I believe in you [ CHALLENGE ] Dark Faith Pack

[Paris-Sama]

Red orbs glowed from behind some foliage. Although it was summer, a disturbingly cold wind blew through the Southern Alps that day. The sun shone down and illuminated the pale pelt of a crouching form. A female Akita, only two tones and blood eyed. It carried the marks of many battles on its face and its muzzle was twisted into a snarl and it stalked forward. The snarl faded into a stern frown and the creamy two toned fur flowed in the wind and it once again twirled down to meet the form there. On the front paws where two tight bandannas and one the back legs, two tight bandages. The tail curled loosely and formally over the powerful back, shoulder where thrown out and back and the head was powerful and elevated. This was Paris and the work "good" was not in her dictionary.

Paris looked around her for a while, scenting the air and stepping forward a few paces. there had been dogs here, but not for a long time. She grinned in a sinister fashion as she thought of what lay ahead of her. She had made a den here, just behind her. What looked like a bush, was actually a burrow of sorts, warm and large enough for a big female like her. Paris lifted each of her feet in turn and took of her accessories and placed them back in her den, then turned and paced out again.

She wasn't hungry, just slightly nervous. Today was the day she had been waiting for, to try and claim her own territory. The Southern Alps of all the lands here. No matter, they where perfect for her. Had not Hougen and his brother Genba held them until greed over took them and killed them both? It would not be the same for Paris.

Taking a running jump, her paws made contact with the ledge surface as planned and she just stood there for a while, testing the wind. Now.

Her head bent down to the side and then was flung up again as a deep, bass howl was ripped from the caverns of her chest. A clear challenge to anyone. She was Paris from the South, here to claim the Southern Alps. Anyone who tried to stop her would be killed.
And with her new pack behind her, Paris' confidence grew.

Dark Faith Pack Rally!!

A rodent sized terrier flung his head to the sky's as a familiar howl echoed though the tree's. His brown eyes rolled as he debated to follow his lunch or find Paris. A quiet sigh escaped his mouth as he began his assent, higher up the mountain. His brow low with a look of determination the little dog jumped up the steep areas of the cliff side, preferring that challenge than the long way round.

The trees spaced on the rocky soil, that was when Mole First felt the strong wind, hindering his jumping. Only a little way to go as the ground softened to earth once again. The black and tan terrier was now steadying his pace to a fast trot being careful were he placed his small paws in the rough and windy terrain.

The world looked different for a terrier that could use rabbit warrens as personal tunnels, anything could be seen as a threat and strong wind is a great enemy. The wind blew towards him, it was wild but he could catch the sent of a dog when the wind calmed for a moment.

More trees laid in his path again, once he entered the shade of the tree's the wind was less hindering and the sent of a dog was more constant.

He ran on tirelessly towards the sent, first finding a den before carrying on following the strongest sent. It was ahead he could see the shimmering gold pelt of who had howled.

"Malady" Mole said from a small earthy clearing, He had a small almost sly grin as he gave a very short bow before standing proudly again. His tail as always pointed to the sky showing he was a dominant figure. His eyes looking powerful even in such a small body, his soul was far larger than his physical being.

Paris' ear flicked to the voice that sang up to her and her head turned quickly and she stared down to the smaller dog below her, ruby eyes glinting something sinister in the cold light. The single scar on her muzzle stood out somewhat and Paris oddly enough found it sensitive to the wind. She had been up here for some time now, so what could she excpect. It had been snowing a little while ago and now the pale akita shook the snow from her thick coat and stood stock still whilst she adress the smaller dog in front of her. For some reason, she already had respect for him and now was not a good time to make enemies. She raised her yebrows and her voice was cool and detached.

Hello there. I take it this is not your land which I challenge for? My call must have told you my name, so may I ask of yours? she said politely.

She had not missed the cunning in this smaller dogs eyes and she hoped it could be used for good. She shifted her position again slightly, and one ear was held to the side and another stright forward, giving this other male her full attention.

