Mikiyok's ear flickered again, and she looked up, a shillouette passed over them. She heard him saying something, but wasn't paying full attention, instead, watching the dog who leapt over her and Musou, along with a male who came from the side. She didn't know what to think first, but remained silent and listened as the female spoke. They had been searching for the fae Lyca and her group. She noted that they smelled of her pack, Lyca, her mate and followers.
Miki looked up at Musou as he had held fast, she lowered her head and watched the two newcomers from between his fore and hindlegs. She glanced up as he nodded, an answer to the questions of the canines across the legnth of street. Seeing as Musou seemed to know what he was doing, Mikiyok kept her own mouth shut firmly. --
Her orange tail curling back up, she sat as the dogs thanked Musou. "We're both members of the Koga Pack and we are very good friends with Lyca and her pack. Which direction did she go?" Koga? She blinked. It sounded familliar, probably from a whisper of passersby from her traveling. Without knowing, she could fall into any territory, she was glad she never ran into any hostiles, well, just yet anyway. The male of the two finally spoke, trying to ease the tension he saw in Musou. It was a fair offer, if they were both docile, there would be no need to oppose eachother. The female seemed surprised, had the male never spoken out before? What she said seemed to prove exactly that. Miki's brown eyes gazed between the two, then up at Musou. "By the way, I'm from Iqualuit." She smiled, keeping one ear cocked towards the others.

"I am sorry if I seem to be on edge about things. Being a lonely traveler makes one wary of even a friendly face." He dipped his head in acknowledgement to their names and stared quietly at the oh so quiet male who only stared back at him. A staring contest was one he would lose, but a fight.. well he would rather not think about things like that. "I am Musou and this is Mikiyok." He smirked a little as the smaller dog kept her upbeat attitude. Human-known dogs usually kept that attitude until they are forced to face a hostile canine from the outskirts. To Musou it was often the simple fact that not everyone kept a friendly way of things and not everyone wanted to just stop and chat like he had been lucky with so far on this miserable day. The hybrid’s ears twitched as he listened to the female called Kumiko speak to her companion and Miki moving quietly. He really wasn’t trying to prove he was brave to anyone, but he did seem to attract trouble whether he wanted it or not. The times he wanted the trouble, it never came. When he did not want it, he would always receive it head on. Looking up at the dull sky with that crimson gaze, he felt the soft sprinkles of water and the wind gently pushing his damp fur around a little. If only he could find his peace again. But it seemed he would only get it once he was dead.

Kumiko dipped her head to Musou. "That is completely understandalbe. Lyca was nothing but a black and dark crimson ball of hate, fury and rage when we met her. It was only after fighting against Neon, her mate did she seem to start to control her anger. Yet she did nearly starve herself because of the way she acted." the she-dog said. Rouka dipped his head in agreement to what Kumiko had said.

Mikiyok found she had actually payed attention (for once). She was focusing more on the female's tone, but also listened to what she was saying. Lyca, a brute? She somewhat believed that could've been true, though the dark female would have changed massively to get to her forgiving current state. "She has just recently forgiven someone close to her." She said quietly, "Lyca must have changed a great amount." Her orange tail flicked, the lighter underside darkened by the rain and dust from the road.
Feeling a bit foolish for speaking so suddenly, Miki looked down from the two, and scanned the ground for something else to focus on. From her own small orange paws, to Musou's large ones, she noticed deep scruffs in his paw pads. A curious inhale entered her nose, though she tried not to let Musou notice.

"Anybody can be a ball of hate, it all just depends how other things affect you. Some are affected quicker than others..." He spoke, letting his words trail off as he listened to Miki speak softly. He looked down at her smirked and nodded. "That's right.. I believe it was her sister or something that she had just forgiven.." Though he intended to leave the getting in between the fight out of it. Very few thought it was a brave move to try and spare someone's life for that one last chance. His gaze slowly fell upon Rouka again as he let his mind cruise on its own. The Koga pack? He thought the Koga were exstinct... maybe they were back.. Who knew.. kind of strange for a doberman and akita to be part of that. Then again, the Koga packs had been disband long before he knew of them, must have been a recent, new pack.

