He ran, oh how he ran. The mutt was built like a stone, able to take brutal blows from another beast. But the smoking monsters held by man, he was no match for. He ran as fast as he could, not for himself, but for the small charge in his care. She was his to protect, the pup, and no man or monster carried by them would break his vow. He'd rather die. Don't worry kid. I've got you. The pit mix thought to himself, unable to speak to the corgi puppy dangling in his mouth. She was dazed and hurt, the whole conflict with the humans started from one act. Karma didn't know the difference between humans, that some could be more cruel than others. When a boy saw her outside the pack lands and offered her a piece of food, she gladly took it. Instead of a treat however, she was tricked, and the boy's friends kicked and tossed her around. Their cruel games were interrupted when a large black and gold dog leapt from the bushes, tackling a boy to the ground and leaving him coughing on his own blood. That was when the other two had picked up guns and set on the chase. They abandoned the other boy, leaving him writhing on the ground holding his bitten cheek in pain. Running as fast as he could, gun smoke filled the air, and a metal slug zipped past his hip. It took him by surprise, knocking him off balance. The dane mix stumbled, but he did not drop the small creature in his jaws. As he regained his feet, he could hear them laughing. “That's it! Get the mutt!” A pair of youths trampled through the bushes, sending small animals scattering. The boys paused to reload their weapons, before resuming the chase. Boost charged through the thick underbrush, leaping from a game trail in an attempt to lose the humans in the forest. If it weren't for the guns and the puppy he had to protect, he would have turned and fought those two from the start. But he couldn’t leave the puppy somewhere another mean human could get her. So he ran. Boost's ears twitched at the sound of running water. Gaining a new burst of energy, he ran faster. I know, I'll lose them at the river. Humans were weak in senses, they'd never find him once he got past those rushing rapids.

OoC OMG theres Hat's Boost and Karma! Lol, come back to Macabre Militia - Her "Macabre Militia" was dwindling in size, and Hatshepsut did not like this one bit. What had happened to her original members? What had happened to Blue,Joy,Kana,Boost? However, the German Shepherd Dog was no dumbie. She knew that member count would fluctuate, this was normal. But she knew her pack had suffered a blow when she was kidnapped. Hatshepsut growled at the whole ordeal.
It was not everyday that the Queen of the Sanguine Hollows, travel out of her pack to find potential pack members. But today was one of those days. She had been sliding across the mountain range, as her paws stepped on loose rocks and rubbles. The ears of the pure bred caught the scraping and ear shattering sound of gunshots. Gunshots only reminded Hatshepsut of her times as Anima. But Anima had been killed, right along with her beloved human owner as she was rapped and murdered by men.
Oh how she despised those wretched bastards. They had to go! As her fire was fed with fury, she skidded faster down the mountain side seeing what was up. As she got closer to the pursuit, she caught scent of a familiar scent. Hatshepsut ran toward where she thought the familiar scent would be saw a gold and black dog. She hid behind the brush as she saw the colors rush past her, with two human being behind. Two men! Without a thought, the ex-police dog lunged at the first man from the side. Her sharp assassin fangs were trained for his jugular vein, which was pierced. One down. One to go. Quickly Hatshepsut gathered herself and ran into the other side of the brush, awaiting her next prey. The second man did delay, he was a stockier man who seemed to be quite surprised to find his fellow gunman on the ground dead. The Alphess took this opportunity that the man's guard was down to lunge at the man's neck. But this time she didn't aim to kill. She aimed to distract. Her teeth slashed the man's neck, causing him to fall back out of surprise. The she-dog, took this opportunity to kick his riffle from out of reach. She turned back at the fallen human and gave him a toothy grin. Her crimson colored eyes danced around his groin area as she grinned. "This is for my owner, me, and other females that have to deal with your fucking kind!" loudly came out of the dog's mouth right before sinking her jaws into the man's crotch. The man screamed bloody murder, trying to shake the dog from his most sensitive of areas. Hat had just "fully neutered" him.
Blood dripped from her jowls as she pulled away the squirming man. She circled his injured body, almost like a demonic wolf. Anyone who knew Hatshepsut would be astonished and shocked to find her doing what she was doing. She wasn't known to be gruesome and harsh but whenever she was exposed to human males, the true beast in her ripped out. And like the beast she could be, she dived into the human's back, cutting into the spine and paralyzing her victim.

At last he reached the river, and though he was not the best swimmer, the dane mix had prepared to jump. Just at his back, one of the humans raised their gun, they took aim and pulled the trigger, his sights set on the back of Boost's skull. But the shot veered off course, something had messed up his aim. The dane would have continued his leap if a familiar scent had not washed over the area. He skidded to a stop, kicking up river stones and water over his paw. The puppy still in his maw, he swiftly turned. Of all things, he had not expected to see her here.
"What's going on?" The pup awoke, muttering out her query. "Shh. Keep your eyes closed." The corgi mix obeyed, falling quickly back to sleep even as the scent of blood filled her ears. As he drew closer to the scene of the mayhem, he stashed Karma beneath some thick bushes. "Stay here. Be quiet." The youngster did as she was told, as Boost stalked towards where the alpha was ... taking care of business. He watched, dumbfounded as she began to tear the man apart, leaving him still alive, unlike his more fortunate buddy.

