Over the fence she went, For to the heavens her master's were sent. Empty was her belly, Her walking corpse smelly. Her head full of angry bees, Plagued by pain that brought her to her knees. Her story begins here, Where Death creaps ever so near...
Fraoch walked through the green forest on a dusty path. Her body ached in pain, and it wasn't long before she would collapse. Her large frame had lost almost all its former shape, her ribs stuck to her skin as her muscle was eaten away. Her fat reserves gone she needed to eat, to hunt, but everything she went after was too fast or too strong. She was a housepet but a hunting dog as well, unfortunately she only knew how to track her prey and take down a WOUNDED animal and carry it back for her master, but now she knew there was no going back, both were dead.
Her last meal was what was within reach of the cupboards and cabinets at the house but that was days ago. She started to get a bit dizzy and decided to stop under a tree and rest a bit. She dare not close her eyes no matter how badly they wanted to, she didn't wan't to die yet, not until she was sure there was no alternative...
'Don't fail me now Heart, I'm not ready to go to the skies just yet...'

I can't feel my senses I just feel the cold All colors seem to fade away
The air was crisp with a light, cool breeze; it wasn't enough to chill the air, but just enough to refresh it. A lone figure walked about, enjoying the breeze and freshness that it brought. Her pumpkin orange markings stood out against her dark gray body, making her quite noticeable, even at a distance. But this did not make her a poor hunter, she had learned to work past her short points in order to succeed. Succeed, the word made her laugh as it crossed her mind. It was hard to believe that she had succeeded in anything, giving her current loneliness.
Kris sighed as she thought of her fallen brother and the ones that had killed him; would she ever be able to live a day without thinking about them? If that day ever came, she might curse it, for she had to remember it, for that was what had made her who she now was; a loner. The german shepard x shikoku ken cross lowered her head slightly and closed her single, golden eye. memories poured into her head, making the fur along her spine stand up. "Im sorry, brother," she whispered softly, then lifted her head back up and continued to walk. Then suddenly, she froze as a scent came to her. The scent was that of the dying and she knew that scent all too well.
Quickly she turned in that direction and started to run, why, she did not know, but she did. As the scent became stronger, she slowed down and began to look around. Her eye caught the object and narrowed slightly, it was a hunting dog, a very thin hunting dog. "Are you... Okay?" she asked slowly. Looking over the other, it was easy to tell that she was far from "okay".
I can't reach my soul I would stop running, if knew there was a chance It tears me apart to sacrifice it all but I'm forced to let go [ooc: Mind if I join? ^-^] [song: Frozen; by Within Temptation]

[OOC: Gladly! :3 Oh and if you need to here's my character here...] gingarp.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celticwolf&action=display&thread=2469&page=1 She hears a voice and raises her head, "Are you okay?" was all it said. She got to her feet to shake of the leaves, with much strain and much heaves. She looked apon the stranger with her better eye, And held back her joy so she wouldn't cry...
Fraoch raised her blue-grey head to look at the stanger. "No I'm not feeling to well..." She replied shakily, "I've been walking for days but haven't caught a damned thing..." She finished angrily. The Dane and collie mix may have been in poor shape but some of her former self still clung to her bones...
She had a danes body sleek but with little muscle as of now, but with hints or areas of fur where the collie comes in especially in her large ruff like a mane. One of her blue eyes was slightly cloudy due to her partial blindness from birth. She was young only about 2 years, and she definately wasn't street smart nor forest savvy...
She looked at the black dog with the strange orange markings and asked a very simple question... "Are you here to help or are you here as Death's exocutioner..." She said flatly, looking into her eyes with a blank face.

"No I'm not feeling to well... I've been walking for days but haven't caught a damned thing..."
Her single eye narrowed ever so slightly as the dane-collie mix spoke of how she was. It was easy to tell that the other canine was not use to living alone, had once this other been owned by a human? Kris had no attitude toward humans, she just didn't frankly care for she had never met one and really never planed to. And although the one before her was weak, she held no sympathy for her, for the german shepard x shikoku ken cross had been left to fend for her self at only a few months of age. Her and her brother had survived on their own, while running for their lives from a bloodthirsty pack. Now, why couldn't this other canine fend for herself?
"Are you here to help or are you here as Death's exocutioner..."
This statement, caused Kris to growl slightly, for she was no bringer of death and she would never be. In was an insult to be called that. "I am just a simple loner," she snarled angrily. "Not some foul monster that brings about death!" The fur along her spine rose as her anger boiled, but as she looked upon the frail animal before her, the fur began to lie flat. This creature was close to death, for course she would wonder if some stranger brought about her death. S-sorry," she barked, turning her blind eye to the stranger. "...If you wish... I could hunt for you..?"

Fraoch
A nasty reply, not even fit for a fly. But she made no stir, as the stranger growled at her. A offer? A favor? Should she say nay or should she savor?
The dane mix chuckled slightly at the raised voice, not being quite sane while doing so. "T'was only a question..." The young femme replied. She noticed that the dog had calmed slightly and managed to apollogize. "No need to say sorry to me, you have more right than a house dog thats for sure..." She blinked. "Hunt for me? Frankly I'd rather be taught to hunt for myself... After being so used to the prey being weakened by thunder sticks Iv'e lost my natural instict, or, so the crows tell me as they laugh..." She grimaced.

"T'was only a question..."
The dark female narrowed her eye slightly, slightly regretting having snapped at the stranger. But she had already apologized, so there was no sense in doing it again. She was still a bit mad, but was slowly calming down and as she looked upon the other female as she spoke again, and she just sighed; what had she gotten into? This dog was a stranger, a strange one at that; I mean, what dog couldn't hunt? This one must have been with humans for way too long, but even then... But who was she to judge?
"Hunt for me? Frankly I'd rather be taught to hunt for myself... After being so used to the prey being weakened by thunder sticks Iv'e lost my natural instict, or, so the crows tell me as they laugh..."
Kris' head cocked slightly, Thunder sticks? she thought, wondering what they could possibly be. It was something used by humans, that much she could figure out, maybe later she would ask about them, but for now... This other canine needed food. "Right now, you are to weak to hunt and plus, the smell of death is all around you, it would signal the prey that you are coming. I'm surprised that the crows have not come to check you out yet," she said harshly, wrinkling up her nose.
"But maybe after you get better..." she paused and looked away, then sighed. "I could teach you." Kris couldn't believe she had just said those words, but they needed to be said. Maybe being around this other dog would help her out some. "By the way... I never got your name. Mine's... Kris."

Fraoch
She decides to savor, savor that lovely favor. What will she bring back? A deer? Or perhaps a rat. A chance to get better, she should be glad she met her...
"Maybe my stench is to much even for the crows..." She chuckled, but...If you insist..." She added bitterly, she hated the fact she was so weak that she needed a stranger's help. She sighed and layed back down again under the tree. "My name is Fraoch, but if its to hard to pronounce you can just call me Heather..." She answered cooly. "By the look on your face I'm guessing you've never seen a Prey Fetcher...From birth I was trained only to fetch my master's kills, track his next hunt, and bring down any prey that didn't die from the first crack of thunder..." She added grimly. "Frankly I feel more like a pet than a dog..." She growled.
[Thanks... Nah its okay my muse fails on me sometimes too...]
