A massive Kodiak bear was lumbering along on all fours. His nose twitched as he smelled the scent of a female. There weren't just any sort of scents either, they were marks of territoty. A slow grin spread accross his maw, revealing a set of slightly dull yellow teeth. A grunt sounded from the massive bears belly. Blood was going to pour onto this dark land, he was going to make the dogs here leave and take this place as his own.

The nasty stench of a bear had been on her lands not a minute before the pure bred begun to run towards it. Her powerful legs pushed herself toward the wretched odor, the odor of the enemy. Heart pumping, jaws clenched as she made herself toward it. Wonder where the rest are thought the alphess, knowing that she hadn't seen not one of her pack members. Oh well, she would have to stand her ground, with or without their aid.
"What do you want!" Hatshepsut growled, stopping on top of a large boulder about 50ish yards away from the large intruder. Why did the giants always have to attack her lands? What, was their an advertisment that said that the Sanguine Hollows was up for sale or something? Hah, I dont think so.

A bitch barked at him. Already there was a dog around. He smelled her comming, but did not bother to move or ready himself. Black and brown eyes turned upon her, he face her. He smirked at her question and reared up to his full height...
A sudden force made him move forward slightly, irked at whatever had just caused him to break eye contact and possibly loose his first kill. A blue Dane stood before him, it was tall and proud. Defiant and bold, the wayward bear liked to kills these most of all. A set of yellowing teeth opened for the dogs face as the nameless animal bore down on him...

Her body was frigid as it stood low, on the boulder. Lids tightened around her eyes, as she glared into the beast's very own orbs. Her head lowered as if analizying him or readying herself for a fight. Before the brawl can begin, a flash of blue raced between herself and the intruder.
It was her noble Dance, Cerule. The dog who had metal for bones, and a male that the female actually admired. But she would not tell him straight up front, no. Not even if she wanted too.
Hatshepsut pushed her lean body off the rock, and swiftly landed on her feet. Her fur bristled, getting a funny feeling that the bear would strike at any given moment. And so, not to waste a stich of time, the exotic colored dog was off again. With great speed and aggression, she pushed the large blue dog out of harm's way, right before anything happened to them. Recovering from the impact, she quickly turned around facing the bear and saw the exposed side of it's neck. Quickly she lunged for it, hoping to hit her target

There was no warning. No sounds of approach. No signal or hint to her arrival. This was the way of the assassin. Kana had heard Hat's question and had come at her Boss's bidding, even if she wasn't truely called. It was loyalty. The swift doberman's body was a spear of black and brown, the three purple markings and two purple eyes stood out against her colorations. There wasn't time enough for the bear to see those of course, she'd launched herself straight off the side of a pile of rubble without a whisper. The wind was on her side yet the mud caked on her body hid her scent from fluttering towards the bear. It felt like three seconds in air before she straightened her leap.
The angle was adjusted. Assassin meant jaws were parted so that her teeth would slice as she passed the bear. Those ivory thorns would rip and tear until there was enough meat of the creature showing that she'd dig her muzzle in and hollow him out from the inside. Lovely tactic wouldn't you say? Well that was Kana. Dame of the Macabre Malitia.

((Ack! My post looks like christmas! Red, green, and white? hmm Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.... *sigh* oh well. On to postage!))
Two sets of paws raced through the thickets towards the clearing, the scents and sounds of an intruder whispered to them on the breeze. One was powerful yet quick, an unnatural structure set into his sleek, black body, the other, light and silent, lead the charge. Breaking out of the trees, they didn't signal their arrival, they didn't even pause for orders from their boss. The pair attacked the great bear head on and without hesitation, formulating plans and communicating them to each other with fleeting glances.
Fabius used his mechanically and chemically enhanced strength and powerhoused himself straight at the standing beast's legs, jaws agape to hit the flesh behind its knees. If nothing else, he wanted to hit it well enough to knock it off balance or imobilize it. As Fabius hit low, Remus aimed high. He watched as Hat made her own attack at the bears neck and quickly shifted his course so he woudn't interscept her assault. As he had approached the beast, his eyes picked up on the cloudiness in one of the bears. It was half blind. Launching his lithe, muscular body, he floated like a ghost, but planned to hit like a rock. The shepard's lips formed a snarl, but there was no growl as he dove at the right side of the bears face, teeth exposed to tear at its head. A risky move yes, but what does it say about a soldier if he is not prepared to take them?