The pure bred German Shepherd Dog, sucked in the blood as she spat out the human's spinal chord. She was never that into the metallic tasted liquid, but her hate for human men was so great that this was the only objection. As she licked her mouth, her eyelids pressed closer to each other, narrowing her eyes. Someone or something had spotted her and was heading her way. Normally, she would try to catch its scent, but the smell of blood and her state had overpowered and clouded her senses. That is, until she saw who it was.
At first, Ms Hatshepsut itched with anger and frustration. This Great Dane mix had been part of her pack, after all. And now he stood there, with out an excuse. Those who left where to be exterminated, those where the original rules. Rules that Hat, herself, made up. However, her senses came back to her and she remembered where she was. She was on neutral grounds. No 'Dane blood would be shed today.
So she stood, over the fresh cadaver, with nobility and pride. Her posture was tall, her eyes showed a mixture of a smoldering anger mixed with excitement. She was indeed happy to see him alive, in the flesh. Hat did not run an evil pack, no. So, she was glad that her old pack-mate, had been alive rather then dead.
Her gaze had been set on him. She would not talk, no. There was nothing to say on her part. On the contrary. It was up to Boost to shatter the silence with words, whatever words he decided fitted the situation. And by those following words would the tan and brown female judge him by.

He didn't know much about the alpha, even after his initial claim to join her pack, he never knew if it was permanent. The dane mix had no fear of retribution for any departure, whatever was best for the pup was what he'd do. After the alpha's disappearance the pack seemed to have lost its way. With no way to find her and no sense of direction amongst the pack, Boost had taken the pup and left. He could not spend his time searching for the missing when he had someone to take care of right now. And no alpha or hound of hell could convince him otherwise.
Licking a speck of blood from his nose, he watched the man began to die at last. All the better, Boost didn't want to deal with the disposal of such a bastard himself, let him rot. ”Th-” Before he could bow his head or give any thanks, a white and muddy blur entered the corner of his vision. ”Oh hey its the boss lady she saved you didn't she why did we leave anyway cause she is awesome!” Like magic the bruised pup was back on her feet and talking a million miles a minute.

Nothing had been said before a little Corgie puppy appeared out of what seemed the blue, and acknowledge Hatshepsut's prescense. She was also an old pack mate of the pure bred German Shepherd, but she never had hard feelings for the pup. Karma was just a pup.
Hat looked back at the dane mix, to see his expression. She wanted him to show his emotions or say something.

The mix was not the type to show much emotion, brick wall that he was. But at last he sighed, if anything could soften his heart it was the pup. Stepping forward, he picked the corgi up in his jaws before setting her down beside him. There was no need for her to be crowding the alpha. Stoic as he was he wasn't ungrateful. As the pup chased her tail in a circle at the dane's feet, Boost would bow his head to the alpha. ”Thank you.” Of course his thanks would not be for himself but for the pup. Regardless perhaps this pack of hers was worth staying with after all. If the alpha would go through the trouble to get rid of a few gun toting youths shooting at strays such as them, she had to be worth following.

The mutt was emotionless but by how he acted and carried himself, he did not seem like one that would turn on you. Instead of just shrugging Hat's help, he bowed his head down to the German Shepherd with a 'thank you'. The Queen, instantly felt more on the positive side with her ex-pack mate. Sure, what he did was unacceptable, at least within her soul and heart he didn't mean any harm with leaving her allegiance. But just as she was forgiving to her acquaintances, she was a tough alpha when the going went rough. And just as she wouldn't think twice in saving those who were eager to follow her, she was not one to pester and insist things be her way.
The alphess of the land of Sanguine Hollows, gave Boost a nod of acknowledgment. Her ruby red eyes looked down at the puppy who was seemingly playing with her tail, and soften her facial features. A warm smile had crept onto the dog's large mouth as she uttered, "Your welcome." With that, she gathered her previous demeanor of poise and nobility. Hatshepsut, the leader of Sanguine Hollows' Macabre Militia, had left.

))K. Quick post for ending's sake.((
Soon the alpha was gone, leaving without needless conversation or courtesies. She'd saved his tail and the pup's, killing those men with the guns. Emotionless as he was, Boost gained had just gained a new respect for the alpha of Sanguine Hollows. Perhaps he would return to those pack lands after all. For now however, he simply picked up the puppy in his jaws, and left. Neither of them had eaten in some time, and now he must find the growing pup some dinner.
