"Hikaaaaruuuu~!" The younger of the two canines complained from behind his elder as they moved along the boardwalk. The sun was barely rising over the skyline, illuminating the outlines of shadowed buildings that towered over the twins. It was early, yes, and Kaoru didn't like early, let alone being woken in that evil early from a lovely dream by his brother to go out on a journey. "I'm still tired!" His nose rose to the air as a breakfast noodle vendor walked by, the sweet scents of beef and chicken reaching his nose. "And hungry. Where are we going anyway so eeeaarlyyyy~?"
A sweet, yet devious smile wound its way onto the older of the twins face as he looked over his shoulder at his beloved brother as he wined. Kaoru wasn't usually like this, but he knew it would come the moment he decided to wake him so early. His brother never did well in the mornings. "I'll feed you once we get there."
Kaoru laid his ears back and dropped his head, looking up at his brother pensively as his stomach made a gurgling growl. Hearing this, Hikaru laughed. Not just any laugh. It was Kaoru's favorite laugh. The kind where Hikaru's ears lay back, his eyes close and he truely looks happy for that moment. A small wry smile formed on Kaoru's maw at this and he moved up to his brothers side, tucking his head under the others maw, nuzzling him gently. "Where is 'there'?"
The laughter stopped almost as quickly as it had started and Hikaru looked down at his brother, grinning. His tail wagged gently as a different laughter fell from his maw. "Oh come on Kaoru, you won't get the answer from me that easily."
"... damn."
Heh. Hikaru moved on, leading his brother further down the street, occasionally glancing at the other. Where was it that he was taking his twin? Why, to the dog park of course! What? It makes sense! I mean... isn't that where everyone takes their dog?
...
ok, kidding, kidding.
But they really were going to the dog park. Why? The twins had an alias, one that was rather well known around the Tokyo area. The Little Devils. The twins were quite the troublemakers, and quite frankly, their agenda hadn't had enough chaos and mayhem written in its pages lately. And, it was bothering Hikaru. He wasn't sure if Kaoru had noticed or not, but... it had to be fixed. He knew that humans brought their house pets to the park early, well, the fun ones anyway.
He wasn't looking to have the humans play with them, nor their pets, no, that wasn't in his definition of 'the fun ones'. He wanted to mess with them. Hikaru knew that the moment Kaoru caught onto his plan, he would be game.
"Wait..."
Oh? Here it comes...
"Hikaru..."
Oh, come on with it already!
"Are we going..."
"To the dog park." Both twins spoke simultaneously, Kaoru in question, Hikaru in confirmation. With that, a wide grin broke onto Kaoru's face as he happily bounded forward. Just as Hikaru had thought, Kaoru knew what he had planned now. Looking over his shoulder, grin still wide on his face, Kaoru laughed darkly, "Come on Hikaru!"

Stopping in the bushes on the outer boundary of the park, the twins crouched, peering out from under shadowed leaves. As usual, there were several humans here already, and even more canines. "Which one first?"
"The first one that comes by with food." Kaoru grinned as he suggested this to his brother. Shaking his head with a soft laugh, Hikaru agreed. If there was one thing his brother would never stop loving, it was food. Soon enough, a young female with a picnic basket and her two dogs walked passed. She was chatting away on her phone, a sure sign that she was already distracted enough for their stunt to be easy to pull off. With a nod to each other, they bolted from the bushes and caught up to the woman, tails wagging. Stopping next to her dogs, they sniffed at each other curiously, the woman stopping to wait for her dogs.
It was a normal activity, what the dogs were doing, and she was used to it. But what happened next was quite unusual, and it caught her off guard. Hikaru growled and snapped at one of her dogs, causing them to bolt back and run into her legs. With a yelp, she lost her balance, the phone and food basket going flying.
Leaping over the other dog, Kaoru flew into the air and caught a plastic bag, smelling heavily of meat, before landing. "Hikaru!" He yelled over his shoulder around the bag as he ran off back toward the bushes. Nodding, Hikaru leaped over the woman as she tried to grab for him, easily dodging her efforts. Cursing loudly as the twins disappeared into the bushes, her dogs barking loudly, the twins couldn't help but to laugh.
Selecting a shady spot under a tree, Kaoru sat down and dropped the bag, peering inside. Inside was a small ham and selected smaller bags of lunch meats. From the looks of it, she was planning on meeting someone. Pulling out the ham, He happily munched on half of it before nosing it over to Hikaru who finished it off.
"Not bad." The two spoke to eachother, a shit-eating grin plastered on each of their faces, knowing very well that this was just the beginning of their fun today.
