ooc: Forgive my Paragraph Rp if it sucks big time. x-x)
While the Hustle and Bustle of the streets continued on through the day, so would the Gutters and alleyway's of the seemingly untouchable city, that is, if any fancy snob were to examine the hell hole that many creatures were exposed to and forced to mingle in. If the sounds of the cars from outside the dank corridors of the metropolis weren't enough, the Rustling coming from the Large, rusted green trashcan was only an addition to the Ear popping noise from out in public.
"Damn, if i don't find some goddamn food soon... imma freak out..." A coarse, almost masculine like voice came from inside the trashcan and from under the midst of trash bags that had apparently been ripped open by Something that obviously wasn't of Human descent. "Finally!!" The voice called once more in a rather loud fashion, a large black and white body springing from the rotten garbage and filth. Ears flew back as this large dog emerged from the foul odor, a smile on it's muzzle as it held a large container filled with discarded segments of something unknown. Dirty yellow eyes gleamed happily as the young crossbreed walked off with a hum coming from deep inside the dog's chest, yet this seemingly poor animal walked with a limp, yet having no knowledge of it whatsoever.
"God, if humans weren't so dumb, i think I'd starve to death... HA!" A smug look overcame the little smile that the spotted mutt bore as she set the bag down and tore the cheap plastic open, gorging down on what had been inside for the time being.

((OoC:: No worries, mate! It totally doesn't suck. Besides, its actually a welcomed relief to see such a large post. ^^))
Constantine walked the old woman accross the busy street. He made sure to look both ways and everything. The lady casted a final glance at the dog before walking away from him, "Darn stupid dog...." she muttered under her breath as she walked away.
The heavliy armored dog sighed at another job well done. Well, it did take some convincing but she finally accpeted my help. The knight wagged a rudder like tail side to side, I suppose it's back to patroll for me!
"Ah what a lovely day!" he barked gladly to himself. If there was one thing the large dog loved, it was enjoying the second of every moment. He closed his light blue eyes from the burning sun and trotted along his merry way. "Mr. Good sun ios especially bright today!" The bright lights tend to hurt his eyes after a while, despite his delight in the day time. His claws scraped with every step on the pavement and dodged the forest of legs that crossed his path.
Just then he saw a very peculiar dog. His head cocked to one side in intrest. Wonder what they're into?"Excuse me!" his loud voice boomed, "And how are you today?" Being amicable and loud was Constantine's stlye of meeting others. Althoug it usually scared them off at first words. Or starts a fight. I hope she's not afraid of me. It hurts my feelings when dogs run away from me everytimg I speak.

Black tipped ears lifted cautiously at the sound of another dog, turning around quickly and standing over her food protectively, Knowing that there were theives, and there were Strays.
"Excuse me! And how are you today?"
Oh great, she thought to herself as her eyes rolled in an annoyed fashion, Posture keeping straight and Head staying high over this seemingly care free dog infront of her. "Who want's to know, stranger? I'd say it's a rather good day to make a kid cry and make a few dogs go running with they're tails between they're legs." Muzzle arched upwards in the attempt of a fairly show-off like Smile, her 3 and a half foot tall body settling down on the ground just infront of the bag of rotting food.
"But i ain't here to babble on about myself, Hehe." Skinny ribs would jump as she let out a half hearted chuckle before showing discomfort on her muzzle, head reaching back towards her right hind leg to lick at a seemingly invisible wound, growling intensifying before lifting the needle like box of a head from her Hip, licking her muzzle with a slick smile. "What's a fine and dandy pompus helping dog like you doin' back here in a garbageway, anyhow, Smartie?" She snapped, chuckling once again. Same old Royale, acting all adult like, yet being such a stupid pup.

