Canni's attack had been dodged and now there was truely no way that he would allow a worthless female out wit him. The female had managed to grab the little black puppy's scruff, and run. Yes there must've been a reason for her to do this... but what was it? The only reason as to way a female would run is if they could not fight or they were the alpha of a pack and others were fighting within their territory.
The sounds of snarls and barks, had been ignored and drowned out by his own snarls and grunts. Yet even if their were others fighting, this female was fighting him and he would finish the fight. Chasing her now, chains rattling as he ran.
Abby could feel the scruff of her black coat being pulled the tan female who was fighting to protect her. There was something bothering the brave female who now carried her. She had ran right into a fight with a giant monster and another canine. A canine... that the black spaniel had never seen before... What were these creatues and why were they fighting?

The queen noticed what had been happening on her turf, and did not appreciate it one bit. But what was she to do? There were three intruders, and only one her..Who was crippled because of the young dog she wielded within her mouth. Now what?
The Shepherd decided to run past the black female and the purple-hued creature. What the fuck is that? she remembered thinking as she caught a glimpse of that. Hatshepsut stopped yards away, and turned around facing the duo. Her ears slid back and eyes shrank into slits as the creature aborted its original target and directed its body toward her. Shit! she thought as she realized it was going after her. Well, wanna play? Let's play then. With that in mind, the must more swift and agile female turned around and began to run the same way she was going. Her jaws tightened, probably cutting the scruff of the cocker spaniel, but it was nothing compared to what would have happened if this creature or the other one had a hold of her. With speed and shear determination on her side, she propelled her body through the foggy terrain that she knew quite well.
The leader knew a spot where to put the fragile being in the mean time. A spot about a mile or so away from the fighting dogs. It was a den that was right under a tree. Hatshepsut gently placed her down and nudged her into the den. "Now, you stay right here. Don't leave..And if someone smells of the land that means their part of my pack. Tell them Hat let you stay here". And with that, the female turned around and bolted toward the crowd.
She saw the purple mutt running toward her. Hat's smile curled up as she thought of a plan. Quickly, she jumped out of the way of the creature's jaws. Hat knew that it would be ready for more and will chase after her, so she didn't waste any time running away.

