Ekki twitched, ears flicking. She listened to the dane mix, the bucket still in her mouth. She decided to play the part, to see what the dane was like. "Those scars all over your body suggest a fighter or a dog who really has safety issues." She said in a level voice.
Her eyes never left those of the dane. Her muscles were ready for any sort of movement needed, but her body was not tense nor did it show tension in any way. "And as for this bucket ...", she began, then stopped to think about it. "Well, I have my own ideas."
She looked past the dane mix towards the door. She saw another body there, but she didn't really have great concerns for it. "And now, if you'll just let me passed." She said as she began to cautiously walk around the brute, her fur rubbing up against the wooden stall doors.

Dark, round ears flicked silently to catch the conversation going on around him. Relieved but wary of how the large male had reacted to the situation. However, Manabu was not the sort of dog to jump into anyone's business, and felt it was better to decipher the situation from afar. Perhaps his figure out the conclusion before they even happened to come to it. So, with that settled, almost like a secruity blanket to his mentality, he would intently survey from afar, calculating what sort of move may be next. His first hyphosis for his personal game: the large brute wasn't going to let her pass without continuing the encounter. It was simple, as it was the first guess. As it went on Manabu decided he would create more difficult theories. Ah, this might even be a bit... fun. Maybe.

The dane felt a lump of something form in is throat and the fiery taste of his temper flooded his maw like a tidal wave, burning at the back of his tongue, screaming to be released like some sort of wild animal. How dare this overconfident punk claim the scars that marred his flesh were from nothing more than a mere scuffle, as if the pain and torment of their true origin was nothing, wasn't possible. Of course not, humans never attack without warning, turn on the creatures who followed and supported them without question and without whim. They never pick up axes and beat the living daylights out of a being or beast there only with their happiness in mind. No, of course not.
A fight, that's all it must've been... the mere idea alone was enough to make the dane want to roar in outrage, but he didn't. Though his heart was ablaze with a sudden fury, his mind was chilled like ice, his expression remaining leisurely and even amused, lit by a shallow sort of arrogant smile. Below him, his forelegs shook with a sort of anxiousness that he did not allow to manifest in any other way, their movements fueled by that fire lit up inside. This warranted a stop on his part, and he obediently came to halt in a calm and still very casual manner.
"Is that so? So do you jump all dogs with scars and kick them in the back of the head without a second thought? Or am I someone special?"
Raising an eyebrow a bit arrogantly, the large brute remained still a few moment, observing the female calmly as she approached. But, just as she had come up next to him and was mere inches from passing, he moved suddenly, trotting backwards almost daintily until he was standing sideways across the hall, his rump blocking the fae's desired path.
"I believe I asked you a question, dear."

Jasper listened to the conversation between the dane and the female and he knew that very soon something was about to hapen. It was unavoidable, for he could see that sort of light in the dane's eyes and feel thetension between the two and it was not good. "Not good at all." he mumered. But Jasper still stayed hidden for he would not want to give his position away in case all of this blew over and a fight was avoided. But deep down in his heart he honestly did not believe that and every muscle in his body tensed as he readied himself to spring at any moment. He heard the dane's last question and the funny thing was it didn't sound mean or nasty. A little arrogent maybe but more calm, not at all angry or vicious. This confused Jasper for a bit and he wondered why that was, if maybe he was just overreacting with this dog and maybe he was so dangerious.

Ekki laid her ears back when the dane moved swiftly to block her exit. She stopped and thought as he talked. She changed her game up.
Raising an eyebrow and taking an almost flirtatious expression, but still looking a little serious (if that is possible at all), she spoke through the bucket handle in her mouth. "I'd say you're someone special." She said with a michevious voice.
Her curled tail lifted off her back in a short wag. She stepped back once and sat down, eyeing the dane mix that stood in her way. short post .... -.-

Huh, well he didn't much care for his game at the moment as he watched with a raised brow at the sudden turn of events. Was she flirting with him? Now the pup wasn't quite sure what that whole thing entailed but it sounded like it. Maybe? Perhaps his describtion was wrong of what 'flirting' actually was, but that didn't quite matter now did it? He was rather interested in seeing what kind of reaction something like that would get from the large brute of a dane. As his smarts told him, Manabu didn't make a move to bother either of them, but he wasn't quite sure that would matter in the long run. His yellow gaze shifted to inspect the stall, looking for anything he could use as an escape route if it came to that. The stall walls were fairly high, but open at the top, if he could get up there he might make it. Satsified with his survilance, he returned his watchful gaze to the unfolding scene.

Eying the fae as she chose to sit down, the dane, a little overconfident in his ways, decided that she must've changed her mind about her determination to avoid him and therefore relaxed, turning his whole form and figure again until he was facing her, no longer blocking the way. However, he remained standing, unaware of the other dogs in the barn but still naturally cautious and weary of his surroundings, especially in the dark. His eyesight was not what it used to be.
"Is that so?"
Parting his short, upturned jaws, the brindled brute let his tongue make its way across his maw slowly, allowing it to pause on the corner of his mouth and leaving it there for a few moments. Somewhere inside his massive chest, he felt his heart beating, thumping with that typical pulsing anticipation that traveled laterally across his body and seemed to exit his form at one particular nether region. What could be said? He was a male. Not just any male, but a powerful one, who could probably have any fae he wanted any day of the week.
But not here, not right now... not yet. Slurping his tongue back into its proper place, the dane let a more truthful grin slide slyly across his features, his pearl white teeth stark against the surrounding darkness as he smirked and then responded.
"Well then, I guess I should be flattered you think so... Tell me, what other 'gifts' do you bestow upon those you deem 'special'? Hm?"

Jasper watched the female and how she changed her tatics and he wondered if that was the smartest move for the dane seemed excited by her already and egging him on might not be her best bet. He stayed where he was though not making a sound as he watched the dane mix's reaction to the fae and it was jsut how he expected it would be. He heard his voice and watched him smile and Jasper's almost shivered for it was a very creepy smile. 'Well then, I guess I should be flattered you think so... Tell me, what other 'gifts' do you bestow upon those you deem 'special'? Hm?' he heard the dane say and it knew that now this was definetly not good and Jasper tensed up again ready to move at the drop of a pin and strike. For he knew that if he had to attack this dog he would need alot of luck and be able to surprise him and that could be hard.

Ekki smiled flirtatiously. "Well, I guess it depends on the male." She said with a certain tease in her voice. She put the bucket down in front of herself, and then stood. She stepped towards the male, watching him but tilting her head back slightly.
"So tell me .." She began, as she walked around the male in a tight circle, ever so close to the dane's body. " What is a stunner such as yourself doing in a dump like this?" She completed her circle around him and walked a few steps away, her back to him. She looked up to the rafters. Her ears flicked forwards and she looked around.