"Who want's to know, stranger? I'd say it's a rather good day to make a kid cry and make a few dogs go running with they're tails between they're legs."
My, what a weird dog! She seems rather skittish... "Stranger? Well, I'm no stranger, My name is Constantine the Armored Knight! Its a pleasure to meet you." He bowed to her. Constantine could never stress the importance of showing the up most respect to another dog, especially a lady. Even in a fight, the armored dog never let his anger get the best of him.
He settled in a comfortable sitting position after raising his head from a courteous bow. The dog before him seemed to be a mix breed of some sort. The spots were a dead give away to Dalmatian, even a dog as dense as Constantine could see that. However that sharp muzzle and ears with such a tall long body was beyond his grasp. Behind her there seemed to be a dark bag with contents that seemed to give off an sour foul scent. Was she eating that? How horrible; no dog deserves to eat filth...
"But i ain't here to babble on about myself, Hehe."
Constantine caught a glimpse of how her skin seemed to droop over her bones. Poor soul... Perhaps I can help her...
"What's a fine and dandy pompus helping dog like you doin' back here in a garbageway, anyhow, Smartie?"
There was a sharp edge in her voice that caused his ears to turn back. Dandy?! Pompus?!... "Who me?" He shrugged and chuckled to himself, "Sorry, Lass, But you got it all wrong. I'm simply on patrol."

"Stranger? Well, I'm no stranger, My name is Constantine the Armored Knight! Its a pleasure to meet you."
"On patrol, eh? So you're one of them dog's who works for the humans, then?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head, Pupils narrowing fiercely from some sort of light that had found it's way into her eyesight, standing up and nudging the bag of old rotten food out of the way for the time being, hearing the slick, gritty sound of plastic against concrete to her side. "If that's the case, i wouldn't call you a Knight. I'd call you a suck up to those tiny brained skin bags, but I'm not that rude."
"Who me? Sorry, Lass, But you got it all wrong. I'm simply on patrol." Lass? Royale would let out a small scoff from the remark she had heard from this armored kiss ass, but would keep the grin on her face as she walked forward. "Well, Constantine... I don't suppose you would know where any food was around here, by any chance?"

Constantine replied with a tight grimace, "I'm afraid not. I no longer am tied down with humans. Instead I travel the lands, serving and protecting others, purely free-lace. That is my purpose." he said bluntly. I did serve humans while I was younger, but those days are behind me now. My father loyally served under all humans. Sacrificing his life for them... He shook his metal encased head, wanting to disperse the sorrow that came with remembering his father.
"Well, Constantine... I don't suppose you would know where any food was around here, by any chance?" A small, yet very clear scoff then sounded.
"Ahem," the knight cleared his throat She certainly is testing my patience... "Well I'm glad you asked, Miss. I know just the place." An ear twitched as he rose to his feet. Metal clinked and scraped together audibly. He trustingly turned his back on her to leave. She may be rough around the edges, but I can most definitely sense some good in her.... he added in his head, And besides, she hasn't wronged me yet.
"Do you have a name I could possibly call you by, Miss?"

"I'm afraid not. I no longer am tied down with humans. Instead I travel the lands, serving and protecting others, purely free-lace. That is my purpose."
With a rolling of her dirty yellow eyes, Royale would snort once again, chuckling to herself with a swagger in her step as she walked forward, body edging onward as her Limp slowly started to become an annoyance once more while her head bobbed up and down on the skinny, yet buff neck and Chest line, collar clinking like a bell as she came closer. Royale now stood right in front of the dog with a straight back and a slightly expanded chest, as if to show off. "Tied down with humans or not, you're still just a fancy little doggie in some shiny metal, looking for the well being of those two legged Skin bags."
She would snicker, almost laugh as her face shrouded now with some happiness, brow perking some at her interest. How was it, she thought, that a dog such as this one could have such a fascinating feeling about him?
"Ahh, but no matter. At least you're not one of those puffy kibble fed mutts. A stray dog is a free dog."
"Well I'm glad you asked, Miss. I know just the place."
She would follow the armored pooch in front of her with somewhat of a more uppity step in her gate, walking along behind him and letting him lead the way.
"Do you have a name I could possibly call you by, Miss?"
Paws expanded they're steps to move around to Constantine's side, head tilting downward as her eyes glanced to him. "Royale's the name. Royale the Dalberman, but you can call me Roy."