Chaos can never run rampant unnoticed for long. What first came as peculiar scent quickly turned into the physical presence of paw steps in the moistened ground as he cantered his way across the landscape. Pacing himself, his breath slow in spite of the speed he was gaining with each stride, this was surely not a time to expel energy carelessly. It was a feeling that churned from deep within his gut, an old friend and ally that had saved him from certain death from a past long since lived. Something was off, his country threatened, those close to him in harms way.
It had been quiet lately and the shepherd should have been at peace. His leader home and back to her health, no threats had been laid to the territory, a few new members had joined. However his mind was never at peace. The growing quiet had only pressed to make him grow more anxious. Pessimistic as the thoughts may be perceived, everyone knows in the back of their mind that darkness will always overcast the sun once in a while.
He felt so close and yet just as the elation of this feeling came to him it was interrupted by the sound of a body approaching him from the side. Glancing over his shoulder, he couldn't help but give a relieved smirk as a familiar silhouette gradually began to meet his stride. The doberman was unmistakable with the column of silver protruding from his torso that made up his robotic limb. Fabius, a loyal friend, was second only to Hat in which he wouldn't mind accompanying him in a potential battle. However the two lanky figures shadowing him were a little more cause for concern. Before he could question, the Dobe responded as he managed to reach his shoulder, "I see you got the feeling too."
It wasn't a question, they both seemed to be aware that something was amiss on their turf. It was because of this he simply implied his own queries with a slight jerk of his head as they maintained their pace. Fabius didn't look back, as he seemed to understand the gesture. "Stubborn like their mother. Wouldn't let me leave them behind, but they know to stand clear if it's bad."
In spite of his understanding chuckle, his expression was tight with concern over his adoptive nieces. He listened intently to the pattering steps of Mercy and Revy behind them, but was suddenly distracted by a more distressing sound. A pup whined from somewhere nearby. He looked over to ask Fabius if he'd heard it as well but the male was already veering their course in it's direction, and he followed.
...
This den site was known of, but rarely used unless the weather was bad when one was patrolling this far out. Yet as they approached, her sat an unfamiliar being, a spaniel of some form, young and appeared to be shaken up by whatever caused it to be here. Looking around, he tried to pick up some clue about where it had come from, perhaps some evidence of the guardian. On close inspection, he was surprised that the freshest scent on the ground was one predominantly ingrained on his mind. Hat.
It didn't make sense though. If Hat had been here, there was no way she wouldn't have noticed the pup, and even less likely that she would abandon it. He could feel Fabius watching him, as if waiting for his view on the situation before acting. However, his mind was preoccupied as his mind tried to fit two and two together. With the gut feeling gnawing at his insides like a conscious being, an agitated beast, he came up with a conclusion. She would likely leave it here in safety... if there was a threat that still needed to be dealt with. The thought made him look sharply in the direction he had been running, despite nothing to witness there. Yet.
Leaving Fabius without a single word of advise of what to do with the pup, he bolted off into the open terrain, a sense of urgency in his quickly shrinking form. The Dobe was frustrated by this, but in spite of his groan he understood that there must be something was on the shepherds mind to make him act so. Glancing down at his offspring, he spoke quick and firm, eager to catch up to Remus before he disappeared from sight. "Mercy, Revy, stay here and watch this pup. No matter what you see or hear, the only direction you are to run is back home. Understood?"
The two female Dobe pups had grown quickly into adolescence over time. Muscled and capable to be left to themselves, yet they were still too reckless and physically immature to handle the stress of battle. They both gave a groan similar in pitch it was in stereo when it reached their father's ears, but they both mumbled a, "Yes father..", and strode over to the pup. Mercy gave a friendly grin, her naturally set ears perking up as she sat down by them, though Revy hung back, expression almost bored and still bitter about being left out again as she watched their sire sprint after Remus.
...
It all came to him at once as they came over the hillside. The strange scents of the intruders had overrun those left by the pack indicating their territory. Sounds of snarls and other angry vocals accompanied that of quickened strides, running, fighting. Finally, the sight came to him and he dared not put on the brakes. Hat was running in the same direction he was facing a short distance away, trailed by strange canines. He knew her not to flee without reason. She no doubt had a plan in mind, calm under the heat of battle, but she was still outnumbered. As his gaze picked out three bodies he couldn't place a familiar feature on, in his mind any who were not friends were foes. Fabius was at his flank as they both surged forward without hesitation. With a silent glance, they both agreed on keeping their course on Hat's pursuers.
A snarl reverberated within his throat, the sound varied in tone and increased in volume as it left him, echoing that of a battle cry. He threw his weight forward into his shoulder to slam into the side of the beastly looking individual that took a lunge for Hat as she passed, intent on knocking her off balance as he sped by, catching up to his leader's heels. The adrenaline causing his breath to come in pants, appearing winded rather than the energy that he truly felt, he called up to her so she wouldn't mistake him for a threat. "Sought you vould haff all ze fun vizout us eh, Führer?" *(Führer = leader)
Meanwhile, Fabius sped around to cut off the one with the chains wrapped around his body. The sound of the dangling loops put a smirk on the Dobe's face as he intended to show this mutt a real metal accessory. Swiping his robotic limb out at his legs, he the steel claws that protruded from the end of the false paw would make a lovely hacking sound if they connected with the dog's flesh.
((Sweet cupcakes in the sky I needed this. And I intend on keeping up with this thread too. School is surprisingly slowing down with a little over a month left and I'm in the mood to write x3 Hope you don't mind me jumping in, but I thought Hat needed some backup from her pack. However some posts will most likely NOT be this long ))

[wow O.O so much to read now lol. Guess I should get it in gear to post and get the thread moving again]
Everything was beginning to run so fast by now, rattling of chains came close as this beast continued after the bi-colored shepard. Hir naturally perked ears twitched as shi snapped at the air behind the female, still gaining ground over her fast movements. Just as the beast was catching up to the german shepard and about to latch onto her back, something came up beside hir and pushed hir away, grabbing nothing but small hairs and air. Snarling out of being taken away from hir target after spinning around to catch hir balance again, shi glared with those blackened eyes, pink pupils glowing as shi grew even more angered by this turn of events. With all these new canines to choose from, the black wolf was forgotten for the time as shi resumed chasing after the one who knocked hir off course. Wretched mutts... I'll kill them all!! Talon thought to hirself as hir brain clicked off and now would only let hir extended training as a fighting dog take over. This day was not going to end well for anyone in the abroad right now. Without waiting to recieve another attack from the others who arrived, the beast dodged any further attacks, buckled hir legs and jumped with those long claws extended to pounce and pin the male on the ground temporarily. If hir hit was successful, shi would merely slowly choke the life out of him.

