Small feet tapped on the black ashphalt, orange with small white claws, splashing through the water. Rain pattered down over the houses, and not being nighttime yet, the streetlights were still dormant, giving the town a sullen and grey look. Bright colours obviously not important to the artist who painted the scene, rain came down at an angle, showering doors, windows, streets, everywhere the water could get it's cold fingers, seemed to turn grey and stonelike. A smaller male human rode quickly on his two wheeled transport, also known to some as bicycles, the tires parting the water on the street, sending the droplets flying to the sides in a long streamlike manner, then fell as he sped away, down the road to his next destination. She hoped he got locked out in this weather.
Although Mikiyok has been taken care of by her various humans she delivers messages to, she was always jealous of the simple and warm life humans and fully pet dogs had. Food, Warmth, Bedding, Miki had none of this right now. Her pale stomach growled at her, threatening to hurt her if she didn't eat soon. But she was past her deadline, she continued rushing down the sidewalk, her fur drenched. Exhale. Her breath left her, turning into a ghostlike apparition and dissapearing. Cold wasn't the real problem. Vrrrrrshh- another boy on a bike sent water flying, striking Miki's hindquarters and making her stumble. No, the cold wasn't her problem. She cursed the rain under her breath and stood back up, trembling slightly as she shood the gathering water from her orange fur. Her fur now declining to stay down, stuck up at odd angles, giving her the appearence of a pomeranian. Growl. Wet. Wet was worse than cold, wetness drove the cold through you, and at times, hypothermia would set in, freezing you from the inside out- Not that that would happen this time of year.
Miki looked up at the clouds, rain dripping onto her muzzle and rolling off the sides, her brown eyes examined the grey masses, such objects that flew in the sky and poured rain upon the world, they were out of one's control, larger than life. Coming to Japan only nine months ago, Mikiyok had only mastered a little Japanese Kanji, her face in a puzzled state as she looked at an adress on the side of a building. After a moment of trying to remember numbers, forgetting, then remembering again, she strode up to the house, and shook out her fur under the shelter of the mudroom roof. She barked once, pawing at the door and awaiting for the person inside to respond to the noise and claim the parcel, probably wet by now, that sat in the rucksack adorning her back, the straps covering her torso.

The streets were nice and quiet but the drencked smell of a[halt was like travelling with a skunk under his nose the entire way to his destination. He desserted his pack and was once again left alone to be on his own. Ever since he had first come to this country, he had nothing but problems sticking around any one group at a time. Perhaps he needed more patience with others, but with his growing age he was becoming less and less of a talker and that would seemed to do nothing but cause trouble and break promises he never really made in the first place. Afterall, he had promised to protect someone who had travelled with him for a long while... and now she was gone, disappeared without a trace. He knew she was gone and yet here he was, traversing even into the city streets and other villages to try and find the one he had travelled with. Could he really be losing his mind that much to the feeling of comfort he felt around his disappeared friend? The answer could have easily been yes since he talked to the voice in his head that only laughed at himself nowadays for trying to look when she would be nowhere. At first when she disappeared, Musou thought she had been taken in by a family of humans, but no one really wants to adopt an elder dog anymore. They only want puppies who cannot defend the family if danger appears.
But it had been a long time since he even thought about turning back and returning to his pack where he always had a warm den and had authority to keep others in line. No. He wanted to be free. If he were to be part of a pack he wanted his own. He wanted to lead one, he wanted to have a family beside him as well. But none of those things were possible acting like a canine lost in his old memories. Your a fool for desserting a pack who accepted and ranked you well within the safe compounds. Quit searching for her... you know she's gone for good.. His mind began to scold him again, over and over until Musou physically growled in that wolfish tone and shook the rain collecting in his gray fur. Red mohawk disarrayed and spikey as if he were trying to look aggressive to anyone who passed by. A kid on his vehicle and wearing a tarp zipped by, swerving to avoid getting close to the large, lanky hybrid. Large feet tipped quietly on the drenched cement, small swirls of blood stained the water before disappearing.
The rain was cold and the ground hurt his feet, but it all felt good for a change of things.

