This was it, a new moon, a new season, a new time. At last the haven known as Ohu would be much more than a tourist spot for dogs. It was the place of rebirth, of new beginnings. His greatest hope to be the heroes of old, protectors and guardians of all who could not defend themselves.
He stood tall, surveying as far as his gaze would go. It was a peaceful time, he had just visited the old dog's grave. But with a twitch of the ear and a scent on the air, it was time. Stark turned, winding up face to face with the spirited Malamute, Holly. "H-hey boss, we got company! The Beauceron watched the girl for a moment, before giving a decisive snort and heading down the hill. "Alright. Fetch Odysseus and Passion." With that he departed to meet the guests in his lands.

OoC I finally came up with a reason why Phoebus would help out Stark and his pack. Let's say that Stark saved Phoebus' life while he went on his mission to the city. Basically he almost died, but Stark dragged him all the way here...Is that good? ->And this is right after it: Nothing seemed to make any sense. One minute his large body pierced the sky aiming for his target, the next he saw dark red. Angry eyes, opened into slits as it peered at the paradise he was in. What was this place? Why was it so peaceful? A sharp snarl was emitted from his throat, almost angry that he was in such a place. Slowly, the wolf tried to get up, but collapse as his aching muscles gave up on him. Shit thought the fallen knight, looking at his tattered body oozing with the crimson he was all too familiar with. The male's ears twitched at the splish splash that some critter made in the pond, that was situated right behind him. What is this place? thought the canine in shear curiosity. Phoebus sighed, lowering his head down, painfully on his sore paws. He would wait it out, at least until his body heals.

Two dogs raced through the dense paradise, looking for the pack's leader. They were nothing short of excited; Ohu was quite the legend. "Hey, I think I smell something." Shenkka said, pausing to scent the air. "Really? I hope so. I don't know about you, but I can't go on for too much longer. I'm hungry." Firedrake complained out of habit.
Shenkka stared at the orange dog. "We ate just two days ago." She said unhappily. "Hey, I'm hungry. Sure, you can go on for that long. Me? No. Just, no. I'm just hungry." Shenkka sighed. "You know we can't steal food." "Oh yea. I forgot." Firedrake said truthfully.
"Well, fine. We can rest here.." Shenkka sat down, hoping that they'd see someone. "Hello?" Firedrake called out. Confused, he twitched his ears. Then, he dashed away from Shenkka. I know I heard something. Firedrake thought. Then, he saw a badly wounded dog, maybe a wolf. "Woah, you okay?" He called out, waiting for an answer.

"Here's where our ancestors lived and died. Where they became legends and heroes. Where I'll make my beginning...and my end. Here's where my legend starts." Takara stood tall, or as tall as she could for her size, letting the wind blow through her fur. "Don't be calling yourself a legend just yet little sis." Her red furred brother, the eldest of this group of three, stretched on the grass. "You have to actually do something to be called that and so far, all you've done is wander around this place." "Indeed. If you're to become a legend, first you must become a part of the pack our ancestors were part of." That was her other brother. The cream and white colored saluki stood beside her, staring out at the distance. His blind eyes couldn't take in the beauty of this paradise but he didn't need to see it...he could feel the harmony and the peace from the very ground and from the wind that blew.
"If we're to join the Ohu pack then we must meet the leader sooner rather than later" the blind brother said. "Right! Lets go!" Takara was all ready to go find him or her. "Alright, this way brother." Takumi followed the sounds of his siblings paw steps, wondering where exactly they'd be meeting this leader of the pack. Despite his blindness he had no trouble running and keeping up with them. But when the group heard voices up ahead they slowed to a walk and approached with caution.
"Hey!" Takara blurted out when coming across a female dog. An purple one with stripes. "Are you a part of the pack here?" She and her eldest brother looked around as if hoping to see the rest of the pack with her. But when they saw no one else they turned their attention back on her. "I hear others" Takumi said, his head turned in the direction of where they came from. Perhaps they were a part of the pack?((If you need a bit more info on Takara's brothers you can look here))

OoC Not sure if we are suppose to follow a posting order..soo...
Eyes had been closed for at least an hour before, his triangular ears perked from some sort of sound. Now what? thought the animal, irritatedly. In truth, the sore wolf did not want any interumptions from his well deserved sleep, so only reacted aggressivly. Especially when some random dog came up to him to ask if he was ok.
Instinct got the best of the brute, so when he heard the dog's question, he ignored the emense pain and sprouted from where he had been laying. "What the hell do you want!" growled to wolf, wincing from the pain his body kept giving him. The white and gray wolf tried to stand as tall as he could, but only managed to pull himself into a low crouch. The canine's body was all sliced up from an unknown enemy's weapon, as Phoebus glared at the loud dog, on the border to attack. The bridge of his snout was knitted with tight muscles, which pulled his lips up into a nasty snarl. Yellow orbs burnt holes as it looked straight into the eyes of the orange dog

