They were a busy pair, as she went to work and he played his games. As a girl stepped a path, setting small orange cones in the sand, he would slip by and scoop up every one she lay down. In the end she wound up chasing him for possession of a cone. At last the game was done and the human was forced to start over. Richter rolled in the sand, waiting for his charge to be done with her work. "Alright Rich. Time for a trial run." The girl spoke at last, dusting sand off her palms. The red and teal collie woofed in reply. "This is the weave trial. We gotta beat our last time if we ever want to win those competitions." Withdrawing a pocket watch from her pocket, she waited for the dog to get into position. Then, they ran, Richter weaved in and out of the cones, the girl encouraging hi along the way. At last they returned along the path, and skidded to a stop in the sand. Cici clicked the watch, holding down the face so the dog could see (even though he could not read). "Alright! Look Rich, you beat your last time by two point three seconds!"Richter barked happily, his tail waving like a banner in the ocean breeze. Then he pounced, knocking the girl to the sand and licking her face. "Okay enough. Come on get off. Quite it Rich." Chuckling, she ruffled the dog's fur before lifting him off her. As she went to pick up the cones, stacking them up by her gear, Richter busied himself in nosing about her backpack. By the time Cici had finished cleaning up, the dog tackled her with a disc in his jaws. "Ok ok. Time for Frisbee. I get it!" She took the disc from the dog's jaws, and set it soaring down the beach. "Go get it Richy!"

Walking solemenly in silence helped ease her mind. Her black and dark crimson blood marked coated soaked in the rays of the sun. It was a good swim back home to her family, but she at least wanted to enjoy this peace for a little while before continuing on her journey home. A large gash lined her right side, four others stood around her. Their eyes shining with pride but worry as well. The sound of a whirling object caught Lyca's attention as well as the attention of her brothers, who instantly crouched into an attacking position.
Staggering to get to her paws, Lyca grunted at them. Their eyes glancing at her. "There's no need to worry, its just a dog and their human playing on the beach. If they do intend to attack us, then we'll leave without any harm done. There's no need to attack without seeing who it is. I think you all being in the Southern Alps have driven you from senses." Words like daggers digging deep into their hearts, the brothers forced themselves to be calm and steady.

His attention s were only on the frisbee as it soared through the air. Nothing else mattered, only catching that disc! He gave chase, leaping through the air after it. Rich caught it, landing in the sand kicking it everywhere. Once on the ground, he shook it vigorously, like one would their prey. He did not notice the other canines.
But his owner did ...
"Rich! Get back!" She rushed over, giving little concern for her own safety as she knelt next to her companion. Grabbing him by the collar, she dragged him back away from the little pack. Those weren't ordinary dogs! "Oh... hello!" The border spoke, giving little worry for the worry of his human. Ignoring her tugging at his collar, his tail wagged as he looked at the strange group.

Lyca dipped her head in greetings to the human and canine. "Hellow to you to." her voice was ragged and filled with pain that she simply ignored without any effert. The other four males looked at the dog and his human. Not filling a threating presence from this male, their bodies relaxed and became untensed. The black and dark crimson blood marked glanced at the human and smirked. "Your human is afriad for your safety. Your very lucky to have a human to care about you so much." Lyca slowly walked past the male and his girl. There was no reason for she and her siblings to stay longer. Her brothers followed behind her.
Zin looked back at tha male and his human. "Who are you by the way male?" the male wolf hybrid asked with a stern face, knowing his sister who be wondering why he wanted to know the name of a stranger for.

She wasn't terrified, but she was indeed cautious. While she worried little about other dogs (except that time she saw one kill a man, and then almost got attacked by a great dane), she knew these were something quite more ... wild. But they couldn't be wolves, right? Not in this part of the country ... Hybrids? It had to be. But those were dangerous, untamed. And why at a beach. Before she could think on this further, the group began to move. Tugging on his collar, she pulled the collie out of their path.
He paid little attention, instead only chuckling at the femme. "Oh, aye. She's a good one." As the canines passed by however, the girl would take notice of the female's wound. "Oh. Poor thing." She spoke at last, loosening her grip on her companion's collar. Richter gave a curious whine, before catching the scent of blood. "Richter. Oh! Hey! She can help with that injury, she's good at that."

Lyca's ears perked at the male and the she-human. Though the alpha female had never liked humans to begin with, she had learned that not all humans were bad. However, her brothers glared at the human and her dog. Kan; however did nothing but stand there, when his sister leaned against him. "I don't trust humans, but I've learned to never judge a book by its cover. I'll let her help me, if she doesn't mind the fact that me and my brothers are feral canines that have wolf blood in us." Lyca's vision had started to blurr as it had once before and not to long ago.
Kan leaned into his sister, giving her support, the others instantly stopped their glarring. "Forgive our glaring Richter....we....don't trust many strangers, but you and your human seem to be ok by our sister." Zin spoke shaken by the sudden weakness in his little sisters physical condition. Pushing off of her brother, Lyca forced herself to walk forward towards the girl and the collie. Blood began to pour from her wound....but the she-wolf made it to the girl and stood there for a long moment.
