The sun peered though the snow filled clouds and rested between the Roedor Valley walls. Kerberos was laying on his back in the snow. He had a smile on his face as he rubbed his back into the cooling snow. He made a plensent purring sound with his eyes shut as he continued to rub snow into his thick coat.
There was a small cut on the bottom of his back leg but it was faiding by the hour. His eyes opened and he got to his paws and shook the snow out of his back. "Synyster, Synyster!" Kerberos barked spotting Synyster a little way in the distance. "We've taken this territory, now we can start paridise" Kerberos barked running over to his small master.
_______________________________________
Grey sighed as he dared to wander though the terrier territory. He was trying to change himself, make himself a dog worth somthing, for Lyca, for his brothers, for himself, He wanted to be able to hold his head proudly for someone. Grey walked down the steep slope into the territory, he was walking though the woods expecting Mole to just jump out at him from the rabbit holes.
It was a while since Grey worked for Zetsu, afue things had changed since then. Grey had braved it in Tokyo, he defended some young stray dogs there from the same gang that burnt fear into his heart as a youth. He had yet to find his brothers and talk to them but he was hoping that finding Lyca would lead him to his brothers again.
He was also looking for Mole, who had left him with a pretty impressive scar over his right eye. Mole was a tiny dog, but he had a huge heart it was the first time Grey had ever been proved wrong about a dog, and paid for it. Grey wanted to see the little terrier once again, and ask the terriers oppinion of weather he'd changed enough to see Lyca and his brothers again. He wanted to know if he'd changed enough for Lyca to see.
He pondered the answers Mole might give him, he thought about finding his brothers first or just going straight to Lyca for forgivness and acceptance. He looked up though the tree's to the valley clearing and spotted a huge monster, Grey froze instantly and ducked into some thin bushes as some sort of cover. "What the hell is that?" he wispered to himself looking round incase there were more monsters. "Where the hell can the terriers be?" he said out loud once again peering though the branches at the feline-like monster fixated on the shere size of the creature, he couldn't believe such a thing could exist.

Synyster had made himself busy cleaning out the old alpha's den until it was just comfortable enough for him to squeeze into. It was much larger now, with his renovations, but it still reeked of the Roedor Valley dogs. Still, that didn't matter much to the hellhound. Soon, their smell would fade into the snow, and be replaced with a much stronger, more pungent smell; blood and victory.
Syn walked out of the den, hoping to locate Keroberos and go over their plan for perhaps the sixth time in a row. Normally, Synyster wouldn't have to repeat such a simplistic plan so many times, but the other hellhound on his side was not the brightest on the block... and Syn.... Syn definitely was.
"Synyster, Synyster!" Kerberos barked, breaking Syn's train of thoughts. A snarl escaped his lips. How many times had he told this oaf that he had changed his name to Shade?! "We've taken this territory, now we can start paradise!"
"Keroberos you fool," Syn spat. "First of all, regard me as Shade. If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times. Secondly, the battle is far from over. Those dogs escaped to regroup and plan a counter attack. We are going to need more troops if we want to keep this territory under our paws and take over the rest of Japan."
The winds changed, and suddenly, a new unfamiliar scent made its way into Syn's nose, "We have company."

"Who?" Kerberos answered simply, Kerberos didn't get the answer he was execting so was still trying to regester the new information. 'call Synyster Shade' 'Can't make Paradise' 'Counterattack' 'Need more troops' 'Company?' Each thought in Kerberos's mind was completely seporate taking about a minute each before Kerberos moved onto the next thought and forgot the prevous one.
Grey spotted the second monster, well mutant really his coat was a odd color but he looked about the normal hight for a great-dane. He saw the monster come out of the Den. "Maybe Moles pack are trapped in the Den?" Grey said quickly not noticing the flawed change in wind. He day-dreamed about saving Moles pack from the monster and Lyca and his brothers coming to watch last minute. He smiled at his day dream and when it ended he was between the tree boundery walking towards the small terrier den. Well slightly larger den.
As he weeved his way though the tree's he'd lost sight of the monsters, He believed the monsters couldn't have been there that long because some of Moles markers were still pretty strong. As he walked through the tree's he could begin to see into the terriers den, "Nothing?" he said to himself looking round once again.
As Grey turned right round he looked down at a oppresive shadow, then followed it to the cause. Grey's stature began to shrink, his curled tail twisted between his legs as all the bravory and pride he had stored up began to seep again. "Found it Synyster!" Kerberos shouted to his commorade. "I mean Shade" he barked after a short pause. Kerberos snarled at the gray intruder.