Oni watched as the situation changed. The tan she-dog that had the black pup in her mouth now returned with two males following closely behind her. The monsterious creature swatted a large paw at the brave female, one of the males got the creatures attention. Oni smirked at the battle before her. "So this land is controled by a pack. Well at least now I know that. But I won't leave them to fight that thing on their own. My alpha wouldn't like that not to mention I kind of did bring this battle into their land." Without another thought, Oni raced off to the tan she-dog and the male that fought against the large monster.
"Hope you two don't mind if I help you out!" charging straight for the large beast, the black she-wolf's fangs were bared and ready to tear through flesh.

Cannibal raced towards the fight that was now taking place. The sound of his own chains rattling and his heart beating fiercly for the blood of his enemies. The site of a male doberman dashing towards him only made his longing for blood and meat even greater. Swiping his robotic limb out at his legs, he the steel claws that protruded from the end of the false paw would make a lovely hacking sound if they connected with the dog's flesh.
Canni jumped over the male as he attacked him. The white blood stained male turned sharply after landing behind the male, lunging at the doberman with a his sharp fangs ready to pierce his flesh. Blazing red eyes only made his appearance of anger increase as he fought. The tan female had escaped him for now yet she still remained around, fighting alongside another male and a black female.
Abby found herself being surrounded by two large males and two young pups. The sound of snarls increased with each passing moment and it was not long before the two males left to join the fight. The two pups stayed behind to keep the young little black pup who remained quiet and rather shacken by the events that had taken place eariler that night. Eyes jetting from one direction to the other, always expecting to be attacked but now... nothing seemed to be near them. Yet Abby still wouldn't move an inch.

The odd looking creature had been hot on the Queen's track, something that Hat wanted to happen actually. Should she speed up or make a super sharp turn? And how close was it to her tail? The pure bred tried to calculate every fighter's position on the "battle field", but that was an impossible task. First off, all of the canines had been moving way to much, and second...well..Let's just say what happened next just surprised her beyond reason.
"Sought you vould haff all ze fun vizout us eh, Führer?" [/s] Not only did Hatshepsut recognize the husky voice of the fellow who said that, but only one dog called Hat Führer. It was Remus. His beautiful face almost melted her very own soul, as he always had perfect timing and out of everyone, he had never left her. Loyalty and bravery was what he had- something that Hat admired truly in a male.
The tan German Shepherd did not slow down, but threw him a nice grin his way. "Of course not, my dear Remus. I share my fun." replied in a semi flirtatious way (which was something that was beyond rare), and quickly made a sharp turn to face the fight. That was when she noticed her other pack member, Fabius, fight the original attacker- the whitish male. The Queen's ears flattened against her skull as her dark red eyes noticed the dog with the claws (Talon) to be even more angry then ever. And it was heading her way.The black intruder (Oni) declared herself as a friend rather a foe, and lunged herself at the thing, teeth exposed.
Wow, seems like the tables had turned thought Hat as she gestured her right hand man (Remus) to join in on the "fun". With that the German Shepherd female sped up to the black wolf's aid, and ran around the mutt. She was now behind it and jumped at it, trying to latch herself on the base of its skull. This was team work at its best.

