Hatshepsut had been sleeping, when a vision woke her up around two in the morning. The leader of the lands had been trying to "catch her body up", so to speak. Months ago she had been abducted by a power hungry male and his dynasty who fed her scraps and bones. Now that she was back home, she made it an obligation to exercises like a warrior and made sure to eat the part. And this was visible. The German Shepherd had gained all of her weight back, and she seemed to have that aggressive glint in her eyes that she had before the abduction.
She made sure to stretch as she stood over her little burrow that she dug herself, as she looked around her dark yet white (fog) terrain. Where had her little members have been? She hadn't seen them in a day or two, and she knew that she would need to rally them up to tell them about her new idea. So, Hat threw her head back to call her followers to her.

I'm here and I'm standing tall but I feel so god damn hollow Your ways, engrave, my brain, I follow My lips are sown up tight to stop the words I'll tell you My life, this time, I feel torn inside
He had joined a pack, something that was never before thought possible. He had survived, something that shouldn't of happened, for he was the reject. The creation, the experiment. The thing that should of died when set free, but that was not to be. Suji was strong, if not in body, but in spirit. He fought for life with tooth and claw; being deprived of a natural life had made him this way. Had made him value everyday, every second of a free life.
The wolf-cross lifted up his head and sniffed the air, enjoying the scent of it. It smelled like freedom, well, at least to him. A creature that had spend years being caged up in a la b and being experimented on. This was heaven to him. His one icy blue eye shone with pleasure as he walked along, sniffing the air for food. He was not the greatest of hunters and to plainly put it, he sucked, but that did not make him just sit by and let other hunt for him. He was stubborn and would allow no one to bring him food, for he could survive all by himself, or so he thought.
The scent of rabbit came to him and made his mouth water, he had not eaten in a few days and a meal would be just what he needed. But as he neared the scent and howl came to his, and his prey's, ears, causing both to perk their ears and look around. The rabbit scurried away and Suji muttered a curse; there went his meal. But he knew that howl, it came from his alpha, and it was to be answered. With a sign, he started in the direction of the howl, traveling at a light pace so not to aggravate his internal organs. Being an experiment for years had almost destroyed his internal organs, but somehow they managed to survive. They were fragile, though.
As he neared this leader's hollow, he slowed to a stop and called out to her; "You called."
I wanna take my fist and crush your perfect face! I will, one day, I will un-mute the pain And then you'll see What you've made [ooc: Is this still open? And sorry if this is bad, I've been drinking >.<"] [song: Mute; by Scars of Life]

Berugu had joined the pack with his son Kageki who is a young kouga dog. The two were out walking around at the moment when the "Call" was sounded. The two canines raced in the direction of the call and came to see their leader. Both came out and looked up at their leader with admiration shining in their eyes.

Remus
In any other fantasy, being awakened by the sound of her voice would have been bliss. Of course in any fantasy of his, it wasn't middle of the night and she wasn't so far away that she required to howl for his attention. Resonating off the distant hills, making it's way back to his high-perched ears, the haunting melody of her siren sound forced his lids to snap open from a deep, somewhat comfortable sleep. Raising his chin groggily from the cushion of his paws, stiffly crossed at his chest, the german shepherd stared off into the direction of his leader's call.
"Wonder what's got Hat up at such an hour of the night...? I doubt even the owls are yet at the peak of their hunt."
Not bothering to hold back an awkward groan as he forced his mass up from the pliable earth, Remus didn't waste time stopping to stretch before throwing himself forward into a swift-moving gait. Though his muscles held a slight tightness of protest in them, he felt better than he had in many months. His muzzle was still grizzled with a dusting of gray hairs, and his eyes were still haunted by the ghosts of his war-ridden past. Yet, as he propelled through the dense fog, his foot-steps were light with spring and he bore the trace of a smile on his face.
The earth was soft and warm, a sensation that he picked up through his pads with each stride as he navigated the landscape. That, coupled with the light chill of the onset of autumn, seemed to be responsible for the ghastly cloud that loomed right in his line of sight. If it weren't for his keen scent and hearing, though the latter being slightly worn by passing years and infliction of gunfire, it might've taken him an hour to find passage to his leader's location.
Dropping his head slightly as he paced on, he flared his nostrils with a quick intake of breath and could already tell that some of his newer packmates had already passed recently and were either there or on their way. This caused him to bristle slightly at the withers. He detested being a latecomer to a meeting, and it was as good as a sin to sleep in and keep a lady waiting.
Of course this wasn't just any lady. Hatshepsut had been back from her disappearance for some time now. Where before it had strained his concern to see her as she had returned, thin and fragile in ways he had never experienced in her presence, now it pleased him to notice her filling out, and even gaining back the essence of her spirit back. She may have been back for a while, but it wasn't until now that it felt like she truly returned. She was the leader, the soul, the fight that kept this land going. And she was everything that drove him forward.
The soldier's smile wavered only silently, as he mouthed the numbers to himself as he did a quick headcount upon his arrival. 'One...two...and a half.' He produced a dry chuckle at his poor joke, counting the pup, Kageki, as a half. A joke worthy of Fabius' sense of humor no doubt. Perhaps he'd been spending too much time with the male Doberman as of late, in spite of the good friendship the two seemed to have sprung.
All in all, it meant that he was still fourth to arrive on the scene, and that was a deep gash. Though he wasn't really higher than any other dog in the pack, discounting Hat of course, he still held himself to higher standards then most. Perhaps it was a reminescent quality of a soldier's lifestyle. Whatever the reason, he fought to maintain his airy step as he rounded the final pass to approach the den Hat must've been occupying before her - not to mention the rest of the pack's - sleep was disturbed.
Dipping his head in a curt nod, his own version of a salute, he grinned respectably at the female as he strode up to her. Finally slowing to a stop before her, his voice rumbled in his natural deep pitch, as he addressed her in a questioning tone, "Greetings, Hat. What seems to stir you this evening, ma'am?"