Mikiyok grew slightly impatient, her tail beginning to uncurl. She barked again, a loud sharpness that rang in the air, similar to the metal chimes that hung from the eaves of the home, the metal rusted and worn from rain and wind.
Ctunk ctunk ctunk Footsteps? It sounded like footsteps, but of a heavier being, and as the male opened the door, she found herself correct, a heavyset man stood at the door looking down at her with half closed eyes. Mikiyok barked again, and leaned down, trying to tell him that she held onto his parcel. The man frowned, leaning to the side and grabbing onto something with one of his thick hands, and bringing it out in front of him. The sight of it made Miki's fur stand on end, and she began her turn to exit. The man's broom came down on her rump, and she yipped, eagerly running back down the sidewalk, away from the large man who's voice chased after her, "Get away, ya' Mutt! People're tryin' to sleep!"
After a couple houses passed by as she ran, she leaned her head over her shoulder. Miki checked on her tail, she lifted it over her back and wagged it slightly, it hurt, but wasn't damaged, the fur ratty where the broom had hit, bristles caught in the bright orange. Stricken in the head by sharp realisation, she realised her problem, wrong house, wrong adress. "I'll never learn the human's language..!" She growled quietly, the rain pattering down around her, out in the open. Nine months and she still didn't understand the lines and curves.

Paws aching from running on the hard streets and not the soft dirt like the forest, she was driven here. Oh how she wanted to turn and fight those who chased her. Her black coat soaked by the rain and stained slightly by blood. Though her blood like marks made her body seem even more wounded than before. Lyianna didn't care, a small blood trail followed behind her. How far was she willing to go, to kill me?" The she-wolf asked herself.
The sound of a human on a bike filled her ear fur, slowing her pace, Lyianna glanced back. No one in site... sighing with relief of losing her made Lyianna smile. "THERE SHE IS! DON'T LET HER GET AWAY!" There racing towards the wounded fea was a young black wolf hybrid. Her darker colored blood like marks seemed to mimic Lyianna's yet they were more blood like.
Fearing for her life and the thought of not killing the female who chased her, Lyianna turned and continued to run. Not caring where she went, she just wanted to get away. Her paws began to bleed from the chase. The young she-wolf hybrid who presued her was Lyca, Lyianna's half sister. Lyca's blood was ablaze with rage and hate for her half sister.
A large black male with neon green eyes and a neon green necklace ran beside her. The two were in step as they chased after the wounded she-wolf. "I'll never let you sleep Lyianna! Not after I let you go the first time!" Lyca looked at the large black male beside her. His eyes flared with hate for the fea that the two chased.

Continuing to walk in the slump that he had caused on his own, his sensitive ears began to capture noises coming from all angles at first. First there was a loud yip and the sudden fleeing of a streaking orange furball. At first he thought it was his imagination playing tricks in the rain. But he really wanted to make sure he was not entirely gone just yet. Trotting quietly, he padded to the end of the street and sure enough there was a short-like canine that had been ran off by a human. Humans, he knew, were good for nothing and abusive and a waste of space. It was why he generally steered clear of the villages and the city.
Then all at once came the quickening pace of a black canine, still shorter than he, who seemed more injured bodywise than he had been at any one time. Red ears perked as the matted blue scruff on his neck began to rise. Two more began to appear as the black canine tried to stay many good leaps in front of them. Why did he always have to appear at the times when others had an incredibly, even rougher time than he? So are you just going to stand and watch or try to help it out? You need exercise instead of trying to chase after a female who will never come back.. "I know... but she was the only one who had been nice to me even after the crude awakening call..." He mumbled to himself, trying to quickly come to terms if he wanted to help or just let it be. He understood that she was being chased for a reason, but many did in such a manner for the murder of pups or the death of a family member. At that same moment he was about to mumble to himself again he heard the smaller dog speak aloud in an irritated way. He couldn't help but smirk at her words. What she just said is the exact reason he was not a pet dog... or rather pet hybrid. Growling as he looked back to the three canines quickly approaching his intersection, he moved more out into the open andpointed his slender head behind him, hoping the canine being chased would get the hint and stood his ground like he owned the city.

