OoC. here, I'll enter some important details from the character sheet: - Little to no exposed soft spots, protected by thick stone that covers much of the outer body. - The stone of the character (which much of the fur grows over, hiding it) is malleable (which means it can BEND); and unknown and unexplainable trait common in stone colossi. - Phaedra has no flesh, but some stone areas are weaker and softer. It's blood is BLACK and doesn't drip, it flies out like a geyser at high velocities. Blood is poisonous to most other creatures but usually not lethal. ------------------------------------------------------- Current Posting Order: Wint3rheart, Teffi, Kana, Shenkka, Mercy, then Amon.
-- It is currently Teffi's turn. --
((the green text will be edited whenever someone posts in case people forget who's turn it is. whenever a new page is made as the story progresses, a new post will be made with the same posting calculator as the green one shown above))

Seeing that the beast actually took notice to her, but made no move to remove her she latched onto the cloth, turning her body to move it. Kana was a bit suprisied at how tight it was, but her assassin-trained fangs ripped a good tear in it. Using the tear she swung her entire weight onto its head, attempting to pull the tattered rag over its eye sockets and ears.
Kana let go after her attempt and rolled backwards. She rolled down its long neck and slammed her rim cage into one of the beast's back spines. Kana let out a sharp snarl of pain, feeling the already broken (happened in "Kan a Dog Plead for Mercy") get hurt again. She winced and tried to stand on the quaking beast's back and looked over her shoulder to she her boss covered in revolting black blood of the behemoth. This was good.

Rexan's mouth filled with vile, blasting blood when his fangs got contact with the limb. "What the hell!?" He stuttered as he let go. He felt a little weak after accidentally swallowing some of the black blood. He dashed away, and tripped after he got a few feet away from the beast. Rexan began to feel a little feverish as he hit the ground. Is it.. poisonous? he thought, a little panicked. "B-Boss!!" He yelled. "Don't swallow the blood! I-I think it's poisonous!"

Fabius was thrown from the creatures back each time he attempted to run on it. Checking on his pack mates, things were not looking good. Cerule was dazed from a blow to the head from the creatures hooves with it charging at him and Joy. The boss was covered in a black substance apparently its blood, but that was not as good as he thought when he heard Rexan shouting about it being poisonous. Finally He heard Kana's snarl and looked up to see her struggling to keep her balance on its back, having rebroken her ribs.
Time was running out, and none of their plans seemed to be doing any good, but one old one might work now. With A burst of speed, Fabius caught up to the charging creature. Leaping, he once again grabbed it's streaming tail and landed somewhat awkardly, for he had regain his footing and immediatly run to continue keeping up with its pace. It was nearing Cerule and Joy fast, they were almost upon them. Running just ahead of its hind legs, he quickly ducked under its massive body. He felt something pierce his flesh and scrape along his neck and back, more spikes jutted out from its chest.
He grimaced, but stick to the plan, wrapping the tail around it's legs hoping to trip it, warm, red liquid stained his black pelt. He held on, his body dragged across the ground behind the beast. Pain was played across his face as he gritted his teeth every time he went over a rock, which there seemed to be plenty of much to his chagrin, waiting for something to happen, waiting for the pain to stop one way or another...

((You DO know that when I was making that character sheet, I was still in the process of creating the character, right?? And I'm not the one powerplaying my butt off here .. I don't know why I haven't mentioned it several times before in this particular story ... It's hard not to get frustrated when I've got 6 other characters against my ONE character, on top of the fact that you're all power playing against me. So don't tell ME what's hypocritical or not.))

OoC Okay, guys, lets keep our cool. Lets not take anything personal. Just cuz our characters are fighting doesnt mean we should too. Now, as for the character sheet. I have to agree with Mercy on that. Hence, having Hatshepsut look for flesh. Wint3r, it shouldnt matter if you were in the process of making the character sheet or not. Your written bio should have been done, seeing as you were already rping Phaedra. And with your last stement regarding the amount on each side, it's not our fault. Phaedra did infact step onto claimed territory and is causing problems, what else would the pack do? I know you always have Wilska and his gang, attack intruders. Now that is hypocritical.
But like I said, lets no try to loose our cool. I know I havent, I'm just stating what I see. So, Wint3r and Mercy, lets please behave ;-]

Maybe I forgot to change it when I proof read it! You guys need to remember that maybe I don't have all the time in the world to roleplay and create characters for this. The only REAL TIME I can do these things is at 1 or 2 in the morning. Yea, I'm on right now in the middle of the day, only because the course of the day was altered by a concert I'm supposed to perform in in a few hours.
It's not hypocritical that I say you guys are power playing against me. I don't do that with Wilska and his pack! Instead of doing something like: "Wilska jumped out of the bush and bite down into So-And-So's head, splattering blood everywhere .." I ALWAYS make sure to write something like "Wilska jumped out of the bush and aimed his jaws for So-and-So's head, planning to ...." And so on. Whenever it concerns someone else's character, I ALWAYS leave my roleplay "untied" so they can actually react and decide if it's fair or not. But "wrapping the tail around it's legs to trip it. He doubted it could plant it's legs while running, this might actually work. Once he had wrapped the hairs twice around it's legs he let go and shouted .." is a direct power play against Phaedra and leaves me HARDLY any room to get out of it or do anything else than make Phaedra fall.
Now THAT is immature, and Mercy isn't the only one in this story that has powerplayed more than once against my character.
Teffi, I don't mean to address you directly, but when you got onto me when I was new to the whole role playing thing and power played some, I stopped, and as I just explained, don't power play. But now that the tables have turned and people are power playing against ME, it seems like you don't care anymore, just because they're on your character's side and your character isn't the one being power played against.

