Step one, step two. Left paw, right paw. This was nice. A beautiful day, complete with the wonderful view of the trees and surroundings. Black fur was hit with the sun, as she continued to walk. Taking in the oxygen as she did. Ah, how wonderful it was to just relax. Though, she wondered where her friends were and how they were doing. It had been awhile since her crazy adventure. With Mud, Echo, and Firedake. And others. Pants escaped from her muzzle as she smiled. Tongue rolled out as she continued to make her way through the landscape. The Ohu mountains, where the followers fought against the bear, who killed many dogs and humans. Her mother would tell her. 'Once a bear named Akakabuto was faced with the great dogs of Ohu. Though, I have heard stories, dogs believed the greatest of them all was Gin. I was amazed at the stories I have heard, different ones with different endings. But all came with one very same ending. That Akakabuto had fallen, and we would not have to worry no more. You will be faced with many problems, but if you believe, you will conquer them.' It was nice to think about her mother. A smile continued to form across her muzzle, as she began to talk to herself. "I wonder where Mud, Echo, Firedrake, and the others are. I hope they are having a good time.. She paused and wagged her tail, as she came to a small stream and sat down. ''...I especially hope Mud is having a great time. And I hope I will see them soon." Of course she hoped Mud was fine. The memory of her first meeting him, and during the situation in which Echo and her friend fought with his evil side, she had said many things. She absolutely cared for him, she yawned and looked around. As she looked into the water, at her reflection rippling about in the water. ((Whoa, this is my longest post ever ))

(POST!! ^^)
Mud was almost glad to be alone. Solitude meant he could not hurt anyone. It meant that his other half could not take control to hurt an innocent dog. He was now in a place that had seemed unusually familiar. The Dane mix was curled up beneath the shade of a large tree. He buried his nose in his brown fur wondering what was so familiar about this place.
It feels like I've been here before. Images of blood of darkness clouded his mind. A storm with thunder and the screams of pain filled the air. Mud blinked. Its.. Starting to come back... He closed his multi colored eyes and tried to get back to resting. The birds sang their song of peace and tranquility.
Too bad, Mud, we had a alot of fun back then. It was you and me and boy did we show them what we we're made of. Do you remember their screams for you to stop, or the way that sweet female slipped through your paws? Ire spoke to Mud in his mind.
The dark hound swallowed a lump in his throat. I don't ever want to remember something like that again... Its all .. too painful to remember...
How can you say such a thing? That was you committing all those acts of sadism. How can you deny what you are? You must be the biggest liar on the face of the earth... A frustrated noise sounded and Mud was on his four feet again. He took a few deep breaths to calm himself. His legs wobbled, "I hope the pack here doesn't find me..." he said much more quietly to himself. "I better get going, just to be safe."
His tall muscular body weaved its way through the underbrush to make his way to the nearby river. He listened to the gentle rolling of the water as he treaded through the fallen leaves. Mud paused mid stride. There was the dog before him. He could only see their back. He ducked down, closing himself to the ground. Oops, looks like I've found one of the dogs of this territory... Hope they aren't aggresive.. He thought as his ears swiveled to the side of his head in a sinking morale...

Amaya twitched her ears. Reflection began to show her expression. Of curiosity? Fear? Who knew. But she did sense something near. Maybe it was a bird flying down for a bite to eat, or a fox sneaking about. Or another dog was there..oh well.
Her smiled returned to her. Oh the stories she used to hear. She believed this land was sacred, very special, a place which needed protecting from those wishing to harm it's inhabitants. The land was full of many things, from those who fell into a permanent rest due to many things. Such as protecting Ohu.
"Ohu, Ohu, Ohu. You hold many stories which I must know. Those of which are great. From the stories of Gin, down to his kin. Oh, I wish my friends were here..." She paused, her flowing voice flew gently across the air. Rump was lifted from the ground as she slowly moved her tail slowly sideways. "I wish Mud was here. I just remember when we first met, I was just curious and clueless, when I bumped into him. And Echo and Firedrake, they were my friends too. Yeah, good times."
Neck extended downward toward the water. Nose almost a centimeter away, muzzle opened. As tongue rolled out and began to lap up the clear, cool, refreshing water. Head was then raised as she quenched her thirst. Then she sniffed the air, smelling something familiar. 'Could it be him, could it be Mud..maybe it was! My friend, and crush, my Muddy Buddy!', she thought, giggling at it. Then she sat back down, sliding her paws down to allow her to lay down. Slowly retreating her eyes to the water, continuing to look at her reflection.
((Ha ha, Muddy Buddy))