Remus found himself beaming as she glanced back towards him over her shoulder, giving him a confident grin and answering, "Of course not, my dear Remus. I share my fun." This was quite a forward statement that she had spoken comparatively to what he was accustomed to. And somehow he liked it. However he wouldn't let it go to his head. This was neither the time nor the place to become distracted easily.
Curving his ears back towards his pursuant, he kept his gaze locked on the ground in front of him in case he needed to avoid any obstacles that would make him trip.
As he watched, Hat was in action, and, as they'd recently discovered, they had an unexpected ally in the group of intruders. The black female was coming up behind them as well. Though it seemed like the odds were in their favor, a trained soldier never underestimated his opponents in battle. He especially held concern for the new female in their mixed mob of enforcers. She seemed fairly young amongst them, and though he never held those of the fairer sex in a spotlight of low status, he wary for the younger generation when it came to confrontations of severe consequences such as life or death.
A sly smirk crossed his features as he realized that he'd successfully agitated the canid with his little bump and had gained it's attention. The sudden absence of the key sounds of the chase at his heels signaled that his enemy was now airborne. As it leapt forward, he stopped short. The shepherd could feel it's hot breath on his neck as it soared over him, missing his fangs, however he felt the dog's sternum bash against his skull in the process.
The blow dazed him for a second, causing him to stop short in a brief stagger, and he could taste copper in his mouth. It seemed he accidentally bit his tongue and his sharp fangs had pierced into the oral muscle. The flow of crimson depleting as it was washed away by saliva, he grinned and began trodding forward in a crouching run into the fray once more.
Remarking with a snide, almost lecturing tone that one would use to chastise a child, he said, "Not nice to try to tek somevon vhile zhere beck is turned." Lunging forward, he dove under Hat as she made her ascent towards the assailant's neck. Parting his jaws, he reveled in a snarl that purred past his lips as he aimed for the canine's hind leg...
---
It didn't take Fabius long to figure out that he was in his own fight alone. Remus had gone gallivanting off to fight alongside Hat, and the new found ally amongst them as well. This was fine with him, however. Nothing boosted his ego more than a one on one battle, and this one in particular seemed like it would get interesting fast.
The white male managed to avoid his first strike by hurdling him like a fence, but the doberman was trained and wouldn't be so easily outwitted. Slamming on the breaks, he flashed an almost pleased grin as his opponents fangs met his flesh.
Fabius wasn't an average individual, and only a fraction had to do with his obvious mechanical modifications. In order to support such a hefty framework, he had been given many high doses of experimental steroids that strengthened not only his musculoskeletal system, but is very skin. Sure he's not bullet proof, but needless to say it would take more than some tooth and claw to leave a serious scar. The side effects of the drugs even seemed to leave a mild Novocaine sensation throughout his outermost layers of flesh, giving him a high degree of pain tolerance. And this knowledge made him bold.
While he observed what attempts the dog would do to inflict pain on him, he pivoted in a tight semicircle, drawing the dog closer as he set up for his next movement. Practically going into a full out body roll, he half reared as his body turned, bringing his mechanized limb around like a battering ram towards the canine's skull...
---
"This. epically. sucks." Revy couldn't help but voice her thoughts of displeasure as she kept to herself several yards from the den. Her moderately reddish, mahogany gaze lingered off in the direction her father and 'uncle' had disappeared, and wished nothing more than her being with them in the stitch of it all. She may be able to occupy her... unique sense of entertainment with practice fights and hunting. But as she thought of the real things... the adrenaline.. the scent of blood.. it made her muscles tense as if she were about to strike.
Gradually, she came to realize the sudden fog that had gathered where it had once been clear, and the ground had taken on a distinct reddish tone... She had spaced out again. Her mother had offered what knowledge she had to explain what happened when she got this way. Yet the more the pup experienced, there was a side of her that wanted it to stay... Her brother, Kaiju, has it too.. in his own special way, and either of then seemed to deal with it differently.
She practically jumped out of her skin when she heard the distinct chiming tone of her sister's voice, thrusting her back into reality again, "Are you going to sit over their sulking all day?"
The young doberman brought her ears to meet towards the base of her skull as she snorted and replied in a vague tone, "Maybe." Shifting her paws once, she leaned her weight to her opposite side, sitting on them at an angle that made her hinds splay away from her. Quietly, she repeated for what seemed to be the seventh time since their father's departure, "It's not fair..."
The matching violet spheres that made up her eyes rolled sarcastically as Mercy listened to the repeated statement from her sibling once again. Snorting her own haughty response, she stated what she viewed as the obvious in attempt to curb Rev's dismal mood, "Well at least we have a job this time," she looked over at the trembling black pup that hadn't uttered a word since they arrived, "and if anyone strange comes, we're the only line of defense. Maybe you'll get to fight after all."
Even though she was slightly enthused by this notion, Revy didn't even flinch away from her blank staring, and Mercy took the silence as assurance enough that her sister wasn't going to be difficult this time.
With that she focused her attention onto their charge for the time being. Approaching the pup slowly, she gave a slight wag to her stub of a tail, hoping the other youngster understood she meant no harm. Sitting down neatly with her hind legs tucked under her, a contradiction to Revy's slumped posture, she mustered a friendly smirk as she addressed the spaniel, "I'm Mercy... and the grouch over there, "she jerked her head slightly in Revy's direction, "is my sister, Revy. What's your name, kid?"....