Oh I agree with you 100% on that. I always take my self out of the situation, always trying to be neutral. But, Wint3r, when I replied to you, I did not see Mercy's post; so you'll have to forgive me. But yeah, Mercy you did power play. Please edit your post =]

Okay, I'm sorry guys. I realize that it was probably a little out of thought when I posted that, but you aren't the only one stressed. And I'm not saying that you implied it I'm just saying that I've had loads of tests and finals recently and people from the site here wanting me to post and i just wanted to post something that could be beneficial to the plot going somewhere instead of standing around doing nothing. That's how the misstep in the last post happened, I just wanted to get something out. I will change my post so it's "untied."
I just want to make a few observations, it is not my intention to make this personal, you can ignore this paragraph, whatever, I just have to get some stuff out. For one thing, I agree with Teffi on the numbers thing, Phaedra was the opening character in this rp and Wint3r put him there with full knowledge that it was a pack territory, and quite frankly the whole pack isn't even participating in this rp. Second, I think there may be some lines being crossed by BOTH parties in the case of powerplaying. We may have been hitting all angles, but I haven't exactly seen a one of them doing us much good. Between hitting the ears, the knees, trying to use the tail to trip it twice, everything has pretty much got Phaedra brushing us off and continueing without much damage. I put that tripping thing in my last post as a last stitch effort to make something happen in favor of the pack. I can name at least three of us who have actually, purposefully caused damage to our own characters: Kana rebroke her ribs, Rexan was poisoned, and even I have put a deep wound to Fabius' back. Third I also have to go with Teffi that Wint3r's character was accepted, if the bio was still in the process then there should have been notice and it should not have been able to be accepted until it was complete. I also noticed that Wint3r changed the bio weaknesses from flesh to soft stone since I put the OOC in my post, yet there is still the claim that he is 69%-79% stone so what else is left?
My point is we all have made mistakes on here in the case of Territory Matters Not. I just want everyone to be clear on what's going on with Phaedra, is there flesh, is there not, etc. so that mistakes like this aren't made in the future. I don't want to attack anyone, blame anyone, I'm am truly a pacifist, I don't like it when people fight. That's why I want to come to some agreement between the people participating in the rp before this thread goes any further.

I edited the bio.
God forbid a human makes a small mistake. Though I must point out that it says on dA and another place on the bio that Phaedra has soft stone, not flesh, so you should have caught on.
but whatever .. I'm not in the mood to argue .. -_-

OoC:: ok..then... on that note, on with the RP! Other than the bit misinterpretation, this is a pretty cool thread.... Just saying... >_>;
The blue eyes of the Dane watched the beast coming at him. It was like an immovable tank. There seemed to be no weaknesses; it was flinging them aside like flies, continuing onward as though they weren't even phasing him. Poisonous blood and defensive capabilities that no dog should have. CC had to admit he was surprised when it turn around, made an nonliving noise and began to charge at him. It was barreling straight toward him. Cerule pushed his body to turn toward the right(?i think...) normal looking leg, his maw opened to show metal teeth once more.
So it understands speech? Hmm, doubt he will relate to us enough to just leave us alone... Such a revelation made him think on his paws about what he wanted to do. Joy thought of trying to talk with him to. Communication is the key to compromise and mediation. She panicked at the large dog running at her and leaped out of the way, leaving Cerule. The pink collie ran toward Rexan, "Don't try to move." she said, her nose sniffed the black blood. "Yes... it is poison." Somehow, I believe that it wouldn't affect me. She possessed an amazing immune system.
Pain sat watching the battle take place. A green tongue hung in excitement. Sorrow watched the scene with no interest. "Lets get em, Sorrow..." Pain spoke with the sickle in his mouth. "This thing has been aching for some blood... Poison all the more sweeter!" And with that, he sprinted through the underbrush, growling like a demon. Undetered by the monster's size, he aimed his weapon to the creature's eye and leaped.

Phaedra charged up to the dog it'd previously kicked and stopped in a split second. It's front half reared halfway, landing down in order to bounce back up in a full out rear. A high pitched scream, much like that of a horse mixed with the sound of metal scraping together sounded across the land for miles, it's loudest point; Phaedra. With the stunning sound which still rung in it's own ears, it came slowly crashing down right above Cerule, letting loose another hissing growl, which, this time, sounded like that of too boulders sliding together.
Hidden behind the trees, a stranger pack of dogs glowered down on the scene. They did not understand what Phaedra was, nor did they understand why it was attacking another pack of dogs. A large black mastiff stood in the lead; blood red eyes gazing down upon the scene. The sun glimmered on the thick chain around his neck before he turned to his adviser, a large munsterlander, and, without making either a sound or motion, signaled for the troop to move down the hill. They were upwind from the fight and followed a path behind the trees as they slowly crept their way down towards the other pack.
Wilska wanted blood and land. If he had to use a giant stone to achieve that, then so be it. Probatur, his adviser, sensed the intentions of the giant wolf-like creature. He was quite puzzled at the monolith's intentions, as they were merely to follow it's own objective. Nothing about the creature seemed blood thirsty or intent on murder. His smaller brother, Umbra, growing impatient by the second, simply wanted to sink his teeth into something and see his boss proclaim new land. Following close behind Wilska, the young Ekki watched the scene and analyzed the enemy pack. The four were well prepared for a battle.