The yellow akita fea smirked at what the orange female had said. True Lyca had changed a great deal within almost a year of being alpha. Kumiko's mind flooded with memories of when she first met Lyca. Never wanting anything but revenage and her heart full of hate. There was no getting through to her, that always being comsummed by hate and rage would never solve anything. Now Lyca was happy and always forgiving others, even though it was strange to think that she would.
"Your right, Lyca has changed a great deal from last winter. Its almost been a year since she took over the pack lands that she now owns. It was in this past winter that Lyca also had her first litter of pups." A slight smiled graced her lips. Though hearing that it was the half sister of Lyca, that she had forgiven, instently made the smile vanish. "You mean to tell us that, Lyca allowed her half sister Lyianna to live?! Lyca may have changed a great, but I doubt that even she would let someone like her live! That she-wolf tried twice to kill Lyca and didn't work. I just bet that Lyianna attacked Lyca again and this time she won't let her live..." Rouka barked. He knew Lyca well enough to know that if anyone hurt Lyca's family like Lyianna did, she would show no mercy!
"I'd have to agree with Rouka on this one... Lyca wouldn't let someone like Lyianna live after what she's done...." Thinking hard... Kumiko could find no reason for Lyca to let Lyianna live. Though the two were kin by their father, there was no way that Lyca would let this happen.
As Lyca, Lyianna, Neon, Zeal, Oni, Pride, and Brave walked slowly towards the edge of the city. Lyca stopped and looked back in the direction that they had come. Lyianna looked at her sister, "What's wrong Lyca?" Staring at the lonely street behind her, there was no reason for her to feel as though she should go back. "Neon, I'm going back for a moment. Take Lyianna and head home, I'll join you as soon as possible."
Without asking any questions, Neon let Lyianna lean against her. Lyca raced down the street that she and her family had just come from. "I don't know why, but I feel as though someone is talking about me and I think I have a pretty good idea as to who they may be." Neon and the others started off home again.

Mikiyok nodded quietly, her damp fur rippling slightly. The pups would have affeccted quite alot, but it could have just made her more protective, as all mothers are over their pups. She motioned towards the male Rouka, "I agree with you, if Lyca hadn't thought about her actions, she would have indeed killed Lyianna. And she will if she slips up again." She speaks while looking at the dog's paws out in freont of them, her own currently placed stationary in front of her. "Then again, family can be the closest bond, can't it?"Mikiyok wasn't quite sure, she didn't remember her family well. When trying to acumulate thoughts of a brother, a sister, mother or father, all she could think of was the owner she had previous of her getting the job.
Another sound in the city, again the tapping of claws against the pavement, the sound was almost identicle to that which the two dogs in front of her made. But the sound was more clear and rythmic. Only one?

To the older wolfdog, it was a surprise to learn that it had only been a year since Lyca started controlling that temper of hers. However, he wasn't surprised to learn that just about every other dog he met harbored a terrible grudge on Lyianna. Seems your speaking of the old ways keeps another's head clear.. but these younger dogs have no idea what it means to simply forgive and let go... Leave them before they find out why she didn't kill that wolf. What's the worse they can do? Bite at you? Mew bit his tongue from retorting back to the voice in his head. It could become a problem if she messed up again just because he practically forced Lyca to give her one more chance. Then again, he wanted and hoped for Lyca to give that chance to her. He knew what it was like to not be given a chance to prove that he was worth something instead of just... just a worthless hybrid. "Family bonds usually last through even the deepest regrets one can harbor... but some times it doesn't matter if your family or not. When that happens it usually meant you were being disowned or killed for being who you were.." To Musou, these dogs only seemed misled about many things. A hateful can learn to let go when truly tested, but to many a hateful, bitter heart could never change. Apparently they thought of the she-wolf as nothing more than a heartless creature who was bent on destroying Lyca's life. He would stick around and learn of word about her, if she messed up he would personally end her then and there.
Thoughs were once again cut short as he looked down at Mikiyok, seeming alerted by the clicking of claws on the pavement once again. Oh, what now!? The voice cried out in his scarred head. Huffing quietly like it was a cough, he was really laughing at the voice sounding so tired of all the dogs already.

