Small footsteps padded along the mountain path. Ears perked atop the the medium sized dog, amber eyes scanning anything that moved. She was alert, yet a small smile was on the dog's beautiful gray and white face.
Suddenly, she stopped. Breathing in, she caught a scent of bird. Stomach growling, she began to follow it. She hadn't eaten in a day or two and it was clear that she was hungry. When she caught sight of the pigeons ahead, she lowered her medium sized body and began stalking up on them.
She leaped and sent the birds flying. She easily caught one. Amber eyes shining, she laid down and began gnawing on the feathery prey. It tasted good and she was shortly filled.

While hunting, Montgomery ended outside of his territory. The Alpha male yawned a bit as he padded his way through the mountains with a very bored expression on his face.
The coon hound let out a loud yawn while walking through the dense brush. As he came into an opening, his ears picked up a faint sound. The flutter of birds flying into the air. With a slight smile he headed in the direction of the birds. "I could really use a snack right about now..."
Monty froze when the female came into view, he blinked a bit before offering a smile. "Howdy..."

((It can be at night.))
The female looked at the coon hound a bit shocked. "Hello," she said, a bit suspicious. Her ears were perked and amber eyes narrowed towards the brute. She turned as the trees and bushes rustled, but only noticed a rabbit scampering off towards its home.

- The day had been quite hot and humid, to say the least. But the weather was not the bother. No, not at all. If anything, the Sight-hound loved the warmer weather with a passion. The only problem with day was the sun. Long legs had been folded underneath his taught and lean body as he "hibernated" during the day in a burrow he had dug up. Actually, it had belonged to a hare, but seeing as it was too small for his long and tall body he put his claws to good use.
The sound of birds flapping their feathery wings, slowly woke the black and white male. He could already feel the chill that the night had brought because of the lack sun. It was a bitter sweet feeling for our little Dracula. Using his front legs, he pushed slowly lunged his body forward, hind legs following behind. He climbed out of his little nesting spot and stretched his athletic build of a body for the start of the night. Now, where to first? asked he in his brilliant head of his. His floppy ears flinched as he heard an ugly sound erupt from his stomach. Hunger was knocking at his door, and it wasn't the usual hunger either. It was the hungry for the crimson liquid that pulsates through the veins and arteries. It was blood, my friends.
With the intent of killing, the Lurcher pivoted to the left with his trained feet, looking for something to catch. Nothing was hard for the vampire-dog to catch. He was, indeed, a sight hound- those who used sear genius, speed, and sight to feel bones crunch between his teeth. Of course he was very proud of his lineage and his kind. Though he had Border Collie in him, the mixie only thought it improved his looks and wit. As you know, the Border Collie is one of the most intelligent of dogs. So one can only imagine how vain and how highly the dog thought about himself. He might as have been a Blimp, with that huge Ego of his.
Serkan's gait on the dark terrain was pure art. His lithe frame bounced slightly as his long, stilts for legs, carried it in flowing fashion. His trot covered vast ground as his pretty's face searched for something easy to catch. He stopped, however, once he saw two dogs in the distance chit-chattering about. Fuck, what do these illusionists want he bitterly though, which was quite hypocritical of him to think. Hmm, I see a smaller female. At once, he thought of ways to get to her without the orange male pestering the tall, sophisticated looking, male.
"Hey-" spoke he as he trotted toward them, trying to get their attention, "Seems like its going to be a colder night." He stopped as he reached the pair, only about three yards away. He knew that if he was to stop too far away, that they might see it as suspicious behavior. "I'm lost and new to the land. Can any of you help me?" asked Serkan as his voice and face both portrayed that of a kind, yet slightly frightened stranger.

Turning back to face a new comer, the small female's muscles tensed. She then noticed the look on his face and gave him a small smile. "I'm new around here myself, actually. I just got here from Shikoku," she said, her gray and white pelt being forced to stay flat. She didn't feel comfortable anymore. She felt cornered, but she felt like she knew the Coon hound wouldn't hurt her.
"I'm Yuki, other wise known as Yuki The Powdered Mountain," she said, smiling. She was known as the pup as two very famous dogs known in all territories. They weren't leaders or anything, but they were known for being friendly and for dying like real dogs to the fangs of an evil Husky who was taking over Shikoku.

Montgomery's eyes went from the smaller male to the darker lithe male who made his grand appearance. Those sad deep eyes focused on him and his maw broke into a smile. Without much concern, the hound sat back on his haunches, watching the two before he decided to speak.
"I see...so y'all don't know the territory. I do...I'm the alpha male of a pack called the Dark Faith pack. If you continue south from here you will fall into our turf...The Southern Alps. I'm not gonna be all 'Billy Badass' and say that if y'all step up in there that we will rip your throats out, but be warned...my pack isn't a group of dogs you wanna mess with. Don't wander into our lands without a good reason. I would personally let you go...but my Alphess...she's not so kind...She's a tad bit heartless, y'know?"
He continued to nonchalantly study the male before him. The sighthound was quite handsome and slim, but he really didn't look like he could take a blow from another dog. This dog was no threat to him, and he wouldn't certainly survive a trip into the Southern Alps...Monty could drop his guard.
"My name is Montgomery...Its a pleasure to meet y'all..."

The female named 'Yuki' spoke about how she was new and where she had come from. Honestly he didnt give a rat's ass about who she was and what she stood for, and he could tell that she wasn't totally sure about his very own prescence. Dumb bitch thought he with no emotion at all. He was great at masking his true feelings.
The lurcher nodded with a faint yet warm smile. He was accepting that she as on the same foot as he, a newcommer. Go figure. And what about the hound that also acompanied them? Well, he seemed quite down-to-earth. And Serkan paid much attention to his words as he reclined back to a sit. But what caught his attention the most was what he had said about the alphess of his pack. She's a tad bit heartless.
This stuck out like a Clysdale in a house. Yeap, pretty intense. He made sure to not only remember the dog's name, but also the name of the pack. Time to do some action thought he, as he nodded to Monty. "Would you mind bringing me to your..The alphess of the pack?" Serkan asked with much interest[/size]

Yuki turned to face the Coon Hound. "Actually, I was looking for a pack. Every one I have tried to join had beaten me and left me to die. I can't seem to find one and you're the first Alpha who has been nice to me," she said, hoping she would get a spot in the pack.
"I would very much like to meet your Alphess, too," she added after the other male. Her tail began wagging lightly, wondering what it would be like to be in the Central Alps.

Those deep eyes of the hound never left the male as he stared him down. From that friendly doggy smile came a very calm and cold statement. "As you two wish...you can meet my Alphess...and her mate...Mind your manners...Death comes quickly and easily in my lands...We don't hesitate to spill blood..." That smile could be mistaken for sinister or kind, its hard to tell coming from the jaded hound. Not much more was said as he stood up and began padding towards the Southern Alps. "If you are coming, its best you stay close with me...our eyes are everywhere...if you stray from me as we enter those lands...death could be lurking near by..." The lithe hound barely looked back at the two, offering yet another lost in translation smile.