The nameless one did not relent his attack on the dogs. His jaws turned to grab the female as she was in the air. Then he swiped a massive paw at the blue colored Dane. A blurry of motion swiped past his good eye and a trail of his fur descended to the ground. A sleek doberman cut easily through his thick fur, her teeth barely grazed his thick skin, however.
He felt something bite down into the back of his leg. It was too late for the bear-formally-known-as-Bernard. The ex-circus bear felt the unusually strong dog tear fur from his leg. An hazy dark image sailed toward his nearly blind eye, yet he had already turned his head to bite the female. The unknown figure bite onto a notched and scarred ear with no feeling.

The German Shepherd went so quick that she could not change the course of her action. And so when the bear saw her jaws coming, she tried to push herself off him and escape it's very own jaws. Though she did this, it wasn't 100% clean. The damned thing managed to cut a slash onto the side of the alphess' muzzle.
Blood had been shed, from both the intruder and the leader. But as much as her muzzle stung her, she was only beginning. As she stepped back to "inhale" the scene, she noticed another dog. It was her kind, another German Shepherd. A male, German Shepherd. She cocked her head to the side as she saw him put his agility and courage to the test. Not bad she cooed in her head, actually admiring the male dog's actions.
Hatshepsut quickly shook her head after a few moments. She needed to think, and fast. Her long ears perked as she got an idea. The boss bolted towards the bear, and with a silent growl, she zig zagged herself in front of it. Every so often she would try to nip at the thing, or pretend to. Hopefully the bear would become agitated and chase the quick dog

Good. She sighted her frenemy and yet more friend, Fabius. Oh how she loved to torment him, but she appreciated him deeply. Kana had bonded a bit with him during their outing where karma was catching up with the assassin. In the end they had made it out... though the massive scar on her right hind thigh showed just how close they had come to death. A stick had speared into her leg, he had almost drowned. They'd been through Hell and still came out the other side. She trusted him and owed him her life, but he did to. Kana didn't let anything slide.
Hat launched a second attack after nearly escaping the jaws of the bear while Fab had an ear and Remus had a leg. While Hat and the other two distracted the bear she slid silently closer, yet keeping from clawing distance. As if she was going to launch for his face the doberman charged at his bad eye. Before attacking she ducked down underneath him. Her jaws thrusted upwards, going to shred and tear the underbelly of the massive creature with her thin body folded close to the ground. If he tried to crush her she'd slip out the side and attack from the flanks. Easy peasy... as long as she slid out fast enough. Getting stuck underneath a bear did NOT sound fun.

Alright, we are skipping Mercy right now just to keep this thread going. Mercy, you can always post when its your turn again, you'd probably wouldnt even have to wait that long considering this thread only has four people in it.

The bear was beginning to get irritated at all that was happening. A paw swatted at the creature that had latched onto his head.He preformed an act that he was taught while in the circus. The large bear summer-saluted to be away from the encirclement of all the dogs, he purposely slammed a leg against the ground as he reared up to his full height.. The great Dane barely made it out of the way, but he intended to crush any others left standing.

Her actions were futile as the bear grew agitated. Honestly, Hatshepsut did not care if they really damaged the intruder. The shepherd just wanted it out of her territory. The exotic looking boss froze on the spot as she felt the bear stop. It's gonna blow she thought, knowing to keep a safe distance while it did so.
A summer sault was preformed by the bear to get her kind away from it. Hatshepsut stopped and an idea came to mind. Hopefully it talked she thought to herself. She took the risk of trotting where the bear was and standing only about five yards she spoke,"Hey, intruder. Do you have a tongue?" she asked with an air of dominance and of great stature