"Tied down with humans or not, you're still just a fancy little doggie in some shiny metal, looking for the well being of those two legged Skin bags."
Her harsh words might have well as been pointy arrows that bounced off his armor. I wonder what humans have done to her to make her feel that way. It must have been very horrible... Constantine stared deeply into her dirty eyes, as if searching for something...
Either way, I should lead her onward to a better place. He reared his head up as she seemed to sidle along side him to follow. She certainly has a red stripe down her back.... Then again, I kinda like her fire!
It was true that she was higher than him. But that was her build; tall, lean(although emaciated would be a better term to call it) and fast. Constantine had a more stoic build. Shorter and thicker, made for endurance and strength.
"Well, Royale the Dalberman. Allow me to escort you to better food." he bowed himself to the female. Just as he was always taught. Chivalry wasn't dead to him.
His heavy paws scraped against the cement of the floor, making a soft grazing noise on its hards and craggy ground. "This way, Miss." he cleared his throat, "Its only a short walk from here. A good friend of mine has a stock of food. She was saving it for a picnic we were going to share today, after my patrol, of course." Constantine cheerily barked, "I'm sure she won't mind you coming along for a delightful meal and evening!"

This way, Miss. Its only a short walk from here. A good friend of mine has a stock of food. She was saving it for a picnic we were going to share today, after my patrol, of course. I'm sure she won't mind you coming along for a delightful meal and evening!
How odd, this dog was. Despite her very blunt and insulting remarks, the dog stayed totally polite and revered. Quaint, as the more civilized mammals called it. And even more so, he acted more like a Polite human. It made Royale suspicious. Dogs like Constantine barely ever came along around her path of life, and, to make things even weirder, a dog with such a harsh attitude.
"Hmph. A Picnic? For a guy like you? Jeez, you're more of a prim and proper dog than i thought." At least i was better than sitting around in the alleyway eating rotten garbage. Maybe she could trust this Constantine after all, but she wasn't so sure as her legs stretched along the pavement beside the armored dog, bent ears bobbing atop her proud head, glaring at the humans that she was to avoid. One thing she hated about the City, yet it made her stay put, because of they're left over's.
Though her mind was on food, she couldn't help but always lead her mind back to Constantine. Why was he Helping some street Urchin such as herself? She had never had help before form anyone, so why was this guy in the armor suddenly giving her food? He was certainly a gentleman, but still, why was a high held dog giving an open paw to her? She was nothing, compared to most animals. Was it his politeness? Was it impulse? She was downright confused.
"Why are you helping me, Anyways? Shouldn't you be off acting like a cross-guard or something?" She snorted, Eyes looking straight ahead as she asked her question, content on both following where she was heading and where Constantine was on the path. "I'm just an everyday gutter dog, and you're... Obviously nothing of the sort..." She mumbled at the end, Stub of a tail wiggling helplessly as she walked, still somewhat happy to know she would be getting food today.

Goldie sat back to inspect their cornucopia of food; leftovers from a steak restaurant, a few human handfuls of dog food, and a very large leg bone from a very unobservant butcher. I better not tell him that I stole this... She smirked, He's probably say, 'What? It was stolen?... NO! We must return it immediately!' And we'd never be able to eat. She sighed and looked off the empty lot they were currently stationed at. Stationed, that's what he called it. Treating everything like a job- his 'duty' It wasn't that Goldie didn't like the well meaning dog, it was that he took things too seriously sometimes. I guess that armor restricts him so much that he can't help but to be uptight. She chuckled at her own deep joke. Constantine led the grumpy female down the street. He would carry his head with pride, taking in the humans bewildered looks with a high and mighty smirk. It seems they truly do respect a dog in armor! he noted that Royale would glare and even growl at 'the two-legged-skin-bags', as she would call them. "Hmph. A Picnic? For a guy like you? Jeez, you're more of a prim and proper dog than i thought." "In my defense, It was Goldie's idea...." He said in a low flat voice. He couldn't quite grasp the way she thought, no true purpose, just wandering and surviving. I have a drive in my life, and I can't imagine living any other way. [glow=gray,2,300]Remember Constantine, you will meet others with not such a lucky upbringing as you. You won't always see why they do the things they do, simply accept them and help them any way you can.[/glow] He began to remember his fathers words. They always seemed to resonate within himself whenever he was in turmoil. Like a true guiding force in his life. "Why are you helping me, Anyways? Shouldn't you be off acting like a cross-guard or something?" The statement definitely took him off guard. His eyes opened with shock. I knew that she had a good soul.... he said to himself seeing her somewhat soft side. "I'm just an everyday gutter dog, and you're... Obviously nothing of the sort..." She began to weakly wag her tail. "You are more than that. You obviously posses a noble spirit and a warrior's heart. And besides, no dog ever deserves to eat filth... It is my honor to serve such a lady as yourself." he grinned. "It is my duty to help and protect. I trust you."The two turned a corner, through an alley. They were traveling farther and farther away from the bustling streets of the city. Finally they came to an empty lot. A dark blue figure sat before a layout of various foods. Her golden eyes turned and looked at each of them. "Ah, and who is this?" She spoke gently, taking the skinny hound with a sweet sweeping look. "This is Royale the Dalberman." Constantine said with a hint of pride. "And she shall be joining us for dinner tonight." He gazed at her with warm and sunny eyes...

