Ebisu Pack X. The desert roiled and raged. Sandstorms were getting frequent. A tan and blue Doberman stood tall on the Sanzocu Areno's tallest dune. The Bandit Desert... that was what it's name meant. The dogs of years past had named it that with all truth. The place crawled with low lives, but no longer. Zorro had cleared the place. The message was clear, this was HIS land now and as soon as he gathered takers... it would be Ebisu Pack's land. Again, such a perfect name. Ebisu meant savage... and that was exactly what his pack would be. Zorro, for all his heartbreak and pain, was a thief and a cutthroat. He'd only take in those willing to be such dogs or at least be able to sleep at night after a kill or two. In his own mind, Zorro found himself perfect of leadership. He was strong, a trained assassin, and had a quick and clever wit. What could be better? Just walking around looking noble wasn't going to inspire people to rise to your need and manipulation. No you had to PROVE you were a leader and Zorro believed that would be an easy goal.
X. His eyes scanned the desert before letting out a sharp howl. It was dark and sadistic, it rang and echoed over the desert lands. No ear within a mile or two wouldn't hear such a call. If his plan went on track, they'd follow it to. Right to him. Zorro, after finishing his call, leaped onto a boulder that crowned the dune. The sun stood at his right side, the faint outline of the moon on his left. The sandstorms rested, settling the desert in an anxious silence. Only Zorro's steady breathing and the rattle of a snake nearby interrupted the quiet scene. Who would come to answer his call? He was curious, but patient enough to keep the urge to pace at bay. It was time.

Kei-san lifted her head. Damn! she though as the desert creature of an unknown sort to her scampered off. With a slight growled, she turned her head towards the cry and squinted, the sand whipping at her eyes. Turning her body as the sand hit her like a thousand needles, Kei-san began to run towards the howl. It wasn't that far off, infact, and she spotted Zorro a few yards infront of her. Kei-san felt strongly intimidated by this doberman's stature. Her ears went flat and she crouched low to the ground, sticking close to the warm sand and praying that either he did not see her, or he wouldn't harm such a beautiful lady.
Suddenly, she thought better. What would a strong male like him think of such a pathetic female? She straightened herself up and stood stalk still, waiting for Zorro to turn and see her...

Powerful, black paws hit the sandy earth as a creature approached the scarred doberman. The sandstorm had cleared up just enough to see what was in front of you. It opened it's jaws, ready to speak. He's a bit smaller than I expected, but he seems strong enough. He licked his teeth impatiently. Only then did he realize the female next to him. Here to join, too, eh? Hm.[/i]
OOC: Oh woops xD *fixed*

As the cry came to her ears, the pup lifted her head; a lizard's tail sticking out of her mouth. I wonder who that was? she thought as she slurped down the last bit of her meal. Fu's ruby eyes glimmered with excitement as she pondered who else might have wondered into this cruel landscape. Though, she herself found this place quite nice; food was easy to find, everything basically took shelter under a rock. And with her infamous "ability," it didn't take much to catch something.
"Now... I wonder where the dog is?" she said aloud, closing her eyes. She could feel her brain pulsate as images began to flicker in her mind; soon three silhouetted figures appeared. "Yay, there's more then one and... They aren't too far away." And with that the young dog was off to find the others; her white paws leaving small imprints in the desert sand. Soon a breeze would come through and cover up her tracks, erasing the proof that she'd ever been here.
As she climbed to the top of a small sand dune, the other dogs' scents came to her. Pausing at the top, she looked at the gathered dogs, wondering slightly what they would think of her. A young, scarred pup coming to join up with them? Oh, well, her mind thought, bringing her to start toward the small group. Her step was lifted as excitement flooded through her, it had been awhile since Fu had been around others of her kind. She brought herself to a stop next between the white female and the strange male.

It was unlike Bandit to leave the city comforts which he was skilled in pursuing. The Ibizian Hound mix, however, was used to living in the dreariest of places. The rag and garbage bag which covered up the scar over one of his eyes seemed to trap in the heat of the desert, just as his white fur gave it away. This dog had no sense of smell, but Bandit was ultimately, a thief. Probably one of the grandest thieves one ever could meet.
It was then, that Bandit heard the howl, and his ears flicked. 'What possibly could that be?' He thought. Bandit walked toward the sound to see other dogs walking toward the sound as well-and he saw where the sound came from, a doberman of some sort, and he looked rather fox-like. That is to say, his name. Zorro meant fox in Spanish, though Bandit didn't know that-he approached the Doberman, and sat down before him. 'I doubt these others will go very far, only a true thief can survive.'

