Blood. The scent of blood. Entoxicating, entizing, aluring, and addictive. At first it was just a drop of color in a snow storm. As the flurries dyed to the ground it was revealed. A flash of neon green and purple misplaced the white lace that covered the Southern Alps. Then red. Lots and lots of red. An akita, fierce in every right, loomed from the dawn's darkness. Her black fur was colored brilliantly and her orange eyes seemed luminous in the white scene. Blood dripped from her jaws, marking the path behind her. Two black hawks followed her, letting out sharp screeches like battle cries for her arrival. So grand, so dark, so sadistic in a mere walk. What would the air feel like if she were fighting if it was this dark just by appearing? Maybe it was the stench of blood and chemicals she reeked of? Tonic Cyanide.
"So boys y'all see these Mountain Dogs? Y'all led me up here now find em!"
The hawks dipped their wings, cawing for a beast they had seen to many times for their own sanity's sake. Wilska. The black beast was who the fae, Tonic, wished to see so why not? It was her death sentance, not theirs they figured. Mean while, Tonic shook her head. Blood splattered the snow and as she walked she wiped her muzzle clean on the snow. It wasn't her blood. The smell was of bear. The damn thing had messed with her in the middle of a Contact Post Cognition she'd been in. Tonic had been able to see Wilska's pack from the object just in time to evade the bear. It had been quick work of the bear afterwards. Not it was a smudge of red on white lace and she was a demon in an angel's nightmare.

A tall, overly thin and oddly colored doberman pinscher stood in a tree, watching the colorful akita run through the snow below. The doby did not belong to any pack, and didn't ever plan to. He watched, through glimmering blue eyes, as the Japanese dog followed two hawks. He heard her speak to the birds, and he raised an eyebrow. Mountain dogs, huh? He thought to himself. Sounds fun ... With an evil smirk, he followed the akita through the trees, never taking his eyes off of her.
After awhile of following, he decided he had enough of a new story to tell her that would back up any question she might ask. He had been busy sizing her up, determining where her strong and weak points were, and how much of a threat she was to him. He knew enough. Casually, he lept out of the tree in front of her, to her right. "Why hello there .. What's a colorful akita like yourself doing in a place like this?" He pretended to look around before laying his eyes on her. They were "friendly", or as "friendly" as his eyes could possibly look, maybe a little suspicious. His smile never faltered, and his bright blue eyes and white fur glowed brightly, almost like a light, in the dark evening atmosphere.
"Sorry for the brief introduction," He started in a kind voice, even though he didn't even introduce himself at all, "But you seem to be lost. Are you looking for something?" He sounded very kind, and he watched her, waiting for her response.

She grinded her teeth, shaking off crystals that clung to her muzzle. Tonic didn't mind the cold all that much, but it was getting ridiculous. She picked the perfect day to come here didn't she. The hawks glanced at each other, more afraid of the akita than the ice forming on their wings. The reason they were even doing this was because she jumped up and caught them! Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
"If we don't get there soon... know what happens if the right feather is plucked? One breeze on your next flight and you'll go down like bomb shells!" They gulped, fighting against the wind again. Luckily they had a reason to land. A new dog. Tonic caught up in seconds with them, just in time to stop before the new male landed on her. Her colorful fur was released with a violent shake of her hide. Both glowing orange eyes narrowed on the doberman. What was a short furred dog doing out here and why was he glowing? The only question that mattered to Tonic was wether he knew where Wilska's pack was or not. "One. Doesn't matter to you unless the name Wilska rings a bell. Two. Fuck off the gentleman act, I can read right through people. Oh and... been eating fireflies? You know that saying you are what you eat, right?" Cyan shifted her weight to the left and grinned, running through some quirky remarks. That one had been good enough for her. In the back of her mind she ran down any type of defense or attack that would help her if he got rough. No one messed with the chemically stained bitch who still had heed for their own life. Maybe that was how these bastards of the wild thought. Oh well, he'd learn if he tried anything. Having Zorro as a boyfriend had come in handy, she knew most of his tricks. Only stuff she didn't know was how to use the dagger he carried with him. "You didn't introduce yourself you dumbass. Sure as hell I'm lost. These bird brains are bird brains. If you can help, I'm looking for the Mountain Dogs... leader's name's Wilska. If you can't help then leave me the hell alone." Tonic Cyanide was pissed at the wind, the cold, the birds, and the idiot keeping her with the other three longer than need be. Her green stripes and orange eyes glowed almost as fiercly as his. Her gift allowed her to read intentions rather well. Histories defined people, caused their actions and reasonings and intentions. She didn't feel like feeling around on him to get a vision. The akita's eyes pierced through his, in way reading his soul. She narrowed her eyes. "Got an answer Glow Worm?" occ-Don't you love his new nickname XD Glow Worm HA

