The trees were dying. Sure that’s a normal thing for autumn, but Tenka hated death, even if it was only the trees. The only thing that could console her was the fact that they would come back to life in the spring. They would simply lay dormant in the cold of winter and the crunchy blanket of leaves would decay to fertilize the soil and help flowers grow. If only that’s how real life went. You just laid dormant for a little while then burst forth, refreshed and anew. But that’s not how it worked. When you were dead, it was over, and Tenka was far from over.
Her glazed eyes glared forward on the small trail through the forest. Leaves crunched beneath her paws with every step, but she didn’t care. Whoever dared to cross her path didn’t deserve to have any idiotic offspring to poison the world. That’s what she decided when she killed someone. It’s better for the world because they deserved to die for some reason, Tenka never killed just to taste blood in her mouth, and then there would be no more stupid genes. It would be a way of purifying the world.
The akita stopped and shook her head. Wasn’t she just being contradictory. She was so messed up, but living on your own will do that to you. Death and killing are a horrible justice that everyone succumbs to eventually. Tenka sighed and continued on her journey north on her quest for revenge. She was looking for the monster that had murdered her brother, and she was ready to bring some horrible justice to him.
The light flapping of wings caught her attention and so did a light growl from her stomach. It had to of been a day or so since the young dog had eaten last. Tenka followed the noise to find a small flock of birds in a nearby clearing. Perfect. Tenka crouched in the bush she was hiding in, winding her muscles, and readying herself to pounce. Before that bastard of a murderer got some justice, one of these birds would have too.
