[Requesting Kyouran with Subaru. Open for others] Each paw-fall felt heavier than the last as they landed on the damp ground below. The snow was long gone, melted and drank by the earth, deprived of decent moisture from the winter months. Blood tricked its way down the cheek of the shikoku-kai, curving around the eye that held its stone cold gaze ahead as he continued his way through the foggy land.
He wasn't about to fall over dead, or pause, wounded. The wounds he had obtained were minor, they were nothing, and they would heal like all the others. What got him the most was the fact that he didn't know where his brother was, and he was too physically exhausted to send out a telepathic message to him. As much as he hated to admit it, Seishiro had gotten better. But he was still no match for Kamui.
~ "Leave, Subaru!" He yelled to the other canine who had just been rolled by Seishiro. With a vicious snarl, Kamui slammed into the elder canine, wrapping his maw around his scruff. The force of his motion and sudden unbalanced weight toppled the two over, rolling down the hill in a flurry of fangs and fur. At the bottom, Kamui managed to get the upper hand and threw Sei into the trees not far away. With a resounding thud, the canine slammed, back first, into the trunk of a tree with a yelp, falling to the ground motionless.
He knew better than to believe he was dead, no, he was merely unconscious for the time being. The sudden sound of gunshots up the hill made Kamui's heart jump into his throat. "Subaru..." He muttered before gathering his paws below him and taking off up the hill as fast as he could run. Reaching the top, his purple eyes landed on the all too familiar face of the hunter as he leaped, his body slamming into the human moments later. Calling out Seishiro's name, the hunter thrust his gun forward in an attempt to hit Kami and force him away. Unwilling to give the hunter his will, Kamui Grasped the gun around the middle in his maw, fighting back. Damned if he would let this human shoot him or his brother.
The human managed to fire a shot, the bullet falling not inches from the body of his brother as he stood up, ears laid back. Panting and rushing paws from behind told him that Seishiro was close and Kami snarled again. Reaching out to his brother through the link they held so dear, Kamui spoke to him, not with the usual kindness that he offered the only other he truely cared about, but with a strange coldness. This wasn't a question, an offer, nor a statement. It was an order. 'RUN SUBARU!' ~
Stopping, Kamui took a look around him. The landscape was all the same to him, and there was no sign of other canines around. The fog didn't help in this case either, it's light dampness covered up and erased any scent of others that may linger. It seemed that it would be nearly impossible to find Subaru in here unless if they ran into each other by sheer luck. Laying his ears back, he growled softly, pressing on.
~ He would never forget the look on his brothers face as he was ordered to leave. Never before had Kami ordered him around like this, and he knew Subaru damn well knew why.
Kamui was willing to die for his brother.
With a roaring snarl, Seishiro slammed himself into Kamui, who's jaws were still clamped tightly around the gun. The force from the blow sent Kamui flying off of the hunter, the gun flying from both his maw and the humans hands, clattering to the ground feet away from him as he landed on his paws, sliding across the muddied ground. Curling his upper lip back to reveal pointed canines, Kamui regained his composure and strode forward, Seishiro walking forward as well.
'SUBARU!'
At the final order, he could feel Subaru swallowing his pride and instinct, laying his ears back as he turned to flee. "Dammit!" The hunter cursed as he scrambled to his feet, shuffling over to his gun. Seeing this, Kami darted to the left toward the hunter and the gun, maw parted wide. NO! He wouldn't touch his brother! Good intentions soon turned ill once he found Seishiro in his face, toppling Him over, pinning him to the edge of a cliff with a deadly snarl. The hunter managed to grasp his gun, only to shoot at the retreating form of Subaru. Realizing that the canine was too far away to hit, he spat a string of curses before taking off through the trees after him, gun cocked and aimed.
"SUBARU!"
Purple eyes widened in sudden fear for his twin as Seishiro bellowed out a rather evil laugh, spitting words in his face, "You're brother still cares for someone who wants him dead. how foolish. I'd love to keep you alive so you can see me tear his jugular from his trusting neck, but I'm afraid I can't do that."
Kamui grit his teeth, narrowing his eyes, a deep hatred burning within them. He could feel his body shaking with anger, malice and lust. A lust to see Seishiro's blood splattered all across this land. Licking his maw, Kami shot himself up, latching onto Sei's throat, pulling down to flip the other canine over him, dangling him over the edge of the cliff. Sei's eyes widened in fear as he looked up at Kamui, "Y-you wouldn't!"