"Yes sir!" The Christmas hued female sprinted past the Beauceron. Returning only a few moments later with a Mastiff and Pointer Mix at her heels, she directed them towards the leader then went back to where a Hokkaido Inu lay in safety. Neither of the two were capable fighters, so they would hang back until the leader told them otherwise.
Stark heard voices that were not of his pack, and so he kept forward until catching sight of several very canine forms. "Odysseus. Passion. Do nothing until I say so." The mastiff nodded uncertainly, the pointer giving a gruff. "Aye sir."
Of course, it did not take long to walk onto the scene. Noting the signs of near confrontation, the Beauceron made his presence well known. "I trust your nap has not been disturbed too greatly, brother wolf?"
))That's just fine Teff.((

Firedrake was very intimidated by the wolf's response. "Uh-Sorry to interrupt you. I, um, me and my friend are just looking for the leader of this place. I think I'll leave you be now." Firedrake was just about to leave, when he saw some strangers walk in. For once, he said no word of greeting; he was scared out of his mind. So he stood there, visibly shivering from fright, hoping that the wolf wouldn't eat his head off. "Eh? Oh, you've gotten me mistaken." Shenkka replied to the Saluki mix. But she was a bit late when they said they'd heard something. Sure enough, she heard Firedrake's quavering voice. "Firedrake?" Shenkka called out. Then, she turned and sprinted towards her friend. Then, she saw the bloody wolf, and some strangers. Shenkka merely stared at the wolf, deciding he was mental.
((So there isn't a posting order?))

The three siblings all turned their attention to the sounds of a quavering male voice followed by the voice of another. That second one being deep and male as well, but more confident. Far more confident. The three followed the purple female after she sprinted off to see what the commotion was over there. When arriving on the scene they saw a dog obviously afraid, a bloody wolf, and three other dogs. One that gave the air of authority with the two with him acting like guards. The wolf emitted a sense of danger despite the wounds, wolves were tricky after all. "Do you require assistance?" her blind brother asked. He could smell the scent of blood all over the wolf it was impossible to miss.
Yoshirou, her large red and white brother, kept wary eyes on the wolf. Obviously he wasn't as quick to jump in to help when the one who might need it was snarling like that. Takara can tell just from looking at him that he was anxious for something to happen. Always itching for some action. But if the dog with the guards was perhaps the leader, or at least a member, they couldn't afford to make their first impression a bad one. So he restrained himself from doing anything too stupid, thankfully.
It was Takara who stepped a couple steps forward, remaining cautious of the wolf but showing she wasn't afraid. "Are you the leader of the Ohu pack?" she asked.
((that'll be very confusing for me since I'm use to a posting order in ever other forum I'm in XD;; but since there's only a few people in this thread I think I can keep up))

((Idk, who else I'll throw in here, probably Echo, I may even reunite her and Aspen eventually, but we'll see what comes. For now I'm just going to do these two, until we maybe get a little further into the thread))
A rather unusual pair of dogs made there way through the sun streaked paradise known as Ohu. One was a graceful, quick-striding, red and white Ibizian hound, and the other was a lumbering, steady moving, tan Anatolian Shepherd. As the two carried themselves through the flourishing valley, neither knew its history, its significence. Which was a shame really, considering how much the hound loved history. In fact Thoth was on one of his trips at that very moment.
"...and did you know Tac that in the 11th century, there was a dog by the name of Saur, in Norway, and his master actually made him king for three years because he was miffed at his people for..." This was uaually how their conversations went, but neither of them could help it being one-sided, for Tacitus was a mute. The bulky shock collar fastened tightly around his neck was an ever pressing reminder of the day he lost his voice.
While Thoth continued his talk of more historical facts the Tac didn't know, the great shepherd was only half listening to his companion. This left room for the other half to hear growling and voices coming from not too far away, he stopped for a moment and listened in silence.
Thoth had gone a few yards before he noticed that Tac was longer with him. Hastily, he looked about himself, befuddled until he felt a familiar touch to his side. Turning his slender head, the hound saw Tac casting anxious glances behind them. When he perked his ears, he heard the voices, and understanding his friends distressing looks he gave the Shepherd a reassuring smile, putting him at ease.
"Lets go see what the fuss is about then, eh?" With Tac close at his heals, Thoth took off in the directions the voices were coming from. As they got closer, the pair slowed until they could see the small gathering of dogs before them. Stopping next to a trio of saluki crosses, they both eyed the bloody and pissed off looking wolf. Tac, of course, said nothing but pinned his ears back in surprise, and Thoth gasped slightly before saying, "My word, what happened?"