Mole stood perked but still wasn't any higher than Paris's back leg. "Nope" Mole said sharply answering her first question, "I'm Mole, Leader of the Terrier Pack " He chirped proudly puffing his little fluffy chest out.

"Ha here you are stumpy!" Barked a slightly larger thiner terrier, This terrier had a cheerful smile on his face and a merry walk. "Weasel" Mole said glumly his hackles raising slightly, he didn't even turn to acknowledge his brother.

Weasel swaggered happily to his brother side, smiling charmingly at Paris. He sat by his brother holding his head high, he could easily look over his brother as there was about a 4 inch difference between them. "I thought I told you to watch father?" Mole said between his teeth. Weasel gave him a confused look, there was a uneasy silence before Weasel replied, "Oh yeah, don't worry Rattys with him" He barked giving Mole a over-the-top smile, before looking back at Paris.

Mole sighed and looked at Paris, he didn't want to start his typical fight with Weasel infront of her, though Weasel was asking for one. "My brothers and I bore easily, Your howl sounded threatening, if you plan to brew a war we'd love to play to" Mole said sitting down calmly every so often looking at his brother with a dark glint in his eye.

A young terrier with dark tan fur waited and waited for Mole and Weasel to return but he was bord but did as he was told.

Paris sat down and yawned and then stared down at them, her red eyes glinted in the growing darkness as she focused her attention on Mole and Weasel. Mole was obviously the leader but Weasel seemed to be...she sighed inwardly, she couldn't put her paw on it but she didn't trust Weasel, something would have to be done about it. But that could wait, for now she might as well tell them what she had planned.

Indeed. Boredom isn't something I indulge myself in, but that aside, yes, I could be considered a threat. I want to rule the Southern Alps with my pack and your offer sounds interesting.

She paused for a moment tilting her head to the side and a devious look came into her eyes although her expression never changed. Narrowing her eyes against the cold she looked straight at Mole.

It's not a war I want to start. But you seem to be the leader of your pack and you have more spirit than many credit you for. If you would like, you may rule with me as Alpha male and our packs combined strength could aids us both an we could keep this land. It would be a shame to have to fight when we could become allies mused the Akita.

She stood again, her tail curling neatly over her hind and the thick chain around her neck twinkled in the fading light, reflecting around her. She only had bandages on her back legs since for a fight, her bandannas would just get in the way.

Weasel looked uneasy, as well as slightly angry all this Female did was talk to Mole. He huffed before the conversation was over and walked away.

Mole watched his brother leave, a pleased grin on his face he new his brother would leave once the attention was off him. "Now that sounds like a good preposal" Mole said with a smile, "Joining forces has its advantages" Mole said letting his eyes wander skywards. His smile turned to a frown, "I'm Sorry" Mole said shaking his head and standing up. "But I need to find my own territory, though I'll fight if you ever need me" Mole said before turning tail and darting though the bushes and disapeared quickly.

Mole soon cought up with Weasel, "So bro? any luck or are we moving on?" Weasel said with a smile. "Shutup" Mole snarled, "Now lets get the others" Mole said running ahead of Weasel.

They came to a small clearing and spotted Buddy "Buddy!" "Buddy, sorry we took so long" Mole said. "It was Moles fault" Weasel added with a smile as he walked up to Buddy. "Hate to say it but we've got to move on again" Weasel said grinning at Mole wagging his tail. "if I were leader we'd have territory by now" Weasel said under his breath laying on the ground.

Buddy ignored what Weasle had said about being leader for he knew Mole was doing the best he could to find a territory for the pack.Buddy admired Mole for his hard work."Its ok I didn't mind waiting for you two."Buddy said calmly.

Mean while another pack of dogs was headed towards the group of Terriers and the pack's leader happened to be a relative of the Great Dane Brothers Hougen and Genba who once ruled the Alps with their blood thristy blood pack.