Miki was soaked, first of traveling through the rain, now back out into the street as a flurry of drops flew up the asphalt.
A vicious blur roared past her, and she flinched, leaning out of the way, after she blinked open her eyes, she noticed two more canines after the one that had first ran by. To avoid being caught up, she ducked quickly to the side. It was not the feral dogs she disliked, but many of them had a fighting history, and some would more rather chase a domestic dog than a wild one. Her brown eyes watched after the dogs, and for the first time, she noticed the male who she had run by without realisation. His slender but strangely intimidating form moved out into the open, was he blocking their way? Her tail lifted off her back nervously, Was he going to fight?
Mikiyok didn't think she couldn't fight, but she would rather not get tossed about by such large dogs. Then again, she didn't want to watch if the dogs chasing the first caught up to her as they had seemed to be acomplishing. Without a clue on what she should be doing, Miki loped allong on the grass, gaining speed. If there was trouble, she would at least not just stand by and watch. Quick mind working without thinking, she forgot entirely about the package she had been attempting to deliver.
Being behind them, she hadn't seen the vicious and unforgiving faces of the two chasers, nor what they were barking to eachother, and at the victim of their chasing. Claws skimming along the darkened concrete. If she had, she would have fled out of there like no tommorow.
(sorry, somehow still tired even after being awake 45min.)

Lyca glanced back at the orange canine who followed behind her and Neon. "We might have to fight three against one. I just hope the others will get here before it gets to out of hand." the starless night, dark red blood marked coated fea barked at her mate. Neon nodded in agreement. There were two other groups who had went in two separate direction in order to capture Lyianna.
Lyianna noticed the male ahead and came to a halt just a few feet away from the large hybrid male. Fangs bared and claws ready, pelt bristling with anger and fear for her own hid. "I didn't think she had allies in the city. I have to do something before she gets any closer but what?" Unfortunately Lyca and Neon both had increased their speed in order to get close to the fea.
Without warning the darker blood marked fea lunged at Lyianna, her fangs sinking into her half sister's neck. Neon's fangs sank into Lyianna's left shoulder. Three great danes came racing to wards the three wolves. Without a word the tall canines sank their fangs into chased Lyianna's back. Pride, Brave and Noble had come to help their alphas in destroying the existence of Lyca's half sister.
A large mainly white wolf with a black streak through his main and black marks around his eyes came forward from the shadows. His icy blue eyes glanced at the male who had made Lyianna stop in her tracks. "I wouldn't even think about helping this female. She had brought nothing but trouble to my alphas and their pack." Zeal snarled at the male. A young silk smooth black fea wolf came from the shadows and stood beside Zeal.
She glanced at the orange fea who had pursued Lyca and Neon. Fangs bared and ready to strike, all had their hackles raised and none were in the mood for a fight with other canines who didn't do anything to them. Lyca glanced at the male hybrid and snorted. "This female here tried to kill me and my pups as well as destroy my pack. I gave her a chance to live and never return to my territory, she didn't take that chance and by trying to kill me yet again plus my mate and our pups. I will not allow her to live. Do not interfere with this!" The fea managed to say through the mouth full of fur, meat and blood that now started to drip into her jaws.

