The forest was carm, the light breeze moving the leaves carmly in the tree-tops. The birds where singing the insects where buzzing and all the flowers where in bloom, It was truly a wonderful place.
Gin was walking along on a human's dirt road. He still had a clean leather collar on from his old master. So when he walked passed humans they assumed he wasn't stray and so never touched him. Undisturbed Gin walked looking up at the tree's watching the blossoms blow about in the weak wind. This path was so carm. Yet Gin had a mission in his mind.
There was a small traiding village at the end of this dirt road. And no doubt they had strays, or even better old fighting dogs. He was assembaling a Army on behalf of his brother Ichioru. As he walked down the path, it was clear that Gin was no pure bred Saluki, His legs where alot stronger, more musculare. He was taller than a typical Saluki with bigger paws.
Soon the Path turned to stone and ahead was the small village square. Sure enough there where afue dogs wondering about, but nothing Gin would have thought 'Army Worthy' just afue small, thin, mongrels. or collared pets on rope. He wandered though the street and out to the other side by a rocky river. "This is disapointing" he said to himself, closing his eyes and dipping his slender muzzle into the water to drink.

It had been only a month since the puzzling find of the large cargo stranding itself upon land... and nothing aboard but gore beyond the sickest of imaginations. Strange large paw prints had been found in the sand from the ship that led into the forest where all the wild creatures roamed, and so no one really dared to follow what had made those huge tracks.
Lying in the brush between two boulders in a fairly tight squeeze for such a huge creature, yet typical for a snake to curl up and sleep. As the wind quietly passed over head, leaves scattered here and there, some even getting under the false nose of the creature who slept soundly. The smallest of motions caused the beast to twitch the false nose and use a large red paw to wipe away the unwanted sensation. As crows croaked over head, shouting insults at the monster that should not have been alive, the beast moved enough to startle the crows away. THis beast had an effect on most creatures like that a scary story at a camping did to the weakest of heart. She looked like power and one of the most inspiring creatures to look at, but she hated herself as well as most others who dared come around her.
Growling in a lazy manner, yawning and stretching to the light of the day she mostly slept through, those near blind eyes searched the area. Forked tongue flickering out constantly as the air was tested for any threats or even some food around her. Grumbling under her cold breath as she stood up and her antlers became ensnared in the lower hanging branches. Thrashing her massive head about, the branches finally gave way from the force Nao used. Nuyka N.A.O. kept her head low to avoid the branches, stretching once more to ease off the deep feeling of sleep. As the crows came back to watch this walking dead creature, she stretched into a tree and sharpened her long dagger-like claws and leaving deep gashes in the tree from the bottom of the top of the branches to two feet from the ground where her claws almost became stuck within. Yawning once again, though it sounded like a snarl from her deep voice, she stomped twice on the ground to feel where everything was and began walking in a direction she chose, hoping to aim for water and hopeful food nearby as well. If all else failed, she'd hunt down a stray human and enjoy a large lunch.

Gin's ear twitched as he heard a animal come towards the river from the other side. though the bushes he could just make out some antlers. The Gray Saluki licked his lips, he may not have had much luck finding alleys, but at least he could eat well before moving on. His blue eyes looked round, Spotting a good rock shrouded by bushes not to far from the river Gin jumped behind it. He smiled peeping behind the rock at the antlers that continued to aproch. His long ears rested on the earth, as he lowered his body and head, ready to lunge at his unknowing pray.

Stopping abrubtly, black forked tongue shot out several times as it tasted the air. Nothing yet.Lucky for the saluki mix he was down wind or this beast would have detected him and gone around to rip him to shreds for a nice meal before going on her way.
Pulling her head up high enough to peek around yet still be hidden behind the lower branches of trees, those ears twisted about in a manner that a deer would. Satisfied it was just the wind that had caused the sensitive russling sound to jump with joy in her eardrums, she snorted and pawed the ground and lowered her head once more to avoid the low branches. Yet still as she neared the ever enlarging scent of water, the feeling of being watched seemed to grow ever more with each step. Sure she was used to the feeling by now, but it was even more than she cared to let it linger. It was setting off an alarm in her experimented brain that something was not going to end well. Snorting again, the beast continued to near the point of discovery.

Gin followed the movments in the bushes, his blue eyes fixated on the spot. Gin only moved his head in the bushes as he feared his pray might have caught his sent, But luckaly the wind was in his favor. As the deer began to move again its sent crept over the river and into Gin's nosterals.
Gin jumped back in fear, that sertainly wasn't the sent of a deer, or anything else he had come into contact with. His eyes glainced away for a moment as his heart began to race. 'What sort of creature is it?' he asked himself. It certainly didn't smell natural. he gulped and laid low, waiting to see what it was his curiosity forcing him to stay. what sort of creature could have a sent like that?

As she finally neared the end of the brush, which seemed to have taken her ages, her large paws thudded upon the earth as she stopped and looked around again with her blind eyes, forked tongue flickering as the wind blew again. Giving a sort of growl to any one direction as that massive head looked around, the beast finally came fully out of the shadows. Hissing under her breath and taking the first step into the sun. First it was her paws that had become visible, large orange talons leaving gashes in the earth as she walked, toes spread wide enough to see the thick black webbing between her toes as well as the raptor like claw for a dewclaw. Next came those horns on top of the rising head. Muzzle starting with large fangs that protruded from underneath her upper lip, a black tongue that represented a snake in all fashions and ways. Thick mane was dull and lifeless looking even as the wind blew it about. The further Nao stepped out of the shadows the more of her body that was visible and the more of her would be engraved into those who were watching her movements. The back of her neck held four sharp spikes and at the base of her tail and onto her tail were a set of five spikes, all sharp enough to seriously hurt or kill in a manner of the right swing. Bowing her well-muscled, lithe body low to the ground, spotted shoulders and hips popped quietly as she put the tip of her muzzle in the water and began to sip it up. Long thick cheetah like tail flipped back and forth as the beast continued to drink greedily.
