The land dripped like cold sweat off a human's back after being scared and running for their life. Rain drops from the last few days of storms made everything seem to come to life in this forsaken place, puddles creating splishing noises that would sound like a booming notion to those with senstive ears or still trying to sleep with the sun beginning to climb high in the sky. Lazy clouds rolled in the sky as wind blew through in an equally lazy manner for the hot summer days that were to lie ahead. With everything so green now instead of covered in unbareable snow for most, it was almost hard to recognize. During the winter months, this hybrid dog had been the one laughing at others because of how they shook and tended to get colds while just standing out in it. Now he was the one getting snickered at for it being so hot, and though he was raised here, a wolf's pelt tends to be a bit too thick sometimes. Though he was the one getting laughed at for his unfortunately thick coat, he was the one with the last laugh after he forced the others into submission. No one openly got away with laughing at him without having some kind of consequence.
However, in these passed few weeks, or was it months now? Either way, he had become anti-social from the pack and knew already there would be hell to pay for having been missing for action. He had heard news of someone giving birth in the pack, but he did not care. He was only back because he had no where else to go. He was bored everywhere else that he went and even more so he was completely and utterly out of place elsewhere. to be honest with his heritage, he had been surprised when he had been accepted here to the pack. But would they even recognize him now? Calico like pelt partially matted on his chest from a kill he had made earlier for an extremely early morning breakfast. Stopping at a running creek, Valerion crouched in a feline like way and lapped at the water hungrily and greedily. He cared not for manners anymore. This place had changed that in him. He was angry more than anything now, becoming as silent as a mute. He no longer considered himself a guardian to others, having lost all of his morals and self-respect to himself and others. No, he was changed for the worst, bringing out the bastardly cruel wolf in him. And having become even more anti-social, things would probably end up turning for the worst soon.

I love life every day In each and every way Kafka would be proud, to find out I'm certain of the end
The news of a birthing had most of the pack buzzing with excitement and joy. Birth was a sign of new beginnings and new hopes for the future generation. Everyone should of been happy, everyone should of been excited, but one pack member could not bring herself to be happy. The young akita pup walked away from the aura of happiness and welcomed the dark gloom of her aura. She did not like how the attention was taken off of her; she wasn't greedy for attention, but she did like it. She had been the youngest member of the pack, but now she wasn't. There went all the special attention.
Fu grumbled to herself as she walked, not really paying attention to where she was going. A storm had come, but now it was beginning to subside, but it had left her body drenched. Being so small, her body would freeze much faster then a full grown dog, but if she kept moving, she should of been fine. That way, if she continued to stay dry. No, Fu couldn't do that, for splashing in puddles was far too much fun, and helped lift her mood. Soon she was laughing up a storm as she pawed at the edge of a rather large puddle. She had forgotten about the birthing and the fact that the pack now ignored her, something that would come to bother her later.
After awhile, she grew bored with the puddles and went about finding something else to do. As she neared the river, she froze. Her pupils began to enlarge and shrink as her Mind's Eye activated, causing her to go temperately blind. But in her head she saw everything, flashes of lifeforce flickered here and there until it focused on the brightest one. Soon the light took on the form of a canine, then in a flash her vision was back. She smiled and changed direction, heading toward the canine she had seen in her head. As she approached him, her ears perked up and twitched slightly as she heard the sounds of him lapping at the river's water.
"Hello there," she called, wagging her curled tail.