He had not intended to get the fae hurt even more, but as the other dogs started to come out and surround them with their fangs bared, Musou bared his own huge fangs. He had more wolf in his appearance than these others. Snarling back and snapping at Lyca and Neon to let go of the female she had, he stood over her and snarled at all of them. They had reason, but sometimes it took others a third chance before they could truly understand they were given their life for free. "Give me one good reason why I should let you try and massacre her here instead of doing it in the forest?" He growled dangerously at them, ignoring everyone's orders to leave the fae for dead. He was a loner, but he knew when something wasn't right and this would not be right if he let them kill her on the streets. He would rather they did it on the dirt where rain could wash away all the evidence. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw that same orange furball. But his gaze never waivered or changed even as the number of dogs continued to increase. He had been in fights where he was outnumbered and remembered all the times of when he somehow got himself out of the trouble still. Loner or not, ths was wrong and he was not going to let it happen just because it was convenient for them. "If you truly want to kill her, do it outside of the city where humans dump all of their unwanted and dead things." He growled, snapping at anyone who came anywhere near his hide.

The rain seemed almost eerily silent as Mikiyok heard the male speak, his tone threatening though protective, be it of the victimised female, the situation in itself, or any other matter. His tone made him seem larger than she thought he was, and she stalled for a moment, flinching when she finally noticed the wolf gazing over in her direction. Not very tempted to fight, but in hearing the male defend, she attempted, what she thought was a start;
Faking brave, Miki uncurled her tail, trying for a dominating pose- though probably just making herself look foolish in the process. Opening her mouth to bear fang, the feeling felt wrong, with her small teeth they could hardly be used as proper weapons, let alone a threat. Her tail leveled out slightly, realisation like a heavy gravitational pull. Despite fear lingering in her mind, her orange ears remained dormant, perked up on her head.
'They could have chose to kill her here, in an attempt to prove themselves, or the female could have come here to have witnesses, or the area is crowded enough that escape is impossiable, ORR..' She tried to escape the scene and wander through her thoughts. Though some almost as distressing.
(Sorry again, confusing post, confusing day x.x)

Lyca, Neon, Brave, Pride and Noble relaesed Lyianna. The large male standing over her. Lyca snarled at the male who was protecting the likes of her... "You want a reason...? The reason is she nearly killed my son and my mate! I gave her a chance to live and she didn't take it! I will not let her get away with attacking my pack again. Hand her over and we'll take her out of here and finish our job!" Her blood boiling with hate. Eyes flaring with anger, Neon had seen that look far to often in the last few days.
Lyianna stared at her half sister, eyes filled with fear that had never been there before. The three great danes snarled at her. Oni and Zeal smirked at the orange female who acted so brave. "You two canines, seem to not want us to kill her... That is understandable, but never the less, she has attempted twice to kill us. Give her to us and we will take her to our home and keep as a prisoner. She'll be able to live but she won't be free." Neon spoke. The tenation in the air was unberable for Lyca and those who wanted to fight. Neon was the only with calm enough to speak.

Naturally, the older, more experienced hybrid snarled back and was so sourly tempted to attack the fae for practically trying to spit in his face. But that irritating voice in the back of his mind kept him at bay. That voice was the only thing that kept him from trying to tear a piece of his attitude into all of them. At this point his reaction to any kind of touch would be to instantly snap back or attack immediately. As long as the female underneath him stayed still, she would not get another taste of fangs into her skin by sheer accident. Shifting his weight and getting into a protective fighting stance, his mouth was very close to her auds. "When I tell you to run, Run." He whispered so quiet that the others would not be able to hear. And without warning he growled at her, momentarily taking his eyes from the group and lashing his blood red eyes back at the partial pack before him. "So she's a wanna-be pup killer. I've dealt with killers before. As I can see she obviously failed to kill anyone, why waste your breath when so far from your home? DO you even dare waste life on her when your pups need attending and rasing from yourself and not others?"
He growled at Lyca, eyes glaring and piercing into her soul. He had pups once, but all that faded in the blink of an eye when he was forced to watch them get murdered. And here he was, facing an angry mother who was physically neglecting pups to catch a wanna-be murderer. Mothers don't do that. They protect their pups at all costs and send the pack after the miscreant. He was getting sick and tired of hearing about all of this nonsense. "Do you really want your pups growing up to understand that in their crucial growing period they were not taught meaning? If that is how you want them to grow up you may as well let this fleabag finish the job. Now that you have her here, how can you even trust your own packmates to watch your oups so soon? Wouldn't you be afraid they'll be tempted to kill one or two without you knowing?" Oh yes, there was a plan concocting in his old brain. But whether it would work was only a matter of time. if all else failed he'd either be forced to fight or carry the injured fae and run like crazy to stay away from the others. What made him different than most dogs, he had no training to climb trees. Granted it was a lot easier doing it by oneself, but if he had enough speed to the jump, he'd be able to hide without even hurting himself. All the while he practically lectured Lyca, he could not help but watch as the smaller orange dog faked being brave. Nice attempt though she needed to slow her heart, he could see her pulse pounding like no tomorrow.