OoC Is this all the members? Uggg
The truth of the matter was that the Macabre Militia currently wasn't what Hatshepsut wanted it to be. Not only did the numbers dwindled, but she really felt that the pack's ranking had went down a few notches. Not a good look. The fiery dame didn't sacrifice her body to come back to an abandonment of turf and real dogs. It just didn't sit well in the Queen's filling stomach. But why did she call this meeting anyway? She had to get more members, ones with honor and self dignity. Ones that saw Hatshetsup as a great leader, a goddess. But how would she go about a new recruiting process? She had an idea. One idea that would either prove very successful or quite futile. There was no "in betweens".
The first to appear within the realms of the foggy darkness was one of her newest, Suji. Ahh, a fine specimen he was. His markings were as exotic as her's. And that scar across his right eye- it only added to that mystery of the dark German Shepherd.
Not too far away came the older hound, with his adopted son. Though abducted of words, Hat believed she felt some sort of strong spirit within them, or some type of respect for the female. The respect that she believed she had always deserved. She smiled at the trio, bowing her head down slightly as she did so. Funny, how only the newer members came within the time frame.
Right as the female opened her maw to speak, her lovely (yes, lovely) Remus appeared. His large, muscular build under neath the traditional coating of a pure bred German Shepherd, made the queen smile without even noticing. Though his coat wasn't as "different" as the previous shepherd's, he sure was a very nice being to look at. Hat especially loved his ruby red eyes, the eyes of passion and hatred. Remus, definitely held a special spot in Hatshepsut's eyes.
Her own red eyes shrank into slits as she looked at Remus' eyes. She smirked slightly and gave a nod, "As you all know, our pack, this militia is not as powerful as it once was. I have an idea in how to get more members." she spoke, moving her head from individual to individual. "We will have an expedition, moving from unclaimed turf to unclaimed turf. We will look for loners that seem to old Macabre Militia qualities and see if they are worthy enough to join us. Now, this can be a complete failure or it can actually help us. But I need each one of you to partake in this." spoke she with an authoritative tone. She knew this idea wasn't one that was 100% fool proof. Of course, this expedition meant actually leaving the territory unguarded. But she had a good feeling about this. Plus, she needed everyone to go. At least if another pack tried to take over her Sanguine Hollows, she would still have her pack unharmed with her.

[sorry about posting so late]
It had been a little while since joining this pack within the whietned terrain that others seemed to stay away from. There honestly had been no real reason to train or continue to hold grudges against others. But this short built hybrid did. Even though it was other dogs that helped her destroy the lab and be free of the humans, she still held many grudges to them. She hated most dogs who had often tried to use or mistake her for a chewtoy and end up getting chewed up themselves. Very few who crossed their fangs with hers were lucky to live with scars. Others, well, many would die within hours of how deep and exact the stab wounds had been extracted.
The Samurai had heard the call and had tried to hurry, but her armor was beginning to feel quite bogged the last few days from the slight but constant drizzling. It was a pain but she would not be able to walk right without her armor. Slinking in with her head down and ears back as she seemed to be the only one that had become late with the bidding. However, she did enter the area in time to hear her speak. The alphess, so proud and beautiful to look upon. It was a wonder why there had been no suitors for the female.. perhaps they were all scared of her alpha's strength and ferocity. It was something she admired in the bi-colored shepard.
[sorry its so short]

They didn't mean to be late. It was just that they were ... uncertain. At least he was. The mixed breed had joined a pack just to keep the pup he'd grown attached to safe. There was strength in numbers, after all. Right? Boost hadn't been here long enough to see any need for battles, even if he was strong enough for it and would probably be 'volunteered' at some point. In fact he hadn't seen much of anything in this place. The pack leader had disappeared, only to return sickly looking, and he hadn't seen her after that. Not yet having gained any particular attachments to this place or the pack, no doubt he would soon have to prove something if he decided to stay. Thus far this was proving easier said than done. Of course he could have been there much earlier, if he hadn't been forced to search high and low for a certain corgi puppy.
"Damn it pup. Where are you ...?" The dane mix muttered to himself, nose to the ground as he tried to detect the pup's scent. Minutes after the howl had faded, he found her at last. "Pup! What did I tell you? Don't wander off! Come on. The alpha is calling." Leaning down, he scooped her up in his jaws, and carried her by the scruff towards the pack gathering. Sitting down at the outskirts, behind the others, he set the girl down and muttered an apology. "Sorry leader." The pup scampered around his feet, paying no attention to the severity of the gathering. Huffing a sigh of annoyance, Boost placed a paw on the pup's tail.
Before her discovery by her 'brother', the corgi was far too enamored in new friends she'd just made. It was funny how they looked different than other dogs, all shimmery like. But they were nice. She laughed and giggled, chasing (what appeared to anyone else, to be nothing) the tails of the older dogs. They smiled, enjoying the game. But even though they were but spirits, their ears still perked at the sound of a big dog approaching. Giving the child a wink as the dane arrived, the shepherd's ghost vanished. That was when Karma found herself scooped up, and carried to where a bunch of other dogs were.
))Better late than never? xD((

O.O.C//
Thanks for posting, but I'm going to end this thread. Because Macabre Militia is going to join forces with Lyca's "Bad Blood Theif Gang" . Prior to that a dog will be chased into our lands by a cannibal canine. However, the cannibal will not lay one paw on the intruder, as we are going to protect it. **More info about this plot here.
So in other words, I would like everyone to keep an eye out for that thread that is soon to come. Thank you again for posting =]