"Goodbye, Seishiro." He opened his maw, releasing the other canine to fall down the cliff. But the other canine was too quick and reached his paw up to catch on Kami's necklace, catching the other canine unaware and pulled him over as well. Both canines fell into the river below, quickly swept away by the strong current and before he knew it, Kamui was dragged under. Closing his eyes tightly, he struggled to hold onto the air that was in his lungs, determined not to die. Not like this at least.
The current slammed him into an outgrown root of a tree, forcing the air from his burning lungs, holding him from going any further down the river before he slipped under it into a small cavern. Surfacing, he spluttered, expunging water from his lungs, gasping for air to soothe the burning within. Swimming to the waters edge, Kamui weakly pulled himself out of the water, shaking from the effort to live. But his effort had paid off, he was here. ~
Shaking his head from the memories of events passed only moments ago, Kami forced himself to focus back on the task at hand. He had to find his brother, he had to make sure he was alright, and if that hunter had touched a single hair in his fur, he would have a human to slay. Not that he wouldn't mind slaying the human, no. Out of all the humans he had met, he despised this one the most. And out of all the humans he had met, he wanted to slay this one the most. The one that damned his brother and himself to a fleeting life, running from the one who wished to bring an end to their lives.
He wouldn't allow it, he would make sure the human would meet death before they did. And Seishiro... he would slay Seishiro with his own fangs in the most brutal of ways and toss his body into a river. Someone like him didn't deserve a proper burial. How could Subaru still trust him, after all he'd done to them? How could he be so blind? Sei was a traitor! He wanted to KILL Subaru! Another snarl erupted from Kamui's maw at the thought as he stopped and stamped a paw.
Dammit! He would have to make his brother see the true Seishiro, though he knew it would be hard with the fact that Seishiro had indeed been his true friend at one point. What had made him go so sour? He thought as he shook the water from his pelt once again.
Snap!
Stopping, Kami Whipped his head up, the fur on the back of his neck raising in caution. How had he not noticed another approach? Had he been that lost within his own thoughts. Damn, he was getting rusty. Laying his ears back, Kamui narrowed his eyes and dipped his head once again, his entire being focused on the direction from where the snapping noise had come from. Only moments later had a shadow begun to form in the misty fog, a shadow in the form of another canine."Yameru!" The word fell from his maw in the language familiar to him, ordering the other to stop. He wasn't in the mood to fight anymore, let alone would he have the strength to keep one up. "You've been following me... haven't you?" He questioned the creature in the fog."Why?"

"Because the lands you tread upon, belong to me." she spoke assertively but with no aggression in her voice. A light tan paw came out of the darkness and into the light where the invader was standing. It was an exotic looking, female German Shepherd, who seemed to be taller and leaner than the male she stood before. Her dark red orbs held a spark that seemed dangerous, though it seemed to smolder as she exposed herself to this Shikoku Ken mix.
"What are you doing on my lands, without the attempt to join?" asked she, her voice becoming a tad bit more hostile. Hatshepsut stood only a few yards from the black and gray dog, with the pride and demeanor of an alphess.

"Because the lands you tread upon, belong to me."
The tone of the canine - whom he presumed to be female by the voice - was assertive. Though there was no aggression that colored it, it still sent Kamui to lean toward the defensive side. He had never been one for assertion since he and his brother left the prison and their duties of guards at the institution. Kami knew right off the bat that if this female were to press authority on him, they would have problems. Though, seeing as by her words, she seemed to be alpha female of these lands, Kamui would show her the respect she deserved, or at least some of it.
Watching with a careful eye as she stepped from the fog into clear view for him, Kamui raised his head with slight curiosity. Her markings were odd, seemingly out of place, yet strangely beautiful. For a moment, he felt his mind wandering to the thought of what breed she may be to have these markings, but quickly dismissed the thought. She seemed to be the same height as he when he finally dismissed his defensive stance and stood up tall, ears raised. She was built differently than himself, not because of her gender, but because of her breed, he presumed.
Gender, after all, didn't mean a thing.
"What are you doing on my lands, without the attempt to join?"
Locking his purple eyes with her red, Kamui ran a tongue over his maw, wiping away some of the leftover blood from Seishiro. Her tone had changed, it had become more aggressive, and it made the fur on the back of his neck to raise slightly. She was pressing her authority on him, though slightly, but he could feel her aura.
Despite the fact that she had asked why - the story of why he was here was a long one, and he highly doubted this female to care about the story, especially if she was the alpha female of these lands. He wasn't in her pack after all, let alone in any other pack, so... why should she care?