JP ignored the rudeness and just smiled, hardly ever even blinking as he listened to her. His blue eyes seemed to glow, as if bioluminescent. "Well!", he started in a joyous voice "Someone's in a bad mood x3 " He began to walk around to her side, watching her and explaining "I'm certainly not part of Wilska's pack, but I do know him. ^^ " He said, turning to walk back in front of her. He looked up at the birds, still smiling. "Those birds can be a real pain when it comes to help, that's for sure." He smiled back at the stranger. He ignored her comment about his glowing fur, and figured she'd drop it if he didn't acknowledge the comment.
Through the dark light, he saw her chemical stains, which were much like his. His eyes shifted to the left as he walked around her again, and, though smiling, remembered just how he got those stains and burns. Good thing she can't see mine, though .. He though. He stopped walking, then turned on a dime and looked at her. "So, you're looking for Wilska? I can help you if you wish." He gave her a long, straight smile, showing no teeth and no sign of aggression, maybe more of a playful expression than anything. "What's your name?" He asked, still smiling, and tilting his head just slightly.

Tonic's eyes watched every twich of a muscle or rustle of a single piece of fur as he moved around her. The akita's fur rustled in the wind, snow crytals catching onto it every now and then. Her thick, curled tail unfurled. It became a rigid, straight line behind her. Her ears turned to follow him, but her head stayed still as her eyes moved with him.
"For your information... I live to be in a bad mood. It's one third my personality as well." She said that without a hint of remorse. It was true, she was a frozen hearted bitch without any reason to be kind to anyone. In her eyes, no one deserved it. She wondered faintly why JP's eyes glowed. He didn't respond to her lovely little joke, did he think she was so lame as to just drop it? Did he think she did that to spur anger or a laugh? Nope, it was all in her own quest to entertain herself without bloodshed. Insults and nicknames were a joy for her to play with, really pissed some dogs off. Thus causing a fight... but did she care? Nope again. "Well the birds are proving more helpful than you at the moment." She glared at him as his circling continued. Tonic snorted ice crystals off her muzzle as her orange eyes followed his every step. So he knew Wilska and he was offering to help? The akita decided why not, if he attacked she'd tear his guys out. Nothing was going to deter her path. "Tonic Cyanide. I go by Tonic however. I have no need to know your name, I'll just call you Glow Worm." Lead away...

"That's fine!" His face lightened up. He gave a smart look and commented "Obviously following the birds was not a great choice. They're leading you around the mountain! You want to go up the mountain." He turned to the north and looked off into the distance for a few silent moments. He gave an evil grin while his back was turned from Tonic, before lightening up again and looking back at her. "Well! Best be off!"
He began to walk up the mountainside at a steady pace, as if they weren't in 2-3 feet of snow and their wasn't a blizzard blowing down into their faces. "Keep up!" He called back in a pleased voice. Though he'd never actually been to the top of the mountain, but his logic told him that if there was a pack alpha that ruled this mountain, he'd most likely be at the top. It was already dark, and ahead of them, all they could see was snow and darkness. But JP didn't fret. Heh! Maybe she'll freeze on the way .. He thought, even the voice in his head joyous. He gave a mischievous/satisfied grin as he walked ahead.

Tonic rolled her eyes at his gleeful act. Still trying to trick her was he? Oh well, he'd learn through trial and error or he wouldn't and would end up a frozen carcass at the base of some forlorn cliff. The akita followed him, the hawks in slow pursuit behind her. Tonic's fur was thick and the cold seemed to slide off just like water.
"Well at least they don't talk..." She growled lowly to herself. The birds glanced at each other in worry. Apparently the dog didn't care to actually look for her where he said keep up. Little Ms. Cyanide was an akita. Native japanese dog with thick enough fur to take on the arctic. She was a foot behind him at the least, she'd be ahead of him if she knew where they were going as a matter of fact. Her body was so light she glided over the snow, her toes spalyed wide so her paws only sunk a couple inches into the new fallen snow. On occasion it would give in and an entire leg would go under, but she'd just pick up and keep moving. "So Glow Worm, how do you knoe Wilska? Why were you stalking me earlier? And where ya from." Tonic, in all truth, didn't give a fuck. However, she felt like filling the silence. The sound of icey wind got on her nerves, she preferred the sounds of agony and screaming. What the lithe female loved most was the rain. It calmed her, it was impossible for her to get angry on rainy days. Unfortunatly for this dumbass she hated snow. The cold, no problem; the snow, hateful white lace that if physically possible she'd love to watch bleed dry. Of course Tonic didn't think snow could bleed.

