray coming up behind fast. The tone of his enraged voice made it clear that he would have loved to be just close enough to grab the white tip of her tail which waved about a yard in front of his snarling jaws. If she thought she stood a chance, she'd have slowed down just to cuff him under the jaw with her hind. Yet the action wouldn't be quite worth losing her tail to the hound. The small, paper sack occupied her mouth as she cletched onto it tightly, but she still managed to shout back to him as she rounded the corner down the main street, "That's vixen tah you, jackass!"
Of course she was only half vixen, according to what her mother told her. The light tearing sound of the paper indicated that the flood of memories caused her to bite down harder. It's been years and she can still hear her screams. Her vixen of a mother had been raised on a fur farm, as was herself, but her manner of conception was quite peculiar. Dogs aren't exactly known to cross with foxes often, actually at all. Of course that's what made it rare; it was the rape that made it injustice. Thankfully, her sire - she would not call him her father - died of disease not long after her birth, and she escaped before she could meet some equally macabre fate as her mother. Oh the things she witnessed in her youth...
Suddenly, she was brought back to reality by the sharp snap of teeth she felt by her flank. "Shit!" How long had she been reminiscing about life in hell? Unfortunately she had allowed the brute to catch up to her in the mean time. Rapidly glancing up ahead, her wide blue eyes began searching for a new escape route. However, instead of escape, she only saw obstacles in the form of a group of dogs in front of her. Yelling out a muffled, "Comin' through!" she dove right under the chest of a male with a bright yellow pelt that gleamed like a yield sign in the sunlight.
With no time to obey the unconventional yield, she slipped right beneath him and once through his legs and out the other side she continued her sprint down the pavement. Stealing a glance behind her, she saw as her pursuer shoved his way past them with far less finesse. He even knocked over one of the young pups who had tried to scramble out of his path. Frankly, the sight downright pissed her off, but if she sank her teeth any further into the parcel she was carrying the contents would begin to spill out.
He was obviously a fast cuss, because just as it seemed that she had caught a break, the distance was closing once again. Her paws were really starting to feel the pains from running full speed across the rough surface of the asphalt for so long. All of a sudden, a new pain cut into her pad, quite literally, as she ran over a small fragment of glass from what appeared to be a carelessly discarded bottle.
‘Super…,’ she thought bitterly. Now she was bleeding slightly and trying to evade a large, slobbering mutt on three legs through the streets of Tokyo. With this new development, she could easily kiss goodbye any ideas of him losing her trail. Now it was up for other means of evasion. If there were ever the need for quick thinking, there was no time like the present. Thank the holy spirits, perhaps sometimes prayers are answered after all. Up ahead, a tall, chain-linked fence loomed as both a blockade and, if you happened to be an adept climber, an open door.
Muscles burning with the rapidly depleting supply of adrenaline her body had been providing, she tucked her legs beneath her and leapt. Hitting the fence forcefully, she hooked her paws through the metal loops in a way that was familiar to her from years past. As she scrambled her way up the length of the wire, she could both see and scent the blood she was leaving, the crimson liquid dripping gently from the fence. Once she reached the top she sprang, a soft yelp jolting from her throat as she required her injured leg to land successfully – if that’s what you’d call managing to not break her neck on the landing that is.
Slowing her gait moderately, she glanced back only to let out a frustrated growl. Roughly ten yards down the fence-line, the mutt was currently cramming himself through a hole in the chain. This was what she hated about being up against an adversary who knew the lay of the land better than her. ‘Doesn’ this joker ever give up?’
When she turned her gaze back to front, what she saw ahead almost made her jaw drop and spill the bag of food. On her left, a row of buildings constructed close together with alleys blocked by tall wooden fences. To her right, a busy street, the cars streaming by her as flashes of color and an aftershock of wind ruffling her fur even from her distance. Finally, up a head, the precipice of a bridge that dropped into a channel of water. In other words, her options were limited; she was at a dead end. The small fox hybrid either turned back now and tries to slip past the wanting jaws of the dog, or stand her ground and fight. Or was that really all she had left…?
Narrowing her crystal-like eyes, gleaming with determination, the smirk she bore was almost arrogant. She could hear the sound of the water rushing past its concrete shores, echoing as it disappeared into the dark tunnels heading for the other side of the city. Unexpectedly, laughter filtered from her throat, such a way that it sounded either childlike or maniacal. The sound followed her as she gathered herself beneath her and jumped, sailing over the barrier of the bridge.
Whether he didn’t hear what was on the other side of the concrete blocks, or he was just in such a fit that he didn’t bother to pay attention, her pursuer gave a triumphant growl as he followed her jump. However, it quickly heightened to a strangled yelp as the brute plummeted into the water below. Pawing at the surface, keeping his massive snout above the surface, he sputtered and coughed, glaring the surface of the water with contempt as he searched for the female whom he was chasing. Yet, he never saw her as everything went dark, the water dragging him into the tunnel, out of sight, his parting words, “I HOPE YOU DROWN, BITCH,” reverberating into the tunnel and fading with him.
The dogs dark wishes wouldn’t be answered however, as Cat watched him with teasing eyes as he vanished. She was just glad that her own presumptions came to be true, coming in the form of the narrow ledge on the opposite side of the barrier, which she now laid curled up on. Slowly rising, standing with each paw lying in front of the others in a straight line so not to fall off, she snorted, a rough expulsion of air forced through her nose and muttered under her breath, “Vixen. Vixen, get it righ’ why don’t yah’?”
Carefully, she positioned the bag she clutched partially over her shoulder in a mock, canine fireman’s carry and clambered back over the barrier. Wincing only slightly as her paw brushed against the street surface when she landed on the safe side, she twisted it around to get a better look at it now that she had a chance to catch her breath. Relieved to see that the bleeding was stopping, a dirty, crimson crust already forming in the fur between her toes, she limped towards the trail of blood she’d left behind.
This time she used the hole in the fence she saw the dog slip through, fitting more easily between the bent and mangled bit of wire than he had. She hadn’t forgotten the purpose behind the whole episode, and neither had she dismissed the group of dogs she had run through down the street. If they were pleasant enough, she’d owe them an apology, if it looked like they were just another violent gang of brutes, she’d need to slip past them before she had to have a second work out in one day. ‘Wonder what a bunch of hounds like that are doing meeting in the middle of the street anyway?’ She thought to herself, honestly curious as the mentioned group came closer into her sight. ‘Migh’ be interesting indeed…’
Pausing a comfortable distance from them, close enough that she didn’t need to shout, yet far enough she could get a good head start, she lowered the paper sack on to the ground before her. Raising her head, her foot held tenderly into the air near her chest, she observed them carefully, smiling faintly, “Hey there. Um… I’m sorry about running through you guys.” She recalled the one pup the jerk ran into as he followed her and quickly added, “Are yah all a’right?”