"Good job Keroberos," Syn sneered. "You live up to your tasks after all. Expect a reward later."
Synyster stepped forward from behind the giant beast's legs, his eyes narrowing on Grey. In his mind, he knew that most logical thing to do would be to kill this pathetic mutt, but... perhaps with the right persuasion, he could prove useful. "Who are you, and what are you doing in my territory?" he said with a calm voice, but with enough venom to prove that one wrong word would be fatal. "Of course, perhaps you came to join me, Shade, and my companion, Keroberos in our conquest for Japan to create a paradise even greater then the one at Ohu. Is that the case my friend?"
His tone was as sharp as a snake's and much more diabolic sounding, even though Synyster was far from angry. Regardless, he knew if he was going to convince Grey to join, that he'd need to have the right balance of authority and gentleness, and the way he was acting now was just that. Terrifying, but not threatening.
Powerful winds swept up, sending sounds and smells from far off to Syn. His enemies were growing in strength. He needed to be an even match, at the very least, if he wanted his plan to succeed. "Perhaps I should make this more clear," Syn growled after Grey was silent for a few agonizing moments. "If you are not hear to join my cause, I will kill you."

"Killing w-won't be nessessery" Grey stuttered after a long pause. His terror filled eyes flicked from the feline monster to the huge thretening wolf. "I" Grey coughed clearing his stutter. "I heard you were making a paradice for only strong dogs and, and I want to play a part it it!" Grey barked his stance changing to somthing more brave. Greys mind was kicking himself, how could be become just another monsters pet? well this time it was going to be different, The wolf ahead of him looked very clever. If that wolf was going to make a paradice there wern't going to be meny foolish dogs standing in his way. especally with a pet like P5.
Grey looked away for a moment his scar shone in the light and a plan to gain the monsters trust poped into his head. He smurked "I'm glad your starting your paradice here, I was attacked round here by a pack of small dogs, they outnumbered me and scared me like I it was just a game to them" He barked at Shade confidently. "I'd come back here to get my revenge, but it looks like you've done it for me. It seems I'm in your debt, Is there anything I can do for you... Boss?" Grey said bowing to the wolf with his head and back low to the ground.
Kerberos didn't really understand why he couldn't kill the gray mutt straight away, maybe Shade was going to play mind-tricks? When Shade mentioned 'Reward' the thought flew right out of P5's head as he waged his stub of a tail for a moment. then looked hard at the Gray dog as it spoke.
"Oh I'm forgetting my mannors" Grey said as he raised his head, "They call me Grey" he said his stance was not the one he used to take to Zetsu, he wasn't stammering or fearful though he was to begin with. No, Grey had gained some pride from his trip to Tokyo.

"General Grey," Synyster corrected him. "You are a strong dog. It would be fit for you to take a high role in my society, yes?" He knew that with this thought in the dog's mind, the deal was sealed. He had his first accomplice aside from Keroberos. "For now we bide our time General Grey. However, you should be acquainted with my partner, Keroberos. Eventually, our goal will be to eradicate humans from this god forsaken island, and turn all of it into a place where dogs reign supreme. I believe, that you are a good first step in gaining some valuable power needed to accomplish my beautiful vision. Clearly, many dogs will try to oppose us, but they are the weak minded fools that do not deserve the world I have planned. You will have to be the paw that strikes fear into our enemies to either make them retreat or join the cause. If not, they will all die by our fangs. Is that clear? Do not disappoint me Grey."
Synyster swished his tail with impatience. While Grey was indeed valuable, he was not enough to oppose all the dogs that Lyca and Mole would surely gather together. He lost himself in thought, wondering what other dogs might join his cause. Names flashed through his head, until the Hellhound landed on one: Chrome Gunpowder. Yes, the experiment that had managed to escape before him, the one to give him the idea that he was more powerful then the infernal humans locking him in a cage.
He would have to find that dog, as well as many, many others.
"Grey, do you know of any more dogs willing to join our cause?"

