Padding along on stocky legs Kryk sniffed about or a scrap of food. It was getting dark, and she had found not a pint of prey. Swiveling her massive ears she picked up the sounds of a bird. It seamed to be bunking don for he night. Switching on into hunt mode, she crept forward, tell she was almost a foot from the bird. Saliva dripped from her jaws and bunching her muscles... she sparing! Like a lightning strike she shot down, and snatched the bird by the neck. She flicked her head to the side and broke its neck, ending its pain.
As she retreated back to her den she settled down to eat. A trail of bird blood led directly to her den, and she licked her chops, satisfied with her last minute catch. Plucking its feathers she wolfed it down, and then after washing; retreated to sleep.
She dreamed of gore and death, pain and sorrow, and more then often her screams would split the calm night. They ranged high and brutal, and hung in the air before dieing, only to be resurrected again, just as brutally high.
Not a soul on the mountainside could have missed the seaming sounds of pain and horror.

The sounds, the sounds of the night were calling him. The variation of pitches seemed to be swirling around the dark air, painting a vivid picture of chaos and terror. How yummy thought the large animal of the Coyote persuasion. Closing his eyes he tried to strain his large ears to try to pin-point the caller's direction.
Angra Mainyu leapt upon a ledge of a tree and decided to travel by air. He coiled his body then sprung to the next tree, his large body gliding flawlessly as he did so. Though when he jumped he was quiet, when he landed the tree branches always seemed like they would break making a creaking to a crunching sound. But need no worry, Angra was not trying to be a cat, he just wanted to get to the siren. As he saw the black and white female on the ground, the hell-hound fell to the ground only yards away from her.
"Oh slumbering princess, please wake up and share your gifts with me" sung he using his mind into the sleeping Coyote's head.

A soft thump echoed throughout Kryk's den, and though didn't awake at first, her senses became alert. Her ears swiveled to wards the noise. Breathing could be heard, it sounded deep, apparently from a creature quite large. Her nose told her nothing of its scent for the wind was blowing away. She heard his voice soft in the night. She opened her eyes groggily, and blinked profusely. In front of her was a colossal coyote. Or at least that was what it looked like. He was almost as tall as the trees around him!
Kryk, sat upright, and looked around. The tidy pile of feathers she had left still sat neatly were she had slept. It was proof she wasn't in some twisted dream. She shook herself and looked at him through her red eye, then her blue. What caught her attention was his checkerboard leg. She was tempted to give a sniff to see if it was really real, but held back. She wanted to look into his eyes, and pick out his emotion, but they were eerily black.
Peeling back her lips she attempted to snarl, hoping to scare him away, but instead another chilling scream erupted into the sky. Scrapping that plan, she decided to change to a conversation. Her fur bristled with fear and her stomach was an icy lump. She shoved cloaked her unease with confidence, and hoped her voice was clear. "What can I do for ya'?"

An interesting creature she was, that was what Angra thought. He looked at her as she jumped onto her haunches, away from her comfortable leafy-bed. A sorry attempt for aggression is what she showed next, but instead switched gears and went straight into conversation instead. A chuckle came out of the five foot, nine inch Coyote. You see, Coyotes were the best creatures around. They were too intelligent to just jump into a fight if they knew they had not a chance in winning. Clever, Angra liked that.
"You have quite the voice-" proceeded the male as he sat down, showing that he was not going to initiate an unwanted fight. His ears flattened slightly as she shot out a shriek once more. Damn was that loud! "One that could pierce ear drums." Mr. Mainyu turned to look over his shoulder as if looking out for possible danger, then he faced her once more. "Let me ask you, friend, what is it that you want out of life?" It wasnt an ordinary question, especially for an aquintance..But hey, Angra was no ordinary character.

"I can't help screaming. It's something I've always done...from what I can remember..." A touch of wistfulness edging her bark. She shook it off, and look the character before her up and down critically. His body language said he wasn't about to launch into a battle, and she was relieved. His ears were also back at the note of her scream, if worse came to worse, she could always use the screech to her advantage.
Flicking her ears she registered the new question h had left her with. What is that you want out of life? It was a bizarre kind of question, and she hadn't a clue how to answer. "Many things I suppose... Perhaps too much..." She paused for a moment. "I want...power. Strength. Excitement, and thrills. Life's to short to waste on the simple things. I want a challenge. Something to show I'm not just another dog." She felt her ambitions begin to boil beneath her fur. She smiled for a moment, just to herself. Maybe it was because of her lack of sanity. Maybe it was because she had finally found a goal in life. Her eyes flashed dangerously for a moment and she looked up at the hell hound. But how would she achieve it...
Suddenly she felt foolish. What was she thinking!? Trying to waltz about ruling the forest all by herself. And who was this mysterious canine. He asked awful bizarre questions. "Why?, don't you think that a peculiar thing to ask?" She didn't wait for a reply. "And whats your name?"

He watched her with what appeared to be absent eyes. He looked at her and noticed that she was quite the beautiful female, with the traditionally inverted colors of black and white. When one side was white, the other was black. He also studied her eyes, which were also binary. Red and blue, quite interesting. She had the spark of fire (red), but the intelligence of water (blue). And both colors showed as she opened her siren-mouth to speak.
She knew what she wanted, right from the get-go. She wanted excitement and superiority- something that Angra could get her. This coyote, as she spoke, basically already wanted to be on his side because every little word she spoke, are words of those who were hungry for his help. And that would give those the destination to dominance.
"You think you are insane, but you are far from it." he spoke telepathically to the inverted coyote. "Anyone could be labeled 'sane' if they are within a group of themselves. But just because there are a lot of 'sanes' doesn't mean that they arent insane, themselves." his eyes were closed as he spoke to her without using one single sound or word.
Reopening his eyes he gave her a smile that would be eerie to the 'sane' one. "Follow my ways and you will also be heading on the path to domination" promising words he spoke with such a calm and assured demeanor. It seemed like this guy (Angra Mainyu) knew exactly what he was talking about.
The large animal shifted ideas to her last questions. "My name is Angra Mainyu. And like I stated before, what is 'peculiar' without something that is ordinary? What is ordinary with the lack boring. And what is boring but with the lack of life?" And interesting creature, indeed.

(sorry for th late reply!)
It took her a moment to register his riddle like talk, but once she understood she nodded slowly at first as he spoke, then more enthusiastically. She looked up to study his face, and found she could hear his words and yet his red lips did not move. It took her a moment to register his riddle like talk, but once she understood she began to reply. "Are there more like you? Do you have some type of chaotic pack?"
She awaited his reply, and ruffled her fur as the wind began to blow. She fought back another siren like scream. "Speak quickly, it is getting cold and I wish to return to sleep. If you have the time I would like to talk again about joining you Sir." She re-entered her den, and settled, awaiting his baritone voices reply.

"But there are! he said within her mind as his lips curled into an excited, toothy, grin. "And then again, there arent. It depends what exactly you mean." How was that for complicated? Leave it to Angra Mainyu to complicate things beyond reason. "If you would like to join forces with the elite, you may do so but-" he finally opened his mouth right before standing up onto all four's. His large five foot' nine inch body towered the smaller canine greatly. "Before anyone is to have even a glimpse of the thrills and gold, one must be initiated first." What odd words he spoke, but coming from him it made all the sense. Odd words for an odd creature. "Slaughter an animal of your choice, then meet me three miles south from here, tomorrow night. You will smell others, but do not be alarm. In order for us to gain power, we must seek help from our brethren. Now, I must go, but dont you forget!" with that said, he turned around and trotted away. OoC; The next link is here