Blackened eyes with those pink pupils seemed to glow brighter as shi soon realized what was happening. A grinning scowl crept across hir face as shi dodged the black fae, turning hir head to bite the female's tail and throw her back the way she had come. And then kicked a large blue clawed foot at the male shepard as shi soon found hirself clasped on the back of the neck. Luckily that old leather shock collar was still there to save hir.
Turning to swat at the male and other female to make them go away for a few seconds, shi merely turned hir head up at an angle, just enough to give an evil sneer at Hat. Trying to take a pit fighter down was like trying to take a steroid bull by the horns and make them submit. Suddenly spinning around in a tight circle and faking a trip, shi intentional wanted to jerk the fae's body and latch onto any body part that came into reach of hir mouth. Right now shi cared no about the other two so long as this one was taught a lesson first.
[tricky trying to find the right play of words without sounding like a godmoder lol sorry took so long to reply. Work's been keeping me busy unfortunately]

Oni felt a tug on her tail, but knew that she would be slung back. After being tossed, the black she-wolf rolled on the ground, but soon stopping herself. Getting to her paws, Oni knew that she had lost some of her fur but at the moment all she cared about was helping this pack take down this monster.
The female wolf watched as the male shepherd was pushed back as well. Now that the female shepherd had a hold of the monster. The beast began to turn in a rather tight circle in order to get to the tan she-dog. Without hesitation Oni ran towards the monster, jumping up at the beast head. The black she-wolf lanched onto the beast's ear tightly, hoping that this would get the monster's attention while the female shepherd had time to get away. "This thing isn't like anything I've ever seen before."

Abby was startled by the voice of the young pups. She slowly glanced up at the pup called "Mercy". "M...My na...name is...Abby. It...is very....nice to...meet you. Who...who were....those two...males...that were....here eariler? As...well as....the brave....female who....left me here?" Shacking with each word as the plump black pup spoke. It had been a long while since she had talked to another pup. Mercy and her sister seemed to be friendly but Abby was in no way ready to move quickly in getting to know others. The fighting continued, the sound of snarls and growls echoed through the trees. The spaniel pup closed her eyes tightly as the sounds echoed. If there was nothing in this world that she most certainly didn't like it would be fighting.
Mean while Cannibal was not about to be defeated by any means. Fabuis, he pivoted in a tight semicircle, drawing the dog closer as he set up for his next movement. Practically going into a full out body roll, he half reared as his body turned, bringing his mechanized limb around like a battering ram towards the canine's skull... The white-blue mohawked male saw the attack coming. Grunting with pleasure that the fight might actually be more interesting than what he had orginally expected. Canni instantly released the doberman's flesh and rolled away from the male before the attack could hit him. Getting to his paws, Cannibal smirked at the doberman and lunged at him yet again.

Hat's jaws managed to grab a hold onto the back of the "he-she" creature's neck. Don't let go she thought to herself as she tightened her grasp, with leather collar and all. Though she had to admit the collar did piss her off, it was not enough to make her mind clouded. No, not Hatshepsut. She always made the best out of any situation out in the battle field.
The blue clawed creature then proceeded to jerk its body about, trying to "shake" the Egyptian female off its black and purple body. If it was something the tan Alpha knew, was to control her body. She kept her two fore feet pressed against the shoulder blades of the creatures, to allow herself more power of her body. Her hind legs, though not as stabilized as her forelegs, never reached the beast's jaws.
The tan German Shepherd now began to tug and rip into flesh even more, seeing as the beast made her move more. A lose-lose situation for the trespasser. How dumb.