Kerseros grined as Shade adressed him, "Of course, I've just journeyed back from Tokyo, I passed meny villages filled with strays, I'll start today" he said with a dark smurk.
The then bowed agaon before following his own paw-steps out of Reodor Valley. 'Lyca must already know about these creatures, No doubt she's coming up with a fool proof plan. But till then i'll hold up my end of the bargen and get him some followers. Selling Paradise won't be too hard' the sly Grey thought to himself as he ran on though the tree's

Good, Synyster thought with a vile smirk before turning to Keroberos. He knew that he would have to explain his reasoning in the simplest way possible. "Grey, that dog you just saw is our ally. Understand?" Syn waited until Keroberos's eyes lit up with knowledge and then nodded in relief. Good, Grey would not suddenly turn up as a pile of eaten bones under Synyster's feet. Now then, he had promised Keroberos a reward, and Syn was a dog of his word, even if his mind was a bit off the chain. "Walk with me Kero, we will go hunting. This is your reward. There are larger animals for prey in the forest."
Plus, Syn thought. There may be other dogs idly wandering around here. They will be easy to add to my legion. Yes... and if they refuse, Keroberos get's an extra treat with his meal.

He was not pleased. He was not amused. He was not patient. The sniveling canine below him was only serving to prove his qualities. Chize'l watched the dog, giving himself a headache at how hard he was scowling. It was whining useless words, begging for mercy. He knew, vaguely, what that was. It was leniency wasn't it? He knew that word. He knew it because he'd never been shown it. The hellhound was growing weary of this. He slammed a massive paw down on the canine's skull. The feeling of flesh welling up between his toes disgusted him and he flicked the limb to rid himself of the feeling. With a sigh he sat, leaning against a tree with empty eyes. He wasn't sure what it was, pain maybe? No. He never felt that, it was always just whisps of endorphins he felt. If it wasn't physical pain then it was physical fatigue. Chize'l was tired. Upon realizing it he snorted and laid down slowly, the corpse laying abandoned a few feet in front of his keen nose. There was still a raw feeling in his flesh from a few weeks ago and the new pain from last night. There was a slash across his shoulder, obviously the newest wound in his assortment though the others were hidden by his fur. The grey-striped monster turned his hulking head to peer irritably at his hind leg. Three bullet wounds in the thigh. Two in his chest. One through an ear. Two more in two different paws. Four randomly across the torso. They should've hurt, but the recently awakening instincts still didn't make them hurt. The genetics the humans designed still had control over that. The faint whirling of helicopters passed his ears as he remembered the episode a few weeks ago.
He had awoken in some sort of building, bound and tied in a cage. There had been other dogs and the like in cages as well, a few experiments and the others were meant to-be ones soon. It had only taken a moment for him to make the decision and, with the help of a few others, he was able to break free and set the others free as well. They had all taken bullets and even scalples from some desperate scientists trying to protect themselves. They'd finally made a run for it into the open, night air of the desert when guards, helicopters, and two partically-machine canines had attacked them. None of them lasted long. The group of misfit experiments had annhilated their opponents and made it to freedom.
It had been... amazing. Chize'l examined a large paw in front of his face as he mused the empty feelings he felt after they'd all parted ways. He had been born and trained as an experiment, had been formatted through DNA to be the perfect weapon. However, the instincts previously laying dormant had awoken during that. Now he longed for that pack of lab rats. Honestly he longed a lot lately, to hunt and howl and be, but there was no such existance for the brutish beast. He was still a loose trigger, an unstable creature with few words and eager jaws. The Seraphim slapped the paw back to the ground and dug his claws in. Those damned, white-coated beasts had taken that easy future from him and gave him instead this lonely, longing existance. "Heartless. Shame, no hearts. No eat." Yes, the only thing he pitied of them was that they had no hearts for him to eat. No one who did that to any living thing could have a heart. Chize'l gave a glare at his paw that could kill men of lesser will. He knew he had no place to talk about being heartless.
[Hope you don't mind Chizzy and I poppin' in here.]