"So she's a wanna-be pup killer. I've dealt with killers before. As I can see she obviously failed to kill anyone, why waste your breath when so far from your home? DO you even dare waste life on her when your pups need attending and rasing from yourself and not others?" Mikiyok listened to his words, momentarily out of her head to hear him growl, then begin interrogating the female for all to listen.
Mikiyok's tail flicked as she saw the two smirking at her, had she fooled them? The male's eyes lingered on her every so often, so she doubted she had him believing it. The main two, the ones who had been chasing the fae, were more concentrated on the male before them, who clearly looked more of a threat than.. A puffed up orange Arctic Dog with a backpack. She choked back a laugh at her desription of herself and regained reality yet again. The male was still interrogating, but he had a firm grasp on the female's role as mother. Her ears still perked, she waited as he finished, seeming to think things through a bit. Miki felt like adding something to the speech, though not much came to mind. "A Mother is a predecessor, and a predecessor is an example." She barked quietly, hoping that no one heard, but at the same time, wishing that they all had, and that her voice was clear and dominant.
Mikiyok felt the drumming in her chest, she leaned her head to the side and slowed her breathing, hoping to ease the beating of her heart. Had she been so scared before? Yes, back on the ice up North, where she had come across a full grown male seal, and keen on making it her kill, the seal quickly turned the tables on her.

Lyca listened quietly as the male spoke... what he said was true. Lyca was afraid for her pups, but also knew that they had watched her enough to know how to fight. She was training them and the rest of the pack was training them as well. Just as the fea opened her mouth to speak another spoke. Glancing back, there Lyca saw an orange fea with a backpack on her back.
Lyca smirked at the what the two canines had said. "Your right I do fear for my pups, but my pack would never let them be harmed. I don't consider my pack as a "pack" but as family. They've all seen my anger and can easily tell when I'm angry. Besides all my pups have already killed dogs twice their size. I don't care what happens to the little..." Lyca trailed off, forcing herself to think before she continued to speak. Blood still boiling, she took a deep breath and sighed.
Pride snorted and looked at the male in front of them. "Lyca is a very good mother and the pack would be more than ready to give their lives for her, her mate, and her pups. She would do the same for anyone of the pack. She's like a sister to me and I'm always ready to die for her." Lyca looked back at Pride with a grin. He was a great fighter and one of the canines who was helping her train her pups.
Neon smiled, "Seeing as how your so keen on protecting that female, you had better keep her close. She enters our territory again and she won't have time to beg for mercy, because we won't show any. So count your blessings Lyianna. This is the second time you get her life back." The large male turned and headed back the way he and Lyca came.
Pride, Noble and Brave followed him without a word. Zeal and Oni followed right in behind them. Lyca stood there looking at Lyianna and the male. She turned to leave but then glanced over her shoulder at her half sister. Eyes cold and filled with her anger, "Lyianna... I never meant for that to happen. I'll give you this last chance to be a free wolf. But if you ever try to kill anyone in my pack again, I'll rip her throat out without giving you a chance to run." Lyca started to walk off.
Lyianna stared at her half sister as she started to walk off. How could Lyca be so kind, this was the second time Lyianna had tried to kill her pups... "Why.... Why won't you kill me! I've tried to kill you, your mate, your pups and even our brothers and yet you always forgive me. I've done so many wrong things to you and yet you still forgive me.... That's why I hate you! My heart is so full of hate and so was yours at one time. But now your so happy and your hate is nearly gone. Please help me!" Lyianna thought to herself.
Forcing herself to her paws, slowly as she laid beneath the large male, she crawled out from in under him and dashed for Lyca. Lyca's ears flicked as the sound of paws came toward her. Lyianna jumped up and tackeled Lyca, the two roled for a minute. Lyca stood above her half sister, fangs bared and ready to strike yet she didn't. Lyianna smiled at her sister, "I'm sorry for all the things I've done." Lyca's eyes went wide with surprise. Neon and the others snarled and bared their fangs waiting for Lyianna to attack Lyca.
Lyca smiled back at her, "Your the strangest wolf I've ever met. Your my sister yet your my enemy.... Both of our hearts know hate so well and yet its hard to let that go. Lyianna come and live with me and my pack. I'll show you how to control that anger and hate of yours. But you must do me a favor when I ask and thats any favor..." Lyca looked at the large male and smiled.