Closing his eyes to her song, it almost felt as though the female was calling him out of the dark. His claws dug into the earth to will himself not to move. "I wish Mud was here. I just remember when we first met, I was just curious and clueless, when I bumped into him. And Echo and Firedrake, they were my friends too. Yeah, good times." Muddy flinched at the dog mention of his name. Could it be? Is that really?...Does it matter? It's not like she's going to take you back... Remember all those things you did? How can a beauty love a beast like you? Ire reminded him of all the bloodthirsty acts he had done. Mud's crystal blue and dark orange eye watched her; the sleek movement of her tail, the light build of her body, the way the sun shined off of her dark black fur as she drank from the crystal blue river. He had thought of her pretty brown eyes more than once after they had left each other. I remember now... She bumped into me.... And there was thunder and rain... And through the pouring rain, she smiled at me warmly... It made me feel very happy, even though I was very sad.. Her name what did it mean... Night rain... I know, I remembered because of how pretty it sounded...Too bad, Muddy always wants what he can't have... The two entities in the dog's mind spun around each other, flashing light and dark. ...She said she wanted to see me, right? His dark brown paws rose his tall body and his strong sinew of muscle and strength slowly walked his body forward and upward. The bushes ruffled as he stood up, his head above the underbrush foliage. His blue and orange eye fixed on the black female, his mouth opened to speak yet no words came out...

Left ear twitched slightly, as the sound of bushes ruffled behind her. She quickly began to inhale the scents. To try and figure out the presence of the animal. Or friend...That smell was so familiar. And she knew just what it was. Paws crept upward as she regained her sitting position.
Could it had been...It was him! She recognized that scent. Tail slowly wagged as she gracefully lifted her rump from the earth. Dark hind legs rose as they balanced her. Frame turned gently as the figure came into view.
A warm smile came across her muzzle, as she delightfully moved up. Happiness bubbled inside her slender form. She couldn't believe it. The one she admired was here...With her! "Mud! I can't believe it! You're here! But how, how did you find me!"She quickly ran up to him and nuzzled him and blinked her brown eyes. It was a miracle, though maybe it was luck. She didn't care. "I remember the last moments when we saw each other. I thought...Ithought that I would never see you again...I thought wrong. I missed you so much." She licked his muzzled and wagged her tail as if she were a tiny puppy with a bone. It was too good to be true.

It happened very slowly, she rose and deftly turned to face him with her soft brown eyes. He choked up, holding an inhaled breath. She spoke in such an eager maner, it starlted him. "Mud! I can't believe it! You're here! But how, how did you find me!" As she ran up, Mud took a half back step. A laborate display of affection was lavishly laid on an unsuspecting Dane mix. Her brown eyes met his blue and orange orbs, a flood of memories washed back into his mind. He recalled how tenderly she licked him and laid by him, silent support for an unworthy dog as he. "I remember the last moments when we saw each other. I thought...Ithought that I would never see you again...I thought wrong. I missed you so much." Muddy wanted to lick her back, he wanted to wrap a big paw around her and reassure her that he was here and never to leave her again. And yet, he could not. What's stopping me? She's right here... The one I've been dreaming about... Why can't I just...Its all you Muddy, your falling to pieces. Losing control are we? We don't want a repeat preformance do we? Ire teased relentlessly. You can't be with her, you'd be endagering a very good dog. Putting another dearly beloved at risk of a killer's fangs. What kind of selfish fuck are you?Muddy ducked his head down to her level, trying to hide the tears welling up in his eyes. "A-Amaya..... I love you...."

Amaya licked him once more and heard something she absolutely loved hearing. The one she had always been thinking about, the one she had been waiting for. Her true love, at least that was what she thought. ''A-Amaya..... I love you...'' Tail wagged as she heard it. But somethingdidn't seem right with Mud. She expected him to saysomething like I'm happy to see you or anything. But 'I love you' was enough. But something seemed to be holding him back. Tail stopped wagging as she looked at him. She felt the need to look at his face. To see the emotion within his eyes. To try and understand why he was acting this way. She lowered her head and saw him tearing up. She whined and licked his cheek. "Mud...a-are you alright. Is something wrong...is there anything I can do to help. Please tell me what's wrong." She tried to give a warm smile but she didn't knw if it was the right time. She nuzzled him again and began to lay down infront of him, tongue licking his chin.

A darkened paw went up to his face as he wiped some of the tears away. He returned Amaya's show of affection, rubbing his head against hers. His lightly damp cheeks nuzzled against her silky smooth fur, it was so surreal. Mud felt as though he would wake up any moment, against the tree again. "Nothing wrongs now... Now that I'm with you..."
Nice Nice... Get real close, whisper all those sweet nothings into her ears and when the opportunity shows itself, take it... the unrelenting Ire never stopped his assault.
Muddy smiled, he reared up his head and wagged his tail. His forepaws lowered himself to the ground as his tail end wagged in a play stance. He barked playfully, feeling like a pup again.

Amaya smiled even more. His words made her feel even happier. Her tail wagged like crazy now. His actions made her feel like a puppy again. It was really fun and eciting to act like a puppy again. Paws batted at him playfully. As tongue rolled out as happiness filled her face.
"I'm glad you're alright Mud!I still can't believe you are here! But for now, let's play!" Words blurted out of her mouth, as she went intoa bow position. And tried jumping on Mud. Hoping to tackle him and blurt out a playfully victory bark. Oh things were turning out for the better of them.
Memories of the old times were flashing back to her. But the only memories that flashed back was the times she showed affection toward him. Oh, this couldn't get any better than this. And if it did, she would surely enjoy it.

