Primo and Haru where the puppys of an old Kai-ken bitch. It was too bad that she had not lived to see her wonderful puppys. The two always romped and played with the others- but they where not the only orphans. Rinji was alone too, except his mother had never belonged to the pack of mountain dogs. The most beloved pup was Kei. Primo showed the upmost admiration for her skills in fighting. Bitches usually did not fight, but Kei demanded such an oppertunity. Aiko and Akemi where her parents. Akemi was the brave bear hound who had saved the others from a giant bear, and Aiko was the most beautiful dog in all of japan. She was a creamy brown tora-ge, unlike Kei who was white as snow with crystal blue eyes. Primo and Haru where the same- striped with blue eyes. Torio and Yukio belonged to their father, Masahiro. The others never knew who the mother was. Torio was black with a white mowhawk and a dark blue tongue. Yukio was bright red with a normal tongue and a white mowhawk as well. Masahiro was grey with black spots and stripes. In the mountains is where everything began.
"Kei! Get over here and help your mother with the bird!" Akemi yelled angrily. Kei ignored him and continued romping through the grass after Primo. Aiko was struggling to pluck the feathers from their next meal and left.
"Ease up Akemi, let her have her fun!" Aiko's eyes never left the hawk she was de-feathering. They looked worn and weary, exhausted with the days work and the smell of tresspassers. The last thing Aiko wanted was another threat to her preciouse pups. Masahiro was quick to come over and lay next to Aiko, helping her with the feathers. Torio and Yukio fought one-another with great speed and agility, running after eachother and always slipping from anothers paws.