Much to his own surprise, this savage female was very loved among her pack, no, her family. That was an alien word even in his mind as he silently pondered it while wondering exactly what the true meaning of it was. A few years ago when he first came to these lands, he had a mate, they had pups and yet she betrayed him for the sake of living in a pack that would otherwise have killed the pups. They did not like he was a halfbreed. They wanted the purest of wolves and his pups were the ones who still got to live while he was exiled.
His mind came back to the present as the smaller dog spoke up, his gaze reaching her and softening a little as a small sliver of a smile came to his muzzle. She was right. Mothers had the greatest impression on pups than even the greatest of fathers. He looked back to Lyca, hardening his gaze again, but not baring his teeth this time as she seemed to be calming down. Before he knew it, they were all starting to leave, allowing Musou to stand up to his full height while he still stood protectively over the female who was going to be doomed. As he started to sigh, the female started to move. He moved away from her and started to chase after her when she collided with the head female. Ears went back as he started to snarl then silenced himself as he heard words of apology. As the two seemed to be lost in their strange world, Musou started to walk away. He had done something unexpected today, he should have been happy about it. But Lyca's words of pride for her family still rang in his mind. He wanted a family, but he could not let himself get close enough to let himself be hurt again. Stopping when the alpha fae stopped talking, he turned to see she was staring at him, smiling. His lop-sided gaze kept hers as she seemed interested about something. Why was she smiling at him? He dipped his head out of respect and started to walk away slowly, head down and just the way he was before all of this happened. Once again, where he had stood moments before were small pools of blood.

Mikiyok felt a faint shiver as a drip of rainwater fell from the back of her head and onto her back. It was letting up a bit, turning into a quiet 'tap tap tap' sprinkling of cold droplets. As the rain had eased, so seemed the quarrel that stood before her. Mikiyok's dark brown eyes scanned over everyone elses, then landed back down on the one who had seemed to be called Lyianna.
The sister of Lyianna counted her pack as family, a close knit organised society. She knew what family was, especially the bonds between her owners, customers, and herself. A thin smile appeared on her face as she saw the alpha let loose the fae who was halfway hidden under the male. As the group turned, starting to walk off, the torn fae had gotten herself up, and Miki was surprised at that she didn't seem very tired, perhaps catching her breath while hidden. The fae raced after her sister and tackled her.
Miki's ears flickered in surprise, and she surpressed a bark that was itching to get out of her throat. One ear bent to the side and she smiled quietly as they didn't seem to be as lethal at the moment, but she followed the fae's gaze to the male who had begun to leave as well.