"My intentions here are not aggressive."
His eyes never left hers as he spoke, keeping his tone low and simple, not even a single ounce of emotion seemed to drip from it. "My travels with my brother brought us here, I fell over the cliff back there - in a fight with an old colleague," Kamui motioned over his shoulder toward the cliff and the waterfall a ways back, the sound of its rushing water barely audible now. "and wound my way up here." He finished up with a motion to the spot where he stood now.
"I am merely on the run, one could say." His tone grew an odd edge with these words, his eyes darkening with the thought of Seishiro and the hunter.

"My intentions here are not aggressive." [/s]
The Queen relaxed her tensed muscles as he spoke. Even though she knew that his words could be lies, she also thought there was a possibility that he was speaking the truth. And by the way he looked, he seemed harmless enough. Hatshepsut looked into the male's eyes as he kept speaking.
So he was merely seaking refuge on her lands because he was wounded. And though she once had a zero policy for intruders, she felt her spirit softening up. Yes, Hat had changed every since the incident, she learned to be more understanding. And so she swiftly parked her behind onto the warm ground, smiling at him as she did so.
"Very well, stranger, you can seek refuge here. As long as your not here for trouble." voice softening up as the leader spoke to him. Her red orbs looked at his wounds then back up at his eyes once again. "You are hurt, take it easy. If anyone bothers you, tell them that 'Hatshepsut' let you rest here." Again the brown and tan German Shepherd cracked a faint smile, feeling more comfortable around him.
"So what's your name, stranger?" she asked, light heartidly. If she had been another, she would probably shoot him a wink, but she was still afraid to show her emotions. Oh well, perhaps in the far future when her pack was large. But for now, she needed to be stoic with how she showed her true emotions. She was the only alpha, anyway.

((OOC: Sorry for the delay and the awful post ><))
With a groan he sat down, finally deciding this was going nowhere. He couldn’t just aimlessly wander around the unfamiliar lands in this damn fog just hoping he would accidentally run into his brother. It was quite pointless, and he knew his luck wasn’t going to be of any help this time. He needed some clues, some signs to where Kamui might have headed after they separated. Anything. Going back to that exact spot where they were attacked didn’t help him much, for the scent ended at the cliff’s edge. He knew that if Kamui had fallen off and into the river below there would be no way for him to find the spot where he exited the water, and if that wasn’t the case, well then, he didn’t know. The traces lead him there and nowhere else, so his senses were either dulled by the loss of blood or Kamui really went for a swim.
Speaking of blood, Subaru looked down with disgust at the puddle that was forming beneath him at a rather fast pace. Blood trickled down his back leg, plastering his fur together as it made its way from an open wound on his side. The young male narrowed his eyes at the thought of the bullet that was still inside and how much trouble it would be to get it out. All the running around and too much moving wouldn’t allow the flow of blood to stop, and besides pain Subaru was starting to feel the consequences of the blood loss. The world was unpleasantly spinning and the fog that already made it hard to see anything seemed to get thicker by the second.
He didn’t like the chances he had, now being unable to move as quickly as he wished, and alone, he was an easy pray to whatever passed by. Even more so as both the hunter and Seishirō were still probably near, searching for him and Kamui to finish the job they had started. At the memory Subaru instantly forgot about the pain that spread through his body as his mind was preoccupied by the events that occurred not to long ago. He still didn’t understand, couldn’t understand why Seishirō was so hell bent on following the orders of the damn hunter, why he wanted to kill him and his brother. He was well aware of the fact that him and Kamui never really got along that well, but for God’s sake what was the reason of the sudden change? They used to be best friends, and Subaru couldn’t wrap his mind around the fact he now only wished to see him bleeding and half dead. No, just dead.
Finally, when his muscles got so tense they pulled at the wound and made it hurt even more, Subaru returned to present and looked around. It seemed the longer he waited the weaker he got. Maybe now would be the right time to try and send out a telepathic message to his twin brother and see where he was. That is, if he had enough strength left in him to reach Kamui at whatever distance he was at.
Closing his eyes and letting the world around him disappear for the moment, he concentrated on Kamui. It would not be an easy task to connect to him if he too was weakened and even more so if he wasn’t expecting Subaru to reach out to him. Even before he succeeded to do anything, Subaru could feel the remaining energy leaving his body along with the blood that still flew freely. It took him more time than he ever thought it would to gather his thoughts as he fought the urge to just slip down to the damp ground and surrender to the inviting darkness. But he knew better than to give in to the temptation, his concern for his brother overriding the pain and exhaustion, he needed to make sure Kamui was all right. Or if not, he needed to go to his aid. Subaru felt somewhere along the way that he had hit the ground, but he didn’t stop, not until he was sure his brother had got the message.