JP's ears flicked back while they treaded through the snow. He looked back over his shoulder ever so slightly at the Akita for a minute or two and then replied. "I know Wilska from awhile ago, Mrs. Tonic." He said in a happy sort of voice. "The giant alpha wanted me off of his land and threatened to kill me, sooooo I cut him a deal." He grinned back at her. "I promised that I would stay at the lower areas of his mountain and bring any possible recruits that crossed my path to him personally." He kept walking with his head held high. "Every time a new dog shows their face here, I'm the first to find them, and I'm the one who brings them to Wilska so that he can build his army. Does that answer your question, Ms. Akita?" He said, smiling back at her.
They were getting high up the mountain, and it was getting much steeper. His very strong sense of hearing caught voices carried on the wind from the very top of the mountain. We're getting close .. He though to himself. "As for the stalking part .." He chuckled "I had to observe you to make sure you were some sort of psycho killer first. Before approaching anyone, I'll follow them for awhile. It's nothing personal." He smiled at her and then pressed on. "We're getting near the top. You should mind your attitude, little Akita, Wilska can be easily offended." He smiled at the thought.
Up ahead, the top of the mountain was slowly becoming visible through his glowing night-vision eyes.

Mrs. Tonic? Now she felt like taking off his head. Tonic wasn't one for titles. Growing up on the streets taught her that titles came with respect. This male was stepping into very dangerous territory by goading her on.
"Not a Mrs, Glow Worm. Not one for titles either."
He continued talking, going over his mini-tale to answer her question. The mountain started sloping upwards. She started bounding, covering more ground with an occasional leap amoungst her normal walking. She preferred the city, no mountains to climb up. Maybe a steep hill or two, but never like this. It wasn't to hard, she was tall and rahter light so the going wasn't much of a struggle.
"Careful Glow Worm. I might be a psycho killer in diguise. As for attitude I know when to hold my tongue. With you I have no reason to of course." Finally they were at the top. Voices drifted to her ears and the tip of her lips pulled into a smile, narrowing her eyes in a smug grin. The brightly colored akita had finally got where she was going. Now it was just a matter of appealing to Wilska. If he saw her worthy she'd have it made. He hated orders, but she could take them. Plus she offered not only skill, but she also offered magic and information. What self-respecting alpha wouldn't take up the offer to learn weaknesses of another pack. Ebisu Pack in this case. Having powers helped too.

JP listened to her grumpiness and just smiled and chuckled quietly. Her horrible disposition was very amusing to him. Suddenly, he stopped. His smile ALMOST faded, but it was still there despite his distracted focus. Ahead, the voices were getting louder. After a minute of waiting, a short Finnish Lapphund and a tall male saluki appeared, walking towards them and talking. JP knew they hadn't seen either the dobermann or the akita, YET.
He turned to the akita, the wind blowing his ears in her direction. "This is as far as I can go. Talk to those two up ahead and they'll bring you to Wilska." He smiled kindly. "Nice meeting you, Ms. Tonic." He began to walk away, going back down the mountain, but at a sideways angle, to make sure that the lapphund and saluki didn't see him. Without looking back, he went on his way.
Ekki and Jouko approached and, catching sight of the akita's markings, became more cautious. "Look there, Ekki. A new comer.", came the laid back gazelle hound's voice. Ekki immediately laid her ears back when she saw that the new comer was an akita, the breed she hated most. "Oh great ..." She said, rolling her eyes before glaring, annoyed, at Tonic. She only saw the akita through one eye. The saluki, Jouko, didn't seem to care if she was an akita or not, but he understood Ekki's reasoning. He waited for Ekki to speak, as she was a higher rank than him.
"Akita. This territory is taken." Ekki demanded, in a very strong Finnish accent. "What's your purpose?" Her 'R's rolled and her 'S's were like that of a snake's hiss. Her tail was tightly curled, a sign of dominance. Jouko simply watched the akita, studying her expression. Harsh ..., he thought to himself. He shivered a little, his thin body and very short fur not meant for snow this cold.