It had been two weeks.
Only two.
It felt like longer to Atsuki since he had escaped from the lab. Freedom, it felt amazing. Part of him knew that he should be off after those experiments, but the other part of him was absolutely exhilarated. He thought things would be harder for him, that he would have to learn everything over - but to his surprise, it was all easier. Hunting, traveling, living. He loved it, despite being a monster now.
He had nowhere to go.
All because of them.
After all, who could love something like him?
He wasn't particularly ugly, no. He wasn't mutated horribly, nor was he missing any patches of fur nor scarred. He was simply huge. Larger than most men, larger than other canines. His appearance alone would strike fear into those around him.
All except for one.
Shortly after his escape from the laboratory, he had run into a rather strange dog, and like him, it too was mutated. It wasn't as large as him, but it seemed to be more mechanical. Atsuki felt some sympathy for the creature, not able to imagine the experiments it went through - they had to be worse than his, judging by appearance alone. But there was something different that set this canine apart from the others. It accepted him. When they had first come across each other, he had learned something rather interesting about the other hellhound. It was both female and male as it seemed. Its reaction was strange in its own right, but Atsuki quickly grew fond of it.
She, as he first believed it to be, seemed almost awed at his appearance, as it was the first thing she had commented on - rather enthusiastically, as he remembered. "HOLY SHIT, YOU'RE HUGE!" The reaction had taken him aback, but what set him back more, was the sudden mood swing it had had, suddenly becoming very calm and accepting. It had interested Atsuki, enough to allow him to let it into his non-existent social circle. Congratulations Atsuki, he now had his first "friend".
Shifting his large head, he looked down at the cyborg padding by him. laying his ears back, he closed his eyes and huffed - his breath falling out as a small cloud, dissipating high in the air. "So, where are we heading, exactly?"

Chrome Gunpowder padded along beside Atsuki, neither male nor female in its current state of mind. No, it was more focused on just getting where it needed to go; days upon days they'd been following the trail of another, vaguely familiar smell. It was only when Chrome Gunpowder heard Atsuki speak that the mutant set itself on a gender. Thankfully, the more sociable of the two personalities set in; Chrome, the male. He stopped, turning his head towards the younger hellhound with an all knowing stare. His mechanical eye glowed for a moment, as if focusing on something off in the distance, but Chrome soon decided that this was of no concern to him. Instead, he coiled his long robotic tail around and pointed ahead of them, "There. Roedor Valley. An acquaintance of mine happens to be there, and through my vast sources of information, I think this would be an appropriate place for us to make our home until further notice. A pack of dogs who respect hellhounds; does that not sound good to you Atsuki?" Chrome slowly turned his head back towards the direction they were going. Straight ahead. His paws dragged in the snow, weighed down by the mechanics on his body and his extremely old age. Chrome had been living almost twice as long as a normal dog due to the taxing of his body. Somehow, the mechanics on him kept him alive, yet at the same time, made him feel older then anyone else around him, even the humans that had created him to be what he was now. A beast. Neither male nor female. A quick shift in the winds, and suddenly, Chrome was no longer Chrome, but the ever more irritable Gunpowder. A fire of determination passed through her eyes as she set off at a slow run to get to the top of the hill. Atsuki would have no trouble catching up; Gun was slow, but her natural weight was not going to stop her from reaching her goal. Once at the top of the hill, Gun lifted her maw to the skies and let out a long, screeching howl. Clearly, her voice box had been shot many years ago, so the sound coming from her was no longer that of a howl. No, it was something much more grotesque. *** Synyster and Keroberos walked around the outskirts of Roedor Valley, keeping alert for any signs of life that they might be able to eat or recruit. Soon enough, the scent of fresh blood made its way into Syn's nose; fresh blood and the scent of a being similar to him in many ways. "Come Keroberos, we have your lunch up ahead," Syn stated before taking off at a trot. Soon enough, the sight of the abandoned carcass and Chize'l dozing off to the side came into view. "Take the one that's already dead and allow me to speak with him, understand Kero?" After making sure that Chize'l was not a part of the lunch menu, Syn approached the other hellhound, dipping his head in respect, but his eyes not portraying one true ounce of it. No, to him, everyone, including the beat in front of him, was inferior. Even the canine that inspired him to escape the facility of hell was inferior in its own ways, but Synyster didn't know that Chrome Gunpowder was quite closer then he thought. "I see we have another like us on our newly established territory. Tell me friend, what is your name?" Synyster said coolly, showing no signs of aggressive behavior. Of in the distance a howl echoed in his ears, and Syn mentally cursed himself for his bad timing on finding Chize'l. Still, Gun was a smart dog, she would probably find him eventually, and so Syn ignored the call. "I am Shade," Synyster introduced himself. "And over there is my accomplice, Keroberos. I hope you don't mind him stealing your kill over there. His stomach would have either decided to eat the dead thing or you yourself, and I being his master, told him the wiser decision."