(( Is this other dog pack going to challenge Paris? Not the terriers the other one))

Paris nodded in understanding and then looked to the sky. The land was as good as hers now and it was time to hunt and rest. Winter was on the way and her small pack needed to be strong if they were going to survive the cold. She yanwed and nodded at Mole as he departed and she herself left the rock she was standing on and went quickly down the hillside to her den. Once outside though, Paris turned around and uttered another howl, but this one was different. It was one to rally the Dark Faith Pack to this position. This would be their base and from here they could move on.

((No this pack is not a rival pack wanting to take over the alps they want to become allies.))

Fury who was a young german shepherd who's dark red and orange fire marking fur heard the howl and soon headed to meet up with Paris.

The other pack of dogs approached the terriers from the shadows that surrounded the land.

She caught the scent of one of the pack members. One of the newer members that had joined in the last few moons. It was Fury, the young German Shepard Dog. Despite what Paris had thought when she had first seen him, she knew the male had talent and potential. She dipped her head to him as he approached and fixed him with a ruby stare. Her tail flowed from side to side but was held high in the status of a leader.

"Ah, Fury. First to arrive, I see. Never one to disappoint were you?" she praised him and then flicking her tail and showing him into the den. He was welcome in there for a while.

"As you have heard, the Southern Alps are ours but we need more pack members. I'll tell you more when others arrive."

Another young german shepherd was Haze who's black plet with shades of white fur shined in the moonlight heard the howl from his leader and raced to meet up with her hoping that he would beat Fury the young female german shepherd who had joined before him to the leader"I have to beat Fury to Leader no matter what.Haze told himself aloud.Fury nodded back at Paris and walked into the den without speaking.

Back with Mole and his terrier pack the other pack of dogs now showed themselves to the terriers.The young great dane approached them first his white pelt with black markings shined in the moonlight which made him stand out more than the rest of his pack.The great dane looked at the terriers"My name is Kensei.Who are you?"the young great dane asked the terriers.

Weasel and Mole both raised there hackles defencively, they were both cought off guard. "Mole" Mole said looking at the large canine ahead of him, Mole lowered his hackles as Kensei didn't look to be a threat, yet. "Thats Weasel and Buddy" He said walking to stand infront of the impressive Great Dane.

Weasel didn't like this Kensei character, and he didn't like Mole giving his name so freely. He didn't lower his hackles and became rather concerned on were his father and sister could be. He sat down his brown eyes focused on the great dane as he "HOWLED" for Ratty and Gold. It was only a short howl, and Mole gave him dirty looks for doing it. But he wanted to know were they were.

Kensei looked at the terriers and gave a short laugh.He looked at Mole."You'll have to forgive me.But you little dogs don't seem like much to me,but I admire your bravery.I just happen to be wandering around when a howl was released and the scent of dogs came to me.I followed the scent and came here but now the other scent is what I'm looking for I would be greatful if you and your friends will take me and my pack to the place where the howl was released and from there we should be able to find the source of the howl."Kensei said with an evil smile.

Buddy stood his ground not showing any weakness in his stance.Buddy was ready if he had to fight.He stared at the Great Dane and didn't like his smug look or the way he this canine acted.Buddy's fur stood on end as he began to grawl low in his throat from the site of the great dane.

Haze finally arrived and as he looked around he didn't see Fury anywhere.He approached Paris as he tried to regain his breath but as he came close to Paris he saw Fury within the den.

Fury was sitting close to the back of the den,her eyes had been closed until the scent of Haze to her.She opened them and stared at Haze with hateful eyes.She soon closed her eyes and turned her head away as to say to Haze that he was an idoit who thought he could beat her at anything.

Haze's ears became flat to his head and he looked down from Fury's gaze once she turned her head.He knew deep inside that he could never beat Fury unless she slipped up.He also knew that she never needed any help unless she really was in deep trouble and really needed help.But no matter how much Haze didn't want to admite it but he admired Fury for her strength and blutness.Haze looked at Paris.