Mercy
Smiling patiently, she listened carefully to catch the words the pup spoke between each stutter that filtered from her quivering body. The two mahogany points at her brow creased above her striking violet eyes that glanced off in the direction her pack mates had disappeared as the spaniel questioned her about them. Without missing a beat, Mercy exclaimed with an air of pride as she made the introductions of them in their absence, "The one that looked just like us was our dad, and the other male was Uncle Remus, though he's not really related to us.. but we call him that anyway. And I'm not sure who brought you here... we only have two adult females in our pack right now. If she was a doberman like us-"
Revy chimed in from her corner of sulking, "-and said any words we aren't suppose to hear." Mercy attempted to give her sibling a scolding look but only wound up giggling softly before continuing, "It was our mom, Kana. But if it was a female that kinda looked like Uncle Remus, she's our leader.. Hatshepsut."
The young Dobe was slightly confused by the spaniel's level of timidity. She was doing her best to give off a calm attitude so as not to frighten her. Of course Revy's bitter scoffs resonating from a few yards away didn't boost anyone's mood. Whatever situation Abby had been taken from had to have been pretty bad to make her so reserved. She could easily hear various snarling coming from the distance and silently hoped that her family, blood or no blood, were safe.
Distracted by ensuing sound of battles, she hardly noticed that she hadn't heard a peep from Revy in a few minutes, and turned to see what sort of small animal she was intent to terrorize, as she often did in boredom. However, when she went to look there was no animal at all. There wasn't even her sister where she was just moments before. Violet eyes widening to full circumference, she whipped her head around to see all sides of the clearing they were gathered in. She couldn't see Revy anywhere.
Loping a few paces forward, she hit the breaks instantaneously to look back where Abby was huddled. She couldn't just leave her there to catch her sister... wherever she'd wandered, though she had a sickening idea of just where. And she certainly couldn't ask her to go back towards the area that so visibly frightened her. With a surrendered sigh, she traipsed back towards the younger pup and sat down, gazing off in the direction where yet another member of her family had vanished with a new rock in her stomach. After uttering one of her mother's choice phrases for her father beneath her breath she spoke softly, "Dad's going to kill us.. then mom's going to kill dad.. I hope you know what you're doing Rev."
...
Fabius
The second swipe had failed, but Fabius wouldn't be put off yet. Pivoting his body, he made sure he was always facing his opponent, observing and on the defense. Sending his paws slamming down against the earth, his body following the movement with a fluidity that shouldn't match his muscular build. Sinking down into a crouch, he waited, as if in a surrendering posture, but his expression stated clearly that he wasn't backing down this early in the fight. As the other male approached, he could practically feel the breath against his face as he suddenly threw his head upwards. The action should send the solid plate of his skull up against the canine's lower jaw, slamming it shut and perhaps cracking a tooth if he aimed right.
However, he wasn't going to rely on chance alone. As his head snapped upwards, he lurched forward, jaws gaped towards flesh, desperate to nick any part of the enemy that he could manage to take hold. He was a former guard dog, trained to take any hit and never back down from a threat to his territory. This may no longer a lab that needed protection, the stakes were raised further than his past occupation. This was his home, his blood has shed into this soil, his children were born here, and he was prepared to defend it with his heart and soul.
...
Revy
If only he knew just how high the stakes were about to come. It didn't take a high amount of stealth to slip away from the den sight with her sister blathering on to the stray pup about their pedigree. She kept her nose raised to the air, following some innate drive as the stench of adrenaline formed an invisible mist throughout the atmosphere. If she didn't know any better, she could swear she heard the war drums of a number of quickened heart beats in the air as she moved closer.
Peering through the bushes, she surveyed the scene with an intrigued gaze, picking out the familiar shapes on the battlefield from the strange. One particularly nasty looking canid was being swamped by Hatshepsut and Remus, as well as another female she didn't recognize. They seemed to be handling things just fine, or at the very least had enough bodies to cover it.
Her focus intensifying, she searched the grounds for a figure more close to her. Her father. It didn't take long, as some distance away he was going one on one with another male. She snorted lightly in disappointment that there hadn't been a stitch of blood shed just yet. Either things weren't as interesting as she thought, or things were just getting started.
The drumbeats were getting louder in her skull as she watched longer. She knew it was her own blood pulsing in her ears, but it felt like more. A macabre chorus in her own thoughts, and soon she began to scent it. She couldn't see the blood but she could smell it, as if it just manifested from her own desire to witness it. It caused her body to go rigid and she froze, looking out to the clearing where the sound of the snarls joined the drums, enhancing the song. It was primal, and strange, something more than she'd experienced in mere practice fights. She craved until she couldn't stand it...
Breaking away from the treeline, she made a direct course for her father. There were too many in the other fight, and he wouldn't mind sharing... even if he did she didn't have the care in the world. The young Doberman was honed in, her sight growing narrow as she fixated onto the flank of the other dog as it lunged towards her kin. She didn't even feel her paws leave the earth when she jumped, mouth open with fangs newly broken from the gums and eager to test their strength...
...
Remus (*note - Remus is beginning to enter a false memory due to his PTSD resulting from several blows to the head. The plot thickens with randomness. x3)
He was truly getting old. That or careless, he realized as the canine's paw struck out to catch him in the temple. Reeling back, it was not the blow from his opponent that affected him quite as much as the impact with the ground as he tripped over himself. His ears were ringing, he just barely noticed this as he picked himself back off the ground. Taking a moment to gain back his barrings, he lay on the ground to avoid further gunfire as he allowed himself to get used to the noise. The shepherd couldn't allow himself to be on the ground long, however. He was still needed in battle.
Picking himself back up, he looked around quickly to target his opponent once more. The enemy troops must have paid a hefty some to gain this caliber of a fighting dog to take them out. That or he wondered from which village they stole it from and how they managed to keep their limbs when they did. Well they wouldn't best comrades in his platoon, they were German bred and highly trained. They would not win the war this way, he knew this much.
It didn't take long to spot the hound. He gave a satisfied grin as he observed Alexis keeping hold of its neck with the vigor of a skilled warrior. He could never understand how most of the other dogs in his barracks disrespected her so much simply because she was a female. The humans have seemed to grow in terms of understanding the value of their women on the battlefield, how is it that their canine's couldn't see it? If it wasn't that she could easily put many of them in their place when they mad a crude remark or lingering gaze, he'd have to enact the social change for himself.
Out of the corner of his eyesight, he also saw the black figure of Falkon, lunge towards it. He may be young, but not even the harshest wallop seemed to falter his demeanor. He'd taken on the young male as an apprentice during the earliest days of his training just before he had left Germany, and couldn't have been more pleased to stumble upon him in his own camp a year later. He could always find a friend in him, that one and he'd certainly grown since he was a pup.
He certainly wasn't going to let them take all the credit for taking down this interloper. Gaining his footing, the shepherd dove in for the opposite side. Stretching his forelegs outwards, he landed on the back off it like a lion taking down an antelope, trying to keep his grip, using both his teeth and claws, in order to weigh down it's hind quarters so the bucking wouldn't toss Alexis from its back. As he did so, he shouted encouragement to her, "Lassen Sie sich nicht gehen, Alexis, behalten Sie es!"
Remus Guide:
Lassen Sie sich nicht gehen, Alexis, behalten Sie es! = Don't let go, Alexis, keep on it!
Alexis, a dog from his past - Hatshepsut Falkon, another dog from his past - Oni
Note - He may be speaking more German in this "memory" because he didn't know as much english back then and most of the other dogs he was with came from Germany with him and understand it. He may also act different, as he was younger and less.. war torn (?) back then so not as grave and serious.
This is still present time, but he's not seeing/interpreting it that way. So any attacks he does still pertain to the present plot, however he may refer to the dogs in the thread by other names as they represent dogs from his past.