“Kamui…”
And the darkness claimed him.

Ooc: Thought this would be a good thread for Remus. Hope I'm not intruding. ^^; Post is kinda crapply though... Remus Blood. Perhaps there was no more troubling scent to come across, other than death and decay of course. Even more so when it's coming from something of your own kind. At first it was just a faint trail he had happened upon on patrol, proceeding to follow it by air scent in case it happened to be some sort of injured game he could bring back to the pack. Prey seemed to be rather scarce this season. In the past few weeks the stray scents of human had been sprinkled along the border to Sanguine Hallows, a smell he was as familiar with as he was with blood. Now finding both within his... Hat's territory, was troubling beyond measure.
It was going to take some getting used to having Hat back to serve as the leader of their lands. Not that he was disappointed, on the contrary he was elated. Yet sometimes it still seemed like the battered German Shepherd would wake up in the middle of the night with the feeling of solitude. As though he were still wandering around the irregular circle of the border, alone, watching over the pack, the lands, and taking care of anything that could occupy his sanity so that he wouldn't go mad. Then he would be immediatly reassured by her scent, fresh on the breeze. She wasn't gone any more. Remus would make sure that she never was again.
Hackles raising up like a black sail on his shoulders, he narrowed his eyes at the first sight of a blood trail, crimson tinting the earth at his feet. Getting to take in the scent in person, he had immediately abandoned his quest for wounded prey. Although another hunt seemed to begin within his mind. The blood was canine, and now his body was on the defense.
Raising his head, he stared in the direction the scent of blood was the freshest. His dark ears, though intent on listening for anything in the direction the bleeding dog seemed to have disappeared, they pivoted back every so often, keeping alert to any motions behind him as well. Suddenly, his muscles tightened, as if recieved a mild electrical shock. His pupils dialated, like night had dropped upon him and they needed to adjust to the dim field of vision. But nothing around him had changed and he felt no pain.
As he took a step forward, the grass and soil hardened beneath his paws, he could actually hear his claws scrape along the rocky surface of the cliff-side. Their was a tightness around his shoulder, his old harness constricing his chest like someone was tugging back on it, his handler trying to keep him in sight as he led them onward.
As he looked down, absentmindedly at his chest, all he saw were the metal tags, soflty clinking together on their chain. The bindings of the harness were not there at all, though he could still smell the faintest trace of leather against his fur. Stealing a glance over his shoulder, there was no man, clad in military fatigues, behind him. It was like a ghost, or rather a memory.
Quickly, he shook his head to attempt to rid himself of the hallucinations. Although he still couldn't shake the sensation of mountain rock etched into his pads. He tried to ignore it by fixating his eyes onto the droplets of blood in front of him, some of the sticky liquid rubbing onto his paws as he carelessly stepped on the trail.
It was faint, but the light scraping of paws against dirt were merely yards ahead of him. Aware of this, he sunk his body down, crouching as he stalked forward, all presence of his mirage forgotten in the moment. But something else was appearing out of the haze, however.
At first he thought it was a bush, until the change in the wind told him otherwise. The unmistakable scent of canine and blood signaled that he had found what he'd been searching for. The dog's pelt was a dark green, with stripes of paler green running over his body. This was strange enough, but what caught Remus' attention most was the pool of blood forming beneath the stranger. The hole in his leg, blackened by the supply of fresh blood straight from the source, showed the site of where a bullet had struck true.
As he observed it, the war torn soldier felt a light prickling sensation on his own leg. The pale, star-like scar on his thigh felt warm from it, almost as though the heat from the slug's entry was fresh as the day he'd received it.
The dog had his eyes closed, and concern brushed over him that the young - or at least young to Remus - dog was about to lose consciousness. Striding forward, the shepherd maintained a cautious distance from him, though he was doubtful that in such a state even the most volatile stray wouldn't put up much of a fight. Still, he felt an odd kinship towards the male with the bullet wound. Besides, he couldn't just let him die.
"Vell nov, hov does somone wid a mark like dat get vay out here in Milita lants? Who are you, kint? To you require assitance?"------- I'm trying to make Remus' german accent more pronounced, so I looked up how to do so. I think I got it pretty well? xD Vell - well, nov - now, hov - how, wid - with, dat - that, vay - way, lants- lands, to - do. Kint = Kind - kid or child.