Heart racing and paws sore from all the running she had been doing, yet forcing herself to continue. The sound of familiar voices filled her ear fur, Lyca knew these voices well. "What are they doing here?" Coming up behind the large hybrid male: Musou and the small orange fur ball: Mikiyok. There standing before them, was a yellowish akita inu mix and a male doberman pincher. Her eyes like stone as she looked at them. "Kumiko, Rouka what are you doing here?"
Kumiko and Rouka both smirked at the stone cold look in her dark crimson eyes and laughed, they knew that Lyca had changed but could still revert back to her old hateful self when she wanted to. "We found your scent and followed it all the way to this male and female.... They tell us that you've decided to let your half sister Lyianna live... Is this true my old friend?" Kumiko asked with a harsh expression on her muzzle. She didn't think that Lyca would allow someone like Lyianna to live but then again she had been wrong before about her. Watching this black and dark blood marked she-wolf defeat a monterous canine... that was something that Kumiko thought impossible for the young fea and yet she did it.
"It is true. You two may not like it just like I know that my pack will not like it... but they will accept it. She's my sister and if theres one thing I know is that my father would not want us to fight but to live like nothing has ever happened. Lyianna will be kept safe by my side like she should've been from the first day we met. It was our hate for each other that drove us to the fights and the near deaths. Yes, what she did was not right, but it was what she thought was right. I do not blame her for hating me or my brothers, but that is in the past. No harm is to come to her from any pack, I'll give my life to keep my family safe." Lyca barked at them.
Kumiko and Rouka were taken aback by this. They didn't expect Lyca to go all out on them, but then again she did have the right. After all they would do the same for their family. "Yes I can understand that... but what about the pack.... Don't you care at all what happens to them?!" Kumiko only considered pups that she gave birth to and her mate family that is if she had any pups or a mate. Lyca smirked at both her old and new friends. "When I say family... I mean my whole family and that means the whole pack and even my friends. There is no way that I would let anyone get hurt." Lyca grinned.

Mikiyok's ear flickered, the crimson-eyed fae had returned and, although she looked in need of a good rest, had also, a dangerous appeal. As Lyca exclaimed their names, it was obvious that she knew them, for at least a little while, enough to get to know them if she was questioning the two. Her ear flicked as the golden female said her and Musou's names, but she kept her eyes on Lyca's expression, almost fixated.
The fae explained mostly what she had said when her pack was with her, remarking that her pack was indeed her family, and that they would be safe, a quiet thought at the back of Mikiyok's mind tumbled around a bit, but she ignored it, and curled her tail to her side, letting the rain drip off it quietly. About twelve droplets of water came off her tail before Miki's head snapped up at the golden female and her sharp tone. She didn't seem to yet understand Lyca's description of family.. until she told her. Smiling faintly at Lyca's own grin, she found the fae a little cautious, trying to both be dominating and caring at the same time, a leader's quality.

Well... so much for just helping out with the finding of the house for Mikiyok... It was true, considering everybody seemed to keep coming back. Man this was starting to become more difficult by the second... Not the dealing with the dogs but standing there acting like his paws were not tender and burning up his legs now. Oh how he was wishing for a soft bed of leaves and the steady sound of the stream nearby to allow him total bliss and sleep away the pain he felt.
At first he was taken back by the fact that Lyca was back again, but even more so at the fact that both sides seemed to be on opposite sides of the playing board instead of deciding how it would actually strengthen the bonds of a family torn apart. Backing up a little so he wasn't in the middle of everything he looked down to Miki who seemed absorbed in what Lyca was saying. All this talk of family... it was beginning to make him sick for his own. Family was everything, until the very family you put everything into betrayed you. That is what had Musou on the run from one pack or another. Or rather running away from everything that he lost so long ago.