Perfect, this was always what most of hir training pertained when first forced to fight in the pits. Always getting whipped until hir mind twisted to a dark rage, forced to fight against the other dogs until shi could barely stand or the dogs played dead so shi would willingly drop to the ground until they would bring out another dog big enough to take hir on. The red and black pelted canine soon found hir head partially pinned with an ear hold, hir back end shortly being forced to drop with the added weight of the other German Shepard shi had kicked squarely in the head earlier. He was brave but stupid for getting up and rejoining this fight. Chuckling darkly with a deep gutteral growl in that throat, those eyes stared at Oni as a toothy grin slowly formed on hir maw. Shi watched every little emotion and thought run through the dogs head from the look in those eyes. Hir own eyes glinting with a promise of pure rage as shi moved in one quick and steady movement.
Taking adavantage of getting hir second wind, shi jerked hir head up and brought up a large paw down on the black pelted fae, reaching around and grabbing the other by the neck. Shi intened to shake him and throw him into the nearby brush. After having him away, shi stood up and grinned again, this time at the female on hir back tightening that leather collar and tickling the back of hir neck. "Hehehe, your puny teeth tickle small one. I'll show you what real teeth can do.." Talon chuckled darkly, the same as before when shi did it to Oni. Baring her fangs to the other two who seemed ready for more, shi spun around in the opposite direction, faked another trip, rolled onto hir back quickly and used all hir weight to hir advantage. The first body part shi found of the female shi snatched up and biit down on as hard as possible, wanting to make hir scream before killing hir.