You are more than that. You obviously posses a noble spirit and a warrior's heart. And besides, no dog ever deserves to eat filth... It is my honor to serve such a lady as yourself.
Royale had been called many things before, even a male, but a Lady? This took her somewhat by surprise, but she didn't show it, even though it was hard to hide. Pride was another thing that plagued her when it came to showing emotion.
"A lady, huh?" She said with a small grin of what looked to be happiness, yet it was twisted around to look like more of an evil smirk than a grin, from the way she had her head turned in all due respect. "A noble spirit is someone like you. I'm neither noble or a warrior. Just a stray dog trying to get by... but a Lady?" her Smirk widened into the beginning of a smile. "Never heard that one before."
It is my duty to help and protect. I trust you.
What is this guy, some sort of pup or something? Only month old puppies would trust someone like me! She thought. But, strangely, Royale didn't feel too disgusted by the seemingly kind dog's words. Eyes gazed forward as they rounded the corner, muttering under her breath...
"... Thanks...."
This is Royale the Dalberman. And she shall be joining us for dinner tonight.
Yellow orbs would glare sternly at the dog infront of her and Constantine, Evil smirk forming once again as her brow lifted from her eyes, giving her more of a calmed expression at the moment as she gave off that smug, almost flirtatious sort of smile at the corner of her muzzle. "Pleased to meet ya, cutie." A young pup yes, But Royale didn't beleive at love at first sight. More of a sort of "Flirt at first sight" Indication, but it was only for fun as her always stern, furrowed brow returned to turn her eyes back into the seemingly angry orbs of Dirty yellow light that they always were as she sat down, cracking her neck from side to side. Eyes still stared at Goldie as she asked her, "And what would your name be, missy?"

Royale seemed to grim wickedly at his words. Constantine almost gulped, afraid he had somehow insulted her honor. That's one of the worst things you can do, insulting another dog's honor is the worst bite to the ass you can give...A noble spirit is someone like you. I'm neither noble or a warrior. Just a stray dog trying to get by... but a Lady?" her Smirk widened into the beginning of a smile. "Never heard that one before." Constantine's ears flicked back as he licked the roof of his mouth. I hope I didn't dishonor her by saying that... As a knight that was offenses someone can commit to another. Suddenly, as shallow as a whisper she said, "... Thanks...." He grinned, "You're welcome , Dear one!" I knew I was right about her! She truly is a good dog, even if she doesn't see it. At least she's not arrogant like that one Cerule fellow. He thought with something close to disdain, That male just held his head far to high above everyone else's...Goldie was taken aback. Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this! A newcomer, eh?.... She has the same eye color as me... But its different.... Her head cocked to one side. "Pleased to meet ya, cutie." Constantine coughed back laughter as Goldie blushed. It wasn't everyday a stranger complimented her. Was that even a compliment? Before she could say anything, Royale said; "And what would your name be, missy?" She shook her head to make her fur go back to its normal state. "My name is Goldie." she smiled, "Enough with the introductions, eh? How about some food!" She stepped back and motioned to the ladened banquet before them. "Eat as much as you can, Enjoy!" Constantine smiled and Goldie sat in a very relaxed position. They wanted their esteemed guest to eat first.