Patiently, the Beauceron waited for the lot of suddenly appearing dogs to calm. Stark was in no mood to bark orders at dogs who weren't even in his pack. Besides, even Primrose and Holly would attest that the leader was no slave driver. He was fair, and he had all the time in the world to await a moment of peace. "I am Stark. And you..." He turned to the injured wolf, unfazed by his defensive demeanor. "You're lucky to be alive. I don't know what you were fighting out there. But it nearly killed you."
As he paused to just let that sink in a moment, his focus would shift to the various dogs scattered. If they were here because of him ... what a ragtag pack this would be. Though, that was Ohu in itself wasn't it? Perhaps later he would see the humor in it and laugh. But now was not the time for that. "I am the Alpha here. This is Odysseus, leader of Platoon R and Passion."

Firedrake did not reply to Shenkka's question. He simply stood there, shivering and tail between his legs, did not really even hear anyone say anything. All he heard was the dripping of the injured wolf's blood. Only when some dog said that they were the leader did Firedrake stir. "Um, hello! Me and my friend have been looking to join Ohu." he burst out, feeling no shame in anything he said.
"I doubt he is the leader." Shenkka muttered, flicking her gaze towards the bloody wolf. "No one would follow him." Then she heard a 'Oh my word!' Turning a confused glance towards a very polite and seemingly scholarly dog, she was glad that some one with a mind had finally shown up.
She was flooded with relief to see that a dog that stepped in was the Alpha. Shenkka nodded as Firedrake explained what the pair was here for.

Phoebus' body quivered with pain, but his stubbornness over ruled his physical condition. And so, the large wolf, stood his ground as he glared right into the red and orange husky's eyes. The battered canine was just pissed to find some dog interrupt his well deserved nap. A slight nod was incorporated when he heard Stark's remark.
Not long after, three other dogs appeared in the picture. Two seemed to be related, of the quick breed, and one seemed to be of Akita decent. Great, not another one bitterly he thought, as he shot an aggressive eye at him. The Silver Knight, inched closer to his victim, then winced, almost dropping to the ground. Phoeb caught himself, however, and shifted to pose into a sit down as he heard Stark's words. Calm down, Phoeb. He did save you, least you can do is respect his pack. he finally drew, and stopped his bickering.

Constantine was humming a rather jaunty tune, bright and familiar to the tempo of his clinking armor. It was broken and off-key, but boy did it sound so amazing in his head. "Happy birthday to yoouuuuuuuu..... hmmm hummm dooo du dah dah...." his eyes closed and he grinned to himself. What a nice day it is today, wonder whats in store for me today... "Happy birthday dear...." he muttered something, "... to youuuuuuuu~!!" he threw his head up to howl the final word as he continued down the tree lined path....
Voices, noises, growls and snarls; indeed there were dogs nearby. Normally, the pure breed Akita would simply avoid any sort of comfrontaion, let alone socialization. Instead the familiar tang of blood prickled the tip of his nose. If someone is in danger, it would be his duty to seek it out and uproot any evil whenever it rears its ugly head. That was his duty. His paws picked up in speed and deftly found their way around the roots of trees and leaves to travel in silence. As he grew closer and closer to the multitude of strangers, their voices grew louder but he could not distinguish what it was that they were saying.
Hero found a wounded wolf surrounded by a variety of other dogs. With a wakazashi strapped to his back and a grim, determined look in his dim yellow eyes he surveyed the scene. Not too far off, there was two slim forgein looking dogs. Below a shepard type dog seemed to be the alpha around these lands. Hero could tell apart an alpha, he was one in his past life after all. He said nothing, simply staring at them all with a passive look in full sight...

He continued to watch the dogs, getting a feel for them at a glance just to make sure there was no fighting amongst them. It simply wouldn't do for rivalries and feuds to start before Ohu was even born again! At last, the Beauceron would nod his head slightly. "If you are looking for safety, or wish to fight to protect others, than anyone is welcome to join me at Ohu."
