It had been a week or so when the alpha female, Lyca left with her comrades Oni and Bear to go on a little mission. The alpha male Neon had also been gone until just two days ago. The had survived without the alphas there. Neon had, had his worries about the pack falling apart, but his mate Lyca had reassured him that the pack would fine as long as they those who were left in charge did as they were told. The large black three year old male with his neon green necklace sat in the middle of the clearing sniffing the air, ears flicking back and forth waiting for his love to return unharmed.
Pride, one of the great dane brothers had returned on an individual refreshing the markers missions. Looking at the alpha male was tense was rather unusal for the male to see. Neon had always been calm and laxed but with Lyca gone, he had changed and not for the good really. Walking over to his leader, the great dane sat beside him and glanced at the tree line where Neon continued to stare. "You shouldn't worry so much, after all Lyca has been on her own for some time before she met you or any of the pack members. She'll be ok, besides Bear and Oni will protect her... Not that, that she needs to be protected by others." the male laughed lightly.
Neon looked at his comrade, "I know your right Pride.... But its just that without Lyca here just seems to be like I'm alone and I know I'm not. There's also another reason wy I want her back home. I've been feeling as though something bad is going to happen any day now.... I just don't know what to do about that. Lyca is usually the one who deals with things like this." the big black male said, his voice rough and ragged as though he had not slept in days.
Just at the base of the mountain a large black figure stood looking up at the mountain. There was no sign of other animals around. What is this creature? Where did it come from? And what does it want?
