Like I said in my adoption thread..I think having ghosts and magic would be a nice asset to GDO, what do you guys think? I know you guys may think I'm crazy, but there would be harsh restrictions/boundaries yada yada lol.
When I say ghosts, I mean after your character dies they would undergo steps to become ghosts. Kind of like this RPG I use to be role play in [WWM]. It'll take days and stuffs. =P
As for magic, I mean powers. Yeah I know in the rules it says no magic except those fighting techniques, but what if powers are fighting techniques. In other words, we should expand on the list of "fighting teqniques". I dont know, I think it'll add another element/layer to this place.
Now I know my idea is far fetched, but I would still like to hear all of you guys' opinions. cookies? <=3

Ghosts sounds interesting. After all in the series the spirits of fallen warriors inspired Weed against eval. xP I don't like the magic idea however. Being based on Ginga which didn't have dogs spitting fireballs (cliche example xD) and such, adding magic would transform GDO form a Gina based RP to just your random Fantasy/Magic Dogs RP. Not that there is anything wrong with these types of RPs but Ginga it is not.  |

I think the ghosts sound incredably interesting, but as Barghest said, this is a Ginga RP, not a Fantasy Rp. I think I could allow ghosts (for a hefty price, simply because we doont want a lot of newbies singing up wiht ghosties).

Yey, got 1 out of the 2 lol. Yeah I understand, which is why I titled the title "You may think i'm crazy". But yeah, that's cool. So magic is a no-no, right? OMG, you know what would be cool [but not Ginga related lol] kinda like gaurdians who have powers..and only them. Yeah I'm pushing it, but hey, its just conversation lol.
As for techniques in general, it wouldn't hurt to add more to the list, right? Just to make characters more custimized and such.

Yes, but they would have to be based on Ginga. We would also have to make up what a Ghost can and cannot do, because those who may have not seen Ginga, may think of it differently.

I think the concepts of ghosts is pretty cool. But I think it would be a tad weird seeing a dog doing "firin a lazah" out of his mouth. The ghost idea is cool because it could also add something to the abilities category. Some characters may have extrasensory perception that allows them to interact and talk to ghosts. Though I can see how ghosts can be abused, if people start making poltergeists that take over bodies and stuff. That would tick some people off.

That wouldn't be possible because possesing another's character (without their consent) would be Powerplaying; and hence not allowed. Also, I don't think the Ghosts in Ginga had the ability to do anything rather then appear, move, and talk. I think in order to make it a wee bit interesting, that the Ghosts have some sort of 'supernatural' power? Not to far out there, but maybe like the ability to heal certain types of wounds? Predict the future (as not all the dogs have the ability)? etc.
