The plain that crunched beneath her paws bothered her not, though it probably would had she not been used to it. Shaking out her black pelt that contrasted heavily with the stark white of the snow that only existed at this altitude, though the white stripes on her back blended well. Miscoloured eyes studied the landscape as she lay her weary muscles down. She'd been running for a few days straight now, and the moonlight above her only made her sleepy. Blue and gold orbs were illuminated by the shimmering light above her, and she rolled her finely toned body in the snow, covering the onyx of her pelt in a smattering of white, blending her in as she prepared to sleep.

OoC I couldnt resist ^___^. Let's say that this thread is before the "Phase One" thread..Not that would effect you lol. Its just so other people know
All wolves had one thing in common; running days on end with the full moon on their backs. About a mile away from the wolf mix, ran a wolf blooded wolf. His long, yet powerful legs pushed his body with ease. It seemed as if he was gliding through the frigid landscape. Phoebus hadn't fought in about a day or two so he had all that energy stored. The only way to burn the energy for now, was to run.
As the silver knight made his way through the cold lands, he began to howl. Was it instinct, or was he trying to pick up a fight? He didn't know, he just felt like howling

((XD all cool.))
Kurokara's head shot up from the snow, and she immediately sprang up on all four paws. Her mismatched eyes narrowed as she listened to the howl, sharp ears perked. Almost in an immediate response from her wolven blood, Kurokarasu began to howl in return, a higher, though still strong sound. Her body trembled in excitement, though she was not sure of what this other creature would be like. She could not scent whatever it was, and that made the already wary pup that much more distrustful. The midnight-furred femme stood tall, ignoring her own exhaustion in favor of finding out more of this....wolven other, whomsoever it may be.

Heart was pumping like crazy as the old friend, adrenaline, soon serged into the male's body. His fore limbs extended more than usual as he quickly kicked up chuncks of snow. He ran out of boredom, out of nature, out of spirit. He ran because he was Phoebus. He had a mission to complete, a very hard one at that. It would be nice to recieve help, but he wasn't going to ask for it. Bus was a very stubborn and proud male.
Before long a respond echoed back. It was another wolf, or dog. Phoebus couldn't tell, but he knew that the howl was much more higher in pitch than his. Was it of the opposite sex, or was it just younger? He didn't know, but perhaps finding out wouldn't hurt either.
He leaned his very long body to the left, changing his straight course. He was heading for a large hill and so he only dug his claws in deeper. The brute's hind legs pushed him foward with such ease, he looked like something that should be in an art gallery. As soon as he got up the incline, he stopped.
His yellow, errie eyes glowed as if he was some kind of a ghost. His body stood tall, as if he was the king of a great empire. The snout of the beast pointed directly to the wolven figure down the hill. Was this the canine that was howling back?

She did not know if the other was coming. Honestly, in this environment, it was hard to smell anything. The snow kept her sensitive nostrils from scenting anything other than the snow and ice, and despite her best efforts, she couldn't hear if there was another reply. She lowered her body to the ground, haunches tensed, ready to take off. Turning her head from side to side, the femme searched out the creature who had howled.
She could feel eyes upon her, and it bothered her. Eventually, her mismatched orbs caught sight of the male standing tall atop the incline not too far away. The blue and gold orbs narrowed in caution, her lips drawing back slightly, a growl ready to rumble deep within her throat should this other prescence be a threat.
Those eyes of his made him seem but an apparition, but he was definitely more solid than that, from what her eyes could tell. Kurokarasu raised her body to stand at its fullest height, rather large for a mixbreed, since her wolven heritage was dominant, showing the male that she was not willing to back down. Ears alert, head high, Kara did not want to appear weak or easily intimidated. Her tail did not droop in any manner of submission either, but stayed high, adding further to her proud appearance.

OoC hmm this could be fun ^_^
The wolf's mane like fur around his neck, ruffled violently as he stood on top of his hill. He waited for the other to do something, either run away or attack. His yellow orbs turned into slits as Phoebus strained his eyes to see what type of dog it was. From what he could tell, the canine looked wolf, it self. It was larger and leaner than the domesticated cousin. But what did it want? Was he in it's territory? Did it want to fight? Well if it wanted a brawl, a brawl it would get.
The ivory male pulled his lips back, exposing his daggers. His head lowered slightly, as if it was going to attack. Slowly, he inched closer and closer. His slink was quite menacing as he made his way down the hill. The wolf seemed to grow larger with every single step

She kept her eyes trained on him, noticing that he seemed to be waiting for her to do something, anything. As he began to slink closer, his lips narrowed, showing canines that were definitely larger than her own. She lowered her body to the ground, her odd orbs narrowing in anger and she was uncomfortable with how close he was getting. But she stepped over to the side, circling to the other side. She decided to speak, her voice soft, but tense, "Are you looking for a fight? I'll be more than happy to give it."
Kara could scent him now, and could tell he was a few years her senior. A wolf's grin split her face. If he wanted to fight, she would fight. Her muscles might be tired, but she was always willing to push herself harder, "Might I at least know my opponent?"

Phoebus stopped as soon as his "friend" lowered it'self to the ground. By the scent and looks of it, the mixie was a female. But was she here to pick a fight with the male? She exposed her teeth and told him that she would give him a fight if he so desired. But did he? Sure he loved the thrill a battle gave him, but would he fight for absoutly nothing? The brave brute cocked his head to the side as she spoke.
"Phoebus" he spoke plainly, aggression wasn't present in his words. "And you?"

Ears perked from their layed back position as he spoke with agression completely void from his voice where she expected it to be present. Blinking, she raised her body from the ground where she had been ready to spring, to sit easily on her haunches. Though still wary, and slightly mystified, she replied as he requested her own name, "Kurokarasu....You may call me Kara if you so choose..." Her own reply was measured, but hesitant, revealing her own reluctance to trust the other in any measure.

OoC Sorry for taking a long time, was talking to someone on the phone, lol
Phoebus' ears perked as the female gave him her name. Kara he registered in his brain, as her real name was just to long and complicated to remember. The brute looked at her with hollow eyes. He wasn't a "hi, how are you" type, but what was he going to do. Should he keep socializing and keep asking her questions or should he attack for no reason? Though he'd prefer to fight over chat, he just didn't want to waste energy for nothing. Instead, he nodded at her and sat down. He knew that sitting down was less intimidating than standing, so he did
