[This post is private for Kana, Mercy, Paris, and Kei-san. Below you will find the flash backs of a very... intresting night and the birth of a pwnsome litter. We'll blow your mind. Or eat it. Depends if I eat supper at 8 tonight or 9. What do you think Kana? *Kana grins darkly*]
"I'm going... to kill him. I'm gunna kill hi- UHG!" Kana snarled from where she laid in the shadows of the cliff side. A river raged out in the light where it eventually fell to a vicious waterfall before continuing out of Hat's territory. The doberman had limped off after months of torture. Fabius was going to get it for this. Yeah, despite all their constant fighting and endless stream of profanities they had gotten down and dirty. Not something she'd openly admit, but it was obvious by her growing girth. Now it was time to go on weight watches and shed the pounds. Of course she'd still be in for hell judging by the size of her belly... the litter to come was going to be difficult. Why her? Why had the independant, bold, relentless assassin been the one to sit in this position? Why had she fallen (...sorta) for the charming Fabius? What had she done to deserve this place filling the slot of breeding stock. Any pathetic female could be like this, sitting prompt and pretty with her head held aloft for the males to gaze at. It could have been any pretty porcaline girl, but it had been the hardened assassin.
Though she refused the thought, she did not regret her decision. It had not just felt like the right thing at that moment. No, their time together that night had proved that they're banter was only to draw each other closer...
The wind whipped painfully into the cave. Kana laid a few feet from the entrance while Fabius was curled up in the back. Not her best choice of location. Eventually she gave in and headed towards the back, but knew well enough to stay away from Fabius for her own mental health. She fell into a fitful sleep, but at about half way through the night it got warmer. From what was revealed after all that she woke up that morning and saw Fabius all cuddled up with her. After a sharp jab to the side and a few insults (and a very sincere thank you) he and she eventually rose and found their way off the small island of rock in the middle of the canyon. After a long leap, a flash flood, a near drowning, and a waterfall they eventually made it home to Sanguine Hollows.
But that was what YOU saw, what YOU read. Kana's lips twitched into a smirk at the thought of what you DIDN'T see or read. There had been a bit more than a simple sharing of body heat in that little hell hole. Now she was nearing the end of the begining. She still had to raise the hellions-to-be.

((extremely, god-awful, crappy, 3-month stale post distributed over penalty of death >.> ))
'She's going to kill me. She's going to kill me. She's gonna...' His less than positive thoughts were interrupted by a familiar snarl the reflected both anger, and pain - but mostly anger, at him. The Doberman had watched both curiously and guiltily as Kana wandered in the direction of the edge of Sanguine Hollows, but didn’t wait too long before trailing after her at a safe distance, something he'd been doing for a while now. Actually, he could remember exactly when it happened, about a month ago, more or less. They were on morning patrol together, one of Fab's least favorite times of the day because he was usually still groggy and slow minded... more than usual, in short, he wasn’t a morning person. For this reason, he let Kana lead a step or two ahead of him, not resisting in taking an opportunity to steal a look, admiring the view by glancing over at her when she was staring straight ahead like he should have been. In fact, if he had been doing his job he may avoided a major lack of judgment by opening his big mouth, "Hey Kana, did you gain weight or something?" He shuddered as he recalled how she had reacted, which was not surprisingly an expected one. Fabius learned a two things that day, think before you speak and that he was a really fast runner. The cyber-robotic dobe felt extremely lucky that he still managed to keep the thing that caused this whole mess. The thought caused him to involuntarily sit down and count his blessings, watching in the direction that Kana had disappeared. Preoccupied with the painful memories of his own stupidity, he didn't notice when a dark silhouette sneak up on him from behind, padding silently from the shadows. The figure sat down inconspicuously and leaned over, uttering a quiet, “Boo.”
"Gah!” Sure, Fabius had a reason to be jumpy, but he couldn’t help feeling he lost a few masculinity points. Glaring at Remus, he inquired, “What the hell are you doing here?" In some instances it would be a good thing to have the back up of a pack member, or even just the company of another male. However, though he and Remus were on the same team in a fight, there was little chance of having his aid in this case, in fact, he wouldn’t put it past him to through him to the lioness herself and not feel the slightest pang of guilt.
Still, his fellow pack member merely shrugged, as if the answer should have been an obvious guess. "Emotional support," he smirked at how jumpy Fabius had seemed to have gotten lately. It was no surprise to him, or anyone else in the pack for that matter what had happened, Kana’s recent appearance was enough to satisfy that. How was a different story, as well as why? As far as anyone was concerned, the two Dobermans of the pack were rivals who hated each other's guts. Just goes to show that the old saying was true, opposites attract. Fabius put on an annoyed expression and directed it at Remus, it wasn’t exactly the answer he was expecting. “Sorry, I wasn’t aware that you had any emotions to support, Remus,” the retort was directed at the shepherd’s former military career and retaining stern demeanor. Though he guessed it couldn’t be completely impossible for the shepherd to at least have a sense of humor, even if he didn’t find the situation to be funny in the least. After all, his life may be at stake, and what Remus said next almost confirmed both.
As if he’d been found out and decided to give up the act, he shrugged again, this time in a bored fashion and said, “Alright, you got me. There’s a pool going around betting how soon after they’re born she leaves them to kill you.” Fabius gave him a dark glare that appeared menacing but was really cast in annoyance more than threats, “I’m glad you are all amusing yourselves over this, Remus.” Fab saw the male’s black saddled shoulder shake in a quiet chuckle before he replied, “And you haven’t even heard about the pool of what she’ll do with the body once she’s done, the highest bet is that no one will find one.” Somehow there wasn’t much comfort in the grin he received from him after he made the statement, and he turned his attention back to the rocks in the distance with a grim expression.
Noticing the expression on his comrade, he let the matter of the betting pool drop, though he was a tad unsatisfied with whether Fab thought he was kidding or not – which was the latter. Turning his own focus ahead, he couldn’t help letting his mind wander as he voluntarily shared the agonizing wait. Flicking his mahogany gaze in the Doberman’s direction, his breath blew out in a sigh and he asked, “So… wouldn’t have expected this.” An obvious statement, so much so that Fabius nodded before replying, “I know what you mean.”
This response caught the war veteran off-guard, “I’m fairly certain you would have been the first to expect this?” Smooth muscular shoulders were his only response, so he dared to press on, “What did happen?” Fabius remained silent for some moments, but that didn’t mean the answer didn’t exist. In his mind the scenes played out, one after the other:
Snow blew in relentlessly outside the small cavern, every so often a gust sent some spiraling inside. Avoiding these, Fabius placed himself as far from the entrance as possible along the back wall without touching the ice cold rock. Kana had chosen to lay a few feet from the entrance, most likely an attempt to stay as far away from him as she could. Though he was concerned about her freezing to death he knew there was no forcing the female to move if she wasn’t going to. Fairly warm in his space, he quickly fell into a deep sleep and about half way through the night it got even warmer. However he came to a rude awakening to a sharp jab to the side and several insults, followed by a surprisingly sincere thank you (though he wasn’t sure why). He and she eventually rose and found their way off the small island of rock in the middle of the canyon. After a long leap, a flash flood, a near drowning, and a waterfall they eventually made it home to Sanguine Hollows.
Slowly, a small grin appeared and spread on his maw, thoughts going further beyond the tale that Remus already knew about. The real story.