A dog the color of the night sky stumbled in. She seemed to be crossing her paws as she stepped, like she was dazed. When she got close, she tripped, and blood trickled from a wound in her side. Her eyes flickered up at the dogs above her, filled with panick and fear as she struggled to get up but the light of day blinded her.
Shadora had gotten into a scrap with a border collie a few allies back and lost. When she heard the dogs talking, she ran to get help, but her vision in daylight was aweful and she had lost alot of blood. Now, she only hoped they would not hurt her after she had spoiled their meal.

Sniffing the air curiously, she would smirk once more, a devil like smile stretching across her face as she lightened her eye color by tilting her head just slightly to the right, Light gleaming off of the glowing yellow orbs hidden behind stern looking brows.
"My name is Goldie."
"Pleased to meet you, Goldie." She said under her breath as she lowered her head to the meal that lay before her, taking in the intoxicating smell. Fresh meat, a rarity to Roy, was as addicting as it was tasty. Such a waste though, she thought, for someone to just throw out a half eaten meal like this. Did they know that they're food kept dog's like her alive when they were in they're warm cozy beds and heated rooms while she slept out in the dark, in cardboard boxes and Dumpsters?
Enough with the introductions, eh? How about some food! Eat as much as you can. Enjoy!
Shaking her head, she decided it would be best if she just focusted on the meal, Ears flung backwards against her Box like head, Large muzzle sniffing the meal eagerly before looking up at the others, somewhat bothered by the fact that they were letting her eat first. "You guys really don't have to wait for me..." Somewhat annoyed, She would take a good portion of the Picnic, gulping it down within a matter of seconds, trying to ignore the watchful eyes of the Dog's around her.
"Hmph..." She grunted, licking her muzzle slowly before letting her eyes glance towards Constantine. "Hey... Got a question for you, Constantine... And for you, Goldie, if you don't mind.."
Smirk formed on her face once again as she shook her head, itching her ribs quickly before asking.
"I can see that Goldie is a Retreiver.... but, first off... What breed are you, Constantine? Second..." Roy let out a hearty laugh as she curled up on the ground. "... Can you tell the difference between me and a Harlequin?"

The two dogs almost had a comical sweat drop as they watched their guests seemed to almost maliciously glare at the food. Royale seemed annoyed at their patient waiting. Constantine cursed himself for not being a good host. "Sorry about that, Miss..." he grabbed the handful of domestic dog food and started chewing on it. "Mrpfh... Huffs thsat...(How's that?)"
"Isn't it some sort of Knight code to not eat with your mouth full?" Goldie smirked at her friend. "Einds ident errfen ough...!" He was going to say, 'I didn't even know it was in my mouth!'
Both Goldie and Constantine stared at each other at her question. "Actually, I'm a wolf hybrid. That means my father was a wolf and my mother was a dog. I grew up on a farm far out in the wilds... " Her yellow eyes drifted off to memories of a better time.
She shook her head, trying to banish the last bitter image of her past life. "...Well... breeds aren't exactly my Strong point, but I can tell that you are a Dalmation.... I can tell by those spots... and..." The dark blue hound rose to her feet and closed the distance between them to get a better look at her, "...a hound... no... and... something else." She's got a big boxy head and she's really really tall... Oh! How could I forget! My friend Cerule was a Great Dane, she must be too!
"I want to say Dalmatian and Great Dane mix!" she sat on her haunches, satisfied with her answer. "What do you think, Constantine?"
The armored dog was quiet for a very long time. His light eyes traveled to the ground and stayed there. Just when Goldie had inhaled to ask if he had heard her, his head snapped up and said, "I agree!" Whew that was close! I almost sounded dumb there! The knight proudly puffed out his chest and cleared his throat to talk about his family lineage...
A dog fell into their late night picnic. The two stood there for a few seconds, not moving. They listened to the newcomer's ragged breaths. Constantine was the first to move, his metal armor clinked as he strode over to the dog. "Hey.... Hey... You okay?"