X. Zorro’s eyes narrowed as the first approached. It was a female, crouched low to the ground. Was she tying to hide? Did she think he couldn’t see her from his high perch atop the dune? Maybe so, but it mattered not. She decided to stand, Zorro felt like rolling his eyes, but decided better of it. Best to assess the situation before acting like an ass. She wasn't a total waste, she was average sized compared to the tall doberman's standards. He snorted, "Welcome... please hold questions until more have arrived. I will explain then and only then."
X. Next came, to his amazment, a hellhound. He'd seen a few in his days, impressed with their unique-ness and sheer power. No matter the form that power took; mental, physical, or magical even. Zorro's lips pulled up at one corner, a sly look entering his eyes. He didn't waste words, he expected the hellhound to be decent with waiting. Good thing the wait wasn't long.
X. The fox-like, narrow muzzle turned to point at the next arrival, a small pup. Zorro's eyes immediatly hardened. What use could a pup present? Maybe... a pupil? The soon-to-be Don's memories flashed by. He'd been trained by many a dog in the ways of spying, assassinating, and overall killing. Could Zorro teach this pup as a possible future assassin like himself? The idea puzzled him, intrigued him, and baffled him. "Such a small pup for so vast a desert..."
X. Soon after another arrived. Something about Bandit sparked intrest. A fellow thief. "Ahhh a brother in the craft!" His voice was emotionless, but a cruel grin plastered onto his face. It was merely the tricky smirk of a con-artist. If this dog was a true thief he'd understand 'the craft.' Thieves were low lives, but that didn't mean they didn't team up or work in gangs. Even tricksters like themselves had to have someone to watch their back. Zorro was pleased with the group and began.
X. "Welcome to Sanzocu Areno, The Bandit desert. I am Don Zorro and if you will lend an ear... I have an offer for you all," he spoke clearly and darkly. There was something that lured people in when he spoke, a hint of hispanic accent in the mix of southern that made his words pleasing to the ears. "There are other packs... who strive to gain territory, some to overcome evil, some to merely survive. I offer you a pack where the goal is to form a group of such variety and power that no dog would dare to cross the sands unless in search of protection or alligence. I offer a safe haven from humans and dogs alike, a place gaurded by the TRUE strays. I offer a rise from being seen as wimpy females, monsters and rejects, pathetic pups, and unreliable cutthroats." The doberman wasn't one for speaches, but he had an offer and he would allow no confusions or misunderstandings. Thus he gave a small speach of what he offered.
X. "I offer you to rise into the ranks of Ebisu Pack, a name that shall become a curse whispered unto innocent ears, a nightmare influenced on enemies, and a name of salvation for the hunted, wanted, or damned! I shall lead this pack and cause..." He paused, giving a soft silence. He lowered his muzzle and closed his eyes as a wave of sand passed. As it disappeared over his shoulder he snapped his head up and opened his eyes. In an almost snarling voice he finished his speach, "I am Don Zorro."
occ- Sorry about the length. Dramatic ending I must say XD

Kei-san grinned evily. Then dipped her head, acknowledging his power. I have to be careful with this guy... show him how strong I really am... she thought. "So Zorro... incase you may want to know, my name is Kei-san," she said, smiling wickedly. She stood tall and muscular.

Muna listened with great interest. He chose the right words... He decided that he would not say anything just yet. He only watched and listened, waiting for the right moment.
Muna was a bit surprised. He hadn't noticed any newcomers until now. There was a scarred dog near him, along with a dog with a peculiar thing on his head. I didn't expect so few to come..

((okay, I know this is really late, but these characters were finally accepted))
Two shadows streaked across the shifting sands of the Sancozu Areno, from a distance one might consider they wer suffering from double vision. The pair of dogs were a mirror image of each other, same face, same color, even the shimmering treasures that dangled from their ears matched. However, once you dared to get a bit closer, you could see the obvious differences in the twins. The male was a large brute that stood a few inches taller then his lithe sister. Though their eyes were the same shade of brown, hers had a ruby undertone to it and a cat-like gleam, while his were dark, cold, the look of one with an unstable temper. Finally, the scars decorateing their forms, the symbols of their very chromosomes seemed to be carved into their sides, among others showing a difficult past.
The twins paused at the top of a dune the oversaw a group of dogs, it appeared to be the forming of a pack. Elkader bristled slightly at the sight, "We should move on...," but as he turned he was stopped by his sister.
"Hold on brother...," she paused to listen to the words of the territory's Don, "This sounds.. interesting." Her ears perked as she took in more of the doberman's eloquent speech. "Very interesting.."
Elkader made a quiet scoffing sound and replied, "Castalia, I'm not sure we can trust these dogs... remember what happened the last time we trusted a group?"
Cas only needed to glance down the length of her own muzzle to be reminded, but merely brushed off the statement. "Kad, don't you see? This is our own kind, we wouldn't have to travel anymore. And besides, you just don't like the idea of taking orders from someone else."
Kad didn't aknowledge the statement, so Cas gave a smirk in knowing she had hit the mark. With a defeated sigh, he gave in to her wishes, as he often did, "Fine... we will join this band." In his mind where she couldn't contradict him he added, 'But I don't have to like it.'