Feeling the air around the two lifting as the tension relaxed, Kamui raised his head, his stance becoming more friendly. Despite feeling more relaxed around the alpha female of these lands, the feeling of being on the edge didn’t leave the Shikoku-Kai. He felt that at any moment, anything could tip him and he would fall over the edge and sink deeper than he had been before. It wasn’t physical, nor was it something mental. It was spiritual, driven by the lack of contact with his brother. Yes, they had been separated before, but they still had contact.
Now, he couldn’t even feel the younger canine.
“You are hurt, take it easy. If anyone bothers you, tell them that 'Hatshepsut' let you rest here.”
The words of the female brought him back, his thoughts now lost, and he felt a little thankful for it. He was still on the edge, staring down the face of the cliff that threatened to pull him down, but he had his wits about him now. “Hatshepsut.” He repeated, almost playing with the name on his tongue. He remembered some of the prisoners back at the ward muttering that name, those who believed in what the humans called ‘gods’ and what the prison guards called ‘cults’. If he remembered correctly, this one was a goddess, though he couldn’t remember of what, he did know it was in a far away land.
Wait a tic. She said he was wounded, didn’t she? Laying his ears back, he looked down at himself and indeed there was blood, not just from Seishirô, but his own as well, seeping out from his own wounds, though most of them were minor. In his plight, he hadn’t even noticed that he had been wounded, other than a couple bruises. Though, it was always like this, an almost blind fury that Kamui fought with, heightened by the sheer hatred he held for Sei. And Subaru always yelled at him for it, telling him to pay more attention, almost taunting in his words.
“So what’s your name, stranger?”
His purple eyes moved back up to her face as if studying it once again as his ears rose slightly. That’s right, she had mentioned her own name, though not a formal introduction, he still knew whom she was. She knew nothing about himself, well, not much at least. “Kamui.” He stated simply and dipped his head slightly in respect. “The Onmyôji.”
‘Kamui…’
Ears rose all the way as the voice entered his mind and his head snapped up. Whipping around, Kamui looked around almost frantically. That was Subarus’ voice! He’s alive! At least… he hoped he was. The presence he felt was only momentary, and it drove him insane. Curling his upper lip back, Kamui released a loud bark into the air. “SUBARU!?”

She could feel that the tension between the two was shedding off, slowly. But the "stranger" was no idiot. He was still not too comfortable around her. No worries, Hat thought this to be on the smart side. She never really liked the gullible ones anyway.
Kamui. She thought, making sure to remember it for future reference. The pure bred slightly tilted her head to the side once he mentioned "The Onmyôji". Hatshepsut wasn't familiar with those words, but then again the words of the land sometimes were strange to her. But whatever. It was a tittle, just a title. It probably meant something to him and thousand others but..Eh, at least he dipped his face in respect. That was a positive.
"Well welcome,Kamui." she said, smiling afterward with a warmer smile than previous. Her dark red eyes gazed at the purple ones he held right before the abruptness of the others actions. It actually scared the crap out of the queen. What the fuck? thought she, angry at his random barks for the so called "SUBARU". But as she whipped her head over her shoulder, she could hear faint voices, off in the distance. The smell of a Macabre Militia member, had been accompanying it. She looked back at Kamui, waiting to see what he would do next.

[Oh, I hope this doesn’t suck as much as I think it does.]
‘What… who…’ The darkness pressed heavy on his consciousness, making it increasingly hard to stay awake or think even. He was slowly getting dragged farther away from his own mind, and as he could still feel the stabbing pain in his leg, the opportunity to escape it appeared tempting to the young canine. He wished he could just relax and allow himself to be swept away into nothingness, to let his body shut off for a while and stop torturing him. He was exhausted, hurt, the fact that he was still steadily loosing blood didn’t help the matters, and he was scared. Not for himself, he knew he wasn’t the important one there, but for his brother. That fear lingered in his mind even then, neither the pain nor the fog that surrounded him, making it impossible to think clearly, changed or subsided his worry and care for Kamui and his well-being. He always came first, at least to him, no matter what. To Subaru, his brother was the most important thing in his life, someone he would do absolutely anything for, and not knowing if he was hurt and needed help haunted him, it stayed at the back of his mind. He couldn’t let himself just lay around doing nothing until he made sure the other Onmyôji was fine and safe.