During his greedy intake of water, he temporarily stopped to listen to the giddy sound of a child playing happily. An unusual noise coming from this area, but as far as he knew the pack could have changed to a nicer group and started letting children join them. Not likely. He knew this pack well enough that they would never change for the better even if their lives were on the line. Snorting and shaking his head as looked back down at the water. "Children should never be allowed into the pack... This place is not one they could survive easily in..." He scowled at his blood stained reflection in the water as a dark sneer spread across his maw. "But why should I care? Afterall, you've become nothing more than a heartless monster in their eyes.." He snarled at his reflection with his oddly colored eyes becoming emotionless and dead cold. He would always be a damned monster in their eyes.
As he dipped his head down once again to continue his greedy intake, a chipper voice came from his right. Immediately pinning his ears back, his startlement did not reach his eyes or his physical appearance as those eyes laid upon the young akita. Oh goody... Bitter thoughts swam in his mind as all he wanted to do was scare the child enough to make her run so he could be left alone. But he knew that once a child found another to talk to, they did not give up so easily. Standing up to his full height, he would tower well above her, even taller than the so-called alpha Montgomery. He thought he was so big and bad because he was alpha, he had no idea what other were capable of doing. He apparently never knew of a wolf hybrid to be very nice, and though he used to be a big pushover for kids, living here changed him for the worst, changed him into something that even the pack would hate if they saw how his true temperment of the wolf was. "Hi.."
Valerion bluntly stated as he stifled a growl in his throat. In the time he was absent from the pack, any who approached him so openly were usually after him to either kill or chase him. And though Fu, this young pup, was nothing of trouble, the habit that was hard bitten into him would not be snuffed out easily. Oh he wanted to run. He wanted to scare the child. He wanted to kill something. He wanted to another pack member because he could get away with it. There were many thing he wanted to do, and yet the thought of hurting this small creature before him never crossed his mind. He could not hurt a child no matter how much they deserved it. It had been worked into his mind long ago when he lived with humans. He knew the young were the future hope, knew it was an ancient cuase that others could not ignore it. It was an ancient rule that crossed time and dimensions. He knew that and no matter how bad he wanted to hurt this creature for coming upon him at a bad time, he would not be able to bring himself to do it.
[ I don't mind at all ^^]

The young pup watched the stranger with interest, for she had not seen him before. Was he apart of the pack? Or was he perhaps, an intruder? Whether it was the first or the later, Fu did not really care; she was just pleased to be with someone. She disliked being left to her own devises, but that was what it seemed as late. Oh how it frustrated her. Though if the pack knew better they would not of left her alone... Paris knew the reason why, but the others did not. This young akita lacked morals of any kind and could watch a fellow canine die and it would not effect her in anyway. Though, just maybe it would if she had some attachment to that said canine, which was unlikely. Fu was never around long enough to form attachments, usually she was chased away or grew bored of a place and left. But maybe this time would be different maybe she would grow to care for someone.
She continued to approach the stranger, but stopped when he turned and spoke to her; his voice low and rough. This made her cock her head slightly and grin warmly at the wolf-hybrid. The pup had no fer, for she had yet to learn the meaning of it, for no one brought fear to her, she brought fear to them. The 'X' scar across her forehead marked her as a exile, and one could only wonder why one so young was an exile. But her scar did not cross her mind as she once again walked toward the much larger canine; head held up high and tail wagging. "So what are you up to, Mister?" she asked innocently, sitting down in front of Valerion. 'Me, I'm kinda just up to nothing... A packmember of mine just gave birth so the whole pack is excited and whatnot." She rolled her eyes in annoyance; "Even the tough males are going soft, its so pathetic." She finished her little rant with a flick of an ear and then stared up at the larger canine. It had not crossed her mind that she should not of been sharing information about the pack with strangers.

Somehow he was not surprised when she continued to come towards him and acted as if he were not scary and scruffy like he was as look in the reflection of the water. Oh he just wanted to chase her off and be left alone, especially when he still had yet to meet one of the other pack members who tried to joke with him about how hot it was. When the pup spoke, he rolled his eyes and was not surprised about the news. "That's not surprising... everyone always forgets their duties when something like that happens." Once again his rough voice stated bluntly. Crouching down at the water's edge, he looked at his reflection once more before lapping at the water once more. Whoever this pup was, she needed to be cared for and taught proper manners instead being allowed to roam off of her own free will. Stop it, stop it! You've changed remember? She means nothing to your current position anymore... Pushing thoughts from his mind, he finished his share of the water and sat back on his haunches and licked at his muzzle of the water remaining on his whiskers. "Just up to nothing, or is it trouble you seek?" He asked with that gruff voice, odd colored eyes zeroing in on the small pup. She had a scar on her head, he had scars on his body all over. A scar is a scar no matter how it was looked at.