((Great to see you Kana! Aww poor Kerberos he can't help being thick, its because he's half cat.))
Kerberos padded quite happily by Shades side... it had taken the large creature a while to rename Synyster to Shade but it had finnily clicked, near enough. Kerberos looked ahead when Shade told him 'lunch' it was the only thing going though the monsters mind as they walked.
When Kerberos saw the red and black coated wolf though the tree's he snarled a little, its height made Kerberos feel short. but Kerberos was alot stockier and strongly build, and heavier for sure, He listened to Shade's next instructions and picked up the prey before walking beside Shade, still carrying the food in his mouth.
He looked at the beast while holding the prey, in his dull eyes you could see there was very little thort going on inside. He then heard a howl not to far off the bourders and raised his head in the air dropping the carcass and looking round before resting his eyes on Shade. He now new this stranger wasn't aloud to be eaten, but not the other howls. "Want me to protect the borders?" Kerberos asked looking back round where the howl was from. He didn't take his eyes off the spot of the howl, his ears flicked waiting for another howl while he also waited for Shades answer.

What the hell? Some shrimp of a beast just trotted up and grabbed his kill. He wasn't exactly planning on eating it, but something in him told him that it was a very... insubordinant move. In his own mind Chize'l still wasn't exactly the alpha, but he had the natural testosterone-fueled dislike of any bold actions towards him. Stealing his possible food without permission just made him scowl at the other. Before he could tell the stupid wrench to leave another hellhound showed up. They were both much smaller since he was nearly at seven feet, but the smallest was obviously the brains here. The other's question snapped some memory to surface. "Seraphim Chize'l. Archangel Projects. Division 7."
As soon as he finished, the glassy look in his eye vanishing, he snarled and turned him head in shame. Something feral inside screamed at those words as if he were prodding it with a hot iron. How could he still bear that name? Still admit to it? With a disgruntled sigh he rose to sit, towering over both, but held no malice towards either. If this was their land then he had no right, something inside said. "Not friend. No friends for us. Only war. Only allies. Only enemies for us." He pointfully ignored the comment about the theft of his kill. Chize'l didn't care what happened to the corpse or if they were having border issues. Chize'l watched Shade with the single, crimson eye. Despite his short sentances and dull personality there was mild intelligence in his gaze. For the monster he was, he was still a sentient being and able to reason and think for himself. Chize'l was no brainless puppet like Kerberos, he was just a monster in a world of more monsters. Humans included.
[Hopefully by the time it's my turn to reply I'll have enough money to make Chikyuu, so he'll probably make his appearance next time as he catches up to Chrome Gunpowder and Atsuki.]

It had not been but a few days when Xena a female devil hound that loved the sight of battle and the thrill of a fight. She was a rhodision ridgeback canine, who wore a bandage on her right front leg, where a scar was hidden and two of her claws were gone.
Xena walked alone, listening intently, what she was listening for was a battle, she sat waiting, eyes focused on her paws.As the female bloodlusting warrior waited she heard voices.
The warrior got to her paws and followed the voices, bearing her fangs ready to fight, even without her weapons.Xena would not go down so easily as most females who were weak and helpless, she killed all who stood in her way.

"There. Roedor Valley. An acquaintance of mine happens to be there, and through my vast sources of information, I think this would be an appropriate place for us to make our home until further notice. A pack of dogs who respect hellhounds; does that not sound good to you Atsuki?"
The large hellhound fell quiet in thought at his words. Respect… It was a new word to him, but he knew quite well what it meant. He longed for it. But, it didn’t sound good to him, no, it sounded amazing. Atsuki looked down at the snow below his paws, barely coming up above his claws as Chrome ran ahead. Growling in sudden irritability, tail twitching, he looked up as a new scent reached his maw. Not only could he smell it, he could taste it. The lingering scent of the pack that used to reside here and yet another scent that sent a shiver down his spine.
Other hellhounds. They smelled different to him, tasted different. Lowering his maw from the skies, he focused his eyes on his traveling partner who slowly, but effectively made its way up the hill. Something quickly became clear to him in that moment.
Chrome was no longer with him.
But instead, it was Gun. Laying his ears back, Atsuki moved forward as she released her strange howl. He wasn’t sure though, if it was more of a howl, or more like that of the death cries of the wretched humans, a shriek perhaps? No – some strange combination of both shriek and howl. Regardless, the noise didn’t bother him much, he had heard worse noises, especially back in the lab.
But it sent a strange feeling through him. He felt like he should lift his own maw back to the skies and release his own deep howl. But what would that do? What would it accomplish? Nothing. Not at the moment, at least. Quickly making his decision, Atsuki lowered his head, keeping himself quiet as he stepped next to Gun. Ears now erect, he set himself to contently listen out for others while Gun finished whatever she felt she had to do.
“Yes.” He finally replied, words slipping out as a growl, “Some respect sounds like it’s well deserved.”