As he felt a presence of a strange canine approaching him, he remembered someone had addressed him; the thought had just slipped out of his mind while he fought the unconsciousness. He gathered his determination, pushing back that feeling of nothingness and making the fog clear a bit. He had to deal with this guy first, and then there was still the task of finding his brother that awaited him. Subaru opened his pale eyes, and immediately regretted it. That one simple motion made him dizzy again, and for a split second he wasn’t sure if he should be thanking whatever gods there were that he hadn’t eaten in a few days. It took the green dog a few moments to compose himself somewhat, and when his vision cleared, he looked the older canine over.
The German shepherd before him looked quite ordinary to Subaru, nothing special about his color or looks. For an older guy, the Onmyôji thought he was in a pretty good shape. But as his brain wasn’t functioning as quickly as it was usual, he didn’t notice right away the collar around his neck that had dog tags on it. As soon as this information registered in his mind, Subaru couldn’t suppress a growl that formed deep in his throat. Humans. Normally, he wouldn’t have cared less about why or how some random dog was connected to those beings or what happened to them, but currently he was more then pissed at humans. He despised them for ruining his life, but even more so, he wanted to kill them for hurting his brother. He wasn’t stupid; he knew Kamui couldn’t have gotten off without a scratch. But as reckless as he at the moment was, the irritation in his throat only caused him to go in a coughing fit that forced the air out of his lungs. It burned through his chest, and the unwilling motions his body made only brought about more pain as the bullet wound was moved.
It took Subaru more than a little effort to calm himself and have the coughs cease, but when it finally happened, he sighed in relief. This… definitely wasn’t a good sign, he could tell. Maybe he had suffered more damage than just a bullet in his leg, without noticing while in the heat of battle. But oh well, he would have to deal with that later, now he had the ex-solider on his paws. Clearing his throat, carefully, Subaru lowered his head in respect toward the older and more experienced canine, never taking his hazy eyes off his body. Even though he had approached with no aggression, the younger dog couldn’t risk letting himself relax before he was sure of his intentions. But he couldn’t be rude either, now could he? Engaging himself in another fight or even argument he didn’t have neither the time nor the strength for, so he needed this encounter to go smooth.
“M-… my name… is Su-Subaru…” he found it rather difficult to talk without going in another coughing fit, but he couldn’t afford that. It would only weaken him more, and make him look even more pathetic in the eyes of the German shepherd. He evened out and cleared his voice as much as he could manage before he dared speak again: “I… am looking f-for my brother…” A shadow of worry appeared on his features as he thought about Kamui, and it felt like he had to hurry, search for him right now. Being separated like this, with no connection and information, it was torture. Subaru could still feel him, on some level, could sense his presence lingering in the air, but it wasn’t enough. It was nowhere close to the firm connection they have learned to keep even when miles apart. It drove him insane, urged him not to waste a second longer than he had to. “I… don’t know these lands so well…” he was hoping the other male wouldn’t find it troubling to give him some pointers, some clues as to where he could look. All he knew was that Kamui had probably fallen into the river. “The cliff…” His head turned to point at the spot where claw marks disappeared and the ground stopped, “I think he fell…” the pain in his voice came from both physical pain caused by his injuries and fear for his brother.
“SUBARU!” The shout reached Subaru and he almost jumped from where he lay, his ears shooting up as the pale eyes searched the surroundings hurriedly. There was no mistake, none, that was Kamui’s voice! He was alive! Well yeah, Subaru did know that much already, but the confirmation made one part of the pressure lift. His brother had heard him, he was all right. At least, he hoped so. But he didn’t intend to wait much longer to find out. Forgetting momentarily about the ex military guy next to him, he concentrated once again on reforming their bond as he highly doubted he would manage to shout. The strength leaving him rapidly once again, he hoped it wouldn’t drain him as much to leave him almost unconscious this time. When he finally found that connection, Subaru reached for it, unmistakably sensing Kamui on the other end. ‘Kamui! Where are you?’ But the second he asked he felt stupid, neither he nor his brother knew their way in this land. ‘Are you okay? Are you hurt? Kamui!’ He wanted to ask if Seishirō was still there, but he couldn’t continue in his state. Even this little effort and short conversation left him panting and gasping for air. He wished Kamui would come, soon. He needed his brother; he had to know he was safe. That he was fine. And then he would rip out that hunter’s throat if there was a hair missing on him.
[Phantom hun, I'm sorry, I know Kamui shouted for Subaru sooner than what I have written, but I just couldn't fit it in. I hope you don't mind, I can change it if you want me to tho^^]
