.:Hitori.:. It was midday. He had often wondered whether he should pad around in broad daylight, but he lacked the will to care if any dog attacked him or yelled or drove him away. After all, it wasn't as if he intended to stay... where was he? The dog had no idea. Swinging his great skull left to right, all he saw was beautiful trees and swaying grass, felt the clean air ruffle his short fur and the sweep of petals at his feet... It was the kind of beautiful place he had heard of in other places. This could only be... had he really travelled that far? What a feat! Remarkable! He gave himself a congratulatory pat on the back in his mind and smirked. "These mountains..." His deep voice rumbled. "These are those mountains that were once a war ground... I bet there are things here worth my time." He wagged his tail once and walked into the territory with no fear. Hitori was a Great Dane. And by 'great', he really was great. The animal was huge, with a thick craning neck and a long, curved tail. His paws were giant too, and his head was blunt and heavy. He was perfectly adapted to travelling far, not having speed, but stamina- and this was fine, he wasn't looking for anything or going anywhere particular anyhow. His reasons for travelling were not a secret- he was after knowledge, legends, myth, food, objects, trinkets, anything- he was a collector, and had hoards in almost every region, so well hidden no-one would ever find them. And this region would be like the others... he'd find stuff of value here, too. Pausing by a tree to sniff it slightly, he smelt the smell of another dog and yawned. Not interesting. Instead, the large Dane sits, his dark brown for hinted with almost black stripes, and raises a hind paw to scratch at his face with a bored expression. Where to start, where to start... ..Where should he go first?

Battousai Battousai had been running for days now. He finally decided to come to a stop when he arrived at the fabled Ohu Mountains. As he traveled through various territories he overheard stories of the great fights here. The Downfall of Akakabuto, Hougen and Genba. Frankly, he didn't care. "Tch...Some Paradise...I haven't seen a dog for miles...Oh well...might as well go check out that Gajou place all those dogs were blathering on about..." With that being said, he continued his way up to see the fortress itself. The further he traveled up the mountain, the stronger the smell of dog became. He was nearing the other dog, carrying himself confidently. After a few minutes of walking he passed through some brush, catching a glimpse of a massive Great Dane scratching himself in the clearing. He smirked a bit, even though the altered French Spaniel mix was much smaller than the other, he knew who was top dog. Without stopping to as much as say hi, he trudged on up the mountain, on his way to see Gajou in all of its 'greatness.'

The Danes ear twitches. There was... there was another canine nearby? With a snort, he sees a blur of motion as a dog, a smaller one than himself, was trotting pass. Hey, wait! Another dog! Maybe he could help him find where he was? With his head on a tilt he began to follow him, his paws making no sound.
"Hey, come back." He says dimly, fixated on making the other dog notice him. After all, with his side, who wouldn't? He tried to make himself friendly, but sadly, being as anti-social as he was, he just couldn't muster up the strength to even look as if he was a nice guy... ahh. He didn't want to give off bad impressions though. And so he calls out to the other loudly;
"I'm looking for help, not a fight." That would work.

His ears perked up at the call from the Dane. He stopped slowly, barely turning his head back to look at him. "Yes...?" His cold expression didn't change as he turned to face the larger dog. As his paws moved with him while turning, the sound of metal clicking on ground could be heard clearly. Those heartless red eyes honed in on the other and watched him carefully.
::This is entertaining...a stranger asking me for help. You'd think dogs these days would know better than to trust any random canine they meet in the woods. If he knew I killed for fun and for pay, I bet he'd piss himself...Oh well. Might as well see what he wants.::
"You need help. With what?" He could tell this dog was much like himself. Not very social. The other was trying to be friendly, but anyone with a right mind could tell he wasn't good at being a social dog. Although the trained killer wore his signature cold expression, a smirk was spread across his maw; Allowing his tongue to slowly lick his trained steel-like fangs.
((Sorry for the crappy post. My muse has left my mind this morning))

((Its not crappy! xD <3333))
He was unflinching at the cold comment and tried to remain positive. his facial expression and voice however said otherwise, as he was unable to look and sound happy. He gave away no indication that he knew of the dogs metal legs and looked back as carefully as he was watched. What an odd dog. He had been to the far corners of this land and had seen far scarier things, but nothing as odd as metallic implants... Hitori tilted his head in study. He'd love to get his hands on some of those...
"I'm lost." He says bluntly, ears pricked. "You're the one running through the forests like that; so surely you know where you are? I'd hate... to run into trouble in these parts."
Though slowly he was getting a feeling that the other dog might have been looking for blood as well. He had... an assassin like air to him. Just like his own-- the Dane nearly laughed. It was just like his old home, back in the old days...
"After all, I heard these were legendary mountains."

He licked his assassin fangs again, still wearing his signature smirk. It was apparent the Great Dane was studying him, and his disguised metal legs which was covered with skin and fur. All this time he figured it was unnoticeable other than the sound they made as he walked. It didn't really matter to him if this other dog knew he had four metal legs or not.
"Yeah...This is the Ohu Mountains...It's suppose to be 'Paradise' for dogs." He spat a bit at the thought. "Anyway, most likely you wouldn't run into trouble in such a..." He growled a bit to himself. "Peaceful place...Supposedly all dogs are welcome here, so as long as they aren't a threat."
He tilted his head much like the Dane, watching him and studying him with a cool, lethal expression. "I was heading towards Gajou...The centerpiece to this place...From there anyone could find their way around...You are welcome to follow me there..." With that being said, the French Spaniel mix turned away and began padding off at his own leisure.

.:Ibitsu:. This land was awful! The weather was cold and wet, everything was so lush, it was nice in a way, but there was nothing quite like the arid fallow landscape of her motherland. Sure all the dogs she had met during captivity were nice, understanding, some even intrigued by her strange accent, appearance and newly formed grasp on how the dogs spoke. Their language was hard. But After Ibitsu had broke free from her 'human oppressors' it had all gone downhill from there. She was almost hit by several cars, damn crazy drivers! Then the crazy wild life, like random snakes, boars, mad deer, stray dogs. Not that any canine had given her real trouble, she had enough muscle to take down the wimpy Japanese strays that bled out from human civilization, the weak ones who were still too afraid to become totally independent from their masters. But she was in the wilderness now, she had more to worry about then little stray punks. She had traveled within the wooded areas for a good day, her first day actually, out and about as a free dog, but it had ended in her getting nearly trampled by a retreating boar and its piglets. Luckily for her a nice older Japanese dog who had been hiking with his crazy mountain man owner had told her Ohu wasn't far, and after being pointed in the right direction she proceeded to move her muddy self towards the mountain pass. Ibitsu groaned unhappily, her belly was empty, her fur was disgustingly muddy, and she had a distinct sensation as if she was being watched. The scent of dogs growing stronger the closer she got to Ohu, she was a stranger in a strange land but loving the fact that dehydration wasn't effecting her, despite the fact she had been woefully lacking in water for the better half of the day. She was to excited by the notion of confronting legends to bother with her health at the moment!.
