))Open to those who posted in the first joining thread. Being a hunter is not a requirement, you may simply spectate or converse within the pack lands if preferred.((
The breeze was cool, in their favor, perfect for a hunt. His subordinate had caught scent of deer and boar on the lands. Stark decided it was no better beginning of a pack than their first hunt. Perhaps he may even make a sport of it, a bit of friendly completion in preparation for a feast. Ohu's mountains had plenty of game these days, with summer on the air.
So it was with a howl and a call for his new found back that he announced the hunt had begun! "Let's go." The Beauceron could not help but grin at the thought of a good hunt. Turning towards a pair of boar tracks, he beckoned the hunters to follow before taking off down the mountain.

((Yay! I've been waiting for the Ohu pack to do something again! =D!))
The young saluki mix was just itching to do something. All day, well, every day actually since she had become a part of the great Ohu pack, all she could do was bounce around the territory looking for something to do. Something to make a great name for herself like her great ancestors. But there was nothing to do as of it which made her antsy. For her, she was bored, and boredom was never really good. She hated that. But as she lazed about by a river she suddenly sprung to her feet at the leader's howl. "The leader's calling!" Excited like a puppy with a new toy she rushed off towards the leader, her brothers following close behind.
"He's calling a hunt! Hurry up!" Taka continued to run towards her leader, following his scent and slowing down once she was close behind him. "Taka reporting for the hunt!" she said gleefully, standing as tall as her body would allow, brothers behind her. Without another word two of the three saluki mixes began to follow their leader and the tracks, spreading about to better ambush their prey when the time came. Their blind brother would stay behind, feeling he would only slow the hunt down. Although he was certainly capable of hunting smaller game on his own.
Mmm I love boar meat Taka thought with a lick of her maw.

A few weeks into her journey, Latika had not retrieved any scent of a packland. Either she was bad at looking, or she wasn't looking in the right places. Earlier, she knew she had crossed over a boundary line into a packland. The smell of the border was quite rank to her, so it had been a big give away. She had purposely intruded into the packland to be caught, and hopefully the wild dogs that had caught her would accept her into their pack. Then the thought of her collar finally came to mind. Wild dogs wouldn't want a human's ex-pet in their pack, would they? Latika didn't have much experience with dealing with wild dogs, except for the pack that she had come across when she was a puppy. Then again, she was a puppy, so they might've been only acting nice to not cause attention to themselves.
Running through in a constant gait, Latika finally ceased the moving of her paws, and her head whipped around in three different directions. The scents where everywhere, though no one was around. Her nose wasn't the greatest either, when she had been living with her human master for some time, she could barely get the whiff of fresh food in her bowl. All she really had was her hearing, eyesight, and her speed. She blamed her disability on the fact of her being a mixed breed.
Her long, and furry ears perked up at the sound of a dogs howl. Even though the howl rang through most of the land around her, she could tell that the howl came from her west. Latika wasn't knowlegable about the many kinds of howls either, though she was going to take this chance and hopefully get the attention of the dog that had made the howl. She listened closely again, hearing some small barks. It seemed like the howl was alerting others about something. From where she was, she couldn't feel any slight thunder of running paws. She had to get closer.
Taking another long sniff of the air, making sure she was going in the right direction, she caught a scent of a dog that had crossed the same path some days earlier, and she took off with great speed in the direction, darting and dodging trees, leaping over rocks and logs that would come into her path. Being mostly Borzoi, she knew that she could run for some time. For her, it would be enough for her to catch up to the many dogs running to meet the others.

One step at a time, that all it took to make a journey; though one couldn't call the pit bull's aimless walking much of a journey. Jishin had heard rumors floating about that there was another pack in Ohu, the land of long lost heros. it wasn't like he was wanting to be a hero, he knew he never could. For the male couldn't fight to save his life; which is quite sad for one of his breed. But he did have a wonderful mind, a very useful mind. And maybe that could be of some help to the new leader of the pack.
As he made his way through the landscape, he wondered if he was even in the right place; the directions he had gotten from some young stray were less then helpful. He finally stopped at a small stream and lowered his head to lick up some of the cool water. Well, I'm in someone's territory, that's for sure. Jishin had passed a mark little over 30 minutes ago; though it would of helped to know who's territory he was in. He feared that it belonged to an aggressive canine. He let out a small sigh and stared back at his refection, and once again he thought of his mysterious past.
He didn't have a single clue who, or what, he had been. All his memories had been erased, or locked away, but either way, they were gone. All he had to go by was the recurring nightmare he had, and from that, he often wondered if it was just better that the memories stayed lost. His slightly flopped ears perked as much as the could as a howl came toward him. His head lifted and he looked around, the howl didn't sound too far away. And with new energy, he ran in the direction the howl had come. Who needs forgotten memories when I can make make fresh ones.
He skidded to a stop when he pushed through the foliage and nearly collided with another dog. "S-sorry," his ears rolled back and pinned to his skull as he looked over the larger male. His gaze wandered slightly to see a few other dogs coming up, following.. Crap, this must be the leader. It was just his luck to almost crash into the new leader of Ohu, well, at least he had found him.