It was an unusual feeling, no doubt. The last time he felt like a pup was when he was still a pet. Leave it up to a female to bring out the best in a dog. Mud jubilantly nudged her batting paws with his muzzle and he coughed as she tackled him, her 'attack' barely made him move a paw, but as a joke he pretended to fall to the ground.
He closed his eyes and went silent for a while. Suddenly he sprung up, barked and gently pushed her to the ground. His tail wagged and a tongue happily lapped at her face. He backed off as Ire caused his claws to dig into the earth. There was a silent and secret ballet of light and dark playing behind the orange and blue eyes of the brown hound, and the playful dance was the stage. And Amaya, she was the audience and the assistant.

Amaya giggled as Mud had fallen to the ground. Eyes began shining in the sun light. The gentle beat of sunrays bounce against her fur. Tail wagged gracefully, the good old days were back. The days where the ones you loved were close and near. Espeacially the ones you adored.
Though, her friend had some tricks up his sleeves,or paw as you would call it. His powerful body sprung up, as with clever self barked. The noise echoed across the mountains. Mud's agile self pushed her to the gruond playfully. Giggles escaped from her mouth. They were acting like puppies, love struck ones at that. His gentle warm tongue rubbed against her face. It created a wonderful feeling inside of her.
Though good times would not always last. Tongue licked her maw, but soon blinked slowly at her dear friend. What was the reason for him backing off? Her amber eyes began to fix upon his orbs. Tail slowly ceased its wagging, as maw began to take on a confused look. Could it had been? No it couldn't? Was the one name...Ire gone? Questions flew through her mind. But expression and eyes would not show. Trying not to cause a strange situation. Rolling over onto her stomach, bodice slowly regained her balance. As she looked to Mud, rump placed on the earth.

Realization played slowly accross his face. It made sense, when you get close to someone, it gets more and more difficult to hid things from them. His orange eye twitched, "A-Amaya..." Ire growled. Mud shook his head and he turned his back on her. His shoulders shook and he snorted. "Your loosing it Muddy!"
Suddenly Mud ran off into the forest. it was his last resort, he did not want to hurt her in such a confused state. So far, Mud was in control and he was going to do what he could to do what was right for Amaya.

Were her fears beginning to take place? Was Ire beginning to take control, rump quickly raised from the ground. The words...her name..a growl. She was infact right, Mud would never hurt her, right?
She watched as he turned his back towards her. But before she could talk to him and try to calm him, Mud ran off into the forest. She began to looked worried. Something wasn't right. All she could do was run behind him. And she did, but he was ahead, and faster. Even though she was a good runner, she stopped running.
"Mud! Wait! Don't go! Don't leave me please!" Her cries for him...would they work. As she hung her head down, a tear ran down her face. Even though they were in the same body, they were too different.Mud wanted peace,Ire wanted death? Mud needed to get Ire in control, if only she knew what the problem was. Whispering quietly to herself, "Mud...please come back, I only want you...and no one else."

Paws struck the earth in tandem with the sound of a beating heart. His breathing came our of his open muzzle in ragged and stuccadoed breathes. One orage colored eye was squinted in a forced effort, the other light blue colored was wide open in terror. The shadows casted by the leaves of the canopy creathed a path with an even mixture with light and dark. The haunting sound of a voice was calling behind him. It almosted sounded like the familiar sound of his former master, Akiko calling after him.
Mud stopped at the sound of Amaya's voice. He turned, watchin her as whipered to herself. Her pretty pelt moved as she caught her breath. Mud licked the roof of his mouth and tried to think of what to say. "You love ...me don't you?" he wanted, no needed to tell her the truth.
His eyes gazed at the heavans above. "Do you remember.... Ire?.... He was... is my split personality... I am a risk to every dog around me..." He looked back at her with a tear on his cheek. "I almost hurt you that day... the thought of me one day loosing control and hurting you... I wouldn't be able to bear it..." he paused. Knowing that if she were to leave him now, that he would understand. "I love you... And I...." he stopped talking finding it hard to speak,...

Amaya looked at him. Head rising from the ground. "I do love you Mud...And yes, I remember Ire. He was you other personality. But please don't go!I know you don't want to hurt me, but I don't want you to leave me." There was a reason, a reason for everything, a purpose for everyone.
Maybe there was a reason Ire was here. And somtimes, reasons had solutions. So there had to be a solution that Ire was here. "Mud! Before you go! You need to know, that you can take control. I don't know what you have been through, but you are sweet and nice.." Her voice stopped, steps were taken toward him. This time, she was not so far, about a foot away.
"Mud, there is a reason for everything, and there is a purpose for everyone also. My mother...My mother always told me,to every problem is a solution, you just have to find out the source of it before finding a solution." She watched as a tear ran down his cheek, "Mud, just sit here. Maybe we can talk and find out the source of your problem...And we can find a solution...Together. Just please tell me what is wrong." Another tear ran down her cheek.