Lyca sighed as she looked at Musou and Mikiyok. "Sorry about all this trouble.. Mikiyok, Musou. You two may leave, I'm sure you two have more pressing matters to deal with than to stand here listenign to this argument about my sister." Her dark crimson eyes galnced at Kumiko and Rouka. "Kumiko.. Rouka, both of you follow me and we'll talk on our way back towards my home." The she-wolf dipped her head to the large male and the young fea.
Kumiko and Rouka did the same though their thoughts and eyes were more on Lyca as she began to leave. Following after her, Kumiko bit her lip to keep herself calm from the rage that boiled inside her. Rouka on the other hand grunted at Lyca. "You two aren't happy with my choice but it was my choice after all. I did what I thought was right and theres nothing you two can say to change my mind. After all, I'm stubborn and you two should know that by now." The male doberman sighed because he knew it was true, but he bit Lyca's ear. "We understand... Don't we Kumiko?"
Kumiko sighed for she knew that Lyca had her reasons and respected that even though the she-dog didn't like it. "Lyca its not that.... I'll be honest and say that I don't like your choice, but your right it was your choice and I'll respect that. But you know that your pack will have something to say about it. I'll call you unfit of being a leader... I guess you could say that they expect you to come home with her dead. But once they see her alive, thats when the real trouble will begin."
Lyca smirked at the comments that her friends made. "Yes, I understand this. But if they want me to be cruel and hateful like I use to be. Then I'll show them just how cruel I can be." Kumiko and Rouka laughed, Lyca laughed with them. She didn't want to show the pack that she could be truely cruel but in the event that, that was the last resort, then she would show them and make all my pack members fear her.

Nodding a thank-you to Lyca, for excusing her and Musou from the conversation, Miki looked over at the tall male beside her. The unsteady look on his long borzoi face made him look a bit nauseous, unless he was going for that expression, then he pulled it off nicely. She nudged his side slightly, to see if he wanted to continue down the road, even though she was sure the box in her ruksack was soggy and worn by now.
"Shall we be off then? You look.. a bit uncomfortable." She said quietly, turning her head to the left in a passive manner, small white nails scratched against the damp road quietly, though louder than she intended. In the back of her mind, she wondered what had made Musou unsettled, but like alot of things, she knew she wouldn't ask, at least not at the very moment.

Mew nodded his head to both Mikiyok and Lyca, silently slipping away, stopping only just as the argument was still loud to his ears.. even as the group was walking away. "I'm sorry... I'm just not used to being around so many in one day.. One of the reasons I can never truly stay to one pack without becoming a loner again..." He made the excuse as he limped slightly behind Mikiyok, trying to hide it as he caught up with her more. Everything that Lyca had said was true, but what would happen if her entire family decided to betray her? Would she still try to rule the pack or simply try to form new one with an extreme iron paw? Or simply become a loner? This older loner tended to worry about things like this quite a bit, but it was rather common for him to be reminded why he could never truly stay to a pack or simply become a family man with excellent qualities. You could not bare starting another one again... you know this and yet you still try to think it would be better than before... why put yourself through even more pain? Groaning softly, though sounding more as a sigh, his thoughts were swimming around in his head, not paying attention to where he was walking or paying attention ot how fast he was going.

Mikiyok listened to the rain patter down around them, it had lessened slightly more, but the clouds looked as heavy and as menacing as ever. Large streams of water paddled their ways down the sides ov the roads, and she shook one paw as she stepped into a puddle of.. something.
"It must have been strange for you, when Lyca's whole pack was around us." the female said, watching as the male strode past her a ways. He had an odd lithe quality to him, though he looked as rugged as a boulder. She watched his tail for a moment before realising he was moving ahead, and after taking a few larger strides, se was beside him again.
"You've had packs, but you're a loner now... Do you mind me asking if you ever get the homesickness?" She barked quietly, watching the adresses on the houses as they passed them. One was written in a bold orange print, and fairly whispy looking to her eyes, as if it were dancing over the wall. Miki looked ahead.
